The automobile diagnosis system has the diagnosis functions of detecting and diagnosing various performance parameters of the automobile indoors, finding out possible fault conditions and the like, and provides reliable basis for comprehensively and accurately evaluating the service performance and technical conditions of the automobile. The automobile diagnosis system comprises an automobile diagnosis client and a server, wherein the client can be installed in a 4S store to provide an automobile diagnosis function for the 4S store; the server is used for developing and updating the automobile diagnosis function of the client, and technical developers upload an upgrade package of the client to the server, so that the client can request the upgrade package from the server and upgrade the automobile diagnosis function or configure a new diagnosis function.
After the 4S store installs the client, the provider of the client needs to provide after-market services for the 4S store using the client. With the continuous development and soundness of automobile electronics, more and more suppliers choose to remodel after-sales services, and when a client is connected with a server through a network, the client can acquire an upgrade package from the server and upgrade the upgrade package. However, when the client of the 4S store is not used in a network, or the server has a version update of the client, the client is not selected for updating, which results in that a part of diagnosis functions do not support the current client, and a diagnosis error problem may occur in the use process of the client. When the problems are caused by the fact that the client is not used in a networking mode, the 4S shop can only contact after-sales, so that time for automobile diagnosis is wasted, and after-sales cost is increased.

Detailed Description
The embodiment of the application provides a client use control method, a client and a computer storage medium, which are used for controlling the upgrading of the client and the use of the client.
Referring to fig. 1, in an embodiment of the present application, a network architecture includes:
terminal 101, server 102, network 103.
The terminal 101 may establish a connection with the server 102 through the network 103 and perform data interaction and data transmission after establishing the network connection. The network 103 is typically a wireless network, but may also be a wired network, and if the network is a wireless network, the type of the network may be a cellular wireless network, a WiFi network, or another type of wireless network. In the case of a wired network, the network is typically in the form of a fiber optic network.
The server 102 may be an independent physical server, a server cluster or a distributed system formed by a plurality of physical servers, or a cloud server providing basic cloud computing services such as a cloud database, cloud computing, big data, an artificial intelligence platform, and the like. The terminal 101 may be a smart phone, tablet, laptop portable computer, desktop computer, self-service terminal, and wearable electronic device.
In the network architecture, the user 104 may input any executable operation instruction to the terminal 101, and the terminal 101 may execute a corresponding processing operation according to the operation instruction and feed back a processing result to the user 104, thereby implementing man-machine interaction.
It should be noted that the present network architecture only exemplifies one terminal 101 and one server 102, but the present network architecture may also have more terminals and/or servers to participate, which is not limited herein.
The following describes a method for controlling usage of a client in an embodiment of the present application with reference to the network framework of fig. 1:
referring to fig. 2, an embodiment of a method for controlling usage of a client in an embodiment of the present application includes:
201. checking the connection state of the client and the server;
in this embodiment, the client may be used in an unconnected state, that is, the user may use a client of a single-version client, but the unconnected use of the client may affect the upgrade update of the client, so as to avoid that the client misses the upgrade update and causes that a part of functions are not supported and the use of the client is affected, and when the client is started, it needs to check whether the client is connected to the network or not, and whether a network connection is established with the server.
202. When the client does not establish network connection with the server, calculating a target duration from a networking time point stored when the client establishes network connection with the server last time to a current time point;
when the client side does not establish network connection with the server, the networking time point stored when the client side establishes network connection with the server last time is obtained, and the target duration between the networking time point and the current time point is calculated. The networking time point refers to a time point in a period when the client establishes network connection with the server, and preferably, the networking time point is a time point when the client breaks network connection at one time.
For example, the networking time point saved by the client when the last established a network connection with the server is 2020-9-810:00, if the current time point is 2020-9-1211:00, the target time length is 4 days and zero 1 hour.
Therefore, the target duration represents the duration of the time period when the client and the server are disconnected from the network, if the duration is long, normal information exchange between the client and the server may be affected, for example, the client cannot acquire a software upgrade package of the client from the server, so that update and upgrade cannot be performed, and use of some functions of the client may be abnormal or newly developed functions may not be used; it will also affect the uploading of data by the client to the server.
203. If the target time length is greater than the preset time length threshold, prompting a user to establish network connection between the client and the server;
after the target duration is calculated, judging whether the target duration exceeds a preset duration threshold, if so, indicating that the client has not been connected with the server for a long time, and prompting a user to establish network connection between the client and the server so as to facilitate the client to acquire a software upgrading packet from the server, update and upgrade the client, and also facilitate the client to upload data to the server, thereby ensuring normal operation of information transmission.
Following the example illustrated in step 202, if the preset duration threshold is set to 3 days, the target duration for the client to disconnect from the server has exceeded the preset duration threshold, and the user will be prompted to network.
204. If the target duration is smaller than the preset duration threshold, allowing the user to use the client;
if the target duration is less than the preset duration threshold, it indicates that the duration of disconnecting the client from the server is still within an acceptable range, and the client and the server may not need to perform related data transmission and data interaction in a short time, so that the user may be allowed to use the client without the client being networked (i.e., without establishing a network connection with the server).
In this embodiment, when the target time period when the client does not establish the network connection with the server is longer than the preset time period threshold, the data interaction and transmission between the client and the server are affected, so that the user is prompted to establish the network connection between the client and the server, the client can acquire the software upgrade package from the server, and further upgrade update is performed, and meanwhile, the problem that part of functions of the client are not supported after upgrade update is solved, so that the user does not need to request after-sales service of the client, and after-sales cost is saved.
Embodiments of the present application will be described in further detail below on the basis of the foregoing embodiment shown in fig. 2. Referring to fig. 3, another embodiment of a method for controlling client usage in an embodiment of the present application includes:
301. checking the connection state of the client and the server;
302. when the client does not establish network connection with the server, calculating a target duration from a networking time point stored when the client establishes network connection with the server last time to a current time point;
303. if the target time length is greater than the preset time length threshold, prompting a user to establish network connection between the client and the server;
the operations performed in steps 301 to 303 are similar to those performed in steps 201 to 203 in the embodiment shown in fig. 2 described above. In this embodiment, the client may be any type of client, and in one implementation manner, the client may be a vehicle diagnostic system client, and a user may use the vehicle diagnostic system client to perform a series of operations such as vehicle diagnosis, where the client may be used in a network or in a stand-alone manner, that is, in a case of disconnecting the network, where the stand-alone manner cannot receive a software upgrade package of the client and cannot perform upgrade update, so that the stand-alone manner may cause that a part of vehicle diagnostic functions are not supported and affect use of the client.
In step 303, when the client does not establish a network connection with the server and the target time period is longer than the preset time period threshold, it indicates that the client has not been in network connection with the server for a long time, which greatly affects information communication between the client and the server, and the server may already have a software upgrade package of the client, and the client cannot be updated in real time due to the fact that the client is not in network connection for a long time, which affects use of the client.
304. If the target duration is smaller than the preset duration threshold, allowing the user to use the client;
the operations performed by this step are similar to those performed by step 204 in the embodiment of fig. 2 described above. In this embodiment, a developer of the software upgrade package of the client may upload the software upgrade package after development to the server, and then the server issues the software upgrade package to each client. Meanwhile, the developer may also preset the preset duration threshold on the server, for example, set the preset duration threshold to 3 days, 4 days, or other durations. And then, when the client establishes network connection with the server, the client can acquire the preset duration threshold value from the server.
In addition, the preset duration threshold may also be set by the client, for example, the client may provide a plurality of duration thresholds for 3 days, 4 days, 5 days, and so on, and then the user selects one of the duration thresholds to set. The setting manner of the preset duration threshold is not limited in this embodiment.
305. When the client establishes network connection with the server, determining that the server has a software upgrade package of the client;
when the client is started, whether the client establishes network connection with the server is determined, and if the network connection is established, the client inquires the server whether the server has a software upgrade package of the client. If the server does not have the software upgrade package of the client, the current version of the client is the latest version, and the user can directly use the client without upgrading and updating. If the server has the software upgrade package of the client, the client needs to update according to the software upgrade package.
306. Acquiring a software upgrading package issued by a server, and upgrading and updating a client according to the software upgrading package;
after determining that the server has the software upgrade package of the client, downloading the software upgrade package from the server, and updating the client according to the software upgrade package.
In this embodiment, a developer of the software upgrade package may preset an attribute of the software upgrade package on the server, where the attribute includes a forced upgrade attribute and a non-forced upgrade attribute, and the forced upgrade attribute refers to whether the client needs to be forced upgraded, and does not need a user to select whether to execute upgrade of the client; the optional upgrade attribute then indicates whether the upgrade of the client may be selected by the user to be performed. The software upgrade package of the forced upgrade attribute relates to the normal use function of the client, and if the corresponding upgrade update is not performed, the normal use of the client is seriously affected, so the forced upgrade attribute indicates that the client needs to be upgraded; the software upgrade package of the non-forced upgrade attribute only relates to the normal upgrade, and does not affect the normal use of the client, so that the user can select whether to execute the upgrade of the client according to the software upgrade package of the non-forced upgrade attribute.
Therefore, when the software upgrade package is acquired, the attribute of the software upgrade package is acquired at the same time. When the attribute of the software upgrade package is the forced upgrade attribute, the user is prompted that the client of the current version needs to execute upgrade update, and upgrade update is directly carried out on the client according to the software upgrade package, so that whether the client is upgraded or not is not needed to be selected by the user.
If the attribute of the software upgrade package is not the forced upgrade attribute, prompting the user whether to execute upgrade update of the client according to the software upgrade package, if the user selects to temporarily not upgrade the client, the client does not upgrade, and allowing the user to use the client; when the user determines that the client needs to be upgraded, the client performs upgrading and updating according to the software upgrading package.
In this embodiment, the preset duration threshold in steps 303 to 304 may be set according to the attribute of the software upgrade package, that is, when the attribute of the software upgrade package is the forced upgrade attribute, the preset duration threshold may be set to a shorter duration; if the attribute of the software upgrade package is a non-forced upgrade attribute, the preset duration threshold may be set to a longer duration. For example, when the software upgrade package is a forced upgrade attribute, the preset duration threshold may be set for 1 day; if the software upgrade package is a non-mandatory upgrade attribute, the preset duration threshold may be set for 1 week or other durations.
The upgrading and updating of the client may be to add a new vehicle diagnosis function or perfect an original vehicle diagnosis function, or repair some loopholes or defects of the client program, and the scope of upgrading and updating is not limited in this embodiment.
In this embodiment, when the client and the server establish a network connection, in order to save the time of the current network connection, the client will also acquire the networking time point recorded by the server from the server, and similarly, the networking time point is a time point in the time period of the current network connection. For example, the client at 10:00 to 19:00 is connected with a server in a network, and in the time period, the client acquires and stores the networking time point in real time and updates the networking time point stored before the local. And acquiring a networking time point when establishing network connection, so as to calculate the networking target duration when the client is networking the next time.
In this embodiment, the networking time point may also be recorded by the client, that is, the client records the time point of the current networking, but, because the time point of the client is easily tampered by the user, in order to ensure the authenticity of the networking time point, it is preferable to use the networking time point recorded by the server.
After the client has completed the upgrade update, the client is restarted and the user may perform a series of operations using the client, such as vehicle diagnostics using the vehicle diagnostics client.
In this embodiment, when the client and the server establish network connection, when the server has a software upgrade package of the client and the software upgrade package is a forced upgrade attribute, the client will force upgrade according to the software upgrade package, and the upgraded client will be more beneficial to the use of the user, and meanwhile, the management of the after-sale server to the client of the user is also facilitated, and the after-sale cost is saved.
