Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of deinsectization, in particular to a special efficient pest trapping device based on polarized light vision.
Background
If the direction of the light vector of a light wave is always constant and vibrates only in one fixed direction, the light is called linearly polarized light or fully polarized light. Since the light vectors of the linearly polarized light are all in the same vibration plane, the linearly polarized light is also called plane polarized light, and is called polarized light for short.
After entering the earth's atmosphere, the sunlight is scattered by the aerosols and the fine particles therein, with the result that a portion of the sunlight becomes polarized. With the sun as the center, the polarized light of the sky is arranged outwards like a plurality of concentric circles, which is the polarization mode of the sky, thereby effectively positioning the position of the sun.
Besides the polarized light formed by atmospheric scattering, there is another polarized light source in nature, which is the water surface reflected polarized light. The light reflected from the water surface is sometimes so intense that it is impossible to open the eyes. The light reflected by the water surface contains a large amount of polarized light with horizontal vibration and is very strong. This is the polarized light mode of water. Therefore, the position of the water source can be effectively positioned.
The eyes of the insect are called compound eyes, and in the back edge area of the compound eyes, there is a group of small eyes which are specially responsible for sensing polarized light, called back edge area (DRA) small eyes. The rod bundles of the DRA ommatidium are arranged with two groups of micro villi which are perpendicular to each other. One set of micro-hairs corresponds to polarized light in one direction and the other set of micro-hairs corresponds to polarized light in the perpendicular direction. The two groups of micro-linear hairs can be cooperated with each other to distinguish the vibration direction of the incident polarized light. Furthermore, scientists have discovered many nerve cells in the insect brain called "polarization antagonistic neurons". These nerve cells can be stimulated by polarized light with different vibration directions and form a feedback mechanism to tell the insect the vibration direction of the incident polarized light. Due to compound eyes and corresponding nerve cells, the insects have the magic ability of sensing the vibration direction of the polarized light, namely the polarized light vision of the insects
Many known pests are of migratory types, so if polarized light is artificially made, the pests can be better attracted by utilizing the polarized light vision of the insects, and the company can simply and quickly generate the polarized light by adding the polarized light sheet on the projection lamp, so that the migratory pests in the sky can be better attracted.
