Preferably, in order to facilitate the engaging protrusion 62 to enter the engaging hole 7, a guiding inclined surface 621 is disposed on a lower surface of the engaging protrusion 62, and the guiding inclined surface 621 guides the protruding portion 71 to enter the engaging groove 61, so that the engaging process is smoother.
In addition, when the second shelf 2 is converted from the folded state to the unfolded state, the user pulls the handle part 64 to make the engaging protrusion 62 withdraw from the engaging hole 7, the second shelf 2 is released from the fixed connection with the first shelf 1, and the second shelf 2 moves horizontally backward and is unfolded to the state by the pivot hole 51 of the connecting member 5 pivoting in the first pivot shaft 31 and the second pivot shaft 41. The second shelf 2 is expanded relative to the first shelf 1, which is equivalent to forming an additional shelf, so that more storage spaces can be provided for placing more low-height articles such as dishes, and the space utilization rate of the refrigerator is improved.
It should be noted that the handle portion 64 is independently movable, such as by being pulled, under an external force, and in a preferred embodiment, a gap is provided between the rear side of the handle portion 64 and the groove wall 611, and the gap provides a space for the handle portion 64 to move.
The invention also provides a refrigerator, wherein the storage chamber of the refrigerator comprises at least one rack 10, and a higher storage space can be reserved for higher articles by folding the second shelf 2 at the upper side or the lower side of the first shelf 1 of the rack 10; by unfolding the second shelf 2 at the upper side or the lower side of the first shelf 1 of the rack 10, an additional shelf can be formed, thereby reserving a space for the low-height disc-like articles and enabling the space in the storage compartment of the refrigerator to be more reasonably utilized.
The present invention is capable of other embodiments, and various changes and modifications may be made by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
