As shown in fig. 1, a pair of slide assemblies 20 according to an embodiment of the present invention is suitable for use in a piece of furniture. The furniture includes a first furniture member 22 and at least one second furniture member 24, wherein the first furniture member 22 is a cabinet and the at least one second furniture member 24 is a plurality of drawers. The pair of track assemblies 20 are mounted between the first furniture member 22 and each of the second furniture members 24. Wherein the pair of rail assemblies 20 are bottom-mounted drawer rails (underslung slides), and each rail assembly 20 is mounted adjacent to the bottom of each second furniture member 24 on both sides thereof. According to this arrangement, each of the second furniture members 24 can be easily pulled out from or pushed into the first furniture member 22 to be folded by the pair of slide rail assemblies 20.
As shown in fig. 2, each slide rail assembly 20 includes a first rail 26, a second rail 28, and a third rail 30. The second rail 28 is movably installed between the first rail 26 and the third rail 30 for extending the displacement stroke of the third rail 30 relative to the first rail 26. Wherein the first rail 26 is connected to the first furniture member 22, for example, the first rail 26 is fixed to the first furniture member 22 by screwing, but not limited in implementation; the second rail 28 is longitudinally displaceable relative to the first rail 26 and is in an extended position; the third rail 30 is longitudinally displaceable and in an extended position relative to the second rail 28, and the third rail 30 is configured to carry the second furniture member 24. Specifically, the first sliding assisting device 32 is disposed between the first rail 26 and the second rail 28 to facilitate the smoothness of the displacement of the second rail 28 relative to the first rail 26; on the other hand, the second sliding assisting device 34 is disposed between the second rail 28 and the third rail 30 to assist the smoothness of the displacement of the third rail 30 relative to the second rail 28.
Preferably, the first sliding aid 32 includes a plurality of first rolling elements 32a, and the first rolling elements 32a of the first sliding aid 32 are rollers or balls. On the other hand, the second sliding aid 34 also includes a plurality of second rolling elements 34a, and the second rolling elements 34a of the second sliding aid 34 are rollers or balls.
Preferably, the first and second sliding assistance devices 32 and 34 each have a longitudinal length. The first sliding assisting device 32 is provided with a first working portion 32b, and the second sliding assisting device 34 is provided with a second working portion 34b (as shown in fig. 6).
Furthermore, the slide assembly 20 further includes a first gear 36 (shown in fig. 6). The first gear 36 is disposed on the second rail 28. The first gear 36 is engaged with the first working portion 32b of the first sliding aid 32 and the second working portion 34b of the second sliding aid 34. Herein, the first gear 36 is rotatably connected to a mounting seat 33, and the mounting seat 33 is accommodated in a first space 35 of the second rail 28, but the manner of disposing the first gear 36 on the second rail 28 is not limited thereto. Preferably, the first working portion 32b of the first sliding assistance device 32 and the second working portion 34b of the second sliding assistance device 34 are both racks (rows of teeth) arranged longitudinally.
Further, the second rail 28 is provided with a first working member 28a, and the third rail 30 is provided with a second working member 30a (shown in fig. 4). Preferably, the first operating member 28a of the second rail 28 and the second operating member 30a of the third rail 30 are both racks (rows of teeth) arranged longitudinally. Further, the slide rail assembly 20 further includes a second gear 38 disposed on the second sliding assistance device 34, and the second gear 38 is configured to engage with the first operating member 28a of the second rail 28 and the second operating member 30a of the third rail 30. Here, the second gear 38 is rotatably connected to the second sliding assistance device 34 and is accommodated in a second space 39 of the second sliding assistance device 34, but the embodiment is not limited thereto.
As shown in fig. 7, the slide rail assembly 20 includes the first rail 26, the second rail 28, the third rail 30, the first sliding aid 32 and the second sliding aid 34. Wherein, the first gear 36 disposed on the second rail 28 is engaged with the first working portion 32b of the first sliding aid 32 and the second working portion 34b of the second sliding aid 34; on the other hand, the second gear 38 disposed on the second sliding assistance device 34 is engaged with the first operating member 28a of the second rail 28 and the second operating member 30a of the third rail 30.
As shown in fig. 8, the slide rail assembly 20 is in the retracted state. The first gear 36 is rotatable relative to the second rail 28 via a shaft 40, and the second gear 38 is rotatable relative to the second sliding aid 34 via another shaft 42. In other words, the first gear 36 and the second gear 38 are rotatable through different axes.
As shown in fig. 9, when the third rail 30 is opened in an opening direction D, the second gear 38 disposed on the second sliding aid 34 engages with the first operating member 28a and the second operating member 30a, so as to facilitate stability and reliability when the second rail 28 and the third rail 30 are displaced, and further, the second rail 28 and the third rail 30 can be moved synchronously, so as to avoid operation errors (errors) when the second rail 28 and the third rail 30 are displaced. On the other hand, the first gear 36 disposed on the second rail 28 is engaged with the first working portion 32b and the second working portion 34b, which can help the stability and reliability of the first sliding assistance device 32 and the second sliding assistance device 34 during displacement, and further, the first sliding assistance device 32 and the second sliding assistance device 34 can move synchronously, so as to avoid operation errors during displacement of the first sliding assistance device 32 and the second sliding assistance device 34.
Similarly, when the third rail 30 is retracted in a direction opposite to the opening direction D (e.g., a retracting direction), the second gear 38 engages the first operating member 28a and the second operating member 30a, thereby preventing a malfunction when the second rail 28 and the third rail 30 are displaced. On the other hand, the first gear 36 engages with the first working portion 32b and the second working portion 34b, so that the error operation of the first sliding aid 32 and the second sliding aid 34 during displacement can be avoided.
According to the above configuration, when the third rail 30 is opened or closed, a possible operation error when the second rail 28, the third rail 30, the first sliding aid 32 and the second sliding aid 34 are displaced relative to each other can be avoided, for example, a situation where these components are displaced in a delayed manner or in an advanced manner relative to each other can be avoided.
From the above description, it can be seen that the enhanced efficacy and advantages of the present invention are:
a. the two gears 36, 38 with different axes can contribute to the stability and reliability of the displacement of the two sliding rails (e.g., the second rail 28 and the third rail 30) and the two sliding aids (i.e., the first sliding aid 32 and the second sliding aid 34).
b. The first gear 36 and the second gear 38 are separated from each other and rotate through different shafts, which can meet the specific requirements of the market. The first gear 36 is disposed on the second rail 28, and the second gear 38 is disposed on the second sliding assisting device 34. The first gear 36 can cooperate with the first working portion 32b of the first sliding aid 32 and the second working portion 34b of the second sliding aid 34; the second gear 38 is capable of cooperating with the first operating member 28a of the second rail 28 and the second operating member 30a of the third rail 30. According to this configuration, a possible operation error when the second rail 28, the third rail 30, the first sliding aid 32 and the second sliding aid 34 are displaced from each other is avoided.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the present specific embodiments, it will be recognized by those skilled in the art that the above embodiments are illustrative only, and various equivalent changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention, and therefore, it is intended to cover in the appended claims all such changes and modifications as fall within the true spirit of the invention.
