Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the present disclosure may be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the disclosure to those skilled in the art.
Example one
Referring to fig. 1, a video control method according to a first embodiment of the present invention is shown, where the video control method may include the following steps:
step 101: when the terminal displays the first video cover list, a first video cover where a user's watching focus is located is obtained, and the staying time of the user's watching focus on the first video cover is recorded.
The video cover is a frame of video picture in the video file or a video picture determined according to the content of the video file. In an embodiment of the present invention, the first video cover list includes a plurality of video covers, and each video cover is displayed in a different area on the display interface of the terminal. The first video cover includes at least one video cover in the first video cover list.
In addition, in the embodiment of the invention, when the terminal enters the display interface of one video cover list, the gazing focus of the user is captured, namely the gazing focus of the user is obtained and stays on which video covers in the video cover list, and the staying time is recorded. For example, when an application installed on the terminal for watching a video is started and enters a display interface of the application, it may start to acquire which video covers displayed on the display interface the gazing focus of the user stays on, and record the staying time; or, when the terminal displays a web page through the browser and the web page displays a plurality of video covers, it may start to acquire which video covers displayed on the web page the user's focus stays on, and record the stay time.
In addition, in the embodiment of the present invention, the recorded dwell time of the user's gaze focus on the video cover may be a continuous dwell time, for example, the dwell time of the user's gaze focus on the video cover a is t1 to t2, and the user's gaze focus stays on the video cover a between time t1 and time t2 without leaving.
Alternatively, the recorded stay time of the user's gaze focus on the video cover may be the cumulative time during which the terminal displays the first video cover list and the user's gaze focus stays on the video cover, for example, during the display of the first video cover list, the user's gaze focus stays on the video cover a at time t 1-t 2, does not stay on the video cover a at time t 2-t 3, and stays on the video cover a at time t 3-t 4, and the stay time of the user's gaze focus on the video cover a is the cumulative time t 1-t 2 and t 3-t 4.
Step 102: and when the retention time is larger than a preset threshold value, starting to play the video preview content corresponding to the second video cover in the display area of the second video cover.
And the second video cover is the video cover corresponding to the stop time larger than the preset threshold value in the first video cover. The preset threshold value can be set by the user, so that the browsing of the video is more in line with the personal habits of the user. For example, an adjusting button is added on a setting interface on the terminal, and the user can change the size of the preset threshold value by operating the adjusting button.
In addition, the video preview content includes a plurality of frames of video, and thus the video preview content corresponding to the video cover is displayed in the display area of the video cover, that is, a preview animation of the video is played in the display area of the video cover.
In addition, in the embodiment of the present invention, for example, the first video cover list includes six video covers, and if three of the video covers in which the dwell time of the gazing focus of the user exceeds the preset threshold are included, the corresponding video preview content is played only in the display areas of the three video covers.
As can be seen from the above description, in the video control method according to the embodiment of the present invention, by positioning the video cover where the gazing focus of the user is located, and recording the dwell time of the gazing focus on the video cover, when the dwell time of a certain video cover exceeds a preset threshold, the video preview content corresponding to the video cover starts to be played in the display area of the video cover, so that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the video that the user is interested in is captured by positioning the gazing focus of the user, and thus only the preview animation of the video that the user is interested in is played, so that the user can focus attention on the video that the user is interested in, the user can conveniently select the video, and the efficiency of selecting the video to be watched by the user can be improved to a certain extent.
Example two
Referring to fig. 2, a video control method according to a second embodiment of the present invention is shown, and the video control method may include the following steps:
step 201: when the terminal displays the first video cover list, a first video cover where a user's watching focus is located is obtained, and the staying time of the user's watching focus on the first video cover is recorded.
Optionally, the obtaining a first video cover where a gazing focus of the user is located includes:
acquiring a target position of a gazing focus of a user on a screen of the terminal by adopting an eyeball tracking technology;
acquiring a target area of the target position within a preset range;
and determining the video cover in the first video cover list covered by the target area as the first video cover where the gazing focus of the user is located.
That is, in the embodiment of the present invention, an eyeball tracking technology may be adopted to locate the position of the gazing focus of the user on the terminal screen. It is to be understood that the specific method for locating the position of the user's gaze focus on the terminal screen is not limited thereto.
The eyeball tracking technology enables the terminal to know the intention of the user and know where the user watches, and accordingly, a natural man-machine interaction mode is achieved. At present, more and more terminals can support hardware devices for tracking eyeballs, such as an infrared camera, a 3D structured light and a distance sensor, and can calculate the coordinate position of a screen gazed at by the gaze of a user. Therefore, in the embodiment of the present invention, if the eyeball tracking technology is used to locate the position of the gaze focus of the user on the terminal screen, a hardware device for tracking the eyeball needs to be installed on the terminal.
In addition, when the hardware device for tracking the eyeball is installed on the terminal, if the terminal enters a display interface of a video cover list, the hardware device for tracking the eyeball is started, so that the position of the gazing focus of the user on a terminal screen can be positioned through the hardware device, a target area in a preset range where the position is located is further obtained, and then the video cover covered by the target area is determined as the video cover where the gazing focus of the user is located.
In addition, the preset range may be, for example, a range surrounded by a circle with a radius, where a target position of a user's gaze focus on a screen of the terminal is a center of the circle. Here, it is to be understood that the determination manner of the preset range is not limited thereto.
Step 202: and when the retention time is larger than a preset threshold value, starting to play the video preview content corresponding to the second video cover in the display area of the second video cover, downloading the video clip with the preset time length of the target video, and storing the video clip.
And the second video cover is the video cover corresponding to the stop time larger than the preset threshold value in the first video cover. The target video is the video of the second video cover.
Moreover, the video preview content is downloaded locally or in real time along with the downloading of the video cover, the format is video, and the volume of the video preview content can be controlled to be smaller.
In an embodiment of the present invention, for example, the first video cover list includes six video covers, and if three of the video covers in which the dwell time of the gazing focus of the user exceeds the preset threshold are included, the corresponding video preview content is played only in the display areas of the three video covers. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention captures the video which the user is interested in by positioning the watching focus of the user, so that only the preview animation of the video which the user is interested in is played, the user can focus on the video which the user is interested in, the user can conveniently select the video, and the efficiency of selecting the video to be watched by the user can be further improved to a certain degree.
In addition, in the prior art, the file size of audio and video is larger than that of graphics and text, and the mobile network environment is often unstable, and it is a common practice to optimize the playing experience to preload the first few seconds of file resources of video, for example, after the video cover and the basic information are downloaded, the video content of all the first n seconds of video is preloaded without difference, or the video content with higher browsing times and heat is preloaded, which, however, easily causes a large amount of bandwidth waste and waste of device processing resources.
In the embodiment of the invention, only the video clip with the preset time length in front of the video corresponding to the video cover with the gazing focus of the user exceeding the preset threshold is pre-loaded, namely, only the video clip with the preset time length in front of the video cover interested by the user is pre-loaded, so that the waiting time length of network loading when the user opens the video can be reduced, and network resources can be saved.
The video clip with the preset time duration before the target video is a video clip with the preset time duration when the target video starts, for example, a video clip of the first 3 s.
Optionally, after downloading the video segment of the target video with the preset duration and storing the video segment, the method further includes:
and decoding the downloaded video segment of the target video with the preset time length.
In other words, in the embodiment of the present invention, when the retention time of the gazing focus of the user in a certain video cover exceeds a preset threshold, the video segment with the preset duration of the video corresponding to the video cover can be preloaded, and the loaded video segment is further decoded, so as to further accelerate the waiting duration of the user for watching the video corresponding to the video cover.
Optionally, the method further includes:
receiving a preset operation on the second video cover;
before the preset operation is received, when the video segment with the preset time length of the target video is stored and decoded, the decoded video segment with the preset time length of the target video is played, and the video segment behind the video segment with the preset time length in the target video is downloaded.
The preset operation may be, for example, a click operation of the user on a second video cover displayed on the terminal.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the invention, when the preset operation of the user on the second video cover is received, the stored and decoded video clip with the preset time length before the target video can be played preferentially, and the video clip after the video clip with the preset time length before the target video is downloaded, so that the waiting time of the user for watching the video is further shortened.
Optionally, after the video preview content corresponding to the second video cover starts to be played in the display area of the second video cover, the method further includes:
and when the fact that the gazing focus of the user leaves the second video cover is detected, stopping playing the video preview content corresponding to the second video cover.
The gazing focus of the user leaves the second video cover to indicate that the user does not pay attention to the video corresponding to the second video cover any more, and the video preview content corresponding to the second video cover can be stopped being played in the display area of the second video cover, so that the situation that the efficiency of selecting the video by the user is influenced due to the fact that the preview content corresponding to the second video cover is played and the attention of the user is dispersed is avoided.
Optionally, after recording the dwell time of the user's gaze focus on the first video cover, further comprising:
and when the fact that the gazing focus of the user leaves the first video cover is detected, the recorded retention time of the gazing focus of the user on the first video cover is cleared.
That is, in the embodiment of the present invention, the recorded dwell time of the user's gaze focus on the video cover may be a continuous dwell time, for example, the dwell time of the user's gaze focus on the video cover a is t1 to t2, and the user's gaze focus stays on the video cover a from time t1 to time t2, and does not leave, that is, as long as the user's gaze focus leaves the video cover, the recorded dwell time of the user's gaze focus on the video cover is cleared.
Optionally, the method further includes:
and in the process of downloading the video clip with the preset time length of the target video, when the fact that the gazing focus of the user leaves the video cover corresponding to the target video is detected, the downloading of the video clip with the preset time length of the target video is paused.
If the watching focus of the user is detected to leave the video cover corresponding to the target video in the process of downloading the video clip with the preset time length in the target video, the downloading of the video clip with the preset time length in the target video can be suspended, so that the situation that the video which is not interested by the user occupies too much memory is avoided, and the memory space is further saved.
Optionally, after recording the dwell time of the user's gaze focus on the first video cover, further comprising:
and when the terminal updates the displayed video cover list to be a second video cover list, resetting the recorded retention time of the gazing focus of the user in the first video cover.
The terminal updates the displayed video cover list to be the second video cover list, and indicates that the user does not need to watch the video in the video cover list before updating at the moment, that is, the user does not need to watch the video in the first video cover list at the moment, and the stop time of the watching focus of the user recorded before on the video cover in the first video cover list can be cleared.
In summary, the specific implementation of the video control method according to the embodiment of the present invention can be as follows:
for example, a video cover introduction list is now displayed on the screen of the terminal, as shown in fig. 3, the cover of six videos in the range shown by the screen is areas 301 to 306, at this time, the eyeball tracking device installed on the terminal is automatically turned on, and the coordinate area and the time when the gazing focus of the user falls on the screen are continuously recorded, for example, the retention time of the recording areas 301 to 306 is T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, and T6, respectively. The schematic diagram in which the user's focus stays on the video cover is shown in fig. 4.
If the cover area of the video completely divides the screen range, the T1, the T2, the T3, the T4, the T5 and the T6 are all cleared.
When T3 of T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, and T6 exceeds the preset threshold of 0.5s, the area 301 starts playing the preview content of the video, starts downloading the first 3s video resources of the video corresponding to the area 301, and decodes the downloaded 3s video resources.
If the user clicks the area 301, the preloaded 3s video starts to be played, and the video resources behind the 3s video are downloaded at the same time.
After the video preview content corresponding to the area is played in the area 301, if the user's focus is away from the area 301, the playing of the video preview content of the area is ended, and if the user's focus is on the area 301 all the time, the video preview content of the area is played in a loop.
