Technical Field

Background
In the course of research and practice on the prior art, the inventors of the present application found that a conventional touch panel with a peep-proof function is generally formed by stacking a display panel and a peep-proof structure that are independent of each other. The externally-hung scheme is structurally complex and thick.

The embodiment of the application provides a liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display device, which can simplify and lighten a touch panel with an anti-peeping function.
The embodiment of the application provides a liquid crystal display panel, which comprises a first liquid crystal box and a second liquid crystal box, wherein the first liquid crystal box is arranged on the second liquid crystal box, and the first liquid crystal box comprises a first substrate, a first liquid crystal layer and a second substrate which are sequentially arranged; the second liquid crystal box comprises a third substrate, a second liquid crystal layer and the first substrate which are sequentially arranged, and the first substrate is a shared substrate of the first liquid crystal box and the second liquid crystal box;
the second substrate includes:
a second substrate including a first side and a second side disposed opposite to each other, the second side facing the first liquid crystal layer;
a touch electrode formed on the first face; and
a first control electrode formed on the second face.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the second substrate further includes a color film layer disposed on a side of the first control electrode facing the first liquid crystal layer.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the first substrate includes:
a first substrate including third and fourth faces oppositely disposed, the third face facing the first liquid crystal layer;
a second control electrode formed on the third face;
a common electrode formed on the fourth face; and
a first alignment layer formed on a side of the common electrode facing the second liquid crystal layer.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the third substrate includes:
a third substrate;
a pixel electrode formed on a side of the third substrate facing the second liquid crystal layer;
a second alignment layer formed on the pixel electrode.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the first control electrode and the second control electrode are each a planar electrode.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the first control electrode and the second control electrode are made of ito.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the first control electrode and the second control electrode are connected to an alternating voltage; the pixel electrode is connected with a direct current voltage.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, a material of the first liquid crystal layer is polymer dispersed liquid crystal, and a material of the second liquid crystal layer is nematic liquid crystal.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the liquid crystal display panel further includes a first polarizer, a second polarizer, a cover plate, and an anti-glare film;
the first polarizer is arranged on the first liquid crystal box, and the second polarizer is arranged on one side of the second liquid crystal box, which faces away from the first liquid crystal box; the cover plate is arranged on the first polarizer, and the anti-glare film is arranged on the cover plate.

The first polarizer 31 is arranged on the side of the second liquid crystal cell 20 facing away from the first liquid crystal cell 10. A protective layer 32 is disposed on the first liquid crystal cell 10. The second polarizer 33 is disposed on the protective layer 32. The cover plate 34 is disposed on the second polarizer 33. The antiglare film 35 is provided on the cover plate 34.
Wherein, in the energized state, the viewing angle of the second liquid crystal cell 20 is larger than the viewing angle of the first liquid crystal cell 10. The first liquid crystal cell 10 is mainly used to adjust the viewing angle of the second liquid crystal cell 20.
For example, when the second liquid crystal cell 20 is powered on, the brightness viewing angle of the second liquid crystal cell 20 is ± 40 degrees. When the first liquid crystal box 10 is powered on, the brightness visual angle of the first liquid crystal box 10 is +/-25 degrees; when the first liquid crystal cell 10 is powered off, the first liquid crystal cell 10 can scatter the display light of the second liquid crystal cell 20 without limiting the viewing angle of the second liquid crystal cell 20. That is, when the first liquid crystal cell 10 and the second liquid crystal cell 20 are both powered on, the viewing angle of the liquid crystal display panel 100 is ± 25 degrees, which is the viewing angle of the first liquid crystal cell 10, so as to achieve the anti-peeping effect; when the first liquid crystal cell 10 is powered off and the second liquid crystal cell 20 is powered on, the viewing angle of the liquid crystal display panel 100 is ± 40 degrees.
Therefore, the liquid crystal display panel 100 of the present embodiment adjusts the viewing angle of the second liquid crystal cell 20 by turning on or off the first liquid crystal cell 10, thereby achieving the anti-peeping effect.
The first liquid crystal cell 10 includes a first substrate 11, a first liquid crystal layer 12, and a second substrate 13, which are sequentially disposed. The second liquid crystal cell 20 includes a third substrate 14, a second liquid crystal layer 15, and a first substrate 11, which are sequentially disposed. The first substrate 11 is a common substrate for the first liquid crystal cell 10 and the second liquid crystal cell 20.
The second substrate 13 includes a second substrate 131, a touch electrode 132, a first control electrode 133, and a color film layer 134.
The second substrate 131 includes a first face 13a and a second face 13b disposed opposite to each other. The second surface 13b faces the first liquid crystal layer 12. The touch electrode 132 is formed on the first surface 13 a. The first control electrode 133 is formed on the second face 13 b. The color film layer 134 is disposed on a side of the first control electrode 133 facing the first liquid crystal layer 12.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the first liquid crystal cell 10 and the second liquid crystal cell 20 share the first substrate 11, and the touch electrode 132 and the first control electrode 133 are formed on the second substrate 131 by using a double-sided process, so as to achieve the effect of simplifying, thinning and preventing peeping the touch panel.
In addition, the color film layer 134 includes a red color resist, a green color resist, and a blue color resist, and a black matrix. The color film layer 134 is used to control the display of color.
The color film layer 134 is disposed on the second substrate 13, i.e. above the first liquid crystal layer 12, so that distortion and blurring of the display image of the liquid crystal display panel 100 at a wide viewing angle can be avoided. Since if the color film layer 134 is disposed on the side of the first liquid crystal layer 12 opposite to the display surface, the pixel has already been imaged when the first liquid crystal cell 10 is powered off and the second liquid crystal cell 20 is powered on, and when the pixel passes through the first liquid crystal cell 10, the image will be scattered by the first liquid crystal cell 10, so that the image will be distorted and blurred.
In the liquid crystal display panel 100 of the present embodiment, the first substrate 11 includes a first base 111, a second control electrode 112, a common electrode 113, and a first alignment layer 114.
The first substrate 111 includes a third face 11a and a fourth face 11b disposed opposite to each other. The third surface 11a faces the first liquid crystal layer 12. Optionally, the material of the first Liquid Crystal layer 12 is Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC).
In the first liquid crystal cell 10, when turned off, display light is scattered by using the scattering property of the first liquid crystal layer 12; when the first liquid crystal layer 12 is powered on, the first liquid crystal layer is affected by the electric field generated by the first control electrode 133 and the second control electrode 112 to be regularly arranged, so that the viewing angle of the light emitting lines of the second liquid crystal cell 20 is restricted, and the anti-peeping effect is achieved.
Optionally, the first control electrode 133 and the second control electrode 112 are respectively planar electrodes to improve the regularity of the liquid crystal arrangement in the first liquid crystal layer 12, that is, to improve the orientation uniformity of the liquid crystal.
Optionally, the first control electrode 133 and the second control electrode 112 are made of ito or other conductive materials.
In the liquid crystal display panel 100 of the present embodiment, the first control electrode 123 and the second control electrode 112 can be electrically connected by the conductive sealant disposed between the first substrate 11 and the second substrate 13.

In the second liquid crystal cell 20, the material of the second liquid crystal layer 15 is optionally nematic liquid crystal.
Optionally, the first control electrode 133 and the second control electrode 112 are connected to an ac voltage. The pixel electrode 142 receives a dc voltage. That is, the first liquid crystal cell 10 is driven by an ac voltage signal to generate an electric field. The second cell 20 is driven by a dc voltage signal to generate an electric field. This is arranged to reduce the risk of the first and second liquid crystal cells 10, 20 interfering with each other during operation.

3. The liquid crystal display panel according to claim 2, wherein the first substrate comprises:

a second control electrode formed on the third face;
a common electrode formed on the fourth face; and
a first alignment layer formed on a side of the common electrode facing the second liquid crystal layer.
4. The liquid crystal display panel according to claim 3, wherein the third substrate comprises:
a third substrate;
a pixel electrode formed on a side of the third substrate facing the second liquid crystal layer;
a second alignment layer formed on the pixel electrode.
5. The liquid crystal display panel according to claim 3, wherein the first control electrode and the second control electrode are surface electrodes, respectively.
6. The liquid crystal display panel of claim 3, wherein the first control electrode and the second control electrode are made of ITO.
7. The liquid crystal display panel according to claim 4, wherein the first control electrode and the second control electrode are connected to an alternating voltage; the pixel electrode is connected with a direct current voltage.
8. The liquid crystal display panel according to claim 1, wherein the material of the first liquid crystal layer is polymer dispersed liquid crystal, and the material of the second liquid crystal layer is nematic liquid crystal.
9. The liquid crystal display panel according to claim 1, further comprising a first polarizing plate, a second polarizing plate, a cover plate, and an antiglare film;
