Abstract
The invention relates to a novel low-cost high-efficiency integral stopper rod head die. Comprises a mould body, a gland, a rubber cap and a rubber pad; the top end of the die body is provided with an accommodating cavity, and the accommodating cavity is matched with the gland and the rubber cap; the bottom of the rubber cap is provided with a bowl-shaped concave cavity which is matched with the stopper rod head; a feeding port is arranged at the center of the top of the rubber cap; a rubber pad is arranged on the injection port and is matched with the injection port; the top of the rubber cap and the rubber cushion is provided with a gland. Compared with the prior art, the invention reduces the cost of raw materials, and the saved mud can be directly used for manufacturing a new stopper rod; the processing cost is reduced, the shape of the rod head can meet the final shape requirement only by slightly polishing, and the turning working time is reduced; the production efficiency is improved, turning is not needed, only slight polishing is needed, and the production efficiency is obviously improved.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of continuous casting functional refractory materials, and particularly relates to a low-cost high-efficiency integral stopper rod head die.
Background
The stopper rod mainly plays a role in controlling the flow of molten steel when used in a continuous casting section of a steel mill, and realizes the functions of casting, flow rate control and flow blockage through the matching with a tundish nozzle. The stopper rod head shape plays a critical role in the stopper rod's function. The shape control of the stopper rod head is strict. In order to avoid the problems of incomplete arc or non-conforming shape of the stopper rod head, the stopper rod head size is usually enlarged during the stopper rod production process, and the stopper rod head is turned to the required shape and size by machining. The traditional stopper rod head design scheme has the problems of large turning amount, more raw material waste and low production efficiency in the machining process in actual production.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a novel low-cost high-efficiency integral stopper rod head die, which is mainly improved in the aspect of die design, and redundant raw materials in production of each stopper rod are replaced by designing a reusable rubber cap, so that turning is reduced and raw materials are saved; the produced stopper rod can reach the required shape and size only by slightly polishing the head part of the stopper rod, thereby effectively solving the problems and improving the production efficiency.
In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme of the invention is as follows: the novel low-cost high-efficiency integral stopper rod head die comprises a die body and a gland; also comprises a rubber cap and a rubber pad; the top end of the die body is provided with an accommodating cavity, and the accommodating cavity is matched with the gland and the rubber cap; the bottom of the rubber cap is provided with a bowl-shaped concave cavity which is matched with the stopper rod head; a feeding port is arranged at the center of the top of the rubber cap; a rubber pad is arranged on the injection port and is matched with the injection port; and the tops of the rubber cap and the rubber pad are provided with a gland.
Further, the gland comprises a pressing part and a limiting part; the pressing part and the limiting part are of coaxial cylindrical structures, and the diameter of the pressing part is smaller than that of the limiting part; the pressing part is matched with the accommodating cavity.
Further, the rubber pad is a conical round table or a cylinder; one side of the rubber cushion facing the rubber cap is provided with a bowl-shaped cambered surface, and the bowl-shaped cambered surface is matched with the stopper rod head.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages:
firstly, the raw material cost is reduced, and the saved pug can be directly used for manufacturing a new stopper rod;
secondly, the processing cost is reduced, the shape of the rod head can meet the final shape requirement only by slightly polishing, and the turning working hour is reduced;
and thirdly, the production efficiency is improved, turning is not needed, only slight polishing is needed, and the production efficiency is obviously improved.

To achieve the above objects and advantages, the present invention provides a technical means and a structure thereof, which are described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to the attached drawings, the novel low-cost high-efficiency integral stopper rod head die comprises a die body 5, a gland 1, a rubber cap 3 and a rubber pad 2; the top end of the die body 5 is provided with an accommodating cavity 51, and the accommodating cavity 51 is matched with the gland 1 and the rubber cap 3; the bottom of the rubber cap 3 is provided with a bowl-shaped concave cavity 32, and the bowl-shaped concave cavity 32 is matched with the stopper rod head 4; a feeding port 31 is arranged at the center of the top of the rubber cap 3; the injection port 31 is provided with a rubber pad 2, and the rubber pad 2 is matched with the injection port 31; and a gland 1 is arranged at the tops of the rubber cap 3 and the rubber pad 2.
The gland 1 comprises a pressing part 12 and a limiting part 11; the pressing part 12 and the limiting part 11 are of a coaxial cylindrical structure, and the diameter of the pressing part 12 is smaller than that of the limiting part 11; the press-fit portion 12 is fitted into the accommodating chamber 51.
The rubber pad 2 is a conical round table or a cylinder; one side of the rubber cushion 2 facing the rubber cap 3 is provided with a bowl-shaped cambered surface 21, and the bowl-shaped cambered surface 21 is matched with the stopper rod head 4. The design of the bowl-shaped cambered surface 21 is convenient to be closer to the final shape of the product. The diameter of the rubber cushion 2 is designed according to the injection port 31 at the top of the rubber cap 3, and the top of the rubber cushion is flush with the top of the rubber cap 3 after installation. The purpose of the rubber mat 2 is to avoid that the mud bounces back upwards from the injection opening 31, affecting the shape of the stopper rod head 4.
Preferably, the whole thickness of the gland 1 is 5-40 mm; the thickness of the rubber cushion 2 is 5-30 mm; the thickness of the rubber cap 3 is 5-100 mm.
When the stopper rod head is formed, firstly, the rubber cap 3 is placed in the accommodating cavity 51 of the die body 5, and a rod head raw material is added through the injection port 31 at the top of the rubber cap 3; then the rubber pad 2 is used for sealing the injection port 31 at the top of the rubber cap 3; then the gland 1 is placed into the containing cavity 51 of the mould body and is pressed tightly and compacted; and finally, the gland 1 and the die body 5 are bound firmly by adopting a sealing ring.

A novel low-cost high-efficiency integral stopper rod head die comprises a die body and a gland; it is characterized by also comprising a rubber cap and a rubber pad; the top end of the die body is provided with an accommodating cavity, and the accommodating cavity is matched with the gland and the rubber cap; the bottom of the rubber cap is provided with a bowl-shaped concave cavity which is matched with the stopper rod head; a feeding port is arranged at the center of the top of the rubber cap; a rubber pad is arranged on the injection port and is matched with the injection port; and the tops of the rubber cap and the rubber pad are provided with a gland.

The novel low-cost high-efficiency integral stopper rod head die as claimed in claim 1, wherein the gland comprises a pressing part and a limiting part; the pressing part and the limiting part are of coaxial cylindrical structures, and the diameter of the pressing part is smaller than that of the limiting part; the pressing part is matched with the accommodating cavity.
