Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to exemplary embodiments of the invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers will be used throughout the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view of an electronic device according to the present invention when closed. Referring to fig. 1, an electronic device 10 of the present embodiment includes a first body 11, a second body 12, a pivot 13, an elastic element 14, and a covering module 15.
The electronic device 10 is a notebook computer, wherein the first body 11 has a display screen, and the second body 12 has a system, wherein the pivot 13 is connected between the first body 11 and the second body 12, so that the first body 11 and the second body 12 can be opened and closed relatively. The elastic element 14 is disposed in the second body 12, and the elastic element 14 has a deformation capability. Specifically, the elastic member 14 is a spring, and one end thereof is fixed to the second body 12. In the present embodiment, the elastic member 14 is disposed in the second body 12 with its axial direction a parallel to the horizontal direction H.
The covering module 15 is connected between the outer side surface of the first body 11 and the elastic element 14, wherein the covering module 15 can pull the elastic element 14 along with the opening and closing of the first body 11 relative to the second body 12, so as to deform the elastic element 14.
Specifically, the sheathing module 15 includes a soft material 151 and a slider 152. The soft material 151 has a first end 1511 and a second end 1512 located at opposite sides, wherein the first end 1511 is fixedly connected to the outer side of the first body 11; that is, the first end 1511 of the soft material 151 does not move relative to the first body 11. The second end 1512 is connected to the slider 152 disposed in the second body 12, and the slider 152 is further connected to the elastic member 14. Specifically, the slider 152 is connected between the second end 1512 of the soft material 151 and the elastic member 14, and the slider 152 can move horizontally and linearly relative to the second body 12. With the relative opening and closing of the first body 11 and the second body 12, the loose or tight degree of the soft material 151 caused by the opening and closing angle between the first body 11 and the second body 12 changes the position of the slider 152 in the second body 12.
Referring to fig. 1, in the present embodiment, the soft material 151 covers at least a part of the outer side surface of the first body 11 and the outer side of the pivot 13. The second body 12 has an opening 121 disposed adjacent to the pivot 13, and the soft material 151 enters the second body 12 through the opening 121 to connect with the slider 152 disposed in the first body 11. In short, in the electronic device 10 of the present embodiment, the soft material 151 does not cover the outer side surface of the second body 12. In another embodiment, the first body 11 and the second body 12 both have a display screen, which is not limited in the present invention.
Fig. 2 is a schematic view of an electronic device according to another embodiment. Referring to fig. 2, in another embodiment, the opening 221 of the second body 22 is disposed at a distance from the pivot 13; in other words, the opening 221 is disposed at a position closer to the middle of the second body 22, and therefore, the soft material 151 covers a part of the outer side surface of the second body 22 in addition to a part of the outer side surface of the first body 11 and the outer side of the pivot 13.
As mentioned above, the soft material 151 may be in a form of a layer, wherein the material of the soft material 151 may be selected from genuine leather, cloth or rubber. Fig. 3 is a schematic view of another embodiment of the soft material. Referring to fig. 3, in the embodiment shown in fig. 3, the soft material 351 can be formed in multiple layers. Specifically, the soft material 351 can be made to include a first layer 3511, a second layer 3512, and a third layer 3513, wherein the third layer 3513 is embedded between the first layer 3511 and the second layer 3512, and the hardness of the third layer 3513 is greater than the hardness of the first layer 3511 and the second layer 3512. For example, the first layer 3511 and the second layer 3512 can be made of leather or cloth, the third layer 3513 can be made of rubber, and the third layer 3513 can be elastic. The third layer 3513 is made of a hard and elastic material, and can enhance the toughness of the soft material 151. In the process of opening the first body 11 relative to the second body 12, the soft material 351 does not generate excessive tensile deformation, and the protection of the soft material 351 on the pivot 13 is ensured.
Fig. 4A to 4D are schematic views illustrating the first body being opened at different angles relative to the second body. Please refer to fig. 1 and fig. 4A to 4D in sequence.
As shown in fig. 1, the first body 11 is closed relative to the second body 12, and since the first end 1511 of the soft material 151 is fixed on the outer side surface of the first body 11, the second end 1512 of the soft material 151 is fixed on the slider 152, and the slider 152 is stressed by the elastic member 14 (i.e., elastic restoring force), the soft material 151 is maintained in a flat state. The flat state refers to that the soft material 151 is pulled and stretched to make the tissue thereof tighter, and at the same time, because the elastic component 14 continuously applies stress to the sliding block 152, the soft material 151 can still maintain a tight fit on a part of the outer side surface of the first body 11 in the stretched state.
Referring to fig. 4A to 4D sequentially, an opening angle of the first body 11 with respect to the second body 12 in fig. 4A is, for example, 60 degrees, an opening angle of the first body 11 with respect to the second body 12 in fig. 4B is, for example, 90 degrees, an opening angle of the first body 11 with respect to the second body 12 in fig. 4C is, for example, 120 degrees, and an opening angle of the first body 11 with respect to the second body 12 in fig. 4D is, for example, 180 degrees. As the opening angle of the first body 11 relative to the second body 12 increases, the first end 1511 of the soft material 151 fixed on the outer side of the first body 11 does not change position, but the soft material 151 corresponding to the pivot 13 may easily generate a bending protrusion due to the gradual change of the opening angle of the first body 11 relative to the second body 12; at this time, the force that the second end 1512 of the soft material 151 pulls the slider 152 becomes relatively small, but the stress (i.e., the elastic restoring force of the spring) provided to the slider 152 by the elastic member 14 connected in the slider 152 and the second body 12 can change the position of the slider 152 in the second body 12 in real time while straining the soft material 151, so as to reduce the probability of forming a protrusion during the deformation of the soft material 151.
With the angle of the first body 11 relative to the second body 12 fixed, after the soft material 151, the slider 152 and the elastic element 14 reach the force balance again, the soft material 151 still tightly adheres to the outer side surface of the first body 11, and is maintained in a flat state.
In particular, the stress generated by the deformation of the elastic element 14 is less than the minimum torsion of the pivot 13; in this way, not only the covering module 15 can be maintained in a flat state (i.e. a state where the soft material 151 is tightly attached to the outer side surface of the first body 11), but also unexpected opening or closing of the first body 11 relative to the second body 12 caused by the stress generated by the deformation of the elastic member 14 being greater than the minimum torsion of the pivot 13 can be prevented, which may cause the electronic device 10 to tilt or injure the user by mistake.
Fig. 5 is a partial schematic view of the interior of the second body of fig. 1. Referring to fig. 5, it should be noted that as the opening angle of the first body 11 relative to the second body 12 increases, the soft material 151 corresponding to the pivot 13 is prone to generate a bending protrusion due to the gradual change of the opening angle of the first body 11 relative to the second body 12. In order to prevent the formation of the bending protrusion, a sliding rail 122 may be disposed at a position facing the soft material 151 inside the second body 12, and the covering module 15 further includes a comb 16 attached to the soft material 151, wherein the comb 16 is disposed corresponding to the sliding rail 122. When the first body 11 and the second body 12 are opened and closed relatively and the soft material 151 slides relative to the second body 12, the comb 16 and the corresponding slide rail 122 are engaged with each other to guide each other, so that the soft material 151 can be prevented from being stacked and clamped in the second body 12, and the surface smoothness of the soft material 151 can be maintained.
In summary, the electronic device of the present invention is decorated by the covering module on at least a partial surface of the first body, and the covering module can be customized to achieve advantages of brand publicity or personal individuality.
In addition, the coating module is formed by combining two components of soft materials and sliding blocks, and one side edge of the coating module is connected to the elastic piece, so that the coating module can be kept in a flat state by the stress applied to the coating module by the elastic piece, the appearance of the coating module is kept flat, and the bending bulge is reduced.
Furthermore, the stress generated by the elastic element due to deformation is smaller than the minimum torsion of the pivot, so that the electronic device can be prevented from falling.
Finally, it should be noted that: the above embodiments are only used to illustrate the technical solution of the present invention, and not to limit the same; while the invention has been described in detail and with reference to the foregoing embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that: the technical solutions described in the foregoing embodiments may still be modified, or some or all of the technical features may be equivalently replaced; and the modifications or the substitutions do not make the essence of the corresponding technical solutions depart from the scope of the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention.
