Abstract
The invention relates to the field of water-based paint, in particular to castor oil modified emulsion for improving the directionality of silver powder of water-based silver powder paint and a preparation method thereof. The castor oil modified emulsion comprises, by weight, 7-20 parts of castor oil modified emulsifier, 27-63 parts of vinyl monomer, 131-158 parts of deionized water, 0.3-0.9 part of initiator, 0.2-0.4 part of pH buffer and 0.5-13 parts of neutralizer. According to the castor oil modified emulsion for improving the directionality of the silver powder of the water-based silver powder coating and the preparation method thereof, provided by the invention, the castor oil which is an environment-friendly resource is used as a starting raw material, renewable resources are effectively utilized, an effective way for solving the energy crisis is provided, the silver powder orientation effect of the water-based silver powder coating is effectively improved, the use of expensive silver powder arrangement auxiliaries is avoided, and the production cost is saved.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of water-based paint, in particular to castor oil modified emulsion for improving the directionality of silver powder of water-based silver powder paint and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The directional arrangement of the water-based silver powder is a big problem in the global industry, the silver powder flashing paint has a special decorative effect, is more and more widely applied, plays a role in the color of the automobile paint, and can be used for machine tools, television housings, VCD housings, mobile phone shells and the like, even wall decoration. The silver powder has a problem of arrangement in the coating due to its flake structure, and if the arrangement of the silver powder is not well controlled, the color cannot meet the requirements, and the silver powder is not easy to construct and is easy to flower, and finally the decorative effect is influenced. The invention aims to solve the defects of the prior art, and provides the castor oil modified emulsion for improving the silver powder directionality of the water-based silver powder coating, when the castor oil modified emulsion is used for the water-based silver powder coating, the triglyceride structure of castor oil obviously inhibits the shrinkage of a coating film in the coating film curing process, the castor oil modified emulsion plays a good role in directional arrangement of silver powder, the problems of easy blooming and blushing of the water-based silver powder coating caused by poor orientation are solved, meanwhile, the emulsion brings the silver powder directional effect, the silver powder arrangement auxiliary agent with high cost is not required to be used, and the castor oil modified emulsion plays a good role in cost control.
In order to achieve the purpose, the castor oil modified emulsion for improving the directionality of the silver powder of the water-based silver powder coating comprises 7 to 20 parts of castor oil modified emulsifying agent, 27 to 63 parts of vinyl monomer, 131-158 parts of deionized water, 0.3 to 0.9 part of initiator, 0.2 to 0.4 part of pH buffering agent and 0.5 to 13 parts of neutralizing agent in percentage by weight.
Further, the castor oil modified emulsifier comprises 93-111 parts by weight of castor oil, 44-53 parts by weight of mercaptosuccinic acid, 50-100 parts by weight of dichloromethane and 0.5-1 part by weight of photoinitiator.
Further, the vinyl monomer includes 14 to 32 parts of a vinyl monomer or a vinyl aromatic compound not including a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group, 12 to 21 parts of a vinyl monomer including a hydroxyl group, and 1 to 10 parts of a vinyl monomer including a carboxyl group.
In another aspect of the present invention, a method for preparing the above castor oil modified emulsion is provided, which comprises the following steps:
s1, carrying out emulsion polymerization on a castor oil modified emulsifier and a vinyl monomer
S2, carrying out sulfydryl-alkene click reaction, and removing dichloromethane in vacuum;
and S3, neutralizing by using a neutralizing agent to obtain the castor oil modified emulsion.

Further, the vinyl monomer or vinyl aromatic compound not containing carboxyl or hydroxyl is a mixture of three or more of styrene, methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, isooctyl acrylate, methyl acrylate and ethyl acrylate.
Further, the vinyl monomer containing hydroxyl is one or a mixture of more than one of hydroxyethyl methacrylate, hydroxyethyl acrylate, hydroxypropyl methacrylate and hydroxypropyl acrylate.
Further, the vinyl monomer containing carboxyl is one or a mixture of more than one of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid.
Further, the initiator is ammonium persulfate; the pH buffering agent is sodium bicarbonate; the neutralizer is ammonia water.
Advantageous effects of the invention
The castor oil modified emulsion for improving the directionality of the silver powder of the water-based silver powder coating and the preparation method thereof have the advantages that:
1. the castor oil modified emulsion for improving the directionality of the silver powder of the water-based silver powder coating adopts environment-friendly castor oil as a starting material, effectively utilizes renewable resources and provides an effective way for solving the energy crisis;

The castor oil modified emulsion for improving the orientation of silver powder in an aqueous silver powder coating of claim 1, wherein the castor oil modified emulsifier comprises 93 to 111 parts by weight of castor oil, 44 to 53 parts by weight of mercaptosuccinic acid, 50 to 100 parts by weight of dichloromethane, and 0.5 to 1 part by weight of photoinitiator.

The castor oil-modified emulsion for improving the orientation of silver powder for an aqueous silver powder coating of claim 1, wherein the vinyl-based monomer comprises 14 to 32 parts of a vinyl monomer or a vinyl aromatic compound having no carboxyl group or hydroxyl group, 12 to 21 parts of a vinyl monomer having hydroxyl group, and 1 to 10 parts of a vinyl monomer having carboxyl group.
4. A preparation method of the castor oil modified emulsion for improving the directionality of the silver powder of the water-based silver powder coating is characterized by comprising the following steps of:
s1, emulsion polymerization is carried out on the castor oil modified emulsifier and the vinyl monomer;
s2, carrying out mercapto-alkene click reaction, and removing dichloromethane in vacuum;

8. The method of claim 5, wherein the hydroxyl-containing vinyl monomer is one or more of hydroxyethyl methacrylate, hydroxyethyl acrylate, hydroxypropyl methacrylate, and hydroxypropyl acrylate.
9. The method of claim 5, wherein the vinyl monomer containing carboxyl groups is one or more of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and mixtures thereof.
10. A method of preparing a castor oil-modified emulsion according to claim 5 wherein the initiator is ammonium persulfate; the pH buffering agent is sodium bicarbonate; the neutralizer is ammonia water.
