Description

Casting method for filling inert gas into casting body for protection
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of cable joint manufacturing methods, and particularly relates to a casting method for filling a casting body with inert gas for protection.
Background
The cable joint is divided into an open cable joint and a closed cable joint, the casting process methods of the two cable joints are basically the same, and the main processes are as follows: firstly, scattering and cleaning a steel wire rope at a part to be cast; cleaning the casting body and assembling the casting body and the steel wire rope to meet the design requirement; thirdly, wrapping and sealing the casting body and the steel wire rope at the bottom of the casting body by using asbestos mud, asbestos cloth and the like; pouring the casting material heated to a certain temperature into the casting body; and fifthly, after the casting material in the casting body is cooled to the room temperature, the end part of the casting body is clamped, and thus the casting of the cable joint is completed. According to the casting process method, the gap between the steel wire and the steel wire in the bottom area of the casting body is small, the gap between the steel wire and the steel wire is difficult to fill after the casting material is poured into the inner cavity of the casting body, and the weak stress area of the casting joint is the bottom area of the casting body, so that the breaking tension of the cable joint is smaller than that of the steel wire rope body. In order to improve the breaking tension of the casting rope joint, one of the existing methods is to increase the size of an inner cavity of a casting body so as to increase the gap between steel wires; secondly, the length size of the casting body is lengthened to reduce the requirement of shearing force between the steel wire and the casting material caused by poor casting internal quality. For the two reasons, the casting cable joint has the disadvantages of large external dimension, heavy weight, more material and high production cost.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention provides a casting method which is convenient to operate and can improve the filling quality of a casting material in a casting body, wherein the casting method is characterized in that inert gas is filled in the casting body for protection, the diameter and the length of the casting body can be reduced on the premise of ensuring the strength of the casting body, and the weight and the cost of the casting body are reduced.
The technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows: a casting method for filling inert gas into a casting body for protection comprises the following steps:
s1, binding and fixing the steel wire rope at the position close to the upper end by adopting a thin iron wire, spreading the thin iron wire of the steel wire rope to the upper end into a bundle of steel wires, and cleaning;

s4, inserting the inert gas pipe into the casting body, and enabling the outlet of the inert gas pipe to be located at the middle position of the bottom of the casting body; filling inert gas into the inner cavity of the casting body; pouring the liquid casting material into the casting body at one time; continuously filling inert gas, and pulling out the inert gas pipe after the oxidized slag inclusion without casting materials in the casting body floats upwards;
s5, cooling the cast cable joint to room temperature;
and S6, clamping the end of the cable joint until the end meets the use requirement of the product.
In the above-mentioned casting method in which the casting body is filled with the inert gas for protection, in step S1, when the scattered steel wires are cleaned, the scattered steel wires are cleaned by using a cleaning agent; and if the steel wire is not cleaned completely, performing sand blasting treatment on the scattered steel wire, and then cleaning the scattered steel wire by adopting a cleaning agent.

In the above-mentioned casting method in which the casting body is filled with the inert gas for protection, in step S3, before the scattered steel wires are inserted into the casting body, the scattered steel wires and the inner cavity of the casting body are subjected to flux coating or flux dipping.
In the above-described casting method in which the casting body is filled with the inert gas for protection, in step S3, a casting head is attached to the upper end of the casting body.
In the above-described casting method in which the inert gas is filled in the casting body for protection, in step S4, the casting body is heated before the inert gas is filled in the casting body, and the heating of the casting body is completed while the inert gas pipe is pulled out.
In the above-described casting method in which the casting body is filled with the inert gas for protection, in step S4, the casting body is heated by flame heating or induction heating.
In the above-mentioned casting method in which the casting body is filled with the inert gas for protection, in step S4, the inert gas is argon, helium or nitrogen.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
the method is convenient to operate, the inert gas is filled at the root part of the inner cavity of the casting body, the casting quality of the cable joint is greatly improved, the breaking tension of the steel wire rope is improved, and the diameter of the steel wire rope under the condition of the same maximum tension requirement is reduced; the invention reduces the casting body of the cable joint and reduces the production cost of the cable joint.

Detailed Description
The invention will be further described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The invention will be described with reference to the casting of a rope joint of a steel wire rope having a diameter of 37mm, as shown in figure 1.
The invention comprises the following steps:
1) the end of a steel cord 1 having a diameter of 37mm is trimmed at a suitable position and bound with a thin iron wire 3 having a diameter of 1.2mm near the end, the end of the steel cord 1 is spread and straightened into a bundle of steel wires 4, and the spread steel wires 4 are subjected to a sand blasting treatment and cleaned with alcohol. The scattered steel wires 4 can be cleaned by alcohol without straightening treatment or sand blasting treatment.
2) The cast body 5 was sand-blasted and cleaned with alcohol. When the cast body 5 is cleaned, it may be cleaned with alcohol without performing sand blasting.
3) The scattered steel wires 4 of the steel wire rope 1 are inserted into the casting body from the bottom of the casting body 5 to a proper position, and the scattered steel wires 4 can be coated with soldering flux or soaked in the soldering flux before being inserted into the inner cavity of the casting body 5 according to requirements. Then the steel wire rope below the casting body 5 is wrapped by the asbestos cloth 2, and the gap between the steel wire rope 1 and the bottom of the casting body 5 is sealed. The upper end of the casting body 5 may be provided with a casting head 7, or the casting head 7 may not be provided. In the production of the open cable joint, the casting head 7 may not be installed as required.
4) Inserting the inert gas pipe 8 into the casting body 5 from the upper end of the casting body 5 so that the gas outlet of the inert gas pipe 8 is positioned at the bottom middle position of the casting body 5; then opening an inert gas switch 9 on an inert gas pipe 8, and filling inert gas into the inner cavity of the casting body 5; heating the casting body 5 by adopting a flame heating mode (or heating the casting body 5 by adopting an induction heating mode) until the temperature of the steel wire 4 in the casting body 5 reaches about 150 ℃; the liquid ZnCu6 casting mass was poured into the casting body 5 in one portion. The inert gas can be argon, helium, nitrogen or other gases which do not react with the casting material.
And continuously heating the outer wall of the casting body 5 until bubbles of the inert gas are blown out from the casting body 5, refilling the inert gas for 1min or pulling out the inert gas filling pipe after the oxidized slag inclusion without the ZnCu6 casting material in the casting body floats upwards, and simultaneously stopping heating.
5) The cast rope joints were cooled to room temperature.
6) And (5) performing clamp repair, and cutting to remove a casting riser until the casting riser meets the use requirement of the product.
