Description

Network-free SIM card opening method, terminal equipment and operator server
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a network-free SIM card opening method, terminal equipment and an operator server.
Background
With the technology of TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) becoming mature day by day, the vSIM (virtual SIM) technology based on the TEE scheme of the processor chip gradually becomes a scheme of replacing a physical SIM (Identity authentication Module) card, which is optional in the telecommunication field except for an eSIM (embedded SIM), with the advantages of no need of an independent security chip, low cost, convenience for expansion and the like while meeting the security requirement. In the vSIM technical scheme, a user can directly carry out network account opening and resource downloading of an operator without using a physical SIM card or adding a special eSIM patch card in terminal equipment, so that the SIM card is opened to use wireless network service provided by the operator, the manufacturing cost is saved for terminal equipment manufacturers, and the convenience of opening the SIM card by common consumers and enterprise users is also improved. Meanwhile, the vSIM scheme realized based on the TEE technology can also be realized by fully utilizing the existing hardware equipment with the TEE function, so that the technical application threshold is reduced, and the investment cost is reduced. For example, many terminal devices have built-in TEE functions in their chips, and these terminal devices can support the vSIM by software upgrade without requiring users to purchase new terminal devices. When the terminal device opens the SIM card, a corresponding profile needs to be obtained, where the profile refers to a collection of code number resources and corresponding data, file systems, applications, and the like. After a user purchases terminal equipment supporting vSIM, if the user wants to download the profile required by the vSIM through local operation, the terminal equipment must be accessed to a network, and a feasible scheme is to realize profile downloading through a wifi access network, but wifi does not exist in many scenes, so that a scheme for downloading operator profile by the terminal equipment under the condition of no network is required.
Currently, the vSIM is mainly used for international traffic resale, such as Hua is an interplanetary communication scheme, an OPPO international internet access scheme and the like. In some schemes, packages are purchased and profiles are downloaded through an own APP before a user leaves a country under the condition of a network, and the profiles contained in the packages are directly started after the user arrives overseas, so that the scheme needs to purchase packages and download profiles in advance, is complicated, and can also face the situation of no network availability when the user arrives overseas and forgets to purchase packages in advance; in some schemes, a seed number of a specific operator is built in an own APP, when a user arrives overseas and a physical SIM card cannot surf the internet, the APP starts the built-in seed number to access a website of the specific operator to purchase a package, and downloads and starts a profile after the package purchase is completed, wherein the scheme can only download the profile of the specific operator. The above solutions are all for reselling international traffic, and it is impossible for the terminal device to select a local operator and directly download the profile of the operator without a network.
Whereas for esims, the provisioning of their SIM card is mainly dominated by the operator. The eSIM scheme adopted by the current operator is mainly an eSIM scheme recommended by GSMA (Global Mobile Communications Association), and in this scheme, a user needs to obtain a two-dimensional code of an eSIM profile through a network or a local operator APP or a business hall of the local operator, and under the condition that a terminal device can access the network, for example, an existing SIM card of the terminal device is accessed into the wireless network, or the wireless network is accessed through wifi, and the two-dimensional code provided by the operator is scanned, so that the card opening process can be entered. In this case, if the terminal device of the user is newly purchased and there is no network at all, the download of the eSIM profile cannot be realized.

Thus, the various sequences in the specification and drawings are for the purpose of describing certain embodiments only and are not intended to imply a required sequence unless otherwise indicated where such sequence must be followed.
The numbering of the components as such, e.g., "first", "second", etc., is used herein only to distinguish the objects as described, and does not have any sequential or technical meaning. The term "connected" and "coupled" when used in this application, unless otherwise indicated, includes both direct and indirect connections (couplings).
In some prior art, for example, in an eSIM mobile phone released by apple, samsung, and the like, a flow of opening an SIM card is as shown in fig. 1, a terminal device needs to connect to a network, for example, a wifi network or an already opened operator data network, then scans a two-dimensional code provided by an operator, and handles a subscription account opening, so as to obtain a profile issued by the operator to implement opening the SIM card, where the two-dimensional code needs to be obtained through a network or a local operator APP or a local operator business hall. The mode is complicated and depends on the network, and when the user is in foreign countries, is not provided with the SIM card of the local operator, is unfamiliar with the environment and cannot find the wifi network, the situation that the SIM card cannot be provided is caused. Therefore, the applicant proposes a network-free SIM card opening method to realize the opening of the SIM card without a network.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a network-less card opening method for a SIM card in an embodiment, which is applied to a terminal device and includes steps S101 to S108, which are described in detail below.
Step S101: acquiring a currently available Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN), and generating a corresponding operator list according to the currently available PLMN. Specifically, a chip Operating system cos (chip Operating system) of the terminal device may perform signal detection to obtain a currently available PLMN.
Step S102: and establishing connection with the configuration server through a preset seed number preset in the terminal equipment. The terminal equipment is self-provided with an SIM card management APP provided by a terminal equipment manufacturer when leaving a factory, a preset seed number is built in the SIM card management APP, the preset seed number has cross-country roaming capability and can be directionally connected with a configuration server deployed by the terminal equipment manufacturer, and therefore the terminal equipment can be connected with the configuration server no matter where the terminal equipment is located in the whole world.
Step S103: the operator list obtained in step S101 is sent to the configuration server.
Step S104: and receiving a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and an Integrated Circuit Card Identifier (ICCID) number segment which are sent by the configuration server and correspond to the operator list, wherein different operators correspond to different ICCID number segments. It can be understood that the configuration server is preset with the ICCID number segment of each operator, different operators have different ICCID number segment pools, and the ICCID number segment can be selected from the corresponding operator ICCID number segment pool according to the operator list and sent to the terminal device, so that the terminal device obtains the ICCID number segment of each operator in the operator list.
Step S105: and the operator list obtained in the step S101 is presented to the user for selection, the operator selected by the user is obtained, an ICCID number is randomly selected from the ICCID number segment corresponding to the operator selected by the user to be used as a temporary ICCID number, and the temporary ICCID number is sent to the corresponding operator server according to the corresponding operator server URL. Since the ICCID number segments of the respective operators in the operator list transmitted by the configuration server have already been obtained in step S104, the available ICCID numbers can be made available regardless of which operator the user selects, thereby allowing the user to freely select an operator without being limited to a certain operator.
Step S106: and receiving the operator seed number which is sent by the operator server and corresponds to the temporary ICCID number. And the operator server receives the temporary ICCID number, then inquires the corresponding operator seed number and sends the operator seed number to the terminal equipment, and the operator seed number can establish initial connection with the operator server.
Step S107: and establishing connection with the operator server through the operator seed number, and sending a service signing request to the operator server so that the operator server issues profile according to the service signing request. After establishing connection with the operator server through the operator seed number, the user can select a required service or package and initiate a service signing request to the operator server, so that the operator server can issue a formal profile according to the service signing request.
Step S108: and receiving the profile sent by the operator server, installing the profile, and realizing the opening of the SIM card.
Referring to fig. 3, in another embodiment, the method for wireless provisioning of a SIM card further includes, before step S102, performing the following steps:
step S109: checking whether the terminal device has a SIM card, if not, executing step S110.
Step S110: and activating the preset seed number preset in the terminal equipment so as to facilitate the step S102 to establish connection with the configuration server through the preset seed number.
According to the embodiment, the preset seed number can be automatically activated when the terminal equipment does not have the SIM card so as to establish connection with the configuration server, so that user operation is reduced, and convenience is improved.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a network-less card opening method for a SIM card in another embodiment, which is applied to an operator server, and includes steps S201 to S204, which are described in detail below.
Step S201: and receiving the temporary ICCID number corresponding to the operator server and sent by the terminal equipment, wherein the temporary ICCID number is randomly selected from the ICCID number segment corresponding to the operator server by the terminal equipment. The terminal equipment establishes connection with the configuration server through a preset seed number preset in the terminal equipment, and after sending an operator list corresponding to a currently available public land mobile network to the configuration server, an ICCID number segment corresponding to the operator list sent by the configuration server is obtained, wherein the preset seed number has cross-country roaming capability and can establish directional connection with the configuration server.
Step S202: and sending the operator seed number corresponding to the temporary ICCID number to the terminal equipment. It can be understood that the operator server stores the operator seed number corresponding to the ICCID number of the operator, and when the temporary ICCID number sent by the terminal device is received, the operator seed number corresponding to the temporary ICCID number can be obtained through inquiry and sent to the terminal device. In some embodiments, the operator seed number may also be set with a default expiration time length.
The operator server may include a vSIM management platform and/or an SM-DP + platform (Subscription Manager Data Preparation +, Subscription management Data Preparation platform), and sends the operator seed number to the terminal device through the vSIM management platform or the SM-DP + platform, thereby adapting to different SIM card implementation schemes.
Step S203: and receiving a service subscription request sent by the terminal equipment. And after receiving the operator seed number, the terminal equipment establishes connection with the operator server through the operator seed number and sends a service signing request to the operator server.
Step S204: and issuing profile to the terminal equipment according to the service subscription request. Referring to fig. 5, in an embodiment, the step S204 includes the following steps:
step S214: and sending the received service signing request to the operator signing platform so that the operator signing platform completes user signing.
Step S224: and judging whether a signing success notice sent by the operator signing platform is received or not, and if so, executing step S234.
Step S234: and issuing the profile to the terminal equipment. In some embodiments, when receiving a successful subscription notification sent by the operator subscription platform, the operator seed number may also be invalidated, so as to prevent the terminal device from repeatedly using the operator seed number to acquire the profile multiple times.
Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 shows a complete flow of the terminal device obtaining the profile to open the card through the SIM card network-less card opening method in an embodiment of the present invention, which specifically includes steps 1 to 11, which are described in detail below.
Step 1: and the COS of the terminal equipment carries out signal detection to obtain the current available PLMN, and generates a corresponding operator list according to the current available PLMN.
Step 2: and (3) the terminal equipment establishes connection with a configuration server deployed by a terminal equipment manufacturer through a preset seed number preset in the terminal equipment, and sends the operator list obtained in the step (1) to the configuration server.
And step 3: and the configuration server sends operator server URL and ICCID number segments corresponding to the operator list to the terminal equipment, wherein different operators correspond to different ICCID number segments.
And 4, step 4: and the terminal equipment presents the operator list to the user for selection of the user, acquires the operator selected by the user, randomly selects an ICCID number from the ICCID number section corresponding to the operator selected by the user as a temporary ICCID number, and sends the temporary ICCID number to the corresponding operator server according to the URL of the corresponding operator server.
And 5: and the operator server sends the operator seed number corresponding to the temporary ICCID number to the terminal equipment.
Step 6: and after receiving the operator seed number sent by the operator server, the terminal equipment establishes connection with the operator server through the operator seed number and sends a service signing request to the operator server.
And 7: and the operator server sends the received service signing request to the operator signing platform.
And 8: and the operator signing platform completes service signing.
And step 9: and the operator signing platform sends a signing success notice to the operator server.
Step 10: and the operator server receives the successful signing notification sent by the operator signing platform and issues profile to the terminal equipment.
Step 11: and the terminal equipment receives the profile sent by the operator server, installs the profile and realizes the opening of the SIM card.
