Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of internet information processing, in particular to a system and a method for inquiring and displaying biological geographic distribution.
Background
Biodistribution is the geographical distribution of living beings. The extent to which any biological taxa (species, genus, subspecies or varieties thereof, etc.) are distributed on the surface of the earth is called its distribution area, and the size and shape of the distribution area of the different taxa vary greatly, depending on both the spreading capacity of the organism itself and the external conditions it encounters, and on historical factors, etc. It is widely accepted that biodistribution is most fundamentally determined by latitude and sea-land locations. These two factors determine the climate of the area, which directly affects the air temperature and precipitation of the area.
With the advent of the big data age, traditional biodiversity research began to gradually transition to data-intensive scientific research. According to different levels of biodiversity, utilization value and protection measures, establishing various databases is an important basic work for promoting biodiversity protection, education and research.
On the other hand, as animals and plants exported in China are increased year by year in recent years, a complete metadata base for origin identification, physical properties, genetic characterization and the like is not established at present, and a system capable of rapidly tracing the origin of organisms and displaying the origin of organisms is not developed, so that the protection of special strategic biological resources cannot be effectively realized.
At present, the supervision of biological resources is greatly dilemma. For example, for special living things such as customs ports in China, manual identification (i.e. manual unpacking and unpacking visual inspection and distinguishing) is mainly performed, so that the inspection mode is time-consuming and labor-consuming, and a great deal of special biological resources which are stolen cannot be accurately and comprehensively inspected, so that the biological resources are gradually lost year by year.
Therefore, there is a strong need for a system and method for automatically identifying living beings, obtaining species names of living beings, tracing and visualizing the geographical distribution of living beings.
