In an internet of things smart home, a bluetooth Mesh (wireless Mesh) network is a low-power-consumption network topology for establishing many-to-many device communication. In one exemplary embodiment, after determining the configuration instruction for configuring the network information of the target device, the method further includes: determining the target network information based on the configuration instruction; and storing the target network information. In this embodiment, when the gateway receives a device control and configuration instruction, or actively triggers device control and configuration, the target state of the device is saved, and a task is started.

It should be noted that steps S306 to S314 are procedures for the gateway to create a subtask for the target configuration state and schedule execution. If the gateway is restarted, the actual configuration state and the expected configuration state of all the sub-devices are checked, if the actual configuration state and the expected configuration state are found not to be met, step S306 is immediately executed.
In the foregoing embodiment, when the gateway receives a device control and configuration instruction, or actively triggers device control and configuration, the target state of the device is saved, and a task is started. For an unsolicited operation, the gateway sends a response to the source of the message (i.e., the device sending the configuration command) and commits that the operation was successfully performed. In the task execution process, the sub-equipment can be controlled or configured, and a series of operations such as confirmation, retry and the like can be completed; for the off-line equipment, the gateway can suspend the task and automatically trigger the execution of the task after the equipment is on-line. By means of the method of immediate response, caching, execution and confirmation or retry, response speed and accessibility are improved, and the problem that equipment control and configuration instructions cannot be guaranteed to arrive in the mesh-based internet of things network is solved.
