The network 103 is used as a medium for providing a communication link between the server 104 and the first device 101, and between the server 104 and the second device 102. The network 103 may include various connection types, such as wired or wireless communication links, and the like.
The first device 101 and the second device 102 may be, for example, various electronic devices with display screens, including but not limited to smart wearable devices, smartphones, tablet computers, laptop portable computers, desktop computers, and the like. The first device 101 and the second device 102 may be installed with various client applications, such as an e-book reading type application, a news reading type application, a video playing type application, an instant messaging type application, an intelligent office platform, etc. (as examples only), for example. In order to enable a user to quickly continue reading a text through the second device 102 when switching from using the first device 101 to using the second device 102 during reading the text, the server 104 may, for example, maintain a reading progress of the text, and the first device 101 and the second device 102 may, for example, synchronize the changed reading progress to the server 104 when the reading progress of the text changes.
It should be noted that, the information displaying method of the embodiment of the disclosure may be performed by the first device 101 or the second device 102, for example. Accordingly, the information display apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure may be disposed in the first device 101 or disposed in the second device 102, which will not be described herein.
It will be appreciated that the types of first device, second device, network and server in fig. 1 are merely illustrative. There may be any type of first device, second device, network, and server, as desired for implementation.
The application scenario described in conjunction with fig. 1 will be described in detail below by using fig. 2 to 6 to describe the information display method according to the embodiments of the present disclosure.
Fig. 2 schematically shows a flowchart of an information presentation method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 3 schematically illustrates an example diagram of an interactive interface presented by a first device according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, the information presentation method 200 of this embodiment may include operations S210 to S270.
In operation S210, an interaction page is presented, the interaction page including a list presentation control.
In operation S230, in response to the user' S operation on the list presentation control, an index list including at least one first index information in one-to-one correspondence with at least one text to be read is presented in the interactive page.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the interactive page may be, for example, a presentation page of a client application in the categories of instant messaging, information communication, text browsing, and the like. As shown in FIG. 3, the interactive page 300 includes a plurality of content sections, each of which includes at least one article. In addition, the interaction page 300 includes a list presentation control 310, the list presentation control 310 having an index list bound thereto. The list presentation control 310 may thus cause the first device to add the display index list 320 to the interactive page 300 in response to a user operation, causing the interactive page 300 to change to the interactive page 300'. Wherein the index list is composed of a plurality of first index information 321. Each first index information corresponds to one text to be read. The first index information may be constituted by, for example, a title of the first text to be read for which a hyperlink is established, or may be constituted by a posting authority of the first text to be read for which a hyperlink is established. The information pointed by the hyperlink of the first index information is the text to be read corresponding to the first index information.
Illustratively, it is considered that the index list includes first index information corresponding to the text to be read and is different for different users, and thus the index list also corresponds to the users. The server may, for example, maintain a mapping between the index list and the account information, so that the first device may obtain the index list that matches the current user. Accordingly, when the index list is displayed in operation S230, account information of the account in which the first device has logged in may be acquired first in response to the user operating the list display control, where the account information may include, for example, a user name. And then, according to the account information, sending a list acquisition request to the server, wherein the list acquisition request comprises the account information. And then the receiving server responds to the index list sent by the list acquisition request, and finally the received index list is displayed. After receiving the list obtaining request, the server may first search the index list having a mapping relation with the account information, and then send the index list obtained by searching to the first device.
For example, to make the presentation page aesthetically pleasing, the index list 320 may be displayed, for example, in a location near the list presentation control 310, and when the location near the list presentation control 310 is populated with other content, the index list 320 that is incrementally displayed may be caused to overlay the other content. In order to avoid that the excessive number of the first index information 321 included in the index list 320 causes insufficient page attractiveness or cannot completely display all the first index information 321, in this embodiment, a scroll bar control may be additionally displayed on the side of the display position of the index list 320, and in response to the operation of the scroll bar control by the user, the first index information displayed in the index list 320 may be changed, so that the user may conveniently view index information of all the texts to be read.
Illustratively, in order to provide the user with richer information, the user is facilitated to quickly learn the number of text to be read, and as shown in fig. 3, the number of text to be read may be presented to the user by text on the list presentation control 310. For example, the text on the list display control 310 may be "X to be read", where the value of X is equal to the number of the first index information included in the index list. For example, in the exemplary diagram shown in FIG. 3, the literal word on the list display control 310 is "4 to read". It is to be understood that this literal word is merely an example to facilitate understanding of the disclosure, which is not limited thereto.
In operation S250, in response to an operation of the user on any one of the at least one first index information, a text to be read corresponding to any one of the first index information is taken as a target text to be read, and a starting position for the target text to be read is acquired from the server.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the reading progress of different users is different for the same text to be read. Therefore, the start position of the target text to be read acquired in operation S250 should be able to indicate the reading progress of the user operating the first index information corresponding to the target text to be read. Thus, the starting position of the target reading text corresponds to the user one by one. In order to facilitate the feedback of the accurate starting position to the first device in response to the request of the first device, the server may maintain the text to be read and the mapping relationship between the starting position of the text to be read and the account information.
When the start position is acquired from the server in operation S250, account information of the account in which the first device has logged in may be acquired first, where the account information may uniquely correspond to the current user. And then, according to the account information, sending a position acquisition request aiming at the target text to be read to the server. Finally, the receiving server responds to the initial position sent by the position acquisition request for the text to be read. The location obtaining request may include account information and identification information of the target text to be read, for example. After receiving the position acquisition request, the server can acquire the text to be read and the initial position of the text to be read, which have a mapping relation with the account information in the position acquisition request. And then selecting and obtaining the starting position of the target text to be read according to the identification information of the target text to be read.
For example, to reduce the number of interactions between the first device and the server, the server may maintain a mapping relationship between account information and an index list, and the mapping relationship between the first index information in the index list and a corresponding starting position of the text to be read. Operation S230 may transmit index list request information having account information to the server in response to an operation for the list presentation control. The server responds to the index list request information, and can find an index list with a mapping relation with the account information and a starting position of a text to be read with the first index information included in the index list according to the account information. And sending the searched information to the first device for caching by the first device. In this embodiment, operation S250 may find, according to the identification information of any index information, the starting position of the text to be read corresponding to any index information from the local cache information.
In operation S270, according to the start position, jumping from the interactive page to the presentation page of the target text to be read.
Since the first index information is established with the hyperlink, and the information pointed by the hyperlink is the text to be read. Thus, if a user is interrupted by pushed information during the process of reading a text by an electronic device (e.g., the first device or other devices other than the first device), and wishes to continue reading the text by the first device after being interrupted, the user can be hyperlinked to the text by operating on the first index information corresponding to the text. After hyperlinking to the text, the first device may jump the interactive page 300' to a presentation page of the text.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the problem that the reading starting position needs to be repositioned when the reading is continued because the text reading process is interrupted is avoided. The embodiment of the disclosure can automatically upload the starting position of the text to the server 104 according to the reading progress of the text by the user when the electronic device jumps from the text display page to other pages. So that the starting location of the text is obtained from the server 104 as the user continues to read the text via the first device.
After the initial position is obtained through operation S250, when the text to be read is displayed through operation S270, the initial position may be used as an initial display position of the text to be read, and the text content of the text to be read is displayed, so as to implement the jump from the interactive page to the display page of the target text to be read.
For example, when uploading the starting position to the server, for example, a position of the starting character of the current presentation page of the electronic device in the entire text (for example, what character is in the entire text) may be used as the starting position.
For example, the reading progress of the target text to be read by the user can be embodied by a reading percentage of the target text to be read, and the starting position of the uploading can be determined according to the reading percentage. Wherein, the reading percentage can be represented by the percentage of the number of characters before the initial character of the current display page in the text to the total number of characters in the text.
Fig. 4 schematically illustrates a flowchart of a first device and a second device interacting with a server according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the reading progress of the text to be read is synchronized by the server conveniently. After the first device jumps from the interactive page to the presentation page of the target text to be read, as shown in fig. 4, the first device may send, for example, by executing operations S411 and/or S413, an updated start position capable of indicating the latest reading progress of the target text to be read to the server, so that when the user continues to read the target text to be read through the second device, the second device may obtain the updated start position of the target text to be read, thereby presenting the target text to be read according to the latest reading progress of the target text to be read.
In operation S411, the current start position of the target text to be read is determined as the updated start position every predetermined period. And the updated starting position of the target text to be read is obtained regularly, and the updated starting position is sent to the server. The predetermined period may be set according to an actual requirement, for example, the predetermined period may be 1min,2min, 5min or 10min, which is not limited in the disclosure.
In operation S413, in response to the operation of closing the presentation page of the target text to be read, a current start position of the target text to be read is determined, and the current start position is used as an updated start position, and the updated start position is sent to the server. The operation of closing the display page of the target text to be read may, for example, be through an operation of a user to a page closing control in the display page, or may include an operation of a user to other display areas except for the display page.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, when the current starting position of the target text to be read is determined, the first device can acquire the current display page of the target text to be read through screen capturing and the like. The location of the start character of the current presentation page in the target text to be read, which may include, for example, the character location, or the presentation page number, is then determined by identifying the presentation content of the current presentation page. And finally, taking the position of the initial character in the target text to be read as the current initial position. When the updated starting position is sent to the server, the sent data packet comprises account information and identification information of the target text to be read besides the updated starting position.
After the server receives the updated home position, the home position of the target pending text may be updated by performing operation S421 as shown in fig. 4. The server may first determine an index list corresponding to the account information, for example, according to the account information in the received data packet. And then, according to the first index information and the identification information of the target text to be read, which are included in the corresponding index list, searching the original starting position of the target text to be read from the starting position of the text to be read, which has a mapping relation with the first index information. And finally, replacing the original starting position of the target text to be read with the updated starting position.
In this manner, in response to the operation of opening the client application by the user, the second device may first perform operation S431, and display the interactive page, where operation S431 is similar to operation S210 described above. Then, in response to the operation of the user on the list display control, operation S433 is performed to acquire account information of the logged-in account, and a list acquisition request including the account information is sent to the server. After receiving the list obtaining request, the server may determine an index list having a mapping relationship with the account information in the list obtaining request, and a start position of each text to be read having a mapping relationship with each first index information in the index list by executing operation S423, and send the index list and the start position of each text to be read to the second device. When the account information in the list acquisition request sent by the second device is consistent with the account information in the updated starting position sent by the first device, the starting position of each text to be read sent by the server comprises the updated starting position of the target text to be read. After receiving the index list, the second device may execute operation S435 to display the index list. Operation S433 and operation S435 as a whole are similar to the implementation of the aforementioned operation S230. After the index list is presented in operation S435, the second device may perform operation S437 in response to an operation for any one of the plurality of first index information included in the index list, to determine a start position of the text to be read corresponding to any one of the index information. Then, operation S439 is performed to display the text to be read according to the start position of the text to be read. The operation S437 and the operation S439 are similar to the operation S250 and the operation S270, respectively, and are not described herein.
It should be noted that, the second device may also update the start position of the displayed text to be read through operation S411 and/or operation S413 similar to the first device, and upload the updated start position to the server.
It is understood that the second device herein may be, for example, the same device as the first device, and operation S431 may be an operation performed when the same device opens the client application again after operation S413.
Fig. 5 schematically illustrates an example diagram of an interaction page according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 6 schematically illustrates a flow chart of a first device and a second device interacting with a server according to another embodiment of the present disclosure.
According to embodiments of the present disclosure, to facilitate the user to add text to be read. As shown in fig. 5, in the interactive page 500 presented through operation S210, for example, in addition to the list presentation control 310, second index information 530 having one-to-one correspondence with at least one recommended text and at least one interactive control 540 having one-to-one correspondence with at least one recommended text may be presented.
The second index information 530 may be composed of, for example, title and summary content of the recommendation information with the hyperlinks established therein, or title and source information of the recommendation information with the hyperlinks established therein. The hyperlink of the second index information points to full text information of the recommendation information.
Illustratively, in response to a user's operation of any of the at least one interactive control 540, the interactive page may, for example, add a display interaction sub-control 550, the interaction sub-control 550 including at least a "to-read" sub-control. In an embodiment, the interactive sub-control 550 may also include a "favorites" sub-control. Thus, in response to an operation for any of the interaction controls, as shown in FIG. 5, the interaction page 500 is changed to interaction page 500'. In response to the operation of the "to-be-read" sub-control displayed after the operation of any one of the interactive controls, the first device may perform operations S611 to S613 as shown in fig. 6 to increase the text to be read. It is to be appreciated that the interactive control 540 depicted in fig. 5 is merely an example to facilitate understanding of the present disclosure, which is not limited in this disclosure. For example, in one embodiment, in response to a user operation on the interaction control 540, the first electronic device may perform operations S611-S613.
In operation S611, it is determined that the recommended text corresponding to any one of the interactive controls is a new text to be read.
In operation S613, according to the second index information corresponding to the new text to be read, the first index information corresponding to the new text to be read is added to the index list, and an updated index list is obtained.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, for example, the displayed second index information corresponding to the new text to be read can be deleted, so as to obtain the first index information capable of indicating the new text to be read. For example, if the second index information is composed of a title and a summary of the new text to be read, only the title of the new text to be read may be retained as the first index information by pruning. In response to the generation of the first index information, the first device may update the index list to which list presentation control 310 is bound.
Meanwhile, in order to facilitate that when the user continues to browse the new text to be read through the second device except the first device, the first device can find the first index information of the new text to be read from the index list, and the first device can send the updated index list to the server so that the second device can acquire the latest index list. After the server receives the updated index list, the existing index list may be updated according to the updated index list by performing operation S621. When the first device sends the updated index list, account information can be sent to the server at the same time. Therefore, the server side can firstly determine the index list which is stored by the server side and has a mapping relation with the received account information. And then replacing the determined index list by using the received updated index list to realize the updating of the index list.
In order to facilitate deletion of text to be read, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 5, in addition to at least one first index information 321, at least one deletion control 522 in one-to-one correspondence with the at least one first index information 321 may be included in the index list 520 illustrated through operation S230. In response to the user' S operation on any deletion control 522 of the at least one deletion control 522, the first device may, for example, perform operation S615 as shown in fig. 6, delete the first index information corresponding to any deletion control from the index list, and obtain an updated index list.
In order to facilitate that when the user continues to browse the new text to be read through the second device except the first device, the first device does not see the first index information of the deleted text to be read from the index list any more, and the first device may send the updated index list to the server so that the second device can obtain the latest index list. After the server receives the updated index list, the existing index list may be updated according to the updated index list by performing operation S621. And will not be described in detail herein.
In this manner, in response to the operation of opening the client application by the user, operation S631 may be performed first, and the interactive page is presented, where operation S631 is similar to operation S210 described above. Then, in response to the operation of the user on the list display control, operation S633 is performed to acquire account information of the logged-in account, and a list acquisition request is sent to the server, where the list acquisition request includes the account information. After receiving the list obtaining request, the server may determine an index list having a mapping relationship with the account information in the list obtaining request, and a start position of each text to be read having a mapping relationship with each first index information in the index list by performing operation S623, and send the index list and the start position of each text to be read to the second device. When the account information in the list obtaining request sent by the second device is consistent with the account information in the updated starting position sent by the first device, the index list sent by the server is the updated index list obtained through operation S621. After receiving the index list, the second device may execute operation S635 to display the index list. Operations S633 and S635 as a whole are similar to the implementation of the aforementioned operation S230. After the index list is presented in operation S635, the second device may perform operation S637 in response to an operation for any one of the plurality of first index information included in the index list, to determine a start position of the text to be read corresponding to any one of the index information. Then, operation S639 is performed to display the text to be read according to the start position of the text to be read. The operation S637 and the operation S639 are similar to the operation S250 and the operation S270, respectively, and are not described herein.
It should be noted that, the second device may also update the index list through operations S611 to S613, and/or operation S615, which are similar to those performed by the first device, and upload the updated index list to the server.
It is to be understood that the second device may be the same device as the first device, and operation S631 may be an operation performed when the client application is opened again after the same device closes the interaction page.
It will be appreciated that fig. 3 and fig. 5 only illustrate the interactive page as a presentation page of the desktop first device, such as a desktop or a portable computer. When the first device is a handheld device such as a smart phone, a tablet computer, an intelligent wearable device and the like, the interactive page is similar to that of fig. 3 and 5, and the difference is that the page arrangement mode is different.
