A display device with a fingerprint recognition module, comprising: a display panel having a fingerprint identification area; the light shielding layer is arranged on the back surface of the display panel and is provided with a light transmission area corresponding to the fingerprint identification area; the fingerprint identification module is arranged corresponding to the light transmission area and is attached to the shading layer through an adhesive layer; and the bottom frame comprises a bottom plate and a plurality of side plates connected with the bottom plate, the bottom plate and the side plates jointly form a containing space with an opening, and the back surface of the display panel is jointed with the side plates to close the opening. Technical Field
The invention relates to a display device with a fingerprint identification module.
Background
The existing full-screen mobile phone comprises a bottom frame, a bearing plate and a display panel which are sequentially stacked, wherein a circuit board, a battery and the like are accommodated in the bottom frame. The front of the display screen of the full-screen mobile phone is provided with a fingerprint identification area, so that a fingerprint identification module is arranged below the display panel. However, along with the trend of mobile phone design, the electric energy demand increases, the battery volume increases, the distance between the bearing plate and the display panel also decreases, and the position where the fingerprint identification module can be arranged is limited. The existing method is to provide a through hole or a groove on the bearing plate to at least partially accommodate the fingerprint identification module, however, the assembly strength of the method is not high and the manufacturing cost is increased.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the foregoing, it is necessary to provide a display device with a fingerprint recognition module, including:
a display panel having a fingerprint identification area;
the light shielding layer is arranged on the back surface of the display panel and is provided with a light transmission area corresponding to the fingerprint identification area;
the fingerprint identification module is arranged corresponding to the light transmission area and is attached to the shading layer through an adhesive layer; and
the bottom frame comprises a bottom plate and a plurality of side plates connected with the bottom plate, the bottom plate and the side plates jointly form a containing space with an opening, and the back surface of the display panel is jointed with the side plates to close the opening.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the fingerprint identification module is attached to the back surface of the display panel through the adhesive layer, so that the strength of the display device is effectively improved, and the preparation cost is reduced.

Referring to fig. 1, a display device 100 with fingerprint recognition function in the present embodiment is a mobile phone. It is understood that the display device 100 is not limited to a mobile phone, but may be a display device such as a tablet computer or a notebook computer. The display area 110 of the display device 100 defines a fingerprint recognition area 130.
Referring to fig. 2, the display device 100 includes a bottom frame 10, a display panel 30, and a fingerprint recognition module 50.
Referring to fig. 2, the bottom frame 10 has a receiving space 101 with an opening 103. In the present embodiment, the bottom frame 10 has a substantially rectangular frame shape, and the bottom frame 10 includes a bottom plate 11 and side plates 13 vertically connected to the periphery of the bottom plate 11. The bottom plate 11 and the side plate 13 cooperate to form a receiving space 101 with an opening 103, and the opening 103 faces the bottom plate 11. The bottom plate 11 is substantially rectangular, and the number of corresponding side plates 13 is four. The material of the bottom frame 10 may be plastic, metal or alloy.
As shown in fig. 2, a display panel 30 is located at one side of the bottom frame 10 and is engaged with the plurality of side plates 13 to close the opening 103. The display panel 30 is a self-luminous display panel, such as an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display panel, a micro Light Emitting Diode (LED) display panel, or the like.
The display panel 30 has a fingerprint recognition area 130. The surface of the display panel 30 away from the bottom frame 10 is formed as a display surface 31, and the surface near the bottom frame 10 is a back surface 33. The back surface 33 of the display panel 30 is covered with a light shielding layer 40. The light shielding layer 40 is provided to prevent light leakage from the rear surface 33 of the display panel 30. The light shielding layer 40 may be light shielding foam, is light, soft, elastic, and not easy to transfer heat, has functions of shock prevention, impact alleviation, heat insulation, etc., and can effectively protect the display panel 30. The light shielding layer 40 may be made of graphite or the like for heat dissipation or a metal layer (e.g., copper layer) for static electricity conduction. The light shielding layer 40 has a light transmitting area 41 corresponding to the fingerprint identification area 130, and the light transmitting area 41 is located opposite to the fingerprint identification module 50, so that the light shielding layer 40 does not shield the fingerprint identification module 50. In this embodiment, the light-transmitting area 41 is at least one through hole formed in the light-shielding layer 40, and the number of the through holes is not limited, and may be one or more, so as to ensure that the luminous flux reaches more than 85%. The thickness of the light shielding layer 40 is 5 to 500 μm.
The light shielding layer 40 of the display panel 30 is provided with a glue layer 35, and the glue layer 35 surrounds the periphery of the fingerprint recognition module 50. The fingerprint recognition module 50 is attached to the light shielding layer 40 through an adhesive layer 35. The main component of the adhesive layer 35 may be polyester adhesive. The thickness of the glue layer 35 is 5-500 μm.
As shown in fig. 2, the display device 100 further includes a carrier plate 20. The carrying plate 20 is disposed in the accommodating space 101 of the bottom frame 10. The carrying plate 20 is a flat plate, and the carrying plate 20 is located between the bottom plate 11 and the display panel 30; the carrier plate 20 is spaced apart from the display panel 30, and the carrier plate 20 is spaced apart from the chassis 11. The area size of the carrier plate 20 can completely cover the display panel 30. The carrier 20 is used for carrying circuits and electronic components, such as a battery 70, a circuit board 60, a camera module 80, etc. In this embodiment, the distance between the carrier plate 20 and the display panel 30 is 700-800 μm. The fingerprint recognition module 50 is disposed between the carrier 20 and the display panel 30, and the carrier 20 does not need to be provided with holes or grooves. The carrying board 20 is equivalent to dividing the accommodating space 101 into two independent parts, wherein the circuit board 60, the battery 70 and the camera module 80 are located in a part of the accommodating space 101 near the bottom board 11, and the fingerprint recognition module 50 is located in another part of the accommodating space 101 near the display panel 30. A camera hole (not shown) is also formed in the area of the base plate 11 facing the camera module 80.
The fingerprint recognition module 50 has an upper surface facing the display panel 30 and a lower surface facing the carrier 20, and the fingerprint recognition module 50 is provided with a buffer material 51 on at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface. In this embodiment, a buffer material 51 is disposed between the fingerprint recognition module 50 and the display panel 30, i.e. the buffer material 51 is disposed on the upper surface, and the buffer material 51 is located at the periphery of the fingerprint recognition module 50. The buffer material 51 is abutted against the back surface 33 of the display panel 30. The buffer material 51 may be foam, and has the functions of shock prevention, impact alleviation, heat insulation, etc., so as to effectively protect the fingerprint identification module 50. The buffer material 51 is spaced apart from the light shielding layer 40 on the display panel 30.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, in the present embodiment, the fingerprint recognition module 50 is an optical fingerprint recognition module 50, which includes a substrate 53, a complementary metal oxide semiconductor (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor, CMOS) chip 55 disposed on the substrate 53, and a Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) optical switch 57 disposed on the CMOS chip 55. CMOS chip 55 is also connected to flexible circuit board 61 by metal leads 59. MEMS optical switch 57 comprises an array of micro mirrors (not shown). MEMS optical switch 57 may also be replaced with a microlens.
The substrate 53 may be made of glass, polyimide (PI), polyethylene terephthalate (Polythylene terephthalate, PET), ceramics, quartz, sapphire, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, or the like.
The surface of the substrate 53 on which the CMOS chip is disposed is also provided with a support layer 63. The support layer 63 surrounds the CMOS chip 55 and the MEMS optical switch 57 to increase the strength and stiffness of the fingerprint recognition module 50. The material of the supporting layer 63 may be stainless steel, but is not limited to stainless steel. Specifically, the buffer material 51 is disposed between the display panel 30 and the supporting layer 63. The thickness of the fingerprint identification module 50 is 50-1000 μm.
As shown in fig. 2, the camera module 80 has a lens 81, in this embodiment, the lens 81 is disposed on a side opposite to the carrier 20, and the bottom plate 11 of the bottom frame 10 has an opening (not shown) corresponding to the lens 81. It should be understood that in other embodiments, the lens 81 may be disposed on a side facing the carrier 20, and the carrier 20 and the light shielding layer 40 have an opening (not shown) corresponding to the lens 81.

Referring to fig. 5, a display device 200 of the second embodiment is substantially the same as the display device 100 of the first embodiment: also comprises a bottom frame 10, a bearing plate 20, a display panel 30 and a fingerprint identification module 50; it differs from the display device 100 of the first embodiment in that: not only is a buffer material 51 disposed between the fingerprint recognition module 50 and the display panel 30, but also another buffer material 51 is disposed between the fingerprint recognition module 50 and the carrier 20, i.e. the upper surface and the lower surface are respectively provided with the buffer material 51, and the buffer material 51 on the lower surface is propped against the carrier 20. Each buffer material 51 is located at the periphery of the fingerprint recognition module 50.
It should be understood that the buffer material 51 between the fingerprint recognition module 50 and the carrier 20 may be omitted, and a protrusion (not shown) is disposed on the carrier 20, and the protrusion is used for carrying the fingerprint recognition module 50 and is abutted against the fingerprint recognition module 50.
In the embodiment of the invention, the proper interval between the display panel 30 and the bearing plate 20 is set, and the fingerprint identification module 50 is arranged between the display panel 30 and the bearing plate 20, so that holes or grooves are not required to be formed on the bearing plate 20, the strength of the display device 100 is effectively improved, and the preparation cost is reduced.

a display panel having a fingerprint identification area;
the light shielding layer is arranged on the back surface of the display panel and is provided with a light transmission area corresponding to the fingerprint identification area;
the fingerprint identification module is arranged corresponding to the light transmission area and is attached to the shading layer through an adhesive layer; and
a bottom frame, comprising a bottom plate and a plurality of side plates connected with the bottom plate, wherein the bottom plate and the side plates jointly form a containing space with an opening, and the back surface of the display panel is jointed with the side plates to close the opening;
the bottom frame is internally provided with a bearing plate which is used for bearing a circuit and an electronic component; the fingerprint identification module is arranged between the bearing plate and the display panel.
2. The display device of claim 1, wherein the glue layer surrounds a perimeter of the fingerprint recognition module.
3. The display device of claim 1, wherein the fingerprint recognition module has an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to each other, the upper surface facing the display panel, the lower surface facing the carrier plate, and the fingerprint recognition module is provided with a buffer material on at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface.
4. The display device of claim 3, wherein when the buffer material is disposed on the upper surface of the fingerprint recognition module, the buffer material abuts against the back surface of the display panel.
5. The display device of claim 3, wherein when the buffer material is disposed on the lower surface of the fingerprint recognition module, the buffer material abuts against the carrier plate.
6. The display device of claim 1, wherein the carrier has a protrusion for carrying the fingerprint recognition module and abutting against the fingerprint recognition module.
7. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the light shielding layer has at least one through hole corresponding to the light transmitting region so that the luminous flux is more than 85%.
8. The display device of claim 1, wherein the electronic assembly comprises a camera module having a lens disposed on a side opposite to the carrier, the bottom plate of the bottom frame having an opening corresponding to the lens; or alternatively
