The seed code number, namely Provisioning Profile, referred to in the application refers to a code number resource with global cellular mobile communication network connection capability, and is used for establishing initial connection for downloading card data when the eSIM card is opened. The service code number, i.e. Operational Profile, referred to in the present application refers to a code number resource for using data services, and can be downloaded through an initial connection established by a seed code number.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of an embodiment of an eSIM card provisioning method provided by the present invention, and is applied to a terminal device supporting an eSIM card. As shown in fig. 1, the method for opening an eSIM card provided in this embodiment may include:
s101, obtaining user order information.
When the user needs to go out and has a demand for surfing the internet abroad, the destination traffic package can be purchased through a webpage or a client in the terminal equipment in advance. After the payment is completed, the voucher of the corresponding order is obtained, which may be a two-dimensional code containing the user's order information, for example. The terminal equipment can acquire the user order information by scanning the two-dimensional code in a networking state. The terminal equipment can be networked through a cellular mobile communication network or a Wi-Fi network; the terminal device may scan the two-dimensional code through a Local Profile Assistant (LPA), or may scan the two-dimensional code through a scan function of another application program, where the LPA is a medium for interaction between the eSIM card and SM-DP +. The user order information may include at least an address of a request code number resource (SM-DP + address of platform) and an order number (Matching ID). The SM-DP + platform may determine the requested code number resource according to the Matching ID, and the requested code number resource is determined according to the traffic package purchased by the user.
S102, sending a seed code number downloading request to a subscription management data preparation SM-DP + platform, wherein the seed code number downloading request comprises user order information, so that the SM-DP + platform determines the seed code number of the terminal equipment according to the user order information.
After acquiring the user order information, the terminal equipment can directly send a seed code number downloading request to the SM-DP + platform; the user may also be provided with a selection interface for downloading the seed number, such as asking "download seed number" in the selection interface, and providing two options of "yes" and "no", when the user selects "yes", sending a seed number download request to the SM-DP + platform, and when the user selects "no", terminating the flow.
The terminal device sends a seed code number downloading request to the SM-DP + platform, wherein the seed code number downloading request can include user order information, so that the SM-DP + platform can determine the seed code number to be sent to the terminal device according to the user order information. For example, the traffic package purchased by the user may be determined according to the order number in the user order information, and the seed code number that may establish the initial connection with the network of at least one operator of the destination may be determined according to the destination of the traffic package. It can be understood that when the terminal device communicates with the SM-DP + platform, the terminal device may further carry identification information of the terminal device, so that the SM-DP + platform may associate the terminal device with a code number resource corresponding to the user order information. The identification information of the terminal device may be, for example, an Embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card identification (EID), which is a physical identification of the eSIM Card, or an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) of the terminal device.
S103, receiving a seed code number sent by the SM-DP + platform, and writing the seed code number into an eSIM card of the terminal equipment, wherein the seed code number is used for establishing initial connection with a network of at least one operator of a destination.
After receiving the seed code number sent by the SM-DP + platform, the terminal equipment writes the seed code number into an eSIM card of the terminal equipment, completes downloading and installation of the seed code number, and makes sufficient preparation for a user to arrive at a destination and open an initial network required by the eSIM card.
And S104, receiving a control command for starting the flow package, loading the seed code number, establishing initial connection with a network of a destination operator, and realizing networking so that the SM-DP + platform sends a service code number corresponding to the user order information to the terminal equipment.
When the user arrives at the destination, the flow package ordered in advance can be started through the operation interface provided by the terminal equipment. And when the terminal equipment receives a control command for starting the flow package, loading the seed code number which is downloaded and installed in the eSIM card in advance, and establishing an initial connection for downloading data required by opening the eSIM card. And when the terminal equipment realizes networking through the seed code number, synchronizing the state of starting the seed code number by the terminal equipment to the SM-DP + platform so that the SM-DP + platform sends a service code number for receiving and sending the data service at the destination to the terminal equipment.
And S105, receiving the service code number sent by the SM-DP + platform, and writing the service code number into an eSIM card of the terminal equipment.
And after receiving the service code number sent by the SM-DP + platform, the terminal equipment writes the service code number into an eSIM card of the terminal equipment to finish downloading and installing the service code number.
And S106, loading the service code number to realize the opening of the eSIM card.
In one embodiment, when the terminal device completes downloading and installing the service code number, the service code number can be directly loaded, so that the seed code number is in an activated state, and the user can use the data service.
Considering that the traffic packages purchased by the user usually have traffic restrictions, for example, 4GB traffic for 8 days, in order to implement on-demand opening of the traffic, in another optional implementation, the terminal device may further provide a control interface for the user to manage the service number. Specifically, the terminal device may provide a control interface for managing the service code number, where the control interface displays state information of the service code number, where the state information includes an activation state and a deactivation state. When the terminal device completes the downloading and installation of the service code number, the service code number can be in a deactivation state by default. If the service code number is in a deactivated state and the user needs to use the data service, a control command for activating the service code number can be input through the control interface; if the service code number is in the activated state and the user does not need to continue using the data service, a control command for deactivating the service code number can be input through the control interface; no matter the service code number is in the activated state or the deactivated state, when the user does not need to use the service code number again after confirming, if the user leaves the area of the flow package, a control command for deleting the service code number can be input through the control interface. That is, the terminal device may receive a control command for activating, deactivating or deleting the service code number through the control interface. After the terminal equipment updates the state information of the service code number according to the control command, the state information of the service code number can be synchronized to the SM-DP + platform, so that the SM-DP + platform can timely master the use state of the service code number. When the user deletes the service code number, the SM-DP + platform can distribute the service code number to other terminal equipment for use, so as to improve the utilization rate of the service code number.
According to the method for opening the eSIM card, a user only needs to download and install the seed code number before starting, timing is not triggered, effective time waste is avoided, and sufficient preparation work is made for downloading and installing the subsequent service code number; after the destination is reached, the initial connection established by the pre-downloaded seed code number is utilized to complete the downloading and installation of the service code number, so that the condition that no initial network is available is avoided, and the eSIM card can be conveniently and quickly opened to access the network of the destination.
The network coverage of each destination country is greatly different, and for the destination with free Wi-Fi network coverage in the country with comprehensive network coverage, such as public areas of airports, docks, train stations and the like, the user can realize networking through the Wi-Fi network after arriving at the destination. For such a situation, the embodiment provides a more convenient method, that is, after receiving the control command for enabling the traffic package, the seed code number is loaded, and before establishing an initial connection with the network of the destination operator, the networking state of the terminal device is determined. Judging whether the terminal equipment is networked or not; if so, sending a service code number downloading request to the SM-DP + platform, directly downloading and installing a service code number from the SM-DP + platform, and opening the eSIM card; and if not, loading the seed code number, establishing initial connection with the network of the destination operator, completing downloading and installation of the service code number by using the initial connection established by the seed code number, and opening the eSIM card. The method provided by the embodiment can be used for establishing the initial connection without reloading the seed code number under the condition that the networking can be realized through the Wi-Fi network when the user falls to the ground, so that the time required by opening the eSIM card is saved, and the network of the destination can be accessed more quickly.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of another embodiment of the method for opening the eSIM card according to the present invention, and is applied to a subscription management data preparation SM-DP + platform. As shown in fig. 2, the method for opening an eSIM card provided in this embodiment may include:
s201, a seed code number downloading request sent by the terminal equipment is received, wherein the seed code number downloading request comprises user order information.
In this embodiment, when receiving a seed code number download request sent by a terminal device, the SM-DP + platform may further obtain identification information of the terminal device, such as an EID or an IMEI.
S202, determining a seed code number of the terminal equipment according to the user order information, wherein the seed code number is used for establishing initial connection with a network of at least one destination operator.
And the SM-DP + platform can distribute a seed code number which can establish initial connection with the network of at least one operator at a destination for the terminal equipment according to the user order information in the seed code number downloading request. It can be understood that the SM-DP + platform stores a mapping relationship among the seed code number, the terminal device identification information, and the user order information, and the other two items of information can be determined according to any one of the information.
And S203, transmitting the seed code number to the terminal equipment.
After determining the seed number, the SM-DP + platform sends the seed number to the end device in the networking state.
And S204, detecting whether the terminal equipment uses the seed code number distributed for the terminal equipment to be networked. If yes, go to step S206; if not, the detection is continued.
And S206, if the fact that the terminal equipment uses the seed code number distributed for the terminal equipment to be networked is detected, sending a service code number corresponding to the user order information to the terminal equipment.
After the terminal equipment receives the control command for starting the flow package, initial connection is established with a network of a destination operator by loading the seed code number, and when networking is realized, the state of the terminal equipment is synchronized to the SM-DP + platform.
In the method for opening the eSIM card provided by this embodiment, the corresponding seed code number is sent to the terminal device according to the seed code number download request, so that timing is not triggered, waste of effective duration is avoided, and the terminal device has the capability of acquiring an initial network required for downloading and installing the service code number; the terminal equipment establishes initial connection by utilizing the seed code number, and when networking is realized, the terminal equipment sends the service code number to the terminal equipment, opens the eSIM card and accesses a network of a destination, so that the condition that the terminal equipment cannot download and install the service code number and cannot access the network due to the fact that the terminal equipment does not have the initial network at the destination is avoided.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of another embodiment of the method for opening the eSIM card according to the present invention, and is applied to a subscription management data preparation SM-DP + platform. As shown in fig. 3, on the basis of the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the method provided in this embodiment may further include:
s205, before the service code number corresponding to the user order information is sent to the terminal equipment, whether the current position information of the terminal equipment is consistent with the destination corresponding to the user order information is judged. If yes, step S206 is executed to send the service number corresponding to the user order information to the terminal device.
In this embodiment, the current location information of the terminal device may be actively reported to the SM-DP + platform by the terminal device; the SM-DP + platform may also be obtained from the location register of the operator according to the identification information of the terminal device. If the user does not arrive at the destination, that is, the current location information of the terminal device is inconsistent with the destination corresponding to the user order information, the user inadvertently starts the flow package by mistake through the operation interface provided by the terminal device, and if the service code number is issued at the moment, the card opening is too early, and the effective time is wasted. Only when the current position information of the terminal equipment is consistent with the destination corresponding to the user order information, the user can be determined to arrive at the destination, and the effective time length can not be wasted by issuing the service code number and opening the eSIM card at the moment.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the method provided in this embodiment judges the consistency between the current location information of the terminal device and the destination corresponding to the user order information before sending the service code number corresponding to the user order information to the terminal device, and sends the service code number corresponding to the user order information to the terminal device only when the current location information of the terminal device and the destination corresponding to the user order information are consistent with each other, so that premature card opening caused by misoperation can be effectively avoided, and effective duration is prevented from being wasted.
And when the SMDP + platform receives the service code number downloading request sent by the terminal equipment, the SMDP + platform sends the service code number corresponding to the user order information to the terminal equipment to realize the opening of the eSIM card.
Fig. 4 is a signaling flowchart of an embodiment of a method for opening an eSIM card according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, the method provided by this embodiment may include:
s401, the terminal equipment acquires user order information.
