In the prior art, a Central Unit (CU) of a radio access network is mainly managed by a network management layer configuration interface for operation, maintenance and configuration, related interfaces mainly depend on CU manufacturers for implementation and definition, and the CU has insufficient open support capability. In addition, CU's data acquisition is generally performed through a network management layer and a soft and hard acquisition interface, and data acquisition contents cannot be flexibly configured.
With the technical push of CU Function decoupling and Network Function Virtualization (NFV), a plurality of separated functional entities can appear inside a CU, and these entities can be implemented by software from different vendors. Conventional CU management interfaces that are highly dependent on a single CU vendor implementation, as well as data acquisition and configuration, become inflexible. To handle more CU capability opening requirements and more flexible multi-vendor CU deployment and CU NFV implementations, the CU capability opening part also needs to be decoupled from the CU internal functional entities.
Disclosure of Invention

In some embodiments of the present invention, each functional interface and/or each verification interface in the central unit capability exposure layer may be a physical interface.
For example, the capability open layer of the central unit includes 5 functional interfaces, namely a data acquisition task configuration interface, a command issuing interface, a parameter configuration management interface, a radio resource management algorithm issuing interface and a radio resource management policy issuing interface, and 2 verification interfaces, namely a conflict policy issuing interface and a permission management configuration interface, and each functional interface and each verification interface are entity interfaces.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the central unit capability openness layer may include a preset number of entity interfaces, and each entity interface is capable of performing a function of at least one function interface and/or at least one verification interface.
For example, the central unit capability open layer includes 7 physical interfaces, which are 5 functional interfaces: a data acquisition task configuration interface, a command issuing interface, a parameter configuration management interface, a radio resource management algorithm issuing interface, a radio resource management strategy issuing interface, and 2 verification interfaces: the system comprises a conflict strategy issuing interface and a permission management configuration interface, wherein each entity interface respectively executes the function of the interface.
For another example: the central unit capacity open layer comprises 1 entity interface, which can execute the functions of 5 functional interfaces of a data acquisition task configuration interface, a command issuing interface, a parameter configuration management interface, a radio resource management algorithm issuing interface and a radio resource management strategy issuing interface, and 2 verification interfaces of a conflict strategy issuing interface and a permission management configuration interface.
The following steps are repeated: the capability open layer of the central unit comprises 3 entity interfaces, wherein the interface 1 can perform the function of a data acquisition task configuration interface, the interface 2 can perform the functions of a radio resource management algorithm issuing interface and a radio resource management strategy issuing interface, and the interface 3 can perform the functions of 2 verification interfaces, namely a conflict strategy issuing interface and a permission management configuration interface.
The radio access network central unit of the embodiment of the invention can not only separate the external functional interfaces, but also expand the functional interfaces, namely, a new functional interface can be added in the central unit capacity open layer, or a new function can be added in the functional interface in the central unit capacity open layer. Is more flexible and convenient, and does not influence the function of the bottom layer.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a communication structure according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the wireless access network system includes a client 21 and a wireless access network center unit 22, wherein the wireless access network center unit 22 includes: a central unit functional layer 221 and a central unit capacity opening layer 222 coupled to the central unit functional layer 221. The central unit function layer 221 includes: a control plane protocol function 2211, a user plane protocol function 2212, a radio resource management function 2213, and an operation and maintenance management function 2214. The central unit capability opening layer 222 includes a function interface 2221, that is, the central unit capability opening layer 222 can support configuration, management and invocation of related function modules in the central unit function layer 221, and provide a related northbound interface (i.e., the function interface 2221) to the outside. The client 21 is connected to the radio access network central unit 22 through the functional interface 2221, and the client 21 triggers one or more functional modules in the central unit functional layer 221 to operate through the functional interface 2221.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart illustrating a communication between a client and a central unit of a radio access network according to an embodiment of the present invention. The communication flow of the client and the wireless access network central unit comprises the following steps:
the first step is as follows: the client sends a request through the functional interface.
The client may send the request through an API of the central capability exposure layer.
The second step is that: the central unit capability open layer carries out identity authentication, permission confirmation and conflict verification, and carries out function mapping aiming at the request which is sent by the client with the calling function interface permission and passes the conflict verification.
That is, the central unit capacity open layer includes: the authority management functional unit and the northbound interface request conflict coordination functional unit. The authority management function unit carries out identity authentication on the client terminal for calling the function interface and confirms whether the client terminal has the calling authority of the called function interface or not according to the identity of the client terminal; and if the client has the calling authority, sending the request to the northbound interface request conflict coordination function unit. The northbound interface request conflict coordination function unit performs conflict verification on the request according to the function interface called by the client; for the verified request, the request sent by the client may be mapped to a function call request for triggering the corresponding function module in the functional layer of the central unit to operate, and sent to the corresponding function module, and the corresponding function module is triggered to operate, for example: and carrying out operations such as data acquisition, parameter configuration management, command issuing and the like.
The third step: and the corresponding functional module in the functional layer of the central unit operates, generates reply information corresponding to the request and returns the reply information to the capacity open layer of the central unit.
The corresponding function module may generate and transmit a function call reply message corresponding to the request.
The fourth step: the central unit capacity open layer receives reply information of the request sent by the corresponding functional module and sends the reply information to the client through the functional interface.
And the central unit capacity open layer generates reply information of the API request according to the received function call reply information and sends the reply information to the client through the API interface.
Next, a procedure of communication between the client and the radio access network center unit according to an embodiment of the present invention is specifically described.
Application scenario one
Step 1.1: the near-real-time wireless intelligent controller sends a request through a data acquisition task configuration interface.
Step 1.2: and the central unit capacity open layer performs identity authentication, permission confirmation, conflict verification and function mapping on the near-real-time wireless intelligent controller for calling the data acquisition task configuration interface.
Step 1.3: the central unit capacity open layer transmits data acquisition task configuration information to the data acquisition submodule and triggers an acquisition task of the data acquisition submodule, such as: data acquisition such as Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) buffer, channel quality, etc.; and meanwhile, the central unit capacity open layer issues the configuration information of the data acquisition task to the data reporting submodule, the data reporting submodule acquires data according to the acquisition task and reports the acquired data to the near-real-time wireless intelligent controller according to the configuration of the data acquisition task.
Step 1.4: and the near-real-time wireless intelligent controller estimates and predicts the air interface capability according to the reported PDCP buffer, and provides related information to an application service layer so as to realize service related rate optimization.
Application scenario two
Step 2.1: the network management layer (NMS/ONAP/MANO/Non-RT RIC) sends the request through the data collection task configuration interface.
Step 2.2: and the central unit capacity open layer performs identity authentication, permission confirmation, conflict verification and function mapping on the network management layer calling the data acquisition task configuration interface.
Step 2.3: the central unit capacity open layer transmits data acquisition task configuration information to the data acquisition submodule in the central unit function layer, and triggers the acquisition task of the data acquisition submodule, such as: cell level/user level load, for example: data acquisition such as Physical Resource Block (PRB) occupancy, CCE occupancy, Evolved Radio Access Bearer (E-RAB) throughput, cell handover parameters, and the like; and meanwhile, the central unit capacity open layer issues the configuration information of the data acquisition task to the data reporting submodule, the data reporting submodule acquires data according to the acquisition task and reports the acquired data to the network management layer according to the configuration of the data acquisition task.
Step 2.4: and the network management layer predicts the cell load according to the reported data and optimizes the load balancing strategy to obtain the optimized switching parameter configuration information.
Step 2.5: and the network management layer sends the optimized switching parameter configuration information through the configuration management interface.
Step 2.6: the central unit capability open layer transmits the optimized switching parameter configuration information to a configuration management submodule in a central unit function layer, and triggers the configuration management submodule to update related Radio Resource Control (RRC) switching parameters.
Based on the same inventive concept, the present invention further provides a communication method, please refer to fig. 4, where fig. 4 is a schematic flow chart of the communication method according to the second embodiment of the present invention, and the method is applied to the radio access network central unit according to the first embodiment of the present invention, and includes the following steps:
step 41: receiving a request sent by a client through a functional interface in a central unit capacity open layer;
step 42: and triggering at least one functional module in the functional layers of the central unit to operate according to the request.
In the embodiment of the invention, the wireless access network central unit comprises a central unit capacity open layer, can decouple each functional capacity of a CU, provides a uniform external capacity exposure service anchor point, can support flexible data acquisition and configuration, and is more efficient and flexible.
Preferably, the at least one functional module comprises at least one of: the system comprises a control plane protocol function module, a user plane protocol function module, a wireless resource management function module and an operation and maintenance management function module.
Preferably, the capability opening layer further includes: a northbound interface request processing functional unit;
the step of triggering the operation of at least one functional module in the functional layers of the central unit according to the request comprises the following steps:
triggering a functional module in the functional layer corresponding to the functional interface, or triggering the functional module in the functional layer corresponding to the functional interface and other functional units in the capability open layer to operate;
the communication method further comprises:
and sending the reply information of the request to the client through the functional interface.
Preferably, the capacity openness layer further includes: the northbound interface requests the conflict coordination functional unit and/or the authority management functional unit;
the communication method further comprises:
storing the conflict policy in the request; performing conflict verification according to the conflict strategy; and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
storing the authority management configuration information in the request; and performing authority verification according to the authority management configuration information.
Preferably, the capability opening layer further includes: a verification interface, the verification interface comprising: a conflict policy issuing interface and/or a permission management configuration interface;
the client sends a request containing the conflict policy through the conflict policy issuing interface;
and the client sends a request containing the authority management configuration information through the authority management configuration interface.
Preferably, the conflict policy includes: a list of collision detection interfaces and a handling policy.
Preferably, the rights management configuration information includes: a rights management list, the rights management list comprising: each of the at least one functional interface and an identity of a client having a right to invoke the functional interface.
Preferably, the capacity open layer includes: the northbound interface request conflict coordination functional unit and the authority management functional unit;
the communication method further comprises:
receiving a request sent by the client through the functional interface;
judging whether the client has the calling authority of the called functional interface or not according to the identity of the client; if the client has the calling authority, performing conflict verification on the request according to the called functional interface; and triggering the functional module corresponding to the called functional interface in the functional layer to run according to the request passing the verification.
Preferably, the operation and maintenance management function module includes at least one of: the system comprises a data acquisition submodule, a data reporting submodule, a log management submodule, a configuration management submodule and a monitoring management submodule;
the at least one functional interface comprises at least one of:
the system comprises a data acquisition task configuration interface, a command issuing interface, a parameter configuration management interface, a wireless resource management algorithm issuing interface and a wireless resource management strategy issuing interface;
the receiving client side sends a request through a functional interface in a central unit capacity open layer; the step of triggering the operation of at least one functional module in the functional layers of the central unit according to the request comprises:
receiving data acquisition task configuration information and data reporting task configuration information sent by the client through the data acquisition task configuration interface; sending the data acquisition task configuration information to the data acquisition submodule, and triggering the data acquisition reporting submodule to acquire data; sending the data reporting task configuration information to the data reporting submodule, and triggering the data reporting submodule to report the acquired data; and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
receiving a request sent by the client through the command issuing interface; triggering a functional module corresponding to the identifier in the functional layer to operate according to the identifier of the call command in the request, and sending the parameter of the call command in the request to the functional module corresponding to the identifier; and/or the presence of a gas in the atmosphere,
receiving parameter configuration information sent by the client through the parameter configuration management interface; sending the parameter configuration information to the configuration management submodule, and triggering the configuration management submodule to update parameters according to the parameter configuration information; and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
receiving the radio resource management algorithm software sent by the client through the radio resource management algorithm issuing interface; sending the radio resource management algorithm software to the radio resource management function module, and triggering the radio resource management function module to update the algorithm software; and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
receiving a radio resource management strategy sent by the client through the radio resource management strategy issuing interface; and sending the radio resource management strategy to the radio resource management function module, and triggering the radio resource management function module to update the algorithm strategy.
Preferably, the client comprises a network layer and/or a near real-time wireless intelligent controller.
The specific working process is the same as that in the first corresponding embodiment, and therefore, detailed description is not repeated here, and please refer to the description in the first corresponding embodiment.

Claims (10)

1. A radio access network center unit, comprising:
a central unit functional layer comprising: at least one functional module;
a central unit capacity open layer coupled to the central unit functional layer, comprising: the client triggers at least one functional module in the at least one functional module to operate through the functional interface;
the capability openness layer further comprises: a northbound interface request processing functional unit;
the northbound interface request processing functional unit is used for receiving a request sent by the client through the functional interface; triggering a functional module in the central unit functional layer corresponding to the functional interface, or triggering a functional module in the central unit functional layer corresponding to the functional interface and other functional units in the capability open layer to operate; sending reply information of the request to the client through the functional interface;
the functional interface comprises at least one of:
the system comprises a data acquisition task configuration interface, a command issuing interface, a parameter configuration management interface, a wireless resource management algorithm issuing interface and a wireless resource management strategy issuing interface.
2. The hub unit of claim 1, wherein said at least one functional module comprises at least one of: the system comprises a control plane protocol function module, a user plane protocol function module, a wireless resource management function module and an operation and maintenance management function module.
3. The center unit according to claim 1,
the capability openness layer further comprises: the northbound interface requests a conflict coordination functional unit and/or a permission management functional unit;
the northbound interface request conflict coordination function unit is used for storing conflict strategies in the request; performing conflict verification according to the conflict strategy;
the authority management functional unit is used for storing the authority management configuration information in the request; and performing authority verification according to the authority management configuration information.
4. The center unit according to claim 3,
the capability openness layer further comprises: an authentication interface, the authentication interface comprising: a conflict policy issuing interface and/or a permission management configuration interface;
the client sends a request containing the conflict policy through the conflict policy issuing interface;
and the client sends a request containing the authority management configuration information through the authority management configuration interface.
5. The center unit according to claim 3 or claim 4,
the conflict policy includes: a list of collision detection interfaces and a handling policy.
6. The hub unit of claim 3 or claim 4, wherein the rights management configuration information comprises: a rights management list, the rights management list comprising: each of the at least one functional interface and an identity of a client having a right to invoke the functional interface.
7. The center unit according to claim 3,
the capability opening layer comprises: the northbound interface request conflict coordination functional unit and the authority management functional unit;
the northbound interface request processing functional unit is used for receiving the request sent by the client through the functional interface and sending the request to the authority management functional unit;
the authority management functional unit is used for judging whether the client has the calling authority of the called functional interface or not according to the identity of the client; if the client has the calling authority, the request is sent to the northbound interface request conflict coordination function unit;
the northbound interface request conflict coordination functional unit is used for carrying out conflict verification on the request according to the called functional interface; and triggering the functional module corresponding to the called functional interface in the functional layer of the central unit to operate according to the request passing the verification.
8. The center unit according to claim 2,
the operation and maintenance management function module comprises at least one of the following modules: the system comprises a data acquisition sub-module, a data reporting sub-module, a log management sub-module, a configuration management sub-module and a monitoring management sub-module;
the northbound interface request processing functional unit is used for receiving data acquisition task configuration information and data reporting task configuration information which are sent by the client through the data acquisition task configuration interface; sending the data acquisition task configuration information to the data acquisition submodule, and triggering the data acquisition reporting submodule to acquire data; sending the data reporting task configuration information to the data reporting submodule, and triggering the data reporting submodule to report the acquired data; and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
receiving a request sent by the client through the command issuing interface; triggering a functional module corresponding to the identifier in the central unit functional layer to operate according to the identifier of the calling command in the request, and sending the parameter of the calling command in the request to the functional module corresponding to the identifier; and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
receiving parameter configuration information sent by the client through the parameter configuration management interface; sending the parameter configuration information to the configuration management submodule, and triggering the configuration management submodule to update parameters according to the parameter configuration information; and/or the presence of a gas in the atmosphere,
receiving the radio resource management algorithm software sent by the client through the radio resource management algorithm issuing interface; sending the radio resource management algorithm software to the radio resource management function module, and triggering the radio resource management function module to update the algorithm software; and/or the presence of a gas in the gas,
receiving a radio resource management strategy sent by the client through the radio resource management strategy issuing interface; and sending the radio resource management strategy to the radio resource management function module, and triggering the radio resource management function module to update the algorithm strategy.
9. The central unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the client comprises a network layer and/or a near real-time wireless intelligent controller.
10. A communication method applied to the radio access network center unit according to any one of claims 1 to 9, comprising:
receiving a request sent by a client through a functional interface in a central unit capacity open layer;
and triggering at least one functional module in the functional layers of the central unit to operate according to the request.
