Description

Flushing toilet
Technical Field
The invention relates to a shower toilet (ducch-WC) according to the preamble of claim 1, a toilet body for a shower toilet according to the preamble of claim 11, a technical unit module for a shower toilet according to the preamble of claim 14, a kit according to the preamble of claim 19, and a method for assembling a shower toilet according to the preamble of claim 20.
Background
From EP-B1.317.586, a shower toilet is known which comprises a toilet bowl body with a cavity which is open at the rear. The back of the toilet body forms an interface for fixing it on a wall by means of a bracket. A module comprising a bidet with a movable flush arm may be loaded into the cavity of the toilet body from the rear. In the rear part of the toilet body, also fixed to the bracket are two functional elements, namely a heater and a pump. However, these two functional elements do not form an integral module, but are present as separate elements controlled by separate electronic control means. In addition, in order to cover it, the two functional elements of the known device also require a relatively bulky housing, thus protecting it on the one hand and making it invisible to the user on the other hand.
In addition to this, there is another disadvantage in that the fastening of the individual components to special holders in separate chambers or to the flushing unit, as shown in EP-B1.317.586, requires too much space.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention is here intended to remedy. The object of the present invention is to accomplish a shower toilet whose toilet body is independent after it is assembled to the installation wall, so that all bidet elements are completely placed inside it.
The object set forth is achieved by the invention by a shower toilet having the features of claim 1, a toilet body having the features of claim 11, a technical unit module having the features of claim 14, a kit according to claim 19 and a method for assembling a shower toilet according to claim 20.
The advantages achieved by the invention are mainly that, thanks to the shower toilet according to the invention, the following effects are achieved:
it is possible to complete a closed potty body, which has major advantages with respect to hygiene, since there are no gaps and transitions between the potty body and the plastic casing;
it is possible to assemble the entire shower toilet faster and more cost-effectively at the factory;
the components of the technical unit module are assembled into a single assembly which is particularly suitable for assembly in the case of narrow and tight spatial relationships in the cavity of the toilet bowl body, because:
the electrical lines and water pipes within the module have been pre-assembled;
the technical core elements (heater, pump and control device) are combined into a compact block (assembly) which can be placed and fixed in the cavity of the toilet bowl body in a space-saving manner by means of the simplest fastening elements;
in order to utilize the space as optimally as possible, the fastening elements can be largely dispensed with. The components of the technical unit module are here most ideally arranged around absolutely necessary (according to the standard definition) supply and discharge ducts. Therefore, the optimal space utilization in the flushing closestool can be realized; and is
The technical unit module can be produced cost-effectively and its effectiveness can be checked before it is built into the toilet bowl body of the shower toilet;
if the toilet body manufacturer produces a standard toilet body, it can be provided with a technical unit module and a bidet module;
in the closed toilet body, only the rear open cavity is available, which can be designed smaller than in the prior art due to the elimination of a separate chamber for the bidet unit, wall thickness and tolerances. This effect is further enhanced by the compact design of the module; and is
The flushing unit can likewise be fixed only around the central outlet of the flushing arm in the ceramic, so that the carrier can be dispensed with.
The following remarks can be made on further advantageous embodiments of the invention:
in a particular embodiment, the toilet body comprises a first fastening element and the technical unit module comprises a second fastening element, wherein the first and second fastening elements are connectable to each other. Thereby, the following advantages can be achieved: by assembling the components of the technical unit module into a single assembly, the number of fastening elements can be significantly reduced. This is particularly advantageous in the narrow spatial relationship which is limited by the flushing water nozzles and the discharge nozzles arranged in the cavity. In addition, the fastening element can be arranged on the toilet body, more precisely on the technical unit module, so that it can be easily accessed for assembly and disassembly even in conditions of limited spatial relationship.
In another embodiment, the first and second fastening elements are designed to be snappable into each other, preferably in a horizontal direction. This achieves the following advantages: during assembly, the technical unit module can simply be pushed from behind into the cavity in the toilet body in the horizontal direction until the fastening elements snap into one another.
In yet another embodiment, the first fastening element is disposed on the bottom surface of the toilet bowl body in the cavity. Thereby, the following advantages can be achieved: the first fastening element can also be arranged inside the cavity, since it can be connected, for example screwed, to the second fastening element by introducing a tool into the recess below the technical unit module.
In a further embodiment, the second fastening element is arranged on a front side of the technical unit module, which front side is arranged in the assembled state inside the cavity.
In a further embodiment, the technical cell module comprises cables within the module, which cables are fixed to the technical cell module and connect the control device with the heater and with the pump. Preferably, the technical cell module comprises a water pipe within the module, which is fixed to the technical cell module and connects the heater with the pump. The assembly of the technical unit module on the toilet body is thereby considerably simplified, since only a small number of cables and water pipes have to be connected in order to be connected with the bidet module and to external current and water pipe connections.
In another embodiment, the technical unit module comprises a first interface comprising a connector for connecting with a building-side cleaning water line and an electrical line, and a second interface comprising a connector for the bidet module.
In a further embodiment, the first interface additionally comprises connections for the first and second electrical control lines, which connections can be connected to the operating device and preferably to a valve arranged on the building side. Thereby, the following advantages can be achieved: the control lines make it possible to operate external valves, for example valves arranged on the mounting wall or mounting plate, so that no shut-off valves have to be installed in the cavity of the toilet body and the volume of the technical unit module can be kept small.
According to a further aspect of the invention, a toilet body for a shower toilet is provided, comprising a rearwardly open cavity, wherein the rearwardly open cavity has an edge in a vertical plane by which the toilet body can rest flush against a mounting wall, and wherein the cavity is dimensioned and configured in shape such that it can fully accommodate a technical unit module and a bidet module.
In a special embodiment of the toilet body, the toilet body comprises an operating device which can be connected with the control device of the technical unit module electrically, wirelessly or by means of an electrical control line.
In another embodiment of the toilet body, the operating means are designed as a knob.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a technical unit module for a shower toilet, wherein the technical unit module is insertable into and removable from a rear open cavity of a toilet bowl body as a whole, and which includes a heater, a pump and an electrical control device.
In a further embodiment, the technical unit module can be operated via an operating device for the control device.
In yet another embodiment, the technical cell module comprises a housing.
In a further embodiment, the housing of the technical unit module is designed in a U-shape so that it can be arranged around the discharge duct of the shower toilet.
In a further embodiment, the housing simultaneously forms a container (can) for the heater.
According to a further aspect of the invention, a kit is provided consisting of a technical unit module and a bidet module which can be inserted into and removed from the rear open cavity of the toilet body as a whole, wherein the latter comprises a bidet unit with a retractable and extendable flushing arm, and the technical unit module and the bidet module are matched to one another such that both modules can be inserted into and removed from the rear open cavity of the toilet body.
According to a further aspect of the invention there is provided a method of assembling a shower toilet, the method comprising the steps of: a) introducing and securing the bidet module and then the technical unit module into the rear open cavity of the toilet body; and b) establishing an electrical and water connection between the technical unit module and the bidet module.
