In step S210, a multimedia asset under a first theme is played.
The multimedia resources refer to resources capable of digital transmission, including pictures, characters, sounds, videos, animations, games, web pages and the like. The theme is used for representing the belonging category of the multimedia resource, and can be formed by classifying the resource content (such as TV drama, movie, and art), the belonging field (such as game, music, and reading), and the like of the multimedia resource. The first theme refers to a theme to which the multimedia resource currently being played belongs.
Specifically, the client receives a playing instruction of the multimedia resource under the first theme. The playing instruction may be triggered by a user, for example, when the user wants to browse the multimedia resource, the client receives the playing instruction by clicking a link of the multimedia resource; or may be obtained when it is determined that a preset playing condition is met, for example, in the process of browsing by the user, the server sends a playing instruction of media information (e.g., an advertisement) to the client when detecting that the current time meets a preset time. And the client responds to the playing instruction of the multimedia resource under the first theme to play the multimedia resource under the first theme. The playing page of the multimedia resource is not limited to a full screen page, a small window page, a small screen page, etc.
In step S220, in response to a trigger operation of presenting a topic list, presenting the topic list, where the topic list includes a plurality of topic access entries.
The topic list comprises topic association information corresponding to a plurality of topics and corresponding access entries. The number of topics in the topic list may also include one. The topic association information is not limited to the topic name, topic avatar, topic profile, etc. The plurality of topics in the topic list may be all topics that have been created; or a partial topic selected from all the created topics according to a preset topic generation strategy, for example, a partial topic randomly selected from all the created topics; or, the user has tagged a topic of interest; or selecting a plurality of themes with highest ranking according to the playing amount, and the like.
The triggering operation of the theme list is an operation performed by the user on the playing page of the current multimedia resource, and is not limited to a single-click operation, a double-click operation, a sliding operation, a gesture operation, an operation on an operation control, and the like.
The access portal is an operation portal for playing a multimedia asset under a theme. The access entrance corresponding to each theme can be linked in the theme related information, so that the user can browse the multimedia resources under the theme by clicking the theme related information.
Specifically, in the process of browsing the multimedia resource under the first theme by the client, if the client wants to switch to playing the multimedia resource under another theme, the triggering operation of displaying the theme list can be implemented on the currently playing page. After receiving the trigger operation of displaying the theme list, the client responds to the trigger operation and sends an acquisition request of the theme list to the server. The server responds to the acquisition request of the theme list, and sends the pre-generated theme list to the client so that the client can display the theme list.

And then generating a theme list according to the interested theme of the target account, and displaying the theme list after receiving the triggering operation of displaying the theme list.
In the embodiment, the theme list associated with the target account is generated according to the account associated information of the target account, the association between the theme list and the target account is enhanced, and the recommendation accuracy of the theme and the multimedia resource can be improved, so that the watching duration of the user is prolonged, and the retention rate of the user is improved.
In an exemplary embodiment, the multimedia resource corresponding to each topic in the topic list can be obtained by: for each theme, sequencing multimedia resources under each theme in a preset time period according to a preset resource sequencing logic to generate a resource sequencing corresponding to each theme; and selecting a preset number of multimedia resources from the sequenced multimedia resources.
Wherein resource ordering logic is logic that enables intelligent ordering by a machine. For example, the multimedia resources may be sorted according to the resource publishing time, the number of clicks, the number of comments, and the like. Furthermore, in order to improve the relevance between the resource ranking and the target account, the relevance between the multimedia resources and the target account can be calculated through a deep learning algorithm, and the multimedia resources under each theme are ranked according to the relevance.
In particular, to reduce the operating stress on the terminal device, the resource ordering logic may be configured in the server. And aiming at each theme, sequencing the multimedia resources under each theme in a preset time period through the server according to the resource sequencing logic, and generating a resource sequencing corresponding to each theme. And selecting the multimedia resources with the highest ranking preset number from the ranked multiple multimedia resources. The preset time period can be any time period such as every day and every week; the preset number may be any number such as 10.
In the embodiment, the multimedia resources under each theme are sorted and screened in advance, so that the client can play the sorted multimedia resources according to the designated sequence, and the watching duration and the retention rate of the user are improved.
In an exemplary embodiment, the method further comprises: acquiring a resource playing record of a target account; determining the played multimedia resources in the preset scene according to the resource playing records; and in the process of sequencing the multimedia resources, performing weight reduction processing on the played multimedia resources.
The scene is used to describe a background of the user browsing the multimedia resource, and may be, for example, a recommendation scene, a search scene, and the like. The preset scene may be any one of already created scenes depending on the need, and may be a recommended scene, for example. The resource play record is used for recording the historical behavior data of the target account, and is not limited to records including clicking, searching, browsing and the like of the target account. Historical behavior data of the target account in each scene is recorded in the resource play record. The weight reduction processing means that the ordering of the multimedia resources is reduced through a certain algorithm.
Specifically, when the multimedia resources under each theme are sequenced, the server obtains the resource playing records of the target account. And inquiring whether the multimedia resources played in the preset scene exist from the resource playing records.
