The invention provides water-based ink which comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 30-40 wt% of water-based amino resin, 20-25 wt% of water-based acrylic resin, 10-15 wt% of maleic resin, 1-5 wt% of pigment, 5-10 wt% of mixed solvent and 1-5 wt% of auxiliary agent. The water-based ink has the advantages of low toxicity (no volatile organic benzene and VOC gas), high drying speed, high glossiness, high brightness, good adhesive force, good composite strength, high printing speed and the like; the preparation method of the water-based ink is simple and easy to implement, is convenient to operate, and is a green and environment-friendly operation process.

(1) Dissolving water-based amino resin, water-based acrylic resin and maleic resin in a mixed solvent with the volume ratio of water to ethanol being 10:4 according to the mass percentage of 2:1.2:1, and mechanically stirring at normal temperature until the mixture is uniformly mixed to obtain a mixed solution A;
(2) adding titanium dioxide into the prepared mixed solution A, uniformly mixing, adding a defoaming agent, a flatting agent and a surfactant, and finally adjusting the pH value of the mixture to 8.0-9.0 by adopting an alkaline solution to prepare the water-based ink.

(1) Dissolving water-based amino resin, water-based acrylic resin and maleic resin in a mixed solvent with the volume ratio of water to ethanol being 10:5 according to the mass percentage of 2:1.5:1, and mechanically stirring at normal temperature until the mixture is uniformly mixed to obtain a mixed solution A;
