Abstract
The invention provides aramid fiber putty and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of coatings. The aramid fiber putty comprises the following components in parts by weight: 3-5 parts of aramid fiber, 35-40 parts of unsaturated polyester resin, 2-5 parts of cobalt naphthenate drier, 0.04 part of air drying agent, 2 parts of flexibilizer, 1-5 parts of talcum powder and 1-2 parts of curing agent. The invention also provides a preparation method of the aramid fiber putty. The invention adopts aramid fiber to prepare fiber putty, has moderate hardness, expansion coefficient and other properties between those of glass fiber reinforced plastic and aluminum alloy formed at the front end of the vehicle body. The preparation method has the advantages of easily available raw materials, simplicity and suitability for industrial production.

Background
In the manufacturing process of a motor train unit vehicle, the front end of the vehicle body is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, and can be connected with an aluminum alloy vehicle body after being installed in the subsequent assembly process, a gap between two parts is sealed by adopting a sealant in the past, and the problem exists that the visual integration effect of the front end of the vehicle body and the aluminum alloy vehicle body depicted by an art designing effect diagram cannot be met, so that the two parts are required to be connected by a material, the material needs to meet the requirements of being capable of connecting the glass fiber reinforced plastic and the aluminum alloy together and performing paint spraying operation on the surface of the glass fiber reinforced plastic and the aluminum alloy, and the glass fiber reinforced plastic vehicle does not crack when running in an environment with. To meet this demand, it is necessary to develop a fiber putty.
The existing fiber putty is glass fiber putty, has high hardness, short operation time, no expansion coefficient and other properties between the front end composition of a train body (glass fiber reinforced plastics) and aluminum alloy, and is easy to crack in the running process of a train, so that the surface state of paint is poor and needs to be repeatedly repaired.

Experimental results show that the hardness of the fiber putty is 64-72 Shore (D), and the expansion coefficient range is 1.97E-05 to 7.87E-05. The preparation method has the advantages of easily available raw materials, simplicity and suitability for industrial production.
