Detailed Description
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a beverage brewing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a partial perspective view of the beverage brewing apparatus of fig. 1. Referring to fig. 1 and 2, the beverage brewing apparatus 100 of the present embodiment includes a raw material supply unit 110, an ice making unit 180, a brewing unit 120, and a carrying unit 130. The ingredient supply unit 110 is adapted to store a plurality of ingredients and deliver at least a portion of the ingredients to the brewing unit 120. The ice-making unit 180 is adapted to make and store ice pieces and deliver the ice pieces to the brewing unit 120. The brewing unit 120 is adapted to brew the ingredients from the ingredient supply unit 110 and the ice cubes from the ice making unit 180 into a beverage. It should be noted that fig. 1 and 2 show a portion of the housing of the brewing apparatus 100 as transparent in order to make the components within the beverage brewing apparatus 100 clearly visible, but in practice it may not be transparent to moderately obscure the components within the brewing apparatus 100.
In the present embodiment, the ice making unit 180 is disposed behind the brewing unit 120 and extends above the brewing unit 120 (i.e., the position indicated by the reference numeral 180), so that the ice outlet 182 of the ice making unit 180 provides ice to the brewing unit 120. For example, the ice making unit 180 may include a compressor located approximately behind the brewing unit 120 and an ice storage device located above the compressor and the brewing unit 120, with an ice outlet 182 located at a lower end of the ice storage device corresponding to the brewing unit 120. With this configuration, the ice making unit 180 can automatically add ice cubes to the brewing unit 120, so that there is no need to manually add ice cubes to the brewing unit 120, and the beverage brewing apparatus 100 can fully automatically brew ice cubes and raw materials into a beverage.
The carrier unit 130 is disposed below the modulation unit 120. When the carrying unit 130 and the brewing unit 120 have the first distance shown in fig. 1 and 2, the carrying unit 130 is adapted to carry the drinking cup 50 as shown in fig. 2, and the brewed beverage is adapted to move from the brewing unit 120 into the drinking cup 50 through the brewing unit 120. The drink cup 50 can be removed from between the carrier unit 130 and the brewing unit 120 for the user to drink the drink therein.
Fig. 3 shows a reduction of the distance between the carrier unit and the modulation unit of fig. 2. Fig. 4A and 4B are flowcharts illustrating the operation of the lifting unit of fig. 2. In this embodiment, the beverage brewing apparatus 100 further comprises a lifting unit 140, and the lifting unit 140 is connected to the carrying unit 130 and adapted to drive the carrying unit 130 to lift. After the drinking cup 50 is taken out from between the carrying unit 130 and the brewing unit 120, the first distance between the carrying unit 130 and the brewing unit 120 is adapted to be reduced to the second distance shown in fig. 3 by the driving of the carrying unit 130 by the lifting unit 140 as shown in fig. 4A to 4B. The power source of the lifting unit 140 may be a cylinder, a motor or other suitable actuating devices, which is not limited in the present invention.
Figure 5 is a schematic view of a portion of the components of the beverage brewing apparatus of figure 1. As shown in fig. 5, the beverage brewing apparatus 100 of the present embodiment further comprises a cleaning unit 150. The cleaning unit 150 is connected to the brewing unit 120. When the carrying unit 130 and the brewing unit 120 have a smaller second distance therebetween as shown in fig. 3, the cleaning unit 150 is adapted to clean the brewing unit 120 through the cleaning solution, and the cleaning solution after cleaning is adapted to move from the brewing unit 120 to the carrying unit 130. The cleaning liquid is, for example, water or a cleaning agent, and the invention is not limited thereto.
As described above, since the distance between the brewing unit 120 to be cleaned after use and the carrying unit 130 for carrying the beverage cup 50 can be reduced by the driving of the lifting unit 140, when the cleaning unit 150 cleans the brewing unit 120 with the cleaning liquid, the cleaning liquid flowing out from the brewing unit 120 can be received by the carrying unit 130 nearby without splashing outside the beverage brewing apparatus 100, so as to achieve the effect of cleaning the brewing unit properly.
In the present embodiment, the beverage brewing apparatus 100 further includes a storage unit 160 as shown in fig. 1, and the storage unit 160 can be used for storing various raw materials or tools required for brewing beverages according to the requirement. When the drink preparing apparatus 100 is installed in a place where a water line cannot be connected, the storage unit 160 may also be used to store clean water required for preparing a drink or cleaning the preparing unit 120 and cleaning liquid after cleaning the preparing unit 120, respectively, due to lack of supply of clean water and inability to discharge waste water after cleaning. If the storage unit 160 is used to store water for brewing beverages or cleaning the brewing unit 120, the cleaning unit 150 shown in fig. 5 is, for example, a pump or other driving device connected between the storage unit 160 and the brewing unit 120 through a pipeline, so as to drive the water in the storage unit 160 into the brewing unit 120 for cleaning. When the storage unit 160 is used to store the cleaning solution after cleaning the preparation unit 120, the storage unit 160 only needs to be connected to the flow path 130b for discharging the cleaning solution as shown in fig. 6. The specific configuration of the flow path 130b will be described in detail later. In other embodiments, the cleaning unit 150 may be other types of devices suitable for delivering any suitable source of cleaning fluid to the brewing unit 120, and the invention is not limited thereto.
Referring to fig. 2, the brewing unit 120 of the present embodiment has a beverage outlet 120a, and the beverage brewed by the brewing unit 120 is suitable for moving from the brewing unit 120 to the beverage cup 50 on the carrying unit 130 through the beverage outlet 120 a. In addition, the cleaning solution for cleaning the brewing unit 120 is also adapted to move from the brewing unit 120 to the carrying unit 130 through the beverage outlet 120 a. On the other hand, the carrying unit 130 of the present embodiment has a positioning ring 130 a. The bottom of the drinking cup 50 is adapted to be positioned by being placed in the positioning ring 130a when the carrier unit 130 is at a first distance from the brewing unit 120 as shown in fig. 2. When the carrying unit 130 and the brewing unit 120 have the second distance as shown in fig. 3, the positioning ring 130a is adjacent to the beverage outlet 120a of the brewing unit 120 as shown in fig. 3, and the positioning ring 130a can also be lifted to surround the beverage outlet 120a of the brewing unit 120, so as to ensure that the cleaning liquid discharged from the beverage outlet 120a is not splashed out.
Fig. 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the carrying unit of fig. 1. Referring to fig. 6, the supporting unit 130 of the present embodiment has a flow path 130b, and the cleaning solution is suitable for flowing along the flow path 130b and being discharged from the supporting unit 130. Specifically, the supporting unit 130 includes a supporting plate 132 and a draining groove 134, and the supporting plate 132 covers the draining groove 134 for supporting the beverage cup 50 (shown in fig. 2). At the center of the positioning ring 130a, the carrier 132 has an opening 132a for the cleaning liquid to fall down to the drain groove 134. The drain groove 134 has a guide slope 134a and a drain port 134b, and the guide slope 134a guides the cleaning solution to the drain port 134b and discharges the cleaning solution. The flow path 130b is composed of the opening 132a of the carrier plate 132, the guide slope 134a of the drain groove 134, and the drain 134b of the drain groove 134. In other embodiments, the supporting unit 130 may discharge the cleaning solution through other suitable flow paths, which is not limited in the present invention. In addition, the carrier plate 132 may further have a plurality of slots 134c (shown in fig. 4A and 4B) for allowing the beverage that fails to enter the beverage cup 50 to fall into the drainage slot 134 and be drained when the beverage cup 50 receives the beverage from the brewing unit 120.
The configuration and operation of the modulation unit 120 of the present embodiment are explained below. Fig. 7 is a perspective view of the modulation unit of fig. 1. Referring to fig. 7, the brewing unit 120 of the present embodiment includes a brewing cup 122, the brewing cup 122 has two valves 122a, the raw material is delivered from the raw material supply unit 110 to one of the two valves 122a of the brewing cup 122 (e.g., the valve 122a located above) through a suitable pipeline, and the ice outlet 182 of the ice making unit 180 corresponds to one of the two valves 122a (e.g., the valve 122a located above). When one of the two valves 122a (e.g., the valve 122a located above) is opened and the other of the two valves 122a (e.g., the valve 122a located below) is closed, the ingredients from the ingredient supply unit 110 and the ice cubes from the ice cube outlet 182 of the ice making unit 180 can enter the brewing cup 122 through the opened valve 122 a. When both valves 122a are closed, the ingredients and ice cubes are adapted to be brewed in the brew cup 122. When one of the two valves 122a (e.g., the upper valve 122a) is closed and the other of the two valves 122a (e.g., the lower valve 122a) is open, the beverage in the brewing cup 122 is adapted to move away from the brewing cup 122 through the open valve 122a and toward the beverage outlet 120a (shown in fig. 2). The brewing cup 122 of the present embodiment can conveniently and rapidly allow the raw materials and ice cubes to enter the brewing cup 122 and allow the beverage to be removed from the brewing cup 122 through the design of the double valve 122a, without driving the brewing cup 122 to turn over or dump, thereby simplifying the design of the driving mechanism and increasing the operation speed of automatically brewing the beverage.
Specifically, each valve 122a includes an opening portion 122a1, a seal 122a2, and an elastic member 122a 3. The sealing member 122a2 is, for example, a rubber member or a silicone member, and the elastic member 122a3 is, for example, a spring. The sealing member 122a2 is connected to the elastic member 122a3 and seals the opening portion 122a1 by the elastic force of the elastic member 122a 3. The sealing member 122a2 is adapted to be forced and moved away from the opening portion 122a1 against the elastic force of the elastic member 122a 3. In the present embodiment, for example, a pushing structure is disposed at the upper valve 122a for pushing the sealing member 122a2, so as to push the sealing member 122a2 at a proper time to open the opening portion 122a1, so that the raw material and the ice cubes can enter the brewing cup 122 through the opening portion 122a 1. Similarly, in the present embodiment, an abutting structure is disposed at the lower valve 122a for abutting against the sealing member 122a2, and the abutting structure is formed at the top of the beverage outlet 120a (shown in fig. 2) for abutting against the sealing member 122a2 at a proper time to open the opening portion 122a1, so that the beverage can be moved away from the brewing cup 122 through the opening portion 122a 1.
On the other hand, the modulation unit 120 includes a modulation device 124. The brewing cup 122 is adapted to brew such ingredients from the ingredient supply unit 110 (shown in fig. 1) by actuation of the brewing device 124.
