The vehicle carrying device comprises a base, a plurality of mutually parallel support frames 1 fixedly arranged on the base, a rectangular frame 2 arranged on the support frames 1, a lifting mechanism, a walking mechanism 3, a conveying mechanism 4 and a vehicle tray. The support frame 1 is of elongate shape and houses a plurality of pulleys arranged in line in the longitudinal direction to constitute a pulley block, two front support frames 11 inclined relative to each other being provided at one end of the frame 2 (typically at the front end of the transport device relative to the direction of the parking passage) and a plurality of spaced apart rear support frames 12 being arranged vertically relative to the horizontal at the other end of the frame for the purpose of stability of the transport device. In the event of a malfunction or power failure, the front brackets 11 inclined to each other can be switched to the vertical direction, so that the vehicle tray can be moved using human power.

A conveying mechanism 4 is arranged between the traveling mechanisms 3 at two ends, a conveying motor 41 is arranged on the conveying mechanism 4, a sliding bearing group 42 is fixedly arranged on the conveying motor 41, a first sliding bearing seat 43 and a second sliding bearing seat 44 are arranged at the opposite ends of the traveling mechanisms 3 and the conveying mechanism 4, a first conveying rack 45 is arranged in the first sliding bearing seat 43, a second conveying rack 46 is arranged in the second sliding bearing seat 44, a conveying gear 47 which is horizontally arranged is arranged between the first conveying rack 45 and the second conveying rack 46, the conveying motor 41 enables the conveying gear 47 to rotate through a reduction box, the conveying gear 47 is respectively meshed with the first conveying rack 45 and the second conveying rack 46, so that the first conveying rack 45 and the second conveying rack 46 can move relative to each other, so that the transport means 4 can be moved in or out transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis X of the running gear 3. 4. The vehicle handling apparatus for a stereo garage of claim 3, wherein the front support frame and the rear support frame disposed outboard are larger in size than the rear support frame disposed in the middle.
