技术领域
本发明涉及一种发光二极管灯丝及照明装置,尤其涉及一种具有改善的显色性的发光二极管灯丝及照明装置。
背景技术
现有的灯泡(light bulb)利用钨等金属灯丝发光。但是,利用金属灯丝的灯泡寿命短、光效率低且功耗高,因此正快速被LED灯具替代。
LED灯具等LED照明装置通常使用发出蓝色区域的光的LED作为光源。尤其,实现白色光的LED照明装置将LED和荧光体一起使用。
另外,对于实现白色光的照明装置而言,通常要求较高的显色性(colorrendering)。显色性是表示被照明装置照射的物体颜色与被基准光源照射的物体颜色有多相似的照明光源的性质。显色性利用显色指数(CRI:color rendering index)进行评价,大多使用平均显色指数(general CRI;Ra)。Ra是对利用八个测试颜色样本定量化的各个CRI(special CRIs;R1~R8)进行平均的值。
通常,若Ra为较高的值,则认为照明光源的显色性较高。但是,对于利用蓝色LED作为光源的照明装置而言,提高Ra通常会导致光度降低,从而功耗增加。此外,由于Ra是各个显色指数的平均值,所以即使Ra较高也无法看作R1至R8全部均匀地高。尤其,对于利用蓝色LED的LED照明装置而言,红色区域的光不足,因此通常利用粉红色区域的反射率较高的测试颜色样本来测量的R8的值与R1至R7相比相对较低。因此,需要一种能够在实现合适的Ra的同时提高R8的LED照明装置。
虽然为了充分地提高R8的值而添加红色区域的荧光体,但是由于在红色荧光体的发光光谱中产生的相当量的尾部,因此产生不必要的光,从而导致照明装置的效率降低。主要使用的氮化物系的红色荧光体,例如CaAlSiN3:Eu2+大致具有80nm以上的半宽度,在使用具有约650nm的发光峰值的氮化物荧光体的情况下,即使在700nm以上的区域中也会产生相当量的光。因此,若为了提高R8而增加红色荧光体使用量,则Ra总体上提高,从而降低了照明装置的整体光度。即,难以通过氮化物系红色荧光体在不降低照明装置的光度的情况下提高R8。另外,虽然可以通过增加照明装置的数量或增加照明装置内LED数量以及荧光体使用量来增加光度,但是会导致功耗增加,因此无法作为优选对策。
最近,正在使用K2SiF6:Mn4+(KSF)作为具有较窄的半宽度的红色荧光体。KSF荧光体是具有约小于10nm的非常窄的半宽度,因此是能够实现良好的颜色再现性的荧光体。在使用KSF等具有较窄的半宽度的红色荧光体的情况下,能够去除不必要的尾部而发出期望的红色区域的光,从而即使以相对较低的Ra也能够实现较高的R8。即,能够在不大副降低光度的情况下实现合适的Ra及R8。但是,由于半宽度较窄,因此与使用氮化物系的红色荧光体时相比,存在使用的KSF荧光体的量显着增加的问题。通常,在使用KSF荧光体的情况下,与使用氮化物系的荧光体时相比,使用的荧光体的量增加六倍以上,因此利用KSF提高R8不能作为一个好的选择。此外,与其他红色荧光体相比,KSF荧光体价格相对昂贵且难以购买,因此作为荧光体使用存在限制。

本发明要解决的又一课题在于提供一种能够在不增加荧光体的使用量的情况下增加R8的LED照明装置。
技术方案
根据本发明的一实施例的发光二极管灯丝包括:支撑基板,具有第一面和第二面;多个所述发光二极管芯片,布置于所述支撑基板的第一面上,并且射出蓝色光;第一金属板及第二金属板,贴附于所述支撑基板而与所述多个所述发光二极管芯片电连接;以及封装材料,覆盖布置于所述支撑基板的第一面上的多个发光二极管芯片以及所述第一金属板及第二金属板,其中,所述封装材料包括在500nm至550nm范围内具有发光峰值的绿色荧光体以及在600nm至650nm范围内具有发光峰值的红色荧光体,所述红色荧光体包括第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体,所述第一红色荧光体的发光峰值波长小于所述第二红色荧光体的发光峰值波长,Ra为80至98范围内,R8超过70。
根据本发明的一实施例的照明装置包括:多个所述发光二极管芯片,射出蓝色光;以及封装材料,覆盖所述多个发光二极管芯片,其中,所述封装材料包括在500nm至550nm范围内具有发光峰值的绿色荧光体以及在600nm至650nm范围内具有发光峰值的红色荧光体,所述红色荧光体包括第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体,所述第一红色荧光体的发光峰值波长小于所述第二红色荧光体的发光峰值波长,所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度为20nm至60nm范围内,Ra为80至98范围内,R8超过70。
根据本发明的一实施例的照明装置包括:发光二极管芯片,射出蓝色光;以及荧光体,对从所述发光二极管芯片射出的光的波长进行转换的荧光体,所述荧光体包括:绿色荧光体,在500nm至550nm范围内具有发光峰值;以及红色荧光体,在600nm至650nm范围内具有发光峰值;其中,所述红色荧光体包括:第一红色荧光体,在620nm至630nm范围内具有发光峰值;以及第二红色荧光体,在630nm至640nm范围内具有发光峰值,所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度分别为20nm至60nm范围内。
尤其,Ra可以为80至98范围内,R8可以为72以上。
所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体可以为(Ca,Sr)S:Eu系的荧光体。然而本发明并不局限于特定的硫化物荧光体,也可以使用发光峰值及半宽度满足上述条件的其他的红色荧光体。
在特定的实施例中,所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度可以为50nm至60nm范围内。
另外,所述绿色荧光体可以包括Lu3(Al,Ga)5O12:Ce(LuAG)系的荧光体。
进而,所述照明装置的所述荧光体还可以包括:黄色荧光体,在550nm至600nm范围内具有发光峰值。
调节绿色荧光体、黄色荧光体及红色荧光体的配合比能够满足所要求的的显色指数。并且,通过使用两种具有相对较窄的半宽度的红色荧光体,能够在不减小光度的同时实现R8。
所述照明装置可以包括发光二极管灯丝。所述发光二极管灯丝可以包括:支撑基板;多个所述发光二极管芯片,粘结于所述支撑基板上;引线,电连接所述发光二极管芯片;以及封装材料,将所述多个发光二极管芯片封装,其中,所述绿色荧光体及红色荧光体分布于所述封装材料。进而,所述封装材料可以包围所述支撑基板。
根据本发明的又一实施例的发光二极管灯丝包括:支撑基板;多个发光二极管芯片,布置于所述支撑基板上,射出蓝色光;以及封装材料,覆盖所述多个发光二极管芯片,并且分布有荧光体,其中,所述荧光体包括:绿色荧光体,在500nm至550nm范围内具有发光峰值;以及红色荧光体,在600nm至650nm范围内具有发光峰值;其中,所述红色荧光体包括:第一红色荧光体,在620nm至630nm范围内具有发光峰值;以及第二红色荧光体,在630nm至640nm范围内具有发光峰值,所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度分别为20nm至60nm范围内。
所述发光二极管灯丝的Ra可以为80至98范围内,R8可以为72以上。
并且,所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体可以为(Ca,Sr)S:Eu系的荧光体。
进而,所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度可以为50nm至60nm范围内。
有益效果
根据本发明的实施例,通过使用半宽度为20nm至60nm范围内的两种红色荧光体,能够在不增加荧光体的使用量的情况下实现R8为72以上的良好的显色性,从而能够防止照明装置的光度减小。

具体实施方式
以下,参照附图详细说明本发明的实施例。为了能够将本发明的思想充分传递给本领域技术人员,作为示例提供以下介绍的实施例。因此,本发明并不限定于如下所述的实施例,其可以具体化为其他形态。另外,在附图中,可能为了便利而夸张示出构成要素的宽度、长度、厚度等。并且,当记载到一个构成要素位于另一构成要素的“上部”或“上”时,不仅包括各部分“直接”位于其他部分的“上部”或“上”的情形,还包括各构成要素与另一构成要素之间夹设有又一构成要素的情形。在整个说明书中,相同的附图标号表示相同的构成要素。
以下,通过LED照明装置的一例举例说明LED灯具,但是应该理解本发明的照明装置能够具体化为多种形态的照明装置,而不局限于以下所述的LED灯具。
图1是用于说明根据本发明的一实施例的LED灯具的示意性主视图。
参照图1,所述LED灯具包括灯泡基座10、中央支柱20、下部引线30、上部引线40、LED灯丝50及透光性灯泡60。
灯泡基座10具有与现有的灯泡(light bulb)中使用的电极结构相同的电极结构。并且,在灯泡基座10内部可以内置有AC/DC转换器等无源元件及有源元件。
由于灯泡基座10具有与现有的灯泡相同的电极结构,因此根据本发明的实施例的LED灯具可以使用现有的灯座,从而能够节省使用LED灯具所产生的附加设备设置成本。
中央支柱20固定于灯泡基座10而布置于LED灯具中央。中央支柱20可以包括底座部、支柱部及上端部。中央支柱20是用于支撑LED灯丝50的构成,例如可以利用玻璃形成。
下部引线30电连接灯泡基座10与LED灯丝50。下部引线30结合于LED灯丝50的下部侧端部。各个LED灯丝50连接有下部引线30,这些下部引线30分为两组而分别连接于灯泡基座10的两个电极。
另外,上部引线40结合于LED灯丝50的上部侧端部。一条上部引线40能够将一对LED灯丝50相互连接。在本实施例中,图示了两对LED灯丝50,两条上部引线40将两对LED灯丝50相互串联连接。然而本发明并不局限于此,也可以布置有通过上部引线40分别相互连接的一对或三对以上的LED灯丝50。
透光性灯泡60包围LED灯丝50而使其与外部环境分离。透光性灯泡60可以利用玻璃或塑料形成。透光性灯泡60可以具有多样的形状,也可以具有与现有的灯泡相同的形状。
另外,LED灯丝50通过下部引线30及上部引线40电连接于灯泡基座10。参照图2及图3对LED灯丝50的结构进行详细说明。
图2是用于说明根据本发明的一实施例的LED灯丝的示意性平面图,图3是根据本发明的一实施例的LED灯丝的部分放大剖面图。
参照图2及图3,LED灯丝50可以包括支撑基板51、发光二极管芯片53、键合引线54、封装材料55及第一金属板和第二金属板56。并且,用于将发光二极管芯片53键合于支撑基板51的粘结剂(图3的52)可以布置于发光二极管芯片53与支撑基板51之间。并且,虽然未图示,但是第一金属板和第二金属板56也可以利用粘结剂贴附于支撑基板51。
支撑基板51具有条状(bar)等较长的形状。并且,支撑基板51可以具有第一面以及与所述第一面相向的第二面。支撑基板51可以利用蓝宝石、石英(quartz)或玻璃等的透明物质形成,然而并不局限于此,可以利用多样种类的透明或非透明陶瓷形成。
发光二极管芯片53布置于支撑基板51上。发光二极管芯片53例如可以布置于支撑基板51的第一面上,也可以布置于第一面及第二面这两面。发光二极管芯片53可以利用晶圆键合技术而不使用粘结剂的情况下键合于支撑基板51上,也可以利用粘结剂键合于支撑基板51上。在一实施例中,粘结剂52可以使用透明粘结剂,在特定实施例中,粘结剂52内也可以包括荧光体或量子点等波长转换物质。
另外,键合引线54电连接发光二极管芯片53。如图所示,发光二极管芯片53可以通过键合引线54串联连接。图1的上部引线40可以将这样串联连接的一对LED灯丝50相互串联连接。另外,布置于两侧端部的发光二极管芯片53分别电连接于第一金属板和第二金属板56。并且,这些发光二极管芯片53可以通过键合引线54电连接于第一金属板和第二金属板56。
封装材料55覆盖发光二极管芯片53,并且覆盖键合引线54。并且,封装材料55可以部分覆盖第一金属板和第二金属板56。封装材料55可以在支撑基板51的第一面上覆盖发光二极管芯片53(图3的(a)),然而并不局限于此,也可以形成为将支撑基板51的第一面及第二面全部包围(图3的(b))。封装材料55可以含有对从发光二极管芯片53射出的光的波长进行转换的荧光体。后文将对封装材料中含有的荧光体进行详细说明。
第一金属板和第二金属板56结合于支撑基板51。第一金属板和第二金属板56可以通过粘结剂贴附于支撑基板51,然而并不局限于此,可以通过多样的方式结合于支撑基板51。
另外,如参照图1进行的说明,LED灯丝50的一端部连接于下部引线30,另一端部连接于上部引线40。此时,所述第一金属板和第二金属板56可以通过焊料、焊接等结合于下部引线30及上部引线40。
并且,所述下部引线30及上部引线40可以具有弹性,因此,当LED灯丝50由于热量而膨胀或收缩时,下部引线30及上部引线40能够弯曲。
图4是根据本发明的一实施例的贴装于LED灯丝的发光二极管芯片53的示意性平面图,图5是沿图4的截取线A-A截取的剖面图。
参照图4及图5,所述发光二极管芯片53可以包括生长基板110、n侧半导体层120、活性层130、p侧半导体层140、透明电极150、n-电极160及p-电极170。
生长基板110作为适合氮化镓系半导体层生长的基板,可以是使在活性层130生成的光透射的透明基板。例如,生长基板110可以是蓝宝石基板、氮化镓基板、氮化铝基板等,尤其可以是图案化的蓝宝石基板。图5图示了图案化的蓝宝石基板,该基板110在上表面具有凸出部115。
在生长基板110上布置有包括n侧半导体层120、活性层130及p侧半导体层140的半导体层叠结构。
透明电极150可以布置于p侧半导体层140上而接触于p侧半导体层140。透明电极150使在活性层130生成的光透射。透明电极150可以利用氧化铟锡(ITO:indium-tin-oxide)或ZnO等透明氧化膜或者Ni/Au等透明金属形成。
另外,p侧半导体层140及活性层130的一部分被去除,从而n侧半导体层120可以被暴露。n-电极160形成于暴露的n侧半导体层120上而电连接于n侧半导体层120。n-电极160利用欧姆接触于n侧半导体层120的物质形成,例如可以利用Ti/Al形成。
p-电极170形成于透明电极150上。透明电极150的一部分可以具有使p侧半导体层140暴露的开口部,p-电极170可以通过形成于透明电极150的开口部接触于p侧半导体层140。p-电极170可以包括用于使从活性层130入射的光反射的反射层。例如,p-电极170可以利用Al/Ti/Pt/Au形成。
另外,延伸部175可以从p-电极170朝向n-电极160延伸。延伸部175可以利用与p-电极170相同的物质而与p-电极170一同形成。
如上文所述,布置于生长基板110上的半导体层叠结构包括n侧半导体层120、活性层130及p侧半导体层140。在此所述的半导体层叠结构可以利用氮化镓系半导体层形成,并且利用金属有机化学气相生长法或氢化物气相生长法等在生长基板110上生长。
另外,n侧半导体层120可以是单层或多层结构。例如,所述n侧半导体层120可以包括缓冲层及n型接触层。缓冲层可以利用GaN形成,并且可以为了减少由于生长基板与半导体层之间的晶格失配所导致的晶体缺陷而形成。
另外,活性层130可以是单量子阱结构或多量子阱结构。尤其,活性层130可以是阻挡层与阱层交替层叠的多量子阱结构,从而能够提高内部量子效率。
p侧半导体层140可以是单层或多层结构,例如可以包括电子阻挡层及p型接触层。
电子阻挡层布置于活性层130上,电子被限制在活性层130内而提高再结合率。电子阻挡层可以利用AlGaN或AlInGaN形成。
p型接触层是掺杂有诸如Mg等p型杂质的层,并且透明电极150电连接于p型接触层。
对发光二极管芯片53的一例进行说明,但是本发明并不局限于在此说明的发光二极管芯片,可以使用多样种类的蓝色发光二极管芯片。
另外,发光二极管芯片53可以具有蓝色区域中的光的发光峰值,例如,450nm至470nm范围内,进而450nm至460nm范围内的发光峰值。另外,封装材料55中含有的荧光体被从发光二极管芯片53射出的光激发而射出转换后的光。
尤其,所述荧光体包括在500nm至550nm范围内具有发光峰值的绿色荧光体以及在600nm至650nm范围内具有发光峰值的红色荧光体。进而,在本实施例中,所述红色荧光体包括在620nm至630nm范围内具有发光峰值的第一红色荧光体以及在630nm至640nm范围内具有发光峰值的第二红色荧光体。如上所述的第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度分别可以是20nm至60nm范围内,进而可以是40nm至60nm范围内,具体而言,可以是50nm至60nm范围内。第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体例如可以是(Ca,Sr)S:Eu2+系的硫化物荧光体,然而并不一定局限于此。
对于半宽度为20nm至60nm的红色荧光体而言,不必要的波长范围的尾部区域较少,因此能够在不降低照明装置的光度的情况下提高R8。此外,半宽度不像KSF荧光体那样极窄,因此无需为了提高R8而增加荧光体使用量。
进而,通过一同使用在620nm至630nm范围内具有发光峰值的第一红色荧光体以及在630nm至640nm范围内具有发光峰值的第二红色荧光体,能够易于覆盖用于提高R8的红色区域的相对较宽的区域。因此,与使用氮化物系荧光体的情况相比,反而能够减少用于实现等同的Ra的荧光体量。
另外,所述绿色荧光体在500nm至550nm范围内具有发光峰值。绿色荧光体并不受特别限定,例如可以使用Lu3(Al,Ga)5O12:Ce(LuAG)系的荧光体、Ba2MgSi2O7:Eu2+、Ba2SiO4:Eu2+、Ca3(Sc,Mg)2Si3O12:Ce3+等硅酸盐荧光粉或(Sr,Ca)Ga2S4:Eu2+等硫化物荧光体。尤其,所述绿色荧光体的半宽度可以是90nm至130nm范围内,因此覆盖相对较宽的波长范围。
另外,所述荧光体还可以包括黄色荧光体。例如,可以使用YAG荧光体或者硅酸盐荧光体。黄色荧光体可以在550nm至600nm范围内具有发光峰值,与绿色荧光体类似地,可以具有100nm以上的较宽的半宽度。
图6是示出根据比较例及实施例的照明装置的光通量及R8的图表。
比较例的照明装置及实施例的照明装置都将相同种类的LED芯片布置于支撑基板上,并利用包含荧光体的封装材料包围支撑基板。并且,除红色荧光体之外,使用了相同种类的LuAG系的荧光体和YAG荧光体。另外,比较例使用两种氮化物系的荧光体作为红色荧光体,实施例使用两种(Ca,Sr)S:Eu2+硫化物荧光体作为红色荧光体。
氮化物系的荧光体的发光峰值约为635nm至646nm,半宽度分别约为92.5nm及87.5nm。与此相反,所述硫化物荧光体的发光峰值约为626nm至634nm,半宽度分别约为53.5nm及56.5nm。
调节这些荧光体的配合比来制造Ra(CRI)约为80的比较例1、约为90的比较例2以及Ra约为80的实施例1的照明装置。
当Ra为80的比较例1的照明装置的光通量为100时,Ra为90的比较例2的光通量相比于比较例1减小了10%以上。与此相反,Ra为80的实施例1的照明装置的光通量相比于比较例1减小较微弱。
另外,Ra为80的比较例1的照明装置的R8不到60,Ra为90的比较例2的照明装置的R8为80以上。另外,实施例1中,Ra为80,而且R8也表现出72以上的值。
即,根据实施例1,通过混合使用半宽度相对较小的两种红色荧光体,能够使Ra保持为相对较低的同时将R8提高至72以上。与此相反,如比较例1及比较例2,在使用半宽度相对较大的氮化物系荧光体的情况下,为了实现较高的R8必须提高Ra,由此可知,光通量被显著减少。
图7是示出照明装置中使用的荧光体使用量的图表。
对为了实现相同的Ra 80而在照明装置中使用的荧光体使用量进行了比较。比较例1及实施例1与上文所说明的情形一样,比较例3使用KSF荧光体作为红色荧光体。
当氮化物荧光体的使用量设定为100%时,KSF荧光体使用六倍以上,大致接近七倍的荧光体,硫化物荧光体的使用量反而比氮化物荧光体减少。
图8a及图8b是示出比较例1及实施例1的发光光谱的图表。
通过图8a及图8b可知,在使用半宽度较窄的实施例1的红色荧光体的情况下,红色光波长区域的光度提高。进而,由于使用半宽度较窄的荧光体,因此能够减少在长波长侧产生的尾部,从而能够在提高R8的同时增加光度。
以上,已对本发明的多样的实施例进行了说明,然而本发明并不限定于上述的多样的实施例及特征,在不脱离根据本发明的权利要求书范围的技术思想的范围内,能够进行多样的变形及变更。
Claims (10)
1.一种发光二极管灯丝,包括:
支撑基板,具有第一面和第二面;
多个发光二极管芯片,布置于所述支撑基板的第一面上,并且射出蓝色光;
第一金属板及第二金属板,贴附于所述支撑基板而与所述多个发光二极管芯片电连接;以及
封装材料,覆盖布置于所述支撑基板的第一面上的多个发光二极管芯片以及所述第一金属板及第二金属板,
其中,所述封装材料包括在500nm至550nm范围内具有发光峰值的绿色荧光体以及在600nm至650nm范围内具有发光峰值的红色荧光体,
所述红色荧光体包括第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体,所述第一红色荧光体的发光峰值波长小于所述第二红色荧光体的发光峰值波长,
Ra为80至98范围内,R8超过70。
2.根据权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯丝,其中,
所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度为20nm至60nm范围内。
3.根据权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯丝,其中,
所述第一红色荧光体在620nm至630nm范围内具有发光峰值,
所述第二红色荧光体在630nm至640nm范围内具有发光峰值。
4.根据权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯丝,其中,
所述封装材料还包括:
黄色荧光体,具有550nm至600nm范围内的发光峰值。
5.根据权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯丝,其中,
所述封装材料包围所述支撑基板的第二面。
6.一种照明装置,包括:
多个发光二极管芯片,射出蓝色光;以及
封装材料,覆盖所述多个发光二极管芯片,
其中,所述封装材料包括在500nm至550nm范围内具有发光峰值的绿色荧光体以及在600nm至650nm范围内具有发光峰值的红色荧光体,
所述红色荧光体包括第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体,所述第一红色荧光体的发光峰值波长小于所述第二红色荧光体的发光峰值波长,
所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度为20nm至60nm范围内,
Ra为80至98范围内,R8超过70。
7.根据权利要求6所述的照明装置,其中,
所述第一红色荧光体在620nm至630nm范围内具有发光峰值,
所述第二红色荧光体在630nm至640nm范围内具有发光峰值。
8.根据权利要求6所述的照明装置,其中,
所述第一红色荧光体及第二红色荧光体的半宽度为50nm至60nm范围内。
9.根据权利要求6所述的照明装置,其中,
所述封装材料还包括:
黄色荧光体,具有550nm至600nm范围内的发光峰值。
10.根据权利要求6所述的照明装置,其中,
所述照明装置为包括发光二极管灯丝的发光二极管灯具。
