It will be appreciated that the types of first device, second device, network and server in fig. 1 are merely illustrative. There may be any type of first device, second device, network, and server, as the implementation requires.
The information display method according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is described in detail with reference to fig. 2 to 6 in the following application scenario described in fig. 1.
Fig. 2 schematically shows a flow chart of an information presentation method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 3 schematically illustrates an example diagram of an interactive interface presented by a first device in accordance with an embodiment of the disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, the information presentation method 200 of this embodiment may include operations S210 to S270.
In operation S210, an interactive page is presented, the interactive page including a list presentation control.
In operation S230, in response to a user' S operation on the list presentation control, an index list is presented in the interactive page, where the index list includes at least one first index information in one-to-one correspondence with at least one text to be read.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the interactive page may be, for example, a presentation page of a client application in a category of an instant messaging category, an information exchange category, a text browsing category, and the like. As shown in FIG. 3, the interactive page 300 includes a plurality of content sections, each of which includes at least one article. In addition, the interactive page 300 further includes a list presentation control 310, and the list presentation control 310 is bound with an index list. The list presentation control 310 may cause the first device to add the display index list 320 in the interaction page 300 in response to a user operation, causing the interaction page 300 to change to the interaction page 300'. The index list is composed of a plurality of first index information 321. Each piece of first index information corresponds to a text to be read. Illustratively, the first index information may be constituted by, for example, a title of the first text to be read in which the hyperlink is established, or may be constituted by a publishing organization of the first text to be read in which the hyperlink is established. The information pointed by the hyperlink of the first index information is the text to be read corresponding to the first index information.
Illustratively, the index list also corresponds to the user, considering that the index list includes first index information corresponding to the text to be read, and the text to be read is different for different users. A mapping relationship between the index list and the account information may be maintained in the server, for example, so that the first device may obtain the index list matching the current user. Accordingly, when the index list is presented, in operation S230, account information of the account that the first device has logged in may be obtained in response to an operation of the user on the list presentation control, where the account information may include, for example, a user name. And then, according to the account information, sending a list acquisition request to the server, wherein the list acquisition request comprises the account information. And then receiving the index list sent by the server in response to the list acquisition request, and finally displaying the received index list. After receiving the list acquisition request, the server may first search for an index list having a mapping relationship with the account information, and then send the index list obtained by the search to the first device.
Illustratively, to make the presentation page aesthetically pleasing, the index list 320 may be displayed, for example, at a location near the list presentation control 310, and when the location near the list presentation control 310 is populated with other content, the additionally displayed index list 320 may be caused to overlay the other content. In order to avoid that the index list 320 includes too many pieces of first index information 321, which results in insufficient page aesthetics or failure to completely display all the first index information 321, the present embodiment may further add a scroll bar control to the side of the display position of the index list 320, and in response to the operation of the scroll bar control by the user, the first index information displayed in the index list 320 may be changed, so as to facilitate the user to view all the index information of the text to be read.
Illustratively, in order to provide richer information to the user and facilitate the user to quickly know the number of the texts to be read, as shown in fig. 3, the number of the texts to be read can be displayed to the user through the characters on the list display control 310. For example, the text typeface on the list display control 310 may be "X pieces to be read", where a value of X is equal to the number of the first index information included in the index list. For example, in the example diagram shown in FIG. 3, the literal typeface on the list presentation control 310 is "4 pending". It is to be understood that this text is by way of example only to facilitate an understanding of the present disclosure, and is not intended to be limiting.
In operation S250, in response to an operation of a user on any one of the at least one first index information, a text to be read corresponding to any one of the first index information is taken as a target text to be read, and a start position of the target text to be read is obtained from the server.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, for the same text to be read, the reading progress of different users is different. Therefore, the start position of the target text to be read acquired in operation S250 should be able to indicate the reading progress of the user operating the first index information corresponding to the target text to be read. Therefore, the starting position of the target reading text corresponds to the user one by one. In order to facilitate the feedback of the accurate starting position to the first device in response to the request of the first device, the to-be-read text and the mapping relationship between the starting position of the to-be-read text and the account information can be maintained in the server.
In operation S250, when the start location is obtained from the server, account information of a logged account of the first device may be obtained first, and the account information may uniquely correspond to the current user. And then sending a position acquisition request aiming at the target text to be read to the server according to the account information. Finally, the initial position sent by the server in response to the position acquisition request aiming at the text to be read is received. The location obtaining request may include, for example, account information and identification information of the target text to be read. After receiving the location obtaining request, the server may first obtain a text to be read having a mapping relationship with account information in the location obtaining request and an initial location of the text to be read. And then selecting and obtaining the initial position of the target text to be read according to the identification information of the target text to be read.
For example, in order to reduce the number of interactions between the first device and the server, the server may maintain a mapping relationship between the account information and the index list, and a mapping relationship between the first index information in the index list and a start position of the corresponding text to be read. Operation S230 may transmit index list request information having account information to the server in response to the operation for the list presentation control. The server responds to the index list request information, and can find the index list having a mapping relation with the account information and the initial position of the text to be read having a mapping relation with the first index information included in the index list according to the account information. And sending the searched information to the first equipment for caching and using by the first equipment. In this embodiment, operation S250 may find the starting position of the text to be read corresponding to any index information from the local cache information according to the identification information of any index information.
In operation S270, jumping from the interactive page to a display page of the target text to be read according to the starting position.
Because the first index information is established with the hyperlink, and the information pointed by the hyperlink is the text to be read. Therefore, if the user is interrupted by the pushed information during the process of reading the text through the electronic device (e.g., the first device or another device except the first device), and wants to continue reading the text through the first device after the interruption, the user can hyperlink to the text by operating the first index information corresponding to the text. After hyperlinking to the text, the first device may jump the interaction page 300' to a presentation page of the text.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the problem that the reading starting position needs to be repositioned when the reading is continued due to the fact that the text reading process is interrupted is avoided. The embodiment of the disclosure may automatically upload the starting position of the text to the server 104 according to the reading progress of the user on the text when the electronic device jumps from the text display page to another page. So that the starting position of the text is retrieved from the server 104 while the user continues to read the text through the first device.
After the initial position is obtained in operation S250, when the text to be read is displayed in operation S270, the initial position may be used as the initial display position of the text to be read, and the text content of the text to be read is displayed, so that the jump from the interactive page to the display page of the target text to be read is realized.
For example, when uploading the starting position to the server, the position of the starting character of the page currently presented by the electronic device in the whole text (for example, the few characters in the whole text) may be used as the starting position.
Illustratively, the reading progress of the target text to be read by the user can be represented by a reading percentage of the target text to be read, and the uploading starting position can be determined according to the reading percentage. Wherein the reading percentage can be represented by the percentage of the number of characters in the text before the initial character of the current display page to the total number of characters in the text.
Fig. 4 schematically shows a flow chart of the first device and the second device interacting with the server according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the reading progress of the text to be read is synchronized conveniently by the server. After the first device jumps from the interactive page to the display page of the target text to be read, as shown in fig. 4, for example, by performing operation S411 and/or operation S413, the first device may send an updated start position capable of indicating the latest reading progress of the target text to be read to the server, so that when the user continues to read the target text to be read through the second device, the second device may obtain the updated start position of the target text to be read, and thus the target text to be read is displayed according to the latest reading progress of the target text to be read.
In operation S411, a current start position of the target text to be read is determined at intervals of a predetermined period as an updated start position. Namely, the updated initial position of the target text to be read is periodically acquired, and the updated initial position is sent to the server. The predetermined time period may be set according to an actual requirement, for example, the predetermined time period may be 1min, 2min, 5min, or 10min, which is not limited in the present disclosure.
In operation S413, in response to the operation of closing the display page of the target text to be read, a current starting position of the target text to be read is determined, and the current starting position is used as an updated starting position, and the updated starting position is sent to the server. The operation of closing the display page of the target text to be read may be, for example, an operation of a user on a page closing control in the display page, or may include an operation of the user on another display area except the display page.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, when the current initial position of the target text to be read is determined, the first device can obtain the current display page of the target text to be read through modes such as screen capturing and the like. And then, by identifying the display content of the current display page, determining the position of the starting character of the current display page in the target text to be read, wherein the position can comprise a character position or a display page number, for example. And finally, taking the position of the starting character in the target text to be read as the current starting position. When the updated initial position is sent to the server, the sent data packet should include the account information and the identification information of the target text to be read, in addition to the updated initial position.
After the server receives the updated start position, the start position of the target text to be read may be updated by performing operation S421 as shown in fig. 4. The server may, for example, first determine an index list corresponding to the account information according to the account information in the received data packet. And then, according to the first index information and the identification information of the target text to be read which are included in the corresponding index list, finding out the original initial position of the target text to be read from the initial positions of the text to be read which have a mapping relation with the first index information. And finally, replacing the original initial position of the target text to be read by the updated initial position.
In this way, in response to the user opening the client application, operation S431 may be performed first on the second device to present the interactive page, where operation S431 is similar to operation S210 described above. Then, in response to the operation of the user on the list display control, operation S433 is performed to acquire account information of the logged-in account, and send a list acquisition request to the server, where the list acquisition request includes the account information. After receiving the list obtaining request, the server may determine, by performing operation S423, an index list having a mapping relationship with the account information in the list obtaining request and a start position of each text to be read in the index list having a mapping relationship with each first index information, and send the index list and the start position of each text to be read to the second device. When the account information in the list acquisition request sent by the second device is consistent with the account information in the updated start position sent by the first device, the start position of each text to be read sent by the server comprises the updated start position of the target text to be read. After receiving the index list, the second device may perform operation S435 to display the index list. Operations S433 and S435 as a whole operate similarly to the foregoing implementation of operation S230. After the index list is presented in operation S435, the second device may perform operation S437 in response to an operation on any one of the first index information included in the index list, and determine a starting position of a text to be read corresponding to the any one of the index information. Then, operation S439 is performed to display the text to be read according to the starting position of the text to be read. Operations S437 and S439 are similar to operations S250 and S270, respectively, and are not described herein again.
It should be noted that, for example, the second device may also update the start position of the displayed text to be read through operation S411 and/or operation S413 that are similar to those executed by the first device, and upload the updated start position to the server.
It is to be understood that the second device may be the same device as the first device, and the operation S431 may be an operation performed when the same device opens the client application again after the operation S413.
FIG. 5 schematically shows an example diagram of an interaction page according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 6 schematically shows a flow diagram of a first device and a second device interacting with a server according to another embodiment of the present disclosure.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the text to be read is added for the convenience of the user. As shown in fig. 5, in the interaction page 500 presented through operation S210, in addition to the list presentation control 310, for example, second index information 530 having a one-to-one correspondence with at least one recommended text and at least one interaction control 540 having a one-to-one correspondence with at least one recommended text may be presented.
Illustratively, the second index information 530 may be composed of, for example, a title and a summary content of the recommendation information with a hyperlink established, or may be composed of a title and source information of the recommendation information with a hyperlink established. The hyperlink of the second index information points to full-text information of the recommendation information.
Illustratively, in response to a user operation with respect to any of the at least one interaction control 540, the interaction page may, for example, additionally display an interaction sub-control 550, the interaction sub-control 550 including at least a "to-read" sub-control. In one embodiment, the interactive child control 550 may also include a "favorites" child control. Thus, in response to an operation directed to any of the interaction controls, as shown in FIG. 5, interaction page 500 changes to interaction page 500'. In response to the operation of the "to-be-read" sub-control displayed after the operation of any one of the interaction controls, the first device may perform operations S611 to S613 shown in fig. 6 to add text to be read. It is to be appreciated that the interaction control 540 depicted in FIG. 5 is by way of example only to facilitate an understanding of the present disclosure, and is not intended to be limiting. For example, in an embodiment, in response to the user operating the interactive control 540, the first electronic device may perform operations S611 to S613.
In operation S611, the recommended text corresponding to any interactive control is determined to be a new text to be read.
In operation S613, first index information corresponding to the new text to be read is added to the index list according to the second index information corresponding to the new text to be read, so as to obtain an updated index list.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, for example, the displayed second index information corresponding to the new text to be read can be deleted, so that the first index information capable of indicating the new text to be read is obtained. For example, if the second index information is composed of a title and an abstract of the new text to be read, only the title of the new text to be read may be retained as the first index information by the deletion. In response to the generation of the first index information, the first device may update the index list to which the list presentation control 310 is bound.
Meanwhile, in order to facilitate that when the user continues to browse the new text to be read through the second device except the first device, the first index information of the new text to be read can be searched from the index list, the first device can send the updated index list to the server, so that the second device can obtain the latest index list. After the server receives the updated index list, the existing index list may be updated according to the updated index list by performing operation S621. When the first device sends the updated index list, the account information can be sent to the server at the same time. Therefore, the server may determine the index list stored by the server and having a mapping relationship with the received account information. And then replacing the determined index list with the received updated index list to update the index list.
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, in order to facilitate deletion of the pending text, as shown in fig. 5, in addition to the at least one first index information 321, at least one deletion control 522 corresponding to the at least one first index information 321 may be included in the index list 520 illustrated in operation S230. In response to the user operating any deletion control 522 of the at least one deletion control 522, the first device may execute operation S615 as shown in fig. 6, for example, to delete the first index information corresponding to any deletion control from the index list, and obtain an updated index list.
In order to facilitate that when the user continues to browse the new text to be read through the second device except the first device, the first index information of the deleted text to be read is no longer viewed from the index list, the first device may send the updated index list to the server, so that the second device can obtain the latest index list. After the server receives the updated index list, the existing index list may be updated according to the updated index list by performing operation S621. And will not be described in detail herein.
In this way, in response to the user opening the client application, operation S631 may be performed first at the second device, where operation S631 is similar to operation S210. Then, in response to the operation of the user on the list presentation control, operation S633 is performed to acquire account information of the logged-in account, and send a list acquisition request to the server, where the list acquisition request includes the account information. After receiving the list acquisition request, the server may determine, by performing operation S623, an index list having a mapping relationship with the account information in the list acquisition request and a start position of each text to be read in the index list having a mapping relationship with each first index information, and send the index list and the start position of each text to be read to the second device. When the account information in the list obtaining request sent by the second device is consistent with the account information in the updated start location sent by the first device, the index list sent by the server is the updated index list obtained in operation S621. After receiving the index list, the second device may perform operation S635 to display the index list. Operations S633 and S635 as a whole operate similarly to the implementation of the aforementioned operation S230. After the index list is presented in operation S635, the second device may perform operation S637 in response to an operation on any one of the first index information included in the index list, and determine a starting position of a text to be read corresponding to the any one of the index information. Then, operation S639 is performed to display the text to be read according to the starting position of the text to be read. Operations S637 and S639 are similar to operations S250 and S270, respectively, and are not described again here.
It should be noted that, for example, the second device may update the index list through operations S611 to S613 and/or operation S615, which are similar to those performed by the first device, and upload the updated index list to the server.
It is understood that the second device may be the same device as the first device, and operation S631 may be an operation performed when the client application is opened again after the interactive page is closed by the same device.
