In order to implement data interaction between the set-top box and the server in each embodiment of the present invention, a schematic diagram of a network architecture is provided below, please refer to fig. 1, where the entire network is composed of the internet, the set-top box, and the server, and the set-top box and the server implement data interaction through the internet. The number of the set-top boxes can be set to be multiple according to interaction requirements.
The first embodiment is as follows:
the method and the device solve the problems that in the upgrading process of the set-top box, an upgrading package is wrongly downloaded, the set-top box cannot be upgraded to an edition needing upgrading, and user experience is poor. The invention provides a set-top box upgrading method, which is explained below with reference to embodiments.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a basic flowchart of a set-top box upgrading method according to a first embodiment of the present invention, where the set-top box upgrading method includes:
s201, obtaining version information in the upgrade package from the server.
In this embodiment, the set-top box may be various set-top boxes, such as a network set-top box, an intelligent set-top box, an Android set-top box, and the like. The set-top box firstly sends a request for acquiring the version information of the upgrade package, the server receives the request through the internet connected with the set-top box, and the version information in the upgrade package is sent to the set-top box through the internet. Wherein the set-top box is at least one set-top box and the server may be an HTTP server. The upgrade package in the server may be an upgrade package provided by an operator, and may be a repair or update version of the upgrade package provided by other technicians or users.
In this embodiment, before implementing the step, the method may further include:
acquiring a set top box upgrading white list from a server, wherein the set top box upgrading white list comprises unique identification information of each set top box which is allowed to be upgraded;
when the unique identification information of the set top box is determined to be in the set top box upgrading white list, acquiring version information in an upgrading packet from the server;
or the like, or, alternatively,
acquiring a set top box upgrading blacklist from a server, wherein the set top box upgrading blacklist comprises unique identification information of each set top box for limiting upgrading;
and when the unique identification information of the set top box is determined not to be in the set top box upgrading blacklist, acquiring the version information in the upgrading packet from the server.
The unique identification information of the set-top box can be at least one of the following information: the MAC address of the set-top box, the IP address of the set-top box.
S202, when the acquired version information is determined to be inconsistent with the current version information of the set top box, downloading the upgrade package from the server.
In this embodiment, when the set-top box determines that the acquired version information is inconsistent with the current version information of the set-top box, a request for downloading an upgrade package is sent to the server, and the server receives the request through the internet and sends the upgrade package to the set-top box. The downloading of the upgrade package may be dividing the upgrade package into at least two sub data packages when it is detected that the current download is foreground download, starting at least two download processes to perform sub package download on the upgrade package, where one download process is corresponding to the sub data package of one upgrade package, and if an interruption occurs and the interruption is eliminated during the sub package download process, only obtaining a target process in the at least two download processes in which the sub data package download is not completed, and starting the target process to continue downloading the corresponding sub data package.
And S203, upgrading the set top box according to the downloaded upgrading packet.
In this example, the device information of the set-top box may be obtained first during the upgrade of the set-top box according to the downloaded upgrade package, and the set-top box is upgraded according to the upgrade package only when it is determined that the device information of the set-top box matches the device information in the upgrade package, otherwise, the set-top box is not upgraded. Wherein the device information may be an attribute of the version, a serial number of the set-top box, etc.
In this embodiment, before the step is implemented, integrity verification may be performed on the upgrade package, where the integrity verification may be to extract the catalog termination flag information from the upgrade package, extract the upgrade package signature information from the catalog termination flag information, and then verify the signature information of the upgrade package.
According to the set top box upgrading method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the version information in the upgrading package is obtained from the server, when the obtained version information is determined to be inconsistent with the current version information of the set top box, the upgrading package is downloaded from the server, and the set top box is upgraded according to the downloaded upgrading package, so that the technical effect of upgrading the set top box to the version needing upgrading is realized, and the user experience is improved.
