Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the description is only exemplary and is not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure. In the following detailed description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiments of the present disclosure. It may be evident, however, that one or more embodiments may be practiced without these specific details. In addition, in the following description, descriptions of well-known structures and techniques are omitted so as not to unnecessarily obscure the concepts of the present disclosure.
The terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the disclosure. The terms "comprises," "comprising," and/or the like, as used herein, specify the presence of stated features, steps, operations, and/or components, but do not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, steps, operations, or components.
All terms (including technical and scientific terms) used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art unless otherwise defined. It should be noted that the terms used herein should be construed to have meanings consistent with the context of the present specification and should not be construed in an idealized or overly formal manner.
Where expressions like at least one of "A, B and C, etc. are used, the expressions should generally be interpreted in accordance with the meaning as commonly understood by those skilled in the art (e.g.," a system having at least one of A, B and C "shall include, but not be limited to, a system having a alone, B alone, C alone, a and B together, a and C together, B and C together, and/or A, B, C together, etc.). Where a formulation similar to at least one of "A, B or C, etc." is used, in general such a formulation should be interpreted in accordance with the ordinary understanding of one skilled in the art (e.g. "a system with at least one of A, B or C" would include but not be limited to systems with a alone, B alone, C alone, a and B together, a and C together, B and C together, and/or A, B, C together, etc.).
In general, the product page that the user initially touches and the page that the target operation eventually actually occurs are not necessarily the same page, for example, the product page that the user initially touches is page a, the page that eventually actually triggers the operation for activating the application is page C, and when the page a finally jumps to page C, page B, page D, and so on may also appear in the middle. If channel sources are counted according to channel parameters of the page (i.e., channel parameters of page C) where the target operation finally occurs, a situation that channel sources cannot be counted accurately may occur, so that the technical problem that the advantages and disadvantages of the channel sources cannot be reflected accurately may occur.
The internet product generally needs to count which channel the new installation or activation (also called call) of the application program is brought by, and produce corresponding data report, which is used to distinguish the channel quality and optimize the channel so as to reduce the cost of obtaining the new user or activating the user.
In one embodiment, statistics may be performed when an application is first opened or externally invoked after installation, and the statistical data sources are typically parameters externally transferred when the application is opened, or channel parameters written to the clipboard when new is brought up by an H5 page (a web page that may be used to present association information), or channel identifiers carried by the installation package may be used to distinguish between different channel sources when channel parameters cannot be obtained.
In the process of implementing the present disclosure, it is found that, because of uncertainty of environment and user operation, for example, a user shares an H5 page contacting a product through an operation activity or friends, jumps to other pages in the process of interacting with the page, finally triggers an action of downloading or calling an application program in other pages, when opening the application program to perform channel statistics, page channel parameters triggering the action of downloading or calling the application program are generally used instead of channel parameters of the initially contacted page, so that source amounts of channels cannot be strictly distinguished, and a statistical report cannot provide an accurate reference for product optimization decision, so how to accurately count new application program adding or calling amounts brought by channels becomes a difficult problem.
The embodiment of the disclosure provides a method and a device for determining the source of an application program, which are executed by terminal equipment. The method comprises the following steps: displaying a first interaction page comprising associated information for a target application, wherein the first interaction page comprises a first channel parameter associated with the first interaction page; in response to a user operation for the associated information, jumping from the first interactive page to a second interactive page, and transmitting first channel parameters to the second interactive page, wherein the second interactive page comprises second channel parameters associated with the second interactive page; and determining the source of the target application program according to the first channel parameter under the condition that the starting operation for starting the target application program is triggered in the second interaction page.
The method and the device provided by the embodiment of the disclosure can process channel parameters in the interaction process of the user and the product page and when the downloading or calling action is triggered, can be used for counting the channel source brought by the newly added installation or calling of the application program by distinguishing the source quantity of the original channel, and can accurately determine the channel source of the newly added downloading or calling of the application program, so that more accurate report data can be calculated to support optimization of each channel, and the acquisition and activation cost of the new user is reduced.

It should be understood that the number of terminal devices, networks and servers in fig. 1 is merely illustrative. There may be any number of terminal devices, networks, and servers, as desired for implementation.
Fig. 2 schematically illustrates a flowchart of a method performed by a terminal device for determining the source of an application according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, the method for determining the source of an application program, which is performed by the terminal device, includes operations S210 to S230.
In operation S210, a first interaction page including association information for a target application is presented, wherein the first interaction page includes a first channel parameter associated with the first interaction page.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the associated information may include popularization information, taking the target application program as an "electronic commerce application program" as an example, the associated information for the "electronic commerce application program" may be displayed on the first interaction page, and the associated information may be product operation activity information to be promoted by the "electronic commerce application program". Specifically, for example, the target application program is "multi-spelling", the associated information is "multi-spelling" in the afternoon, and the user can contact the H5 page of the product to be promoted by "multi-spelling" through activity sharing or code scanning, where the H5 page carries the first channel parameter associated with the H5 page.
According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the first channel parameter may be used to identify the source from which the target application was downloaded or invoked. The type and the division manner of the channels are not limited, and for example, the channels may be divided according to a popularization platform (e.g., an e-commerce platform, a search platform, etc.), or the channels may be divided according to pages, or further, the channels may be divided according to operation types, for example, 5 operation items in one page, and each operation item may have a corresponding channel parameter.
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the first channel parameter may include channel identification information for popularizing the target application and installation package identification information of the target application. The channel source of each application program of different versions can be determined through the channel identification information and the installation package identification information of the target application program, more accurate channel information is provided, and the acquisition and activation cost of a new user is reduced.
In operation S220, in response to a user operation for the associated information, jumping from the first interactive page to a second interactive page, and delivering the first channel parameters to the second interactive page, wherein the second interactive page includes the second channel parameters associated with the second interactive page.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, a user may operate associated information in a first interactive page, and the first interactive page may perform a skip operation in response to the user operation and then skip from the first interactive page to a second interactive page.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, when the first interactive page is jumped to the second interactive page, a plurality of interactive pages can be displayed in the middle, in other words, the first interactive page can be jumped one or more times and then the second interactive page can be displayed.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, when the first channel parameter is transferred to the second interactive page, the first channel parameter can be added into the uniform resource address of the second interactive page, so that when the source of the target application program is determined according to the first channel parameter, the uniform resource address of the second interactive page can be analyzed to obtain the first channel parameter.
According to embodiments of the present disclosure, each page capable of triggering the invocation or downloading of the target application has a corresponding channel parameter, and if the user directly enters the second interactive page and triggers the invocation or downloading of the target application, rather than jumping through the first interactive page into the second interactive page, the second channel parameter associated with the second interactive page should be used directly in determining the source of the target application. Thus, the second channel parameter may also be used to identify the source from which the target application was downloaded or invoked. For the description of the second channel parameters, reference may be made to the description of the first channel parameters, which will not be repeated here.
In operation S230, in case a start operation for starting the target application is triggered in the second interactive page, a source of the target application is determined according to the first channel parameter.
The embodiment of the disclosure can be applied to product services for realizing the newly added downloading or arousing of the target application program through the external source channels of the application program such as web pages and the like, for example, the newly added downloading or arousing of the target application program is brought through channels such as sharing fission, operation activities, cooperation exchange and the like.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, when the first interactive page is jumped to the second interactive page, the first channel parameters can be transferred to the second interactive page, and under the condition that the starting operation for starting the target application program is triggered in the second interactive page, the source of the target application program is determined according to the first channel parameters, so that the channel can be counted based on the initial channel parameters when the page is finally jumped out, the technical problem that the channel sources cannot be accurately reflected by adopting the related technology statistics channel sources is at least partially solved, and more accurate statistics channel sources are achieved, so that the technical effect of effectively analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the channel sources is facilitated, and accurate reference is provided for product optimization decisions.

According to the embodiment of the disclosure, for example, the first channel parameter is the identification information of the popularization platform, the identification information of the popularization platform can be obtained by utilizing analysis of the target application program, and then the source for calling the target application program is determined to be the popularization platform.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the correct channel parameters can be transmitted to the target application program to count the sources of the target application program, so that the effect of relatively accurately counting the sources of all channels is achieved, the user adding strategy or activating optimization is supported, and the cost of the user adding and activating of the application program product is reduced.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, in determining the source of the target application according to the first channel parameter, it may be determined whether the terminal device is installed with the target application.
According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal device may be, for example, a mobile terminal, such as a mobile phone, a computer, or the like. The terminal device can determine whether the permission capable of calling the target application program exists or not through the interface calling permission among different application programs, and if the permission capable of calling the target application program exists, the terminal device can be considered to be provided with the target application program. If the authority capable of calling the target application program does not exist, the terminal device can be considered to be not provided with the target application program, otherwise, the terminal device can be considered to be provided with the target application program. Or, whether the installation file of the target application program exists or not may be determined through the operating system of the terminal device, if the installation file of the target application program does not exist, it may be determined that the terminal device is not installed with the target application program, otherwise, it may be considered that the terminal device is installed with the target application program. According to the embodiment of the disclosure, under the condition that the terminal equipment is not provided with the target application program, the terminal equipment can jump to a third interaction page from the second interaction page, and the first channel parameters are transferred to the third interaction page, wherein the third interaction page also has corresponding third channel parameters. After triggering the download operation for downloading the target application in the third interactive page, the target application may be downloaded in response to the download operation, so as to determine the source of the target application using the downloaded target application.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, channel parameters can be transferred to the subsequent page during page skip, so that correct channel parameters can be transmitted to the target application program, and the source of the target application program can be counted.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, under the condition that the terminal equipment is not provided with the target application program, when the first channel parameter is transferred to the third interaction page, the first channel parameter can be written into the clipboard, so that the first channel parameter is acquired from the clipboard when the first channel parameter is analyzed by the target application program.
FIG. 5 schematically illustrates a flow chart for calculating the number of channel sources for a target application in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 5, the method includes operations S510 to S520.
In operation S510, the channel source number of the target application is calculated for a preset period of time.
