Door (100) for household appliances according to claim 1, characterized in that the mounting portion (22) comprises a first surface (23) facing the front panel (1) and a second surface (24), the first surface (23) being in direct contact with the front panel (1), the second surface (24) and the front panel (1) having first adhesive means (6) therebetween.
11. Door (100) for household appliances according to claim 10, characterized in that the first surface (23) is associated with an end face of the decorative portion (21), wherein the end face of the decorative portion (21) is in face-to-face contact with the end face of the front panel (1).
12. The door (100) for electric home appliances according to claim 1, wherein the mounting portion (22) includes a third surface (25) facing the rear side, a fourth surface (26), and a connecting surface (27) connecting the third surface (25) and the fourth surface (26), the end cap (3) includes an engaging portion (33) parallel to the front panel (1), a front surface of the engaging portion (33) and the third surface (25) are in face-to-face contact, and a distal end face of the engaging portion (33) is in face-to-face contact with the connecting surface (27).
13. The door (100) for electric home appliances according to claim 1, further comprising a front plate (4), the front panel (1) covering a front side of the front plate (4), the front plate (4) having a mounting hole (41), the mounting portion (22) protruding to a rear side of the front panel (1) through the mounting hole (41).
14. The door (100) for household appliances according to claim 13, wherein the mounting portion (22) includes a connecting portion (28) located inside the mounting hole (41) and abutting against an inner edge of the mounting hole (41).
15. The door (100) for electric household appliances according to claim 1, further comprising an insulating layer (5) formed by foaming between the front plate (4) and the end cap (3), the mounting portion (22) being in contact with the insulating layer (5).
16. A panel assembly comprising a front panel (1) and a trim strip (2), characterised in that the trim strip (2) comprises a decorative portion (21) extending along at least one edge of the front panel (1) and exposed to a front portion of the front panel (1) and a mounting portion (22) located at least partially behind the front panel (1).
17. The panel unit according to claim 16, characterised in that the mounting portion (22) is glued to the rear surface of the front panel (1).
18. A panel assembly according to claim 16, wherein the mounting portion (22) comprises a first surface (23) and a second surface (24) facing the front panel (1), the first surface (23) being in direct contact with the connecting front panel (1), the second surface (24) and the front panel (1) having first adhesive means (6) therebetween.
19. A household appliance comprising a door (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 15.
20. A domestic appliance comprising a panel assembly as claimed in any one of claims 16 to 18.
