技术领域
本发明涉及改进的具有一字形电子枪的彩色显象管,特别涉及具有包括裂缝聚焦电极的一字形电子枪的管子。
背景技术
对于彩色显象管来说,图象的清晰度取决于在管子观看荧光屏上是否具有小电子束点尺寸。在这种管子中,电子枪产生三束必须同时在荧光屏上聚焦为小束点的电子束。已知利用管颈上的线圈可实现扫描速度调制(SVM)。SVM线圈是两极装置,设置该装置以产生使电子束水平偏转的垂直磁场。这种线圈通过调制电子束的水平偏转速度来提高管子的图象质量。作为视频信号的函数来驱动SVM线圈。由于视频频率增加,例如从NTSC频率增加到VGA和SVGA频率,因而SVM线圈应该相应地工作于较高的频率下。这些较高频率导致磁场迅速改变。按照法拉第感应定律,磁通量改变将在任何导体中产生内部闭环电流通路。此外,楞次定律规定了感应的涡流将产生反抗入射场变化的感应磁通,从而减弱到达电子束的磁场大小。这些电流大小取决于磁通即频率的变化率。这种磁场的减弱需要较高功率的电路或较高灵敏度的线圈,由此导致不希望的较高成本。
发明内容
本发明涉及具有观看荧光屏和在管颈内的一字形电子枪的彩色显象管,所述电子枪用以产生一束为中央电子束和两束为侧边电子束的三束一字形电子束并将其导向所述荧光屏。所述电子枪包括包含聚焦电极的多个电极。管颈适于安装围绕在其上的扫描速度调制线圈。聚焦电极包括两个电连接并适于连接到相同聚焦电压的分开电极部分。在分开电极部分之间的间隔由用于线圈的管颈部分所包围。该间隔提供无涡流的区域,从而增强所产生的施加于电子束上的磁场。

具体实施方式
图1示出具有玻璃外壳11的矩形彩色显象管10,其中外壳11包括矩形屏盘12和通过矩形锥体15连接的管颈14。锥体15具有从阳极钮16延伸到管颈14的内导电涂层(未示出)。屏盘12包括观看面板18和周边凸缘或侧壁20,侧壁20通过玻璃熔料17与锥体15密封。三色荧光屏22配置于面板18内表面。荧光屏22最好是具有按三元一组排列的荧光条的条形荧光屏,每一个三元组包括三色中各色的荧光条。另外,荧光屏也可以是点状荧光屏。用常规方法以相对荧光屏22的预定间隔可拆卸地安装多孔选色极或荫罩24。图1中用虚线示意的电子枪26居中地装配于管颈14内,用以产生三束电子束并沿会聚路径引导电子束通过荫罩24到达荧光屏22。
图1的管子被设计为在带有外部磁偏转系统(未示出)的情况下使用,该偏转系统在锥体与管颈的结合处附近装配于管子上。当被激励时,偏转系统使三束电子束受到磁场的作用,引起电子束沿矩形光栅水平和垂直地扫描荧光屏22。
图2、3和4中详细示出电子枪26。电子枪26包括按所述顺序隔开的分开的一列式阴极34(仅示出一个阴极)、控制栅36(G1)、屏栅38(G2)、加速栅极40(G3)、板状电极42(G4)、分成两部分44(G5B)和44(G5T)的聚焦电极(G5)、和最后的电极48(G6)。G1至G6电极中的每一个电极都在其中开有允许三束电子束通过的小孔。由G5T电极部分46和G6电极48的相面对的部分形成电子枪26中的静态主聚焦透镜。分别由两个部分44B和44T以及46B和46T形成G5B电极44和G5T电极。
电子枪26中的所有电极都直接或间接地连接于两根绝缘支杆50和52上。支杆最好为玻璃,加热该支杆并将其压在从电极伸出的爪形物上,于是在支杆中嵌入该爪形物。
在图2中的管颈14上示出的是两个扫描调制(SVM)线圈54和56。各线圈大致为矩形并成形为与管颈圆周形状相配。各线圈还包括在管颈顶部和底部彼此相对的较大中心窗口。尽管这样的SVM线圈已被用于具有固定聚焦电压的电子枪的管子上,但是,本发明人发现,通过在电子枪中设置附加间隔45,允许SVM场以未被阻挡的方式作用于电子束上,可以增强SVM线圈对这些管子的作用。间隔45允许由SVM线圈产生的快速变化的磁通到达电子束而不遭受因电极中涡流的产生所造成的损失。通过将G5聚焦电极轴向分成两个部分,即G5B电极部分44和G5T电极部分46,可形成该附加间隔45。线圈应该围绕电极部分44和46之间的该间隔,但如图2所示,该间隔最好应设置于更接近线圈的轴向中心而不是它们的端部之处。
图3中示出电子枪26中电极的电连接。G1电极接地。G2和G4彼此连接同时接有G2电压VG2,G3、G5B和G5T均彼此相连并接有固定聚焦电压VFOCUS,G6与阳极电压VANODE连接。
在电子枪26中,两个电极部分44和46的相面对的部分44T和46B分别包括三个供三束电子束通过的小孔60、62和64,并且两个分开电极部分的至少一个具有单个扩大的小孔47,如图4中的部分44T所示。本发明的方案也包括只含有单个扩大的小孔47的情况。在所述两个分开电极部分中的至少一个电极中,所述三个小孔从构成供三束电子束通过的单个扩大小孔47,47′的前沿部分43,43′向后设置。两个电极部分44和46的遥远的部分44B和46T也可以分别包括三个分别供三束电子束通过的小孔60、62和64,如图4中部分44T所示。图5示出部分44T和46B的另一个实施例,其中分别用带撇标号表示相同项。该实施例示出如何改变电极部分44和46中所有小孔的尺寸以获得性能的特殊值。在图5所示另一个实施例的该部分中,较大的扩大小孔47′设置于部分44T′中,三个较大的小孔60′、62′和64′设置于部分44B′中。

Claims (2)

1.一种彩色显象管(10),具有观看荧光屏(22)和在所述管子的管颈(14)内的电子枪(26),所述电子枪用以产生一束为中央电子束和两束为侧边电子束的三束一字形电子束并将其导向所述荧光屏,所述电子枪包括包含聚焦电极(G5)的多个电极,所述聚焦电极包括两个电连接并适于连接到相同聚焦电压(VFOCUS)的分开电极部分(44,46,44′),其中,所述聚焦电极的所述两个分开电极部分的相面对部分(44T,46B)分别包括三个供三束电子束通过的小孔(60,62,64,60′,62′,64′),并且在所述两个分开电极部分中的至少一个电极中,所述三个小孔从构成供三束电子束通过的单个扩大小孔(47,47′)的前沿部分(43,43′)向后设置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的彩色显象管(10),特征在于扫描速度调制线圈(54,56)在聚焦电极位置处围绕所述管颈。
