Detailed Description
So that the manner in which the above recited objects, features and advantages of the present invention can be understood in detail, a more particular description of the invention, briefly summarized above, may be had by reference to the embodiments thereof which are illustrated in the appended drawings. In addition, the embodiments and features of the embodiments of the present application may be combined with each other without conflict.
Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. The terminology used herein in the description of the invention is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present application discloses an adapter board for controlling lamp panel data distribution of an LED lamp panel in an LED display box, including a receiving card 110, a plurality of lamp panel interfaces 130, and a data extraction module 120; the number of the lamp panel interfaces 130 is nxm, wherein N, M is a positive integer; the data extraction module 120 is arranged corresponding to the lamp panel interface and is in communication connection with the lamp panel interface;
a receiving card 110, which at least includes N data output interfaces and at least M clock signal output interfaces; the receiving card 110 receives and processes input DATA, and outputs a lamp panel DATA set DATA through a DATA output interface; the lamp panel DATA set DATA is a set of lamp panel DATA corresponding to the M LED lamp panels;
the M DATA extraction modules 120 are a group, connected to the same DATA output interface, and receive the lamp panel DATA set DATA output by the DATA output interface; each clock signal output interface is connected with at least one corresponding data extraction module 120, and outputs a data separation clock signal Clk; in the same group of data extraction modules 120, each data extraction module 120 is connected to a different clock signal output interface, and receives data separation clock signals Clk with different time sequences;
the DATA extraction module 120 is configured to separate the clock signal Clk from the received DATA, extract the lamp panel DATA Output corresponding to the time sequence from the received lamp panel DATA set DATA, and Output the lamp panel DATA Output to the lamp panel interface 130;
and the lamp panel interface 130 is used for connecting the LED lamp panel and sending the received lamp panel data Output to the LED lamp panel.
The data extraction module 120 may be any sequential logic circuit. For example, as shown in fig. 2, the data extraction module 120 may be a trigger 121. As shown in fig. 4, the data extraction module 120, may be a latch 122. For convenience of description, the data extraction module 120 is taken as an example of a trigger to specifically describe the patch panel provided in the present application.
Each group of data extraction modules includes M data extraction modules 120. M may be a positive integer greater than 1, such as 2, 3, or other larger values. The value of M is taken as 2 as an example.
Fig. 2 shows a simplified block diagram between a set of data extraction modules and receiving card 110. At this time, the receiving card 110 has a data output interface and two clock signal output interfaces, the group of data extracting modules 120 are specifically 2 flip-flops 121, and each flip-flop 121 is connected to one lamp panel interface 130.
For a DATA output interface of the receiving card 110, it connects two flip-flops 121 — flip-flops a and B, and 2 flip-flops 121 all receive the same lamp panel DATA set DATA. At this time, the lamp panel DATA set DATA includes two lamp panel DATA corresponding to the LED lamp panels a and B, as shown in fig. 3. Meanwhile, the flip-flops A and B are used as a group and are respectively connected with different clock signal output interfaces to receive data separation clock signals Clk-Clk A and Clk B with different time sequences. Under the triggering of DATA separation clock signals Clk with different time sequences, a trigger A extracts lamp panel DATA Output A with corresponding time sequences from a lamp panel DATA set DATA, namely lamp panel DATA Output to an LED lamp panel A; the trigger B extracts lamp panel DATA Output B corresponding to the time sequence from the lamp panel DATA set DATA, that is, lamp panel DATA Output to the LED lamp panel B.
In the timing chart shown in fig. 3, the flip-flop 121 is triggered at the rising edge of the DATA separation clock signal Clk, and outputs the DATA signal of the lamp panel DATA set DATA to the outside through the output port. It will be appreciated that flip-flop 121 may also be triggered to output on the falling edge of data separation clock signal Clk.
The timing diagram of the lamp panel DATA set DATA, the DATA separation clock signal Clk a, the DATA separation clock signal Clk B, and the lamp panel DATA Output a and Output B at corresponding timings is shown in fig. 3.
Therefore, the receiving card 110 can carry 2 LED lamp panels by using only 1 data output interface. It can be understood that, by increasing the number of data extraction modules 120 in each group of data extraction modules and the number of separated clock signals Clk, the number of LED lamp panels carried by the receiving card 110 can be further increased.
According to the adapter plate provided by the embodiment of the application, the plurality of lamp panel interfaces are divided into one group, and the plurality of lamp panel interfaces in each group multiplex the same data output interface of the receiving card; the receiving card collects a plurality of lamp panel data together, outputs the lamp panel data through a data output interface, outputs a plurality of data clock signals with different time sequences, enables the data extraction module to separate the clock signals according to the received data, extracts lamp panel data with corresponding time sequences from the lamp panel data collection, and outputs the lamp panel data to corresponding LED lamp panels through the lamp panel interface to work. Through the mode of timesharing multiplex, under the data output pin's that does not increase the receiving card that does not show the circumstances, can effectively promote the quantity of adapter plate on-load LED lamp plate. Compared with the existing scheme for improving the loading capacity of the adapter plate, the adapter plate provided by the embodiment of the application does not need to change a packaging structure, cannot cause the sharp rise of the cost, and cannot cause the increase of the volume of the adapter plate/the receiving card.
On the receiving card 110, the number of the clock signal output interfaces may be the same as the number of the lamp panel interfaces 130 — N × M clock signal output interfaces, where each clock signal output interface corresponds to one lamp panel interface 130 and the data extraction module 120.
Receiver card 110 is typically designed using an FPGA. If the clock signal output interface is significantly increased, the package structure may need to be increased due to the increase of the number of pins of the FPGA of the receiving card, which may result in an increase of cost and an increase of volume of the receiving card. In order to reduce the number of the clock signal output interfaces, it is preferable that the number of the clock signal output interfaces is M — that is, the number of the clock signal output interfaces is the same as the number of the data extraction modules in each group of the data extraction modules. At this time, the N data extraction modules 120 of different groups may be connected to the same clock signal output interface.
Preferably, M has a value of 2. At the moment, compared with the existing adapter plate and the existing receiving card, the number of the LED lamp panels with loads can be doubled only by adding one clock signal output interface.
As shown in fig. 5, the receiving card 110 may specifically include a data processing unit 111, a data superimposing unit 112, and a clock signal unit 113; a data processing unit 111 for receiving externally input image data and extracting lamp panel data corresponding to each LED lamp panel; the DATA superposition unit 112 is used for superposing the lamp panel DATA of the LED lamp panels together to form a lamp panel DATA set DATA; a clock signal unit 113 for generating a plurality of data separation clock signals Clk at different timings.
The number of the lamp panel DATA included in the lamp panel DATA set DATA may be determined in advance, and then transmitted to the DATA processing unit 111, and then forwarded to the DATA superimposing unit 112, or may be directly transmitted to the DATA superimposing unit 112 from the outside. In some embodiments, the DATA overlaying unit 112 may also automatically read the number of DATA extraction modules 120 connected to each DATA output interface, so as to determine the number of lamp panel DATA in the lamp panel DATA set DATA. It is understood that the amount of lamp panel DATA in the lamp panel DATA set DATA may also be determined by the interaction between the receiver card 110 and the LED lamp panel.
The receiving card 110 may generate a clock signal itself, or may receive a basic clock signal from the outside, and then process the clock signal to form a clock signal required for the operation of the receiving card 110. In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 5, the receiving card 110 may further include a frequency multiplier 114 for generating a frequency-multiplied clock signal according to the basic clock signal; and the DATA superposition unit 112 is used for superposing the lamp panel DATA of the plurality of LED lamp panels together according to the frequency multiplication clock signal to form a lamp panel DATA set DATA. For example, the receiving card 110 may receive a basic clock signal from the outside and then transmit the basic clock signal to the clock signal unit 113 to generate the data separation clock signal Clk. When M is 2, the frequency multiplier 114 may use a frequency doubler.
In some embodiments, a network interface may be further disposed on the patch panel, and electrically connected to the receiving card 110, for receiving externally input data through a network cable. The network interface may specifically be an RJ45 network interface.
It is understood that in some embodiments, a light interface may also be disposed on the adapter board and electrically connected to the receiving card 110 for receiving externally input data through a light cable.
In some embodiments, a status indicator lamp may be further disposed on the adapter board to indicate the operating status of the receiving card 110 or the LED lamp panel.
In some embodiments, the adapter board may further include a test key electrically connected to the data processing unit 111; and the data processing unit 111 generates control data corresponding to the test according to the electrical connection state of the test key, and sends the control data to the outside through the data output interface to perform the test.
According to the adapter board provided by the embodiment of the application, the plurality of lamp panel interfaces are divided into one group, and the plurality of lamp panel interfaces in each group are enabled to reuse the same data output interface of the receiving card; the receiving card collects a plurality of lamp panel data together, outputs the lamp panel data through a data output interface, outputs a plurality of data clock signals with different time sequences, enables the data extraction module to separate the clock signals according to the received data, extracts lamp panel data with corresponding time sequences from the lamp panel data collection, and outputs the lamp panel data to corresponding LED lamp panels through the lamp panel interface to work. Through the mode of timesharing multiplex, under the data output pin's that does not increase the receiving card that does not show the circumstances, can effectively promote the quantity of adapter plate on-load LED lamp plate. Compared with the existing scheme for improving the loading capacity of the adapter plate, the adapter plate provided by the embodiment of the application does not need to change a packaging structure, cannot cause the rapid rise of the cost, and cannot cause the increase of the volume of the adapter plate/the receiving card.

For example, the box frame may have a front end and a rear end, and the LED lamp panel 200 may be fixed to the front end of the box frame to form a display surface; the adapter plate 100 may be fixed to the rear end of the cabinet frame.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 7, the LED display box may further include a power supply unit 300 for receiving an input external power and converting the input external power into an operating voltage required by the adapter board 100 and the LED lamp panel 200. For example, the external power source may be an alternating current, such as 220V alternating current, 110V alternating current, 100V alternating current, 48V alternating current, or the like; or may be a direct current, such as 12V direct current, 5V direct current, or the like.
Another embodiment of the application further discloses an LED display screen, as shown in fig. 8, including a plurality of LED display box bodies 10, the plurality of LED display box bodies 10 being spliced to form an LED display screen; the LED display box 10 is the LED display box according to any one of the embodiments.
