Next, examples of the present application will be described in detail.
The embodiment of the application provides a speed limiting method, which is applied to an AC, and as shown in fig. 1, the method may include the following steps:
and S11, acquiring the speed limit configuration information corresponding to the wireless terminal when the wireless terminal is on line and the wireless terminal is determined to be the wireless terminal needing speed limit.
The speed limit configuration information comprises uplink speed limit information and/or downlink speed limit information.
And S12, if the speed limit configuration information includes uplink speed limit information, generating an uplink speed limit rule including the identification information of the wireless terminal and an uplink speed limit value corresponding to the wireless terminal and included in the uplink speed limit information, and sending the uplink speed limit rule to the AP accessed by the wireless terminal, so that the AP limits the speed of the uplink flow from the wireless terminal according to the uplink speed limit rule.
And S13, if the speed limit configuration information includes downlink speed limit information, generating a downlink speed limit rule including the identification information of the wireless terminal and a downlink speed limit value corresponding to the wireless terminal and included in the downlink speed limit information, configuring the downlink speed limit rule to a speed limit execution module in the AC, and limiting the downlink flow sent to the wireless terminal through the speed limit execution module.
Specifically, in this embodiment of the application, the identification information of the wireless terminal in the above step S12 and step S13 may be a Media Access Control (MAC) address of the wireless terminal, and the like.
The AC may determine whether the wireless terminal is a wireless terminal that needs speed limiting in several ways:
in the first mode, the AC judges whether a radio frequency unit on an AP to which the wireless terminal is accessed is an assigned radio frequency unit, or the AC judges whether a wireless service to which the wireless terminal is accessed is a wireless service in a preset service template; if so, the AC determines that the wireless terminal is the wireless terminal needing speed limitation; and when the judgment result is negative, the AC determines that the wireless terminal is not the wireless terminal needing speed limitation.
It should be noted that the first method is applicable to a scenario in which the AC needs to limit the speed of the wireless terminal accessing to the specified radio frequency unit on the specified AP or the wireless service in the preset service template.
In this scenario, the designated AP may be one or more APs designated in advance on the AC side, and for a designated AP, the designated AP may also designate in advance on the AC side which radio frequency units of the wireless terminal access to the designated AP are subjected to speed limiting.
In the first mode, the AC does not need to distinguish the online mode of the wireless terminal that is online to the AC, and the first mode is adopted to determine whether the online mode of the wireless terminal is authentication-free online or authentication (for example, AAA authentication, etc.) is online.
In addition, when the first method is adopted for determination, the speed limit configuration information used by all the wireless terminals accessing the wireless service in the preset service template or the designated radio frequency unit accessing the designated AP may be configured in advance in a unified manner by a command line on the AC side. In the specific configuration, the configuration information may be configured together with the above-mentioned scenario, and the configuration information may be configured into one piece for the speed limit configuration information used by all the wireless terminals accessing to a certain specified radio frequency unit or a certain wireless service, so that all the wireless terminals accessing to the specified radio frequency unit or the certain wireless service are the wireless terminals requiring speed limit, and the AC may use the piece of speed limit configuration information, that is, it may be understood that the speed limit configuration information corresponding to each wireless terminal requiring speed limit is the piece of speed limit configuration information.
In the second mode, the AC determines whether speed limit configuration information corresponding to the wireless terminal exists In locally stored speed limit configuration information corresponding to the wireless terminal and issued by a Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) server In a designated Authentication domain, or the AC determines whether the Authentication domain of the wireless terminal is a preset Authentication domain; if so, the AC determines that the wireless terminal is the wireless terminal needing speed limitation; and if the judgment result is negative, the AC determines that the wireless terminal is not the wireless terminal needing speed limitation.
The second method is applicable to a scenario in which the AC needs to limit the speed of the wireless terminal authenticated in the designated authentication domain.
In this scenario, the specified authentication domain may be one or more authentication domains specified in advance on the AC side.
In the second method, the AC only determines the wireless terminal that is online to the AC and whose online method is authentication online, and does not determine the wireless terminal whose online method is authentication-free online.
And when the second mode is adopted for judgment, if the AC judges according to the speed limit configuration information which is sent by the RADIUS server and corresponds to the wireless terminal, the speed limit configuration information which is sent by the RADIUS server and stored by the AC comprises the speed limit configuration information which is sent by the RADIUS server and corresponds to different wireless terminals.
If the AC is judged according to the designated authentication domain, the speed limit configuration information used by the wireless terminal authenticated in the designated authentication domain can be configured in advance on the AC side in a command line mode.
In the third mode, the AC judges whether the wireless terminal exists in a preset wireless terminal list or not; if so, the AC determines that the wireless terminal is the wireless terminal needing speed limitation; and when the judgment result is negative, the AC determines that the wireless terminal is not the wireless terminal needing speed limitation.
It should be noted that the third method is applicable to a scenario in which the AC needs to limit the speed of the wireless terminal of a specific class.
In this scenario, the wireless terminal of the designated level may be a wireless terminal of one level or a plurality of levels designated in advance on the AC side.
For example, in the third method, the radio terminal lists of the radio terminals of the VIP level and the radio terminals of the non-VIP level that require speed limiting may be configured on the AC side in advance, and the radio terminal lists of the radio terminals of any of the levels may include speed limiting configuration information set for each radio terminal that requires speed limiting in addition to each radio terminal that requires speed limiting, and the speed limiting configuration information of the radio terminals of different levels may be different.
It should be further noted that, no matter which way the AC determines, the AC may locally acquire the speed limit configuration information corresponding to the wireless terminal.
Further, in this embodiment of the application, after the wireless terminal is de-rate or the wireless terminal goes offline, the AC may further perform the following operations:
deleting the uplink speed limit rule and/or the downlink speed limit rule corresponding to the wireless terminal;
and informing the AP to delete the uplink speed limit rule corresponding to the wireless terminal and/or deleting the downlink speed limit rule corresponding to the wireless terminal configured on the speed limit execution module.
Further, in the embodiment of the present application, the AC may further perform the following operations:
if the uplink speed limit information included in the speed limit configuration information changes, updating the uplink speed limit rule according to the uplink speed limit value in the changed uplink speed limit information, and sending the updated uplink speed limit rule to the AP, so that the AP limits the speed of the uplink flow from the wireless terminal according to the updated uplink speed limit rule;
if the downlink speed limit information included in the speed limit configuration information changes, the downlink speed limit rule is updated according to the downlink speed limit value in the changed downlink speed limit information, the updated downlink speed limit rule is reconfigured to the speed limit execution module, and the downlink flow sent to the wireless terminal is subjected to speed limit through the speed limit execution module.
The above speed limiting method is described in detail with reference to specific embodiments.
Assume that a WLAN includes an AC, a plurality of APs having two radio units, and a plurality of wireless terminals. Taking one of the APs as an example, assuming that the AP includes a radio frequency unit 1 and a radio frequency unit 2, assuming that the speed limit needs to be performed on the wireless terminal of the radio frequency unit 1 accessed to the AP, the AC side is configured with corresponding speed limit configuration information including uplink speed limit information and downlink speed limit information in advance.
If one of the wireless terminals is on-line to the AC through the AP, for the AC, after finding that the wireless terminal is on-line, it is determined whether the radio frequency unit on the AP to which the wireless terminal is connected is the radio frequency unit 1, and since the wireless terminal is connected to the radio frequency unit 1 on the AP, the AC determines that the wireless terminal is a wireless terminal requiring speed limitation.
And then, the AC locally acquires corresponding speed limit configuration information, and after acquiring the speed limit configuration information corresponding to the wireless terminal, the AC discovers that the acquired speed limit configuration information comprises uplink speed limit information and downlink speed limit information.
And aiming at the uplink speed limit information, the AC generates an uplink speed limit rule comprising the MAC address of the wireless terminal and an uplink speed limit value corresponding to the wireless terminal and contained in the uplink speed limit information, and sends the uplink speed limit rule to the AP.
After receiving the uplink speed-limiting rule, the AP may configure the uplink speed-limiting rule to a driving module in the AP, and the driving module limits the speed of the uplink traffic from the wireless terminal according to the uplink speed-limiting rule, so that a part of the redundant traffic does not occupy the bandwidth resource between the AP and the AC.
Aiming at the downlink speed limit information, the AC generates a downlink speed limit rule comprising the MAC address of the wireless terminal and a downlink speed limit value corresponding to the wireless terminal and included in the downlink speed limit information, the downlink speed limit rule is configured on a speed limit execution module in the AC, and the downlink flow sent to the wireless terminal is limited by the speed limit execution module, so that a part of redundant flow does not occupy the bandwidth resource between the AP and the AC.
Subsequently, if the AC finds that the wireless terminal is off-line, the AC deletes the uplink speed limit rule and the downlink speed limit rule corresponding to the wireless terminal; and informing the AP to delete the uplink speed limit rule corresponding to the wireless terminal and delete the downlink speed limit rule corresponding to the wireless terminal configured on the speed limit execution module.
And if the AC finds that the uplink speed limit information changes, updating the uplink speed limit rule according to the uplink speed limit value in the changed uplink speed limit information, and sending the updated uplink speed limit rule to the AP.
After receiving the updated uplink speed-limiting rule, the AP may reconfigure the updated uplink speed-limiting rule to the driving module in the AP, and the driving module limits the speed of the uplink traffic from the wireless terminal according to the updated uplink speed-limiting rule.
If the AC finds that the downlink speed-limiting information changes, the AC updates the downlink speed-limiting rule according to the downlink speed-limiting value in the changed downlink speed-limiting information, reconfigures the updated downlink speed-limiting rule to a speed-limiting execution module, and limits the speed of downlink traffic sent to the wireless terminal through the speed-limiting execution module.
According to the technical scheme, for the wireless terminal which is on line to the AC and needs to carry out the speed-limiting processing of the uplink flow, the generated corresponding uplink speed-limiting rule is sent to the AP which is correspondingly accessed, and the AP executes the corresponding speed-limiting flow; and for the wireless terminal which is on line to the AC and needs to carry out speed limit processing of downlink flow, configuring the generated corresponding downlink speed limit rule to a speed limit execution module in the AC, and executing a corresponding speed limit flow through the speed limit execution module. Therefore, the speed limiting mode can reduce the redundant flow between the AC and the AP, and further save bandwidth resources.
