Abstract

The embodiment of the disclosure relates to a glass cover plate, a flexible display screen and a display device. The glass cover plate is suitable for a flexible display screen and comprises a glass substrate and a self-healing functional layer, wherein the glass substrate can be bent, and the self-healing functional layer is coated on the surface of the glass substrate. In the embodiment of the disclosure, on one hand, the bendable glass cover plate is used for replacing the existing polymer substrate flexible cover plate, so that the bending performance of the flexible cover plate is maintained, and the rigidity of the cover plate is enhanced, thereby improving the protection of the display screen; on the other hand, the surface of the glass cover plate is coated with the self-healing functional layer, when the glass cover plate is scratched, the self-healing functional layer can self-heal, and the service life of the cover plate is prolonged; on the other hand, the surface of the glass cover plate is coated with the self-healing functional layer, when the glass cover plate is cracked due to large impact, the glass cannot generate fragments to splash and hurt people, and the use safety of the glass cover plate, the flexible display screen and the display device is improved.

Glass cover plate, flexible display screen and display device
Technical Field
The embodiment of the disclosure relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a glass cover plate, a flexible display screen and a display device.
Background
In the conventional flexible display device, a high molecular polymer material is often used as a substrate of the flexible cover plate. The high polymer base material has low strength and low surface hardness, is easy to scratch, and needs to be subjected to re-hardening treatment on the surface of the high polymer base material in order to improve the surface performance of the high polymer base material, namely a layer of hardened coating is coated, and the coating is cured or hardened under a certain temperature or illumination condition to obtain the hardened flexible cover plate. The flexible apron after the sclerosis treatment also produces the crackle easily at the in-process of buckling, and the sclerosis layer on the flexible apron appears damaged easily, and is damaged when the sclerosis layer, and original flexible apron substrate suffers external action and further destroyed promptly easily.
Accordingly, there is a need to ameliorate one or more of the problems with the related art solutions described above.

Disclosure of Invention
An object of the embodiments of the present disclosure is to provide a glass cover plate, a flexible display screen, and a display device, thereby overcoming, at least to some extent, one or more of the problems due to the limitations and disadvantages of the related art.
According to a first aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a glass cover plate suitable for a flexible display screen, including:
a glass substrate, the glass substrate being bendable;
and the self-healing functional layer is coated on the surface of the glass substrate.
In one embodiment, the self-healing functional layer is applied to the surface of the glass substrate facing away from the side of the flexible display screen where the functional layer is displayed.
In one embodiment, the thickness of the self-healing functional layer is 5-100 μm, and in one embodiment, the thickness of the self-healing functional layer is greater than or equal to 5 μm and less than 50 μm.
In one embodiment, the glass substrate has a flexural strength of not less than 500 MPa.
In one embodiment, the thickness of the glass substrate is 30 to 200 μm.
In one embodiment, the self-healing functional layer comprises a transparent polymeric material that self-heals with hydrogen bonds or with nitroxide radicals.
In one embodiment, the self-healing functional layer comprises a transparent polymeric material that self-heals using a diels-alder reaction.
According to a second aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a flexible display screen including:
a display functional layer; and
the glass cover plate of the above embodiment is attached to the display function layer by an optical adhesive.
According to a second aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a display device including the flexible display screen according to the above embodiments.
The technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure can have the following beneficial effects:

The described features, structures, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments.

The same reference numerals in the drawings denote the same or similar parts, and thus their repetitive description will be omitted. In the exemplary embodiment, a glass cover plate suitable for a flexible display screen is provided. Referring to fig. 1, the glass cover plate may include a glass substrate 1 and a self-healing functional layer 2, wherein the glass substrate 1 may be bent, and the self-healing functional layer 2 is applied to a surface of the glass substrate 1.
Through the glass cover plate, on one hand, the bendable glass cover plate is used for replacing the existing polymer substrate flexible cover plate, the bending performance of the flexible cover plate is kept, and meanwhile, the rigidity of the cover plate is enhanced, so that the protection of a display screen is improved; on the other hand, the surface of the glass cover plate is coated with the self-healing functional layer, when the glass cover plate is scratched, the self-healing functional layer can self-heal, and the service life of the cover plate is prolonged; on the other hand, the surface of the glass cover plate is coated with the self-healing functional layer, when the glass cover plate is cracked due to large impact, the glass cannot generate fragments to splash and hurt people, and the use safety of the glass cover plate and the display screen is improved.
Next, each part of the above-described glass cover plate in the present exemplary embodiment will be described in more detail with reference to fig. 1 to 2.
The cover plate is generally used for covering a display functional layer of the display screen, and if the display functional layer of the display screen is covered with a layer of touch screen, the cover plate can also be used for covering the touch screen of the display screen so as to protect the display screen from being damaged by the external environment. The cover plate in the embodiment of the present disclosure is a glass cover plate, and the glass cover plate may include a glass substrate 1 and a self-healing functional layer 2 coated on a surface of the glass substrate 1. The glass base 1 can be bent, the existing high polymer substrate is replaced by the bendable glass substrate, and the bending performance of the existing flexible cover plate can be kept while the hardness of the cover plate is improved. In a specific example, referring to fig. 2, the self-healing functional layer 2 may be applied to a surface of the glass substrate 1 facing away from the side of the flexible display screen on which the functional layer 3 is displayed; in another specific example, the self-healing functional layer 2 may be applied to both surfaces of the glass substrate 1, that is, a surface of the glass substrate 1 facing away from the side of the flexible display screen on which the functional layer 3 is displayed and a surface of the glass substrate 1 facing the side of the flexible display screen on which the functional layer 3 is displayed, for protecting the glass substrate 1 and the display screen from the external environment.
In one embodiment, in order to improve the bending property of the glass cover plate, the flexural strength of the glass substrate 1 may be not less than 500 Mpa. In one embodiment, the thickness of the glass substrate 1 may be 30 to 200 μm. The thickness of the glass substrate 1 is not too thick, and too thick can cause the thickness of the glass cover plate to be too thick, and further cause the thickness of the flexible display screen to be too thick; the thickness of the glass substrate 1 is not too thin, which can affect the bending performance of the glass cover plate with large bending radius and can also affect the protection function of the glass cover plate on the flexible display screen.
In one embodiment, the thickness of the self-healing functional layer 2 may be 5 to 100 μm; further, the thickness of the self-healing functional layer may be greater than or equal to 5 μm and less than 50 μm. The thickness of the self-healing functional layer 2 is not too thick, and too thick can cause the thickness of the glass cover plate to be too thick, so that the thickness of the flexible display screen is too thick; the thickness of the self-healing functional layer 2 is not too thin, and the self-healing function of the self-healing functional layer 2 can be influenced by the thinness, so that the protection function of the self-healing functional layer 2 on the glass substrate and the display screen is further influenced.
In one embodiment, in order to ensure the display function of the flexible display screen, the self-healing functional layer 2 may transmit light. The self-healing functional layer 2 may include a self-healing material based on a reversible reaction, and for example, may include a transparent polymer material self-healing using a hydrogen bond, a nitroxide radical, or a diels-alder reaction, but is not limited thereto. In one specific example, the material that self-heals with hydrogen bonding, which may be, for example, a 2-ureido-4-pyrimidine (UPy) -terminated polystyrene-poly (n-butyl acrylate) block copolymer, self-heals with hydrogen bonding between terminal 2-ureido-4-pyrimidyl groups. In one specific example, the material self-healing with nitroxide radicals may be, for example, an alkoxy polyurethane, and self-healing is achieved with the nitroxide radical of an alkoxy group and the oxygen radical of an aminodiglycidyl ether.
In an embodiment, the flexible display screen includes the glass cover plate and the display functional layer 3 described in the above embodiment, wherein the glass cover plate is attached to the display functional layer 3 through an optical cement, the optical cement may be an OCA optical cement, which may specifically refer to the prior art and is not described herein again. In one embodiment, the flexible display screen may further include a touch screen, and the touch screen may be attached between the flexible cover plate and the display function layer 3 through the OCA optical cement.
There is also provided in this example embodiment a display device comprising the flexible display screen of the above example.
The flexible display screen and the display device both comprise the glass cover plate. Through the glass cover plate, the flexible display screen and the display device, on one hand, the bendable glass cover plate is used for replacing the existing polymer substrate flexible cover plate, the bending performance of the flexible cover plate is kept, and meanwhile, the rigidity of the cover plate is enhanced, so that the protection of the display screen is improved; on the other hand, the surface of the glass cover plate is coated with the self-healing functional layer, when the glass cover plate is scratched, the self-healing functional layer can self-heal, and the service life of the cover plate is prolonged; on the other hand, the surface of the glass cover plate is coated with the self-healing functional layer, when the glass cover plate is cracked due to large impact, the glass cannot generate fragments to splash and hurt people, and the use safety of the glass cover plate, the flexible display screen and the display device is improved.

1. A glass cover plate suitable for a flexible display screen, comprising:
a glass substrate, the glass substrate being bendable;
and the self-healing functional layer is coated on the surface of the glass substrate.
2. The glass cover sheet according to claim 1, wherein the self-healing functional layer is applied to a surface of the glass substrate facing away from a side of the flexible display screen on which the functional layer is displayed.
3. The glass cover plate according to claim 1, wherein the self-healing functional layer has a thickness of 5 to 100 μm.
4. The glass cover plate according to claim 3, wherein the self-healing functional layer has a thickness of less than 50 μm.
5. The glass cover sheet according to claim 1, wherein the glass substrate has a flexural strength of not less than 500 Mpa.
6. The glass cover plate according to claim 5, wherein the glass substrate has a thickness of 30 to 200 μm.
7. The glass cover plate according to claim 1, wherein the self-healing functional layer comprises a transparent polymer material that self-heals with hydrogen bonds or with nitroxide radicals.
8. The glass cover plate according to claim 1, wherein the self-healing functional layer comprises a transparent polymer material that self-heals using a diels-alder reaction.
9. A flexible display screen, comprising:
a display functional layer; and
the glass cover plate according to any one of claims 1 to 8, which is attached to the display function layer by an optical adhesive.
10. A display device characterized by comprising the flexible display screen according to claim 9.
