It is to be understood that the data so used is interchangeable under appropriate circumstances such that the embodiments of the disclosure described herein are capable of operation in sequences other than those illustrated or otherwise described herein. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
The video playing method provided by the present disclosure can be applied to the application environment shown in fig. 1. The electronic device 110 may be, but is not limited to, various personal computers, notebook computers, smart phones, tablet computers, and portable wearable devices.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a video playing method according to an exemplary embodiment, and the video playing method is used in the electronic device 110 of fig. 1, as shown in fig. 2, and includes the following steps.
In step S210, a video preview page is displayed; the video preview page includes a plurality of videos to be played.
The video preview page may be a page for a user to preview a plurality of videos to be played. In practical applications, the video preview page may be a discovery page of a short video application, a city page, or the like. Of course, the video preview page may also be a search results page for a short video application. When the video preview page is a search results page for a short video application, the video preview page may also be named a search results page.
To facilitate understanding by those skilled in the art, FIG. 3 provides an interface schematic of a video preview page.
In specific implementation, when a user starts a certain short video application through electronic equipment, the electronic equipment displays a video preview page including a plurality of videos to be played. Of course, the user may also perform video search by using the keyword in a short video application through the electronic device, that is, input a video search operation to the electronic device, and after responding to the video search operation, the electronic device requests the server for a corresponding video search result based on the keyword. And after receiving a video search result comprising a plurality of videos to be played returned by the server, the electronic equipment displays a video preview page. In practical application, the video preview page further includes cover frames corresponding to the videos to be played.
In step S220, among a plurality of videos to be played, it is determined that a user gazes at the videos.
The user watching video is a video to be played, which is watched by the user.
In a specific implementation, after the electronic device displays the video preview page, the electronic device determines that the user gazes at the video, that is, the video to be played that the user is gazing at, among the plurality of videos to be played. Specifically, the electronic device may track the pupils of the user, thereby detecting the gaze point of the user with respect to the video preview page. And then, the electronic equipment determines the video to be played which is watched by the user, namely the user watching video, according to the watching point in the videos to be played on the video preview page. For example, when the electronic device detects that the time when a user gazes at a video to be played exceeds a preset time threshold, it indicates that the user has a certain interest in the video to be played, and at this time, the electronic device takes the video to be played as the user gazed video. In practical applications, the time threshold may be set to 3 seconds.
In step S230, in the video preview page, the user gazing video is played.
In a specific implementation, when the electronic device determines that a user watches a video in a plurality of videos to be played, the electronic device plays the user watching video in a video preview page. Specifically, in the process of playing a user watching video in a video preview page by the electronic device, the user watching video in the video preview page is in a playing state at the moment; the other videos to be played except the user watching video in the video preview page are in a state to be played at the moment; meanwhile, the video preview page also comprises cover frames of other videos to be played.
According to the video playing method, after the video preview page comprising the videos to be played is displayed, the videos watched by the user are determined in the videos to be played, namely the videos to be played watched by the user, the videos to be played are played in the video preview page, and therefore the videos to be played watched by the user are played only, so that the processing capacity of the electronic equipment is fully utilized while excessive CPU processing resources and memory of the electronic equipment are not occupied, the videos to be played are displayed locally and dynamically to the user, the user can conveniently and quickly preview video information, and the user can efficiently find the videos meeting the requirements.
In an exemplary embodiment, each video to be played has a corresponding page area in a video preview page, and determining, among a plurality of videos to be played, a user gazing at the video includes: acquiring a page fixation point of a user aiming at a video preview page; in each page area, determining a target area; the duration of the continuous residence of the page fixation point in the target area is greater than a preset duration threshold; and determining the video to be played corresponding to the target area as the user watching video.
And each video to be played has a corresponding page area in the video preview page.
In specific implementation, in the process that the electronic device determines that a user gazes at a video in a plurality of videos to be played, the electronic device tracks the page gazing point of the user for the video preview page in real time. Then, the electronic device determines a target area in each of the page areas. Specifically, when the electronic device detects that the duration of the continuous residence of the user in a certain page area with respect to the page point of regard to the video preview page is greater than a preset duration threshold, the electronic device takes the page area as a target area. And finally, the electronic equipment determines the video to be played corresponding to the target area as the user watching video. In practical applications, the duration threshold may be 3 seconds.
According to the technical scheme of the embodiment, the page fixation point of the user for the video preview page is obtained; in each page area, determining a target area; the duration of the continuous residence of the page fixation point in the target area is greater than a preset duration threshold; and determining the video to be played corresponding to the target area as the user watching video, so that the preview intention of the user is judged according to the page watching point of the video preview page of the user, the video to be played with concentrated attention of the user is accurately judged, and the video is played and displayed independently.
In an exemplary embodiment, acquiring a page point of regard of a user for a video preview page includes: acquiring a user image of a user; based on the user image, the eyeball key points of the user are tracked, and the page fixation point of the user aiming at the video preview page is determined. Further, in the process of tracking the eyeball key point of the user based on the user image and determining the page fixation point of the user for the video preview page, the method includes: determining an eyeball reference point of a user in a user image; determining the relative position between the eyeball datum point and the eyeball key point; and determining a page fixation point of the user aiming at the video preview page according to the relative position.
In practical applications, the eyeball reference point may be an eyeball center point.
The eyeball key point may refer to a pupil of the user.
In specific implementation, the electronic device may acquire a user image through an image acquisition device (e.g., a front-facing camera), and track a pupil of the user based on the user image, thereby determining a page gaze point of the user with respect to a video preview page. Specifically, after the electronic device acquires a user image through a front camera, the electronic device detects an eyeball key point, namely a user pupil, in the user image based on a fast-RCNN (convolutional neural network), and tracks the user pupil in real time by adopting a KCF (Kernel Correlation Filter) algorithm to obtain a pupil tracking result. And finally, accurately determining the page fixation point of the user aiming at the video preview page at present based on the pupil tracking result.
In the process that the electronic device 110 tracks the eyeball key points of the user based on the user image and determines the page fixation point of the user for the video preview page, the electronic device 110 may determine the eyeball reference points of the user in the user image; determining the relative position between the eyeball datum point and the eyeball key point; and determining a page fixation point of the user aiming at the video preview page according to the relative position. For example, the electronic device 110 may determine, in the user image, a relative position between an eyeball center point of the user and a pupil center point of the user as a pupil relative position; and finally, the electronic equipment determines the page fixation point of the user aiming at the video preview page based on the relative position of the pupil.
According to the technical scheme of the embodiment, the user image of the user is obtained; determining an eyeball reference point of a user in a user image; determining the relative position between the eyeball datum point and the eyeball key point; according to the relative position, the page fixation point of the user for the video preview page is accurately determined, so that the page fixation point of the user for the video preview page is accurately tracked, the video to be played which is watched by the user is timely determined, the complicated operation of the user is avoided, and the intelligent degree of the electronic equipment when the video preview page is displayed is improved.
In an exemplary embodiment, after the step of playing the user gazing video, the method further includes: and when the fact that the page fixation point leaves the target area is detected, pausing the playing of the video corresponding to the target area. After the step of pausing the playing of the video corresponding to the target area, the method further comprises the following steps: and displaying a cover frame of the video corresponding to the target area in the video preview page.
Wherein, the cover frame can also be named as a video cover.
In a specific implementation, when the electronic device detects that the page gaze point leaves the target area, the electronic device determines that the user no longer gazes at the video corresponding to the target area, and the electronic device pauses playing the video corresponding to the target area.
At this time, the video corresponding to the target area is changed from the playing mode to the static mode, and meanwhile, the cover frame corresponding to the video is displayed in the video preview page by the electronic device.
According to the technical scheme of the embodiment, when the fact that the page fixation point leaves the target area is detected, the electronic equipment pauses playing of the video corresponding to the target area, namely, the video which is not watched by the user at present is stopped in time, and therefore occupation of processing resources of the electronic equipment is reduced.
Meanwhile, in the video preview page, the cover frame of the video corresponding to the target area is displayed, so that the attractiveness of the video preview page is guaranteed while excessive processing resources of the electronic equipment are avoided being occupied, and the interest of a user in accessing the video preview page is improved.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a video playing method according to another exemplary embodiment, and the video playing method is applied to the electronic device 110 in fig. 1, as shown in fig. 4, and includes the following steps.
In step S410, in response to a video search operation, displaying a search result page; the search results page includes a plurality of videos to be played.
The search result page may refer to a page containing video search results. In practical applications, the video preview page may be a search results page for a short video application.
In a specific implementation, a user can also perform video search by using a keyword in a certain short video application through the electronic device, that is, input a video search operation to the electronic device, and after responding to the video search operation, the electronic device requests a corresponding video search result from the server based on the keyword. And after receiving a video search result comprising a plurality of videos to be played returned by the server, the electronic equipment displays a search result page. In practical application, the search result page further includes cover frames corresponding to the videos to be played.
