When in fine grinding, another grinding block 4 specially used for fine grinding is selected, and the grinding agent coated on the grinding surface of the grinding block 4 is prepared by mixing W7 diamond grinding paste and kerosene according to the proportion of 8: 2. The grinding method and requirements of the fine grinding are the same as those of the rough grinding.
Whether rough grinding or fine grinding is adopted, the grinding block 4 is moved left and right as far as possible to be in uniform contact with the measuring surface of the vernier caliper during grinding, so that the abrasion of the grinding block 4 is reduced.
The abrasive segments 4 should be inspected periodically for flatness and parallelism of the abrasive surfaces, the flatness of the abrasive surfaces of the abrasive segments 4 is not more than 0.01mm, and the parallelism of the abrasive surfaces of the abrasive segments 4 is not more than 0.01 mm.
At present, the repair group of the measuring department of the detection company finishes the equipment transformation of the vernier caliper grinding machine with the upper limit of the measuring range of 1000mm, and is put into the daily grinding work of the vernier caliper formally. From the actual operation effect, the design expectation is reached.
The working hours required for manually grinding the measuring surface of the vernier caliper with the upper limit of the measuring range of 1000mm are nearly 4 hours. The grinding device has the advantages of continuously adjustable grinding speed, high grinding efficiency and the like, improves the grinding work efficiency, reduces the labor intensity of operators, and has a large grinding range through the designed grinding block 4 and the grinding block clamping mechanism 3. The grinding requirement of the vernier caliper with the upper limit of the grinding measurement range to 1000mm is met.

the driving mechanism (1) is connected with the fixed platform, the driving mechanism (1) is connected with a screw rod, the screw rod is connected with a motor, the screw rod is driven by the motor, and the driving mechanism (1) is further driven to reciprocate on the fixed platform in the horizontal direction;
the clamping mechanism is fixedly connected with the fixed platform and comprises a clamping base (2) for installing and fixing the vernier caliper, at least three fastening screws for the vernier caliper and at least two fastening screws for fixing the clamping base (2) for the clamping base (2); the middle part of the clamping base (2) is provided with a U-shaped groove, the side wall of one side of the clamping base is provided with at least three threaded holes, the threaded holes are matched and connected with the vernier caliper fastening screws, the vernier caliper is arranged in the U-shaped groove and is fixed on the side wall of the clamping base (2) through the vernier caliper fastening screws; the bottom of the U-shaped groove is at least provided with two mounting holes, the mounting holes are matched and connected with fastening screws of the clamping base (2), and the clamping base (2) is fixed on a fixed platform through the fastening screws of the clamping base (2);
the grinding mechanism is connected with the driving mechanism (1) and comprises a grinding block clamping mechanism (3) and a grinding block (4), one side of the grinding block clamping mechanism (3) is fixed on the driving mechanism (1), the other side of the grinding block clamping mechanism is provided with a through groove, the grinding block (4) is embedded in the through groove, and grinding surfaces of the grinding block (4) are distributed on the upper surface and the lower surface and are respectively contacted with the measuring surfaces of two measuring claws on the vernier caliper; the driving mechanism (1) drives the grinding block clamping mechanism (3) and the grinding block (4) to do grinding reciprocating motion, and grinding of the measuring surface of the vernier caliper is completed.

Vernier caliper grinding machine with a measurement range up to 1000mm according to claim 1, characterized in that the clamping base (2), the grinding block clamping mechanism (3), the grinding block (4), the vernier caliper fastening screw and the clamping base (2) fastening screw are all 45# steel.

Vernier caliper grinding machine with a measurement range up to 1000mm according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the clamping base (2) has a length of 150mm and a height of 30mm, the vernier caliper fastening screw has an outer diameter of M5 and the clamping base (2) fastening screw has an outer diameter of M6.
4. Vernier caliper grinding machine with a measurement range up to 1000mm according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the grinding block (4) is a right cuboid of 20mm x 65 mm.
5. Vernier caliper grinding machine with a measurement range up to 1000mm according to claim 4, characterized in that both the upper and lower surfaces of the grinding block (4) are coated with an abrasive, the upper and lower surfaces being parallel.
6. A method of using a vernier caliper grinding machine with a measuring range up to 1000mm according to any of claims 1 to 5, comprising the steps of:
s1, firstly, adjusting the interaction items of the parts of the vernier caliper with the upper limit of the measurement range to be ground to 1000mm to be qualified according to the requirements of JJJG 30-2012 Universal Caliper verification regulations on the interaction of the parts of the vernier caliper;
s2, clamping the vernier caliper in the clamping base (2) and fixing the vernier caliper by a fastening screw of the vernier caliper, clamping a fixed measuring jaw of the vernier caliper during clamping, wherein the tail part of a main scale of the vernier caliper is above, a measuring surface of the vernier caliper is in a horizontal state, and the clamping base (2) is clamped in the middle part of the fixed measuring jaw of the vernier caliper;
s3, fully considering the effective stroke of the grinding block clamping mechanism (3) during reciprocating feeding grinding; ensuring that the grinding block (4) is always contacted with the whole measuring surface of the vernier caliper during grinding;
s4, coating the two parallel grinding surfaces on the grinding block (4) with the grinding agent, combining the measuring claws of the vernier caliper to enable the measuring claw measuring surfaces to be in contact with the two grinding surfaces of the grinding block (4) coated with the grinding agent, and applying force to enable the two measuring claws of the vernier caliper to clamp the upper and lower grinding surfaces of the grinding block (4);
s5, starting the driving mechanism (1), wherein the driving mechanism (1) drives the grinding block clamping mechanism (3), and the grinding block clamping mechanism (3) drives the grinding block (4) to do reciprocating feeding motion to finish grinding and repairing of the measuring surface of the vernier caliper; filling grinding agent at irregular time in the grinding process;
and S6, observing the grinding degree of rust and abrasion of the measuring surface of the vernier caliper by eye force until the grinding degree meets the grinding requirement, and judging the deformed grinding by a 1-level knife edge square.
