Detailed Description
(1) Examples of the embodiments
(1.1) overview
As shown in fig. 1, a toilet apparatus 1 according to an exemplary embodiment is mounted on a mounting surface 100. The toilet apparatus 1 includes a base 2 to be mounted on a mounting surface 100, a toilet body 4, a water supply unit 32 (see fig. 2), a dirt crushing unit (see fig. 2), an inlet line breaker 81 (see fig. 6), and an outlet line breaker 91 (see fig. 6).

The base 2 is a member to which one or more units 3 are attached, and the base 2 is to be mounted on the mounting surface 100. The outer peripheral portion 22 is a portion formed continuously with the outer periphery of the bottom plate 21. The outer peripheral portion 22 is formed integrally with the upper surface of the bottom plate 21. In this embodiment, the peripheral portion 22 includes an upright surface 221, a mounting surface 222, a plurality of through holes 223, and a plurality of attachment holes 224.
The standing surface 221 is a surface standing along the outer periphery of the bottom plate 21 when viewed from above the toilet apparatus 1 (i.e., when viewed in a plan view). In this embodiment, the upright surface 221 is a plane parallel to the vertical plane. The upright surface 221 prevents water received at the floor 21 from spilling into the mounting surface 100. As used herein, "vertical plane" refers to a plane that intersects the mounting surface 100 at a right angle. Further, as used herein, if something is "parallel" to another, the angle formed between two straight lines on the same plane (or between two planes in the same space, or between one straight line and one plane) may fall within the range of 0 degrees to 10 degrees.
Note that, in this embodiment, the upright surface 221 is assumed to be a plane parallel to the vertical plane. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Instead, the upright surface 221 need only be upright relative to the upper surface of the base plate 21, and may define an inclination angle relative to a vertical plane, or may have a curved or stepped shape when taken along a vertical plane.
The mounting surface 222 is a surface on which the toilet body 4 is mounted. The mounting surface 222 only needs to mount the toilet body 4 thereon, and may have a plurality of openings as shown in fig. 3A. In this embodiment, the mounting surface 222 is parallel to the mounting surface 100 and perpendicular to the upright surface 221. The through hole 223 is a hole through which a fixing member passes to mount the base 2 to the mounting surface 100. Through holes 223 are provided in the rear and left and right ends of the center of the base 2 in the front/rear direction, respectively. The upper end face of the rim 61 is a flat surface, as shown in fig. 1, on which the toilet seat 13 rests. The toilet seat 13 and the lid 14 are mounted to the rear lid 66 so as to be rotatable about an axis parallel to the left/right direction.
The bowl 62 receives waste discharged by the user and discharges the waste through a waste outlet 621 (see fig. 6). The bedpan 62 has an open plane on its upper surface and is formed in a cup shape. A rearwardly opening cylindrical portion is provided at the lower end of the bowl 62. At the rear end of the cylindrical portion is a dirt outlet 621.
The water inlet nozzle 63 supplies water into the bedpan 62. The water inlet nozzle 63 is connected to the water supply unit 32 through the water inlet line 8. The front end surface of the water inlet nozzle 63 defines a water inlet 631 through which water flows out. In other words, the water inlet 631 supplies water into the bedpan 62.
Skirt 64 supports bowl 62 thereon. As shown in fig. 2, the skirt 64 is formed to have a substantially horizontal U-shaped cross section. On the inner peripheral surface of skirt portion 64, a plurality of longitudinal ribs 641 are provided. At a level slightly lower than the upper end of skirt 64, bowl 62 is supported by longitudinal rib 641 such that edge 61 is attached to the upper end of skirt 64. The edge 61 and the skirt 64 are integrally formed by welding.
When the user sits himself or herself on the toilet seat 13, the load is applied downward via the edge 61. However, the load is borne by the longitudinal ribs 641 of the skirt 64. The rear and lower ends of the skirt 64 are fixed to the frame 5, and thus can effectively receive the load from the edge 61.
The pair of side covers 65 is removably attached to the frame 5. The side cover 65 covers the coupling portion 511. Accordingly, removing the side cover 65 from the frame 5 exposes the coupling portion 511, as shown in fig. 7A. This allows a user or serviceman to easily remove the frame 5 from the base 2 simply by removing the side covers 65 from the frame 5.
The rear cover 66 is attached to the support portion 54 of the frame 5. The rear cover 66 forms an upper portion of the rear end portion of the toilet apparatus 1. In this embodiment, rear cap 66 houses a back flow check structure 661, as shown in fig. 6. A back flow check structure 661 is provided midway in the water inlet line 8.
The waste collector 67 forms a water seal in the bowl 62. The water seal 622 is water stored in the bowl 62 to prevent the backflow of bad smells from the discharge pipe and also to prevent sanitary insects from trying to enter the bowl 62 of the toilet. The waste collector 67 is attached to the waste outlet 621 of the bowl 62. In this embodiment, the dirt trap 67 is a so-called "S-trap". A dirt catcher 67 is provided midway in the dirt outlet line 9. In other words, the filth collector 67 is connected to the filth pulverization unit 31 through the filth outlet line 9.
(1.2.4) rear cover
A rear cover 7 is attached to the rear end of the base 2. The rear cover 7 covers the rear opening plane 56 of the frame 5. The rear cover 7 is not fixed to the frame 5. Therefore, even when the frame 5 is removed from the base 2, the rear cover 7 is attached to the base 2. The rear cover 7 is located behind the toilet body 4. As shown in fig. 2, the rear cover 7 includes a holding portion 71, and the holding portion 71 is used to hold at least a part of the tube 10 forming the dirt outlet line 9. Alternatively, the holding portion 71 may hold at least a portion of the tube 10 forming the water inlet line 8. In other words, the rear cover 7 may hold the dirt outlet line 9 or the water inlet line 8, as appropriate.
(1.2.5) Water inlet line and waste outlet line
The water inlet line 8 is a passage connecting the water inlet line connector 12 to the water inlet 631, as shown in fig. 6. The water inlet line 8 is provided with a water supply unit 32. On the water inlet line 8, an inlet line breaker 81 is provided between the water supply unit 32 and the water inlet 631, more specifically, between the water supply unit 32 and the backflow preventing structure 661.
An inlet line breaker 81 is provided for the water inlet line 8 to disconnect the water supply unit 32 from the water inlet 631. In this embodiment, the inlet line disconnect 81 is a joint fixed to the toilet body 4. The pipe 10 connected between the joint and the water supply unit 32 is removable with respect to the joint.
In this embodiment, the inlet line disconnect 81 is implemented as a fitting. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the inlet line disconnect 81 may also be implemented as a socket, coupling fitting or one-touch fitting that allows a user to remove the tube 10 with a single operation. In this embodiment, the inlet line disconnect 81 is fixed to the toilet body 4. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the inlet line disconnect 81 may also be configured such that the pipe 10 is removable from the water supply unit 32 or such that the pipe 10 may be disconnected midway.
For example, the tube 10 may be implemented as a bendable tube, a flexible hose, a hard rubber tube, or a flexible tube made of a metal material.
The dirt outlet line 9 is a passage that connects the outlet line connector 11 to the dirt outlet 621 as described above. The sewage outlet line 9 is provided with a sewage crushing unit 31. On the soil outlet line 9, an outlet line disconnect 91 is provided between the soil pulverizing unit 31 and the soil outlet 621 (more specifically, between the soil pulverizing unit 31 and the soil collector 67).
An outlet line disconnect 91 is provided for the soil outlet line 9 to disconnect the soil pulverizing unit 31 from the soil outlet 621. In this embodiment, the outlet line disconnect 91 is implemented as a fitting fixed to the dirt crushing unit 31. The joint and the dirt collector 67 are attached so as to be removable from each other.
In this embodiment, the outlet line disconnect 91 is implemented as a fitting. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the outlet line disconnect 91 may also be implemented as a socket, a coupling joint, or a one-touch joint that allows the user to remove the tube 10 with a single operation. In this embodiment, the outlet line disconnect 91 is fixed to the dirt crushing unit 31. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the pipe 10 may be disposed between the filth pulverization unit 31 and the filth collector 67 such that the outlet line breaker 91 may be separated midway on the pipe 10.
(1.2.6) how to remove the toilet body
When the toilet apparatus 1 having the above-described structure needs maintenance, for example, the toilet body 4 can be removed from the pedestal 2 in the following manner. First, as shown in fig. 7A, a user or a serviceman (hereinafter, referred to as "user" for convenience) removes the side cover 65 from the frame 5. Then, the coupling portion 511, the inlet-line disconnect 81, and the outlet-line disconnect 91 are exposed. The user removes the fixing member connecting the base 2 to the coupling portion 511, that is, the fixing member connecting the base 2 to the base 51 of the frame 5. In addition, the user disconnects the water supply unit 32 and the soil pulverizing unit 31 from the toilet body 4 by operating the inlet line disconnector 81 and the outlet line disconnector 91. Note that, in this state, the lower end portion of the front end of the toilet body 4 remains caught on the catch member 27 of the pedestal 2. In addition, in this state, the water supply unit 32 and the soil pulverizing unit 31 are located above the lower opening plane 55 and in front of the rear opening plane 56. As used herein, when the water supply unit 32 and the filth pulverization unit 31 are located "above" the lower opening plane 55, the water supply unit 32 or the filth pulverization unit 31 may overlap the lower opening plane 55. Further, as used herein, when both the water supply unit 32 and the soil pulverizing unit 31 are located "in front" of the rear opening plane 56, the water supply unit 32 or the soil pulverizing unit 31 may overlap the rear opening plane 56.
Next, as shown in fig. 7B, the user moves the toilet body 4 forward with respect to the base 2. This disengages the lower end portion at the front end of the toilet body 4 from the engagement with the catch member 27, thereby enabling the toilet body 4 to move upward. The frame 5 has a rear opening plane 56. Therefore, even if the unit 31 remains attached to the base 2, the toilet body 4 can move relative to the base 2.
In this state, the user moves the toilet body 4 upward. In the frame 5, the opening space of the rear opening plane 56 communicates with the opening space of the lower opening plane 55. This allows the user to move the toilet body 4 forward and upward with respect to the base 2.
Removal of the toilet body 4 from above the base 2 facilitates servicing of the unit 3. In addition, the base 2 has a bottom plate 21, and thus can receive water leaking from the inlet line disconnector 81 or the outlet line disconnector 91, as well as water leaking when the unit 3 is serviced upside down. Therefore, the toilet apparatus 1 according to the embodiment allows the user to more easily perform maintenance of the unit 3.
(2) Variants
Note that the above-described embodiments are merely examples of various embodiments of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Rather, the exemplary embodiments can be readily modified in various ways depending on design choices or any other factors without departing from the scope of the present disclosure. Next, modifications of the exemplary embodiment will be enumerated in order. Any of the modifications described below may be used in combination as appropriate.
In the toilet apparatus 1 according to the above-described embodiment, the shut valve, which is fixed to the wall 101 of the toilet and serves as the water inlet member 102, and the water inlet line connector 12 are connected together through the inlet line. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the pipe extending from the water supply source may be directly connected to the inlet line connector 12 of the toilet apparatus 1.
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the toilet body 4 is removably attached to the mounting surface 222 of the base 2. Alternatively, the toilet body 4 may be removably attached to the side of the base 2. Still alternatively, the frame 5 of the toilet body 4 may be located outside the base 2 and may be removably attached to the mounting surface 100. In other words, at least a part of the toilet body 4 may be located above the base 2.
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the water supply unit 32 and the soil pulverizing unit 31 are both attached to the bottom plate 21. Alternatively, one of the water supply unit 32 or the dirt crushing unit 31 may be attached to the bottom plate 21, and the other may be attached to a cross beam bridging the peripheral portion 22. Still alternatively, both the water supply unit 32 and the dirt crushing unit 31 may be attached to a cross beam that bridges the outer peripheral portion 22. That is, the unit 3 does not have to be attached to the bottom plate 21.
In the above embodiment, the water supplied into the bedpan 62 is tap water. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the water supplied to the bedpan 62 may be water to which detergent has been added midway through the water inlet line 8.
(3) Aspect(s)
As can be seen from the above description of the embodiments, the toilet apparatus (1) according to the first aspect includes: a base (2) to be mounted on a mounting surface (100); and a toilet body (4) to be set on the base (2). The toilet body (4) includes: a bedpan (62) for receiving and discharging waste through a waste outlet (621); and a water inlet (631) that supplies water into the bowl (62). The toilet device (1) further comprises a water supply unit (32), a waste crushing unit (31), an inlet line disconnector (81) and an outlet line disconnector (91). A water supply unit (32) is attached to the base (2) and connected to the water inlet (631) by a water inlet line (8). The water supply unit (32) selectively supplies or stops the supply of water to the water inlet (631). A dirt comminution unit (31) is attached to the base (2) and is connected to the dirt outlet (621) by a dirt outlet line (9). The soil pulverizing unit (31) pulverizes the soil discharged through the soil outlet (621) into pieces. An inlet line disconnect (81) disconnects the water supply unit (32) from the water inlet (631). An outlet line disconnect (91) disconnects the dirt comminution unit (31) from the dirt outlet (621).
This aspect allows the toilet body (4) to move relative to the base (2) after the water supply unit (32) has been disconnected from the toilet body (4) by the water inlet line disconnect (81), and after the waste crushing unit (31) has been disconnected from the toilet body (4) by the outlet line disconnect (91). At this time, the water supply unit (32) and the filth pulverization unit (31) may remain attached to the base (2), thereby enabling the service man to easily move the toilet body (4). This facilitates maintenance of, for example, the water supply unit (32) or the dirt crushing unit (31).
In a toilet device (1) according to the second aspect, which may be implemented in combination with the first aspect, a toilet body (4) is removably attached to the base (2).
This aspect eliminates the need to attach the toilet body (4) directly to the mounting surface (100) when mounting the toilet apparatus (1) to the mounting surface (100).
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the third aspect, which may be implemented in combination with the first or second aspect, the base (2) includes a bottom plate (21) that faces the installation surface (100).
This aspect allows, for example, receiving water at the bottom plate (21) even when water flows out from at least one of the water supply unit (32) or the dirt crushing unit (31) during maintenance, thereby reducing water spillage onto the mounting surface (100).
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the fourth aspect, which may be implemented in combination with the third aspect, at least one of the water supply unit (32) or the filth pulverization unit (31) is attached to the floor panel (21).
This aspect simplifies the attachment structure of at least one of the water supply unit (32) or the dirt crushing unit (31).
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the fifth aspect, which may be embodied in combination with the third or fourth aspect, the base (2) includes an upright surface (221) that stands along the periphery of the bottom plate (21).
When water flowing out of at least one of the water supply unit (32) or the dirt crushing unit (31) is received at the bottom plate (21), this aspect reduces the chance of the received water flowing out from the bottom plate (21) toward the mounting surface (100).
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the sixth aspect, which may be implemented in combination with the fifth aspect, the base (2) has a through hole (223) provided outside the standing surface (221), and the base (2) is attached to the mounting surface (100) via a fixing member that passes through the through hole (223).
This aspect prevents water received at the bottom plate (21) from flowing to the outside of the upright surface (211) when the base (2) is mounted on the mounting surface (100) by the fixing member, thereby reducing the chance of water flowing along the fixing member toward the mounting surface (100).
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the seventh aspect, which may be implemented in combination with any one of the first to sixth aspects, the toilet body (4) includes a frame (5) and a side cover (65). The frame (5) comprises a coupling portion (511) and is attached to the base (2) at the coupling portion (511) to be removable. The side cover (65) is removable from the frame (5) and covers the coupling portion (511).
This aspect facilitates work at the coupling portion (511) because the coupling portion (511) can be exposed simply by removing the side cover (65), thereby making it easy to remove the toilet body (4) from the base (2).
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the eighth aspect, which may be implemented in combination with any one of the first to seventh aspects, the toilet body (4) includes a dirt catcher (67) connected to the dirt outlet (621) and provided for the dirt outlet line (9). An outlet line disconnect (91) is provided between the dirt collector (67) and the dirt comminution unit (31).
This aspect allows the toilet body (4) to move while maintaining the water seal formed by the waste trap (67).
Note that the constituent elements according to the second to eighth aspects are not essential constituent elements of the toilet apparatus (1), but may be omitted as appropriate.

Claims (8)

1. A toilet device, comprising:
a base configured to be mounted on a mounting surface; and
a toilet body configured to be disposed on the base,
the toilet body includes:
a bowl configured to receive waste and discharge the waste through a waste outlet; and
a water inlet configured to supply water to the bowl,
the toilet apparatus further includes:
a water supply unit attached to the base, connected to the water inlet through a water inlet line, and configured to selectively supply or stop water supply to the water inlet;
a dirt crushing unit attached to the base, connected to the dirt outlet through a dirt outlet line, and configured to crush the dirt discharged through the dirt outlet into pieces;
an inlet line disconnect configured to disconnect the water supply unit from the water inlet; and
an outlet line disconnect configured to disconnect the dirt shredder unit from the dirt outlet.
2. Toilet device according to claim 1, wherein
The toilet body is removably attached to the base.
3. Toilet device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein
The base includes a bottom plate facing the mounting surface.
4. Toilet device according to claim 3, wherein
At least one of the water supply unit or the soil pulverizing unit is attached to the bottom plate.
5. Toilet device according to claim 3 or 4, wherein
The base includes an upstanding surface upstanding along a periphery of the floor.

The toilet body comprises a waste collector connected to the waste outlet and provided for the waste outlet line, and
the outlet line disconnect is disposed between the dirt collector and the dirt comminution unit.
