Embodiment 1.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a handrail tension body inspection device of a passenger conveyor according to embodiment 1. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of a handrail tension check device of a passenger conveyor according to embodiment 1.
In fig. 1, a moving handrail 1 is provided in a loop shape in a passenger conveyor. For example, the moving handrail 1 is provided to an escalator. For example, the moving handrail 1 is provided on a moving sidewalk. The moving handrail 1 includes a plurality of tension members 2. The plurality of tensile members 2 are provided inside the moving handrail 1 in parallel in the width direction of the moving handrail 1. Each of the plurality of tension members 2 is provided in a ring shape in the same manner as the moving handrail 1.
The handrail tension body inspection device 3 is used by an operator during maintenance inspection of the passenger conveyor. The handrail tension member inspection device 3 includes a housing 4, a roller 5, a pair of magnetizers 6, a magnetic sensor 7, a signal processing circuit 8, an inner wiring 9, and an inner connector 10.
The frame 4 constitutes an outer contour of the handrail tension body inspection device 3. For example, the outer shape of the frame body 4 is formed in a rectangular shape. The width of the rectangular shape is set to be equal to the width of the moving handrail 1.
One of the pair of rollers 5 is provided at a lower portion of one side of the frame 4 in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. The width of one of the pair of rollers 5 is set to be equal to the width of the moving handrail 1. The other of the pair of rollers 5 is provided at the lower portion of the other side of the frame 4 in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. The width of the other of the pair of rollers 5 is set to be equal to the width of the moving handrail 1.
The pair of magnetizers 6 are arranged side by side on the front surface side of the moving handrail 1 inside the frame 4. One of the pair of magnetizers 6 is adjacent to one of the pair of rollers 5 in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. The width of one of the pair of magnetizers 6 is set to be equal to the width of the moving handrail 1. The other of the pair of magnetizers 6 is adjacent to the other of the pair of rollers 5 in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. The width of the other of the pair of magnetizers 6 is set to be equal to the width of the moving handrail 1. Each of the pair of magnetizers 6 has a magnetizer-side magnet 6 a.
The magnetic sensor 7 is provided on the front surface side of the moving handrail 1 inside the housing 4. The magnetic sensor 7 is, for example, a leakage magnetic flux type sensor. The magnetic sensor 7 is disposed between the pair of moving armrests 1. The width of the magnetic sensor 7 is set to be equal to the width of the moving handrail 1. The magnetic sensor 7 includes a detection element 7a and a magnetic sensor side magnet 7 b.

The inner wiring 9 is provided inside the housing 4. One end of the inner wire 9 is electrically connected to an output portion of the detection element 7 a.
The inside connector 10 is provided on the outer surface of the housing 4. The inner connector 10 is electrically connected to the other end of the inner wire 9.
The external device 11 has a function of storing information. The external device 11 has a function of displaying information.
One end of the outer wire 12 is electrically connected to an input portion of the external device 11.
The external connector 13 is electrically connected to the other end of the external wiring 12. The outer connector 13 is mechanically and electrically detachable from the inner connector 10.
As shown in fig. 2, the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a are formed in a C-shape, respectively. For example, the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a are permanent magnets, respectively. In each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a, the S-pole is disposed on the side close to the magnetic sensor 7. The N-pole is disposed on the side away from the magnetic sensor 7. The end of the S pole and the end of the N pole are disposed so as to face each other along the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1.
The detection element 7a is disposed opposite to the moving handrail 1. The detection element 7a is, for example, a magnetoresistive element such as AMR, GMR or TMR. The detecting element 7a is, for example, a magnetic impedance element. The detection element 7a is, for example, a hall element. The detection element 7a is, for example, a pickup coil.
The magnetic sensor side magnet 7b is disposed above the detection element 7 a. For example, the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b are permanent magnets. In the magnetic sensor side magnet 7b, the end of the S pole is arranged to face upward. The end of the N-pole is disposed so as to face downward.
Next, a method of inspecting the tensile member 2 of the moving handrail 1 will be described with reference to fig. 3 to 7.
Fig. 3 to 7 are longitudinal sectional views of a handrail tension check device of a passenger conveyor according to embodiment 1.
In fig. 3, an arrow a indicates the magnetization direction of the tensile member 2. Arrow B indicates the direction of the magnetic field generated by the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6 a. Arrow C indicates the direction of the magnetic field generated by the magnetic sensor side magnet 7 b. The magnetic field of the magnetic sensor side magnet 7b is adjusted so as not to affect the normal tension member 2.
The tensile member 2 is not magnetized on the left side of the handrail tensile member inspection device 3. Therefore, the magnetization direction is not uniform inside the tension body 2, including the broken wire rod 2 a.
As shown in fig. 4, when the armrest tensile member inspection apparatus 3 moves to the left, the broken wire 2a is magnetized in the right direction by the magnetic field of one of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6 a. As a result, the magnetization directions of the broken wires 2a are aligned.
As shown in fig. 5, when the handrail tension member inspection device 3 further moves to the left, the magnetization direction of the broken wire 2a is maintained in a uniform state.
As shown in fig. 6, when the handrail tension member inspection device 3 further moves to the left, the broken wire 2a is reversed by the magnetic field of the magnetic sensor side magnet 7 b. At this time, the detection element 7a detects the variation of the magnetic field.
As shown in fig. 7, when the handrail tension member inspection device 3 further moves to the left, the broken wire 2a is again reversed by the magnetic field of the magnetic sensor side magnet 7 b. At this time, the detection element 7a detects the variation of the magnetic field.
Although not shown, information of the detection result of the detection element 7a is stored in the external device 11. This information is displayed on the external device 11 as needed.
When the armrest tensile member inspection apparatus 3 moves to the right, the broken wire rod 2a is magnetized in the left direction by the magnetic field of the other of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6 a. As a result, the magnetization directions of the broken wires 2a are aligned. Then, the detecting element 7a detects the change in the magnetic field similarly to when the handrail tension body inspection device 3 moves to the right side.
According to embodiment 1 described above, the magnetic sensor 7 magnetizes the wire rod 2a magnetized by the magnetizer 6 in a direction opposite to the magnetization direction of the magnetizer 6, and detects the variation of the magnetic field. The magnetic field at this time fluctuates greatly. Therefore, the breakage of the wire member 2a in the tension body 2 can be detected more reliably.
In addition, only one of the pair of magnetizers 6 may be provided. In this case, if the direction and the moving direction of the handrail tension inspection device 3 are accurately set, the breakage of the wire 2a in the tension body 2 can be more reliably detected.
In contrast, if a pair of magnetizers 6 is provided as in embodiment 1, it is possible to more reliably detect the breakage of the wire 2a in the stretch member 2 without having to pay attention to the orientation and moving direction of the handrail stretch member inspection device 3.
In addition, the N-poles and S-poles of all the magnets in the device may be changed.
Next, a 1 st modification of the magnetic sensor 7 will be described with reference to fig. 8.
Fig. 8 is a longitudinal sectional view of a 1 st modification of a magnetic sensor used in a handrail tension check device of a passenger conveyor according to embodiment 1.
As shown in fig. 8, the magnetic sensor 7 includes a detection element 7a and a pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7 b.
The detection element 7a is arranged to be able to detect a magnetic field.
One of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b is disposed above the detection element 7 a. In one of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b, the end of the S pole is arranged to face upward. The end of the N-pole is disposed so as to face downward.
The other of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b is disposed above the other side of the detection element 7 a. The other of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b is provided in parallel with one of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. In the other of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b, the end of the S-pole is arranged to face upward. The end of the N-pole is disposed so as to face downward.
In this case, the magnetic force is more likely to reach a distance directly below the magnetic sensor 7. Therefore, the magnetic force can be applied to the broken wire 2a located deep in the moving handrail 1. As a result, the breakage of the wire 2a in the tension body 2 can be detected more reliably.
Next, a 2 nd modification of the magnetic sensor 7 will be described with reference to fig. 9.
Fig. 9 is a longitudinal sectional view of a 2 nd modification of the magnetic sensor used in the handrail tension check device of the passenger conveyor according to embodiment 1.
As shown in fig. 9, the magnetic sensor 7 includes a detection element 7a and a pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7 b.
The detection element 7a is arranged to be able to detect a magnetic field.
One of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b is provided above the detection element 7a at a position apart from the detection element 7a in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. In the magnetic sensor side magnet 7b, the end of the N-pole is arranged to face upward. The end of the S-pole is disposed to face downward.
The other of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b is provided above the detection element 7a at a position apart from the other side of the detection element 7a in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. The other of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b is provided in parallel with one of the pair of magnetic sensor side magnets 7b in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. In the magnetic sensor side magnet 7b, the end of the S pole is arranged to face upward. The end of the N-pole is disposed so as to face downward.
Embodiment 2.
Fig. 10 is a longitudinal sectional view of a handrail tension check device of a passenger conveyor according to embodiment 2. The same or corresponding portions as those in embodiment 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals. The description of this part is omitted.
In embodiment 2, each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a is formed in a U-shape. In each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a, the S-pole is disposed on the side close to the magnetic sensor 7. The N-pole is disposed on the side away from the magnetic sensor 7. The end of the S pole and the end of the N pole are disposed toward the moving handrail 1.
According to embodiment 2 described above, in each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a, the end of the S pole and the end of the N pole are disposed so as to face the moving handrail 1 side. Therefore, each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a can be easily manufactured.
However, in each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a, the magnetic field increases outward. Therefore, the handrail tension inspection apparatus 3 according to embodiment 2 can be applied to a case where the coercive force of the tension 2 and the wire 2a is larger than the outer magnetic field.
Next, a modification of the magnetizer 6 will be described with reference to fig. 11.
Fig. 11 is a longitudinal sectional view of a modification of the magnetizer used in the handrail tension body inspection device of the passenger conveyor according to embodiment 2.
In the magnetizer 6 of fig. 11, the magnetizer side magnet 6a includes a pair of magnetizer side magnet portions 14a and yoke portions 14 b.
One of the pair of magnetizer-side magnet portions 14a is formed in a rectangular shape. In one of the pair of magnetizer-side magnet portions 14a, an end of the S pole is disposed to face upward. The end of the N-pole is disposed so as to face downward.
The other of the pair of magnetizer-side magnet portions 14a is formed in a rectangular shape. In the other of the pair of magnetizer-side magnet portions 14a, the end of the S pole is disposed so as to face downward. The end of the N-pole is disposed so as to face upward.
The yoke portion 14b is a soft magnetic body. The yoke portion 14b is formed in a rectangular shape. The yoke portion 14b is disposed above the pair of magnetizer-side magnet portions 14 a. One side of the yoke portion 14b is connected to the S-pole of one of the pair of magnetizer-side magnet portions 14 a. The other side of the yoke portion 14b is connected to the N-pole of the other of the pair of magnetizer-side magnet portions 14 a.
At this time, the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a are each manufactured by the pair of rectangular magnetizer-side magnet portions 14a and the rectangular yoke portions 14 b. Therefore, each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a can be manufactured more easily.
Embodiment 3.
Fig. 12 is a longitudinal sectional view of a handrail tension check device of a passenger conveyor according to embodiment 3. The same or corresponding portions as those in embodiment 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals. The description of this part is omitted.
In embodiment 3, each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a is formed in a rectangular shape. In each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a, an end of the S pole is arranged to face upward. The end of the N-pole is disposed so as to face downward.
According to embodiment 3 described above, each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a is formed in a rectangular shape. Therefore, each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a can be manufactured more easily.
However, the magnetic fields of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a do not form a closed loop. Therefore, the handrail tension body inspection device 3 according to embodiment 3 can be applied to the case where there is no magnetic body that interferes with the peripheries of the pair of magnetizer side magnets 6 a.
Next, a modification of the magnetizer 6 will be described with reference to fig. 13.
Fig. 13 is a longitudinal sectional view of a modification of the magnetizer used in the handrail tension body inspection device of the passenger conveyor according to embodiment 3.
As shown in fig. 13, in each of the pair of magnetizers 6, the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a are formed in a rectangular shape, respectively. In each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a, an end of the S pole is disposed toward the magnetic sensor 7 side in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1. The end of the N pole is disposed so as to face the opposite side of the magnetic sensor 7 in the longitudinal direction of the moving handrail 1.
In this case, each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a is also formed in a rectangular shape. Therefore, each of the pair of magnetizer-side magnets 6a can be manufactured more easily.
Embodiment 4.
Fig. 14 is a longitudinal sectional view of a handrail tension check device of a passenger conveyor according to embodiment 4. The same or corresponding portions as those in embodiment 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals. The description of this part is omitted.
In the handrail tension body inspection apparatus 3 according to embodiment 4, the magnetizer 6 is disposed so that the end of the S pole and the end of the N pole of the magnetizer-side magnet 6a face the moving handrail 1. The magnetic sensor 7 is disposed between the S pole and the N pole of the magnetizer 6.
According to embodiment 4 described above, only one magnetizer 6 may be used. Therefore, the breakage of the wire member 2a in the tension body 2 can be detected more reliably with a simple configuration.
The time during which the magnetic force of the magnetizer 6 is applied to the stretch resistant body 2 is longer than those of embodiments 1 to 3. Therefore, the direction of magnetization can be fixed even for the tensile member 2 having a small coercive force.
In embodiments 1 to 4, a plurality of detection elements 7a may be provided so as to face a plurality of tension bodies 2, respectively. In this case, it is possible to determine which of the plurality of tension bodies 2 the wire 2a is broken.
In embodiments 1 to 4, the handrail tension body inspection device 3 may be fixed and the moving handrail 1 may be moved. In this case, the breakage of the wire member 2a in the tension body 2 can be more reliably detected.
In embodiments 1 to 4, the curved portion of the moving handrail 1 may be checked at the upper portion or the lower portion of the passenger conveyor. In this case, the inspection can be easily performed in a state in which the wobbling of the moving handrail 1 is suppressed.
In embodiments 1 to 4, each of the pair of magnetizers 6 may be formed of a soft magnetic material such as iron, an electromagnetic steel plate, or permalloy, and a magnet.
In embodiments 1 to 4, each of the pair of magnetizers 6 may be configured by an electromagnet.
In the pair of magnetizer-side magnet 6a and magnetic sensor-side magnet 7b according to embodiments 1 to 4, the S-pole and the N-pole may be reversed.
The handrail tension body inspection device 3 according to embodiments 1 to 4 may be provided inside a passenger conveyor. In this case, the work of the worker may not be necessary.
