Background
In the production process of the liquid crystal display panel, the display panel must be tested through lighting detection, which is important for the quality control of the display panel, and at this stage, whether the display panel has a bad point (e.g., a bright point or a dark point) can be detected.
In order to realize the lighting detection process, conductive circuits are arranged at the appointed position of the substrate, each circuit is communicated with a pixel point, then each circuit communicated with the pixel point is connected at the conductive circuit terminal at the edge of the substrate through a conductive wire, and the conductive wire connecting each terminal at the terminal is called a terminal short circuit ring. Through setting up the terminal short-circuit ring, as long as give the circular telegram of terminal short-circuit ring, can light the pixel of whole screen, inspect the picture after lighting, find out the pixel that has the problem and take corresponding measure.
After lighting detection is completed, in order to prevent abnormal display of the liquid crystal panel due to short circuit at the terminals of the conductive circuits connected to the pixels after subsequent assembly of the product, it is necessary to completely remove the terminal short circuit rings disposed on the substrate by using a terminal short circuit ring removing device before the product is assembled.

The camera is grabbed to take a picture in a fuzzy mode, so that the cutting position cannot be accurately positioned, personnel are required to confirm, and the workload of the personnel is increased.

In view of this, the embodiment of the present invention provides a carrier for a terminal short-circuit ring cutting device, which uses an improved horizontal platform and a retractable support column, so as to not only improve the adsorption capacity of a substrate, but also increase the levelness of the substrate in a terminal short-circuit ring area by matching with the improved horizontal platform, overcome the unevenness caused by glass bending, ensure that the terminal short-circuit ring area is at the same height, ensure that a capturing camera clearly captures an alignment mark, and keep the focus of a laser beam focused on the terminal short-circuit ring area to be cut.

Fig. 3 and 4 are schematic diagrams showing an exemplary stage having a horizontal platform and a plurality of support columns, and fig. 4 shows an exemplary substrate placed on top of the support columns in a transparent state so that the placement and arrangement of the support columns can be recognized. Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of an organ-type elastic retractable supporting column according to one embodiment of the present invention, the supporting column has a suction nozzle at the top thereof for sucking a substrate carried thereon, the supporting column has a suction channel therein, the lower portion of the suction channel is connected to an air pump or the like, and the supporting column body is an organ-type elastic component and may be made of an elastic material such as rubber, silicone, or the like. When the air pump sucks air, the suction nozzle is in close contact with the substrate and is in a state that air cannot leak, and the elastic component is compressed along with further air suction; the elastic member is capable of stretching when the air pump is deflated. Therefore, the height of the elastic support columns can be changed by sucking and discharging air of the air pump, so that the elastic support columns can be changed between the stretching state and the compression state.
The area of the terminal shorting ring to be cut is illustratively located at the lower edge of the substrate in fig. 4, as well as the lower layer of the substrate in fig. 3.
The horizontal platform comprises a horizontal platform horizontal part and a plurality of horizontal platform convex parts, and the support columns and the horizontal platform convex parts are positioned on the horizontal platform horizontal part. The tops of the plurality of horizontal platform projections are on the same horizontal plane. In fig. 4, the horizontal stage protrusion is exemplarily provided at a lower portion of the horizontal stage corresponding to a region of the terminal short ring to be cut off of the substrate carried thereon.
Fig. 7 and 8 are schematic diagrams showing a terminal short ring cutting apparatus including the above-described stage. In fig. 7, the retractable support columns of the stage are in an extended state, and in fig. 8, the retractable support columns of the stage are in a compressed state. The specific operation of the terminal shorting ring cutting device will be described in detail with reference to fig. 7 and 8.
In fig. 7, the substrate with the terminal shorting ring to be cut off is placed on the retractable support posts of the stage, with the retractable support posts in an extended state. The air pump device is started to suck air through an air suction channel (not shown) in the support column, so that the suction nozzle at the top of the support column sucks the substrate carried thereon, and the elastic part is compressed along with continuous air suction to enter a compressed state of the telescopic support column shown in fig. 8.
In the working state exemplarily shown in fig. 8, the retractable supporting columns are in a compressed state, at this time, the substrate carried on the supporting columns is adsorbed on the upper surfaces of the horizontal platform protrusions due to the compressed state of the retractable supporting columns, and the upper surfaces of the horizontal platform protrusions are on the same horizontal plane, so that the terminal short circuit ring regions to be cut off can be ensured to be on the same height, thereby effectively overcoming the height inconsistency caused by the bending of the substrate material. Further, the focus of the laser beam emitted by the laser generator is maintained in the region of the terminal short-circuit ring to be cut off, so that a capture camera (not shown) can clearly photograph the alignment mark and accurate cutting off of the cut-off terminal short-circuit ring is realized.
Fig. 9 exemplarily shows a top view of the stage of the second embodiment of the present invention.
In this embodiment, parts that are the same as those in the first embodiment are not described again, and a main difference between the second embodiment and the first embodiment is that in this embodiment, due to the substrate on the carrier and the stage, the terminal short-circuit rings to be cut are provided at three edges. Thus, the stage is designed to correspond to the to-be-cut terminal shorting ring area of the substrate carried thereon, with a plurality of raised portions provided at each of the three edges (illustratively shown as the three left, bottom, and right edges in fig. 8) of the horizontal stage portion of the stage. When the telescopic supporting columns are in a compression state, the substrate is adsorbed on the upper surfaces of the bosses of the horizontal platforms through the suction nozzles at the tops of the supporting groups. When the air pump sucks air, the suction nozzle is in close contact with the substrate and is in a state that air cannot leak, and with further air suction, an air suction channel made of a flexible material is shortened, so that the spring is forced to be compressed, and the telescopic sleeve is further shortened; when the air pump deflates, the air suction channel made of the flexible material extends, and the elastic force of the spring enables the telescopic sleeve to extend.
