背景技术
从GB 810628已知这种管连接。该出版物公开了一种具有通孔和内螺纹的主体,从而提供了螺母状的环。主体布置在管上,并通过布置在管壁中的脊来保持在管上。在管的末端,布置了软管。然后,将螺母状的环旋转到软管上,以使螺纹切入软管并将软管固定至管。
缺点是管端需要变形以提供脊,这需要特殊的设备,该设备并不总是可用的,特别是在用户要更换管部件的维修过程中。
US 4488738公开了一种管连接,其中,主体设有通孔,在该通孔中布置有锥形螺纹,使得中径减小。螺纹深度实际上从零开始并增加,这样,当通过旋转将管插入通孔时,螺纹被切入管中。
特定螺纹(内螺纹或外螺纹)的中径是与螺纹轴向同心的圆柱表面的直径,其在等距点与螺纹侧面相交,当在包含螺纹轴线的横截面中观察时,这些点之间的距离恰好是螺距的一半。
由于螺纹的锥形形状,该连接不太适合承受轴向力和径向力。由于通孔和螺纹的锥形形状,这种力将管从管连接中推出。轴向力的最大部分将由螺纹的最后一圈承担,一旦最后一圈失败,该连接就会松动。
还已知通过钎焊将管连接至例如接头。钎焊允许牢固的连接,通常适用于高压应用。但是,钎焊费时、费力、昂贵并且容易出错。此外,长管不能钎焊,因为它们不适合典型的钎焊炉。结果,钎焊过程通常不适合短期订购或维修损坏的连接。
因此,本发明的目的是减少或甚至消除上述缺点。
发明内容
根据本发明,该目的根据前序部分的管连接得以实现,其特征在于,该螺纹的最大直径沿轴向从第一端向第二端增大,并且其中该螺纹的最小直径沿轴向从第一端向第二端减小。
由于管连接的螺纹具有恒定的中径,当最大直径增大并且最小直径减小时,通过旋转插入到管接头中的管会有一端向外张开。这是由于该螺纹的最小直径引起的,当在通孔中向内旋转时,其会使管的材料变形。变形的材料会被推入由增大的螺纹的最大直径所提供的空间中。
管端的最终形状将向外张开,而通孔中的内螺纹形状为圆锥形,从第一端向内向第二端变宽。结果,在管连接和管之间设有了形状限定的连接,其不仅仅如US4488738中那样依赖于螺纹的单个转动。
本发明的另一个优点是,无需任何专用工具即可进行该管连接。只要能够产生足够的扭矩以将直管端旋转到管连接中,就可以实现可靠的连接。
为了确保密封连接,可以在管端和管连接之间设有特殊的胶水,或者可以在管端区域内设置软密封或热塑性密封。
在根据本发明的管连接的优选实施例中,螺纹在距第一端一定距离的地方开始,使得在第一端与该螺纹之间的通孔中设置有圆柱形表面。
该圆柱形表面为管端提供支撑,从而有助于管端的插入,但也可以承受施加在管端上的弯曲应力。在圆柱形表面上,弯曲应力被施加在远离设有螺纹的管端部分的管端部分上,使得设有螺纹的部分实际上仅受到轴向力。
优选地,该圆柱形表面的直径等于中径。这允许从该圆柱形表面向螺纹部分的平滑过渡。
在根据本发明的管连接的另一优选实施例中,最大直径和最小直径在螺纹的开始处相等。
这确保了该螺纹从螺纹深度为零开始,并且直径与中径相对应的管端可以插入到管连接中。然后通过旋转该管端并将其进一步插入通孔中,通过管连接的内螺纹提供所需的管端的扩口形状。
在根据本发明的管连接的又一优选实施例中,最小直径以1°-5°的角度减小。
1°–5°的角度允许将管端拧入管连接中,而无需额外的轴向力,也无需额外的专用工具。
在根据本发明的管连接的又一优选实施例中,主体包括六棱柱形状,其中六棱柱的轴线与中心轴线同轴。
对于六棱柱形状,可以使用典型的活动扳手或机用扳手将本发明的管连接与管端连接。

图1示出了具有带有通孔3的主体2的管连接1。通孔3的第一端设有圆柱形部分4,随后是内螺纹5。
在第二端,主体2在外表面6上设有软管连接。此外,在主体2上设有六棱柱形状7,以允许活动扳手或机用扳手的啮合。
螺纹5具有恒定的中径Dp,而最小直径Dmin从圆柱形部分4向主体的第二端减小并且最大直径Dmax从圆柱形部分4向第二端增大。
最小直径Dmin以角度α减小,其最好在1°和5°之间,从而当将管端8拧入管连接1时不需要额外的轴向力。
最大直径Dmax增加量与最小直径Dmin减小量相同。这确保了中径Dp是恒定的,而且还确保了被最小直径Dmin变形的材料的量可以由于增大的最大直径Dmax而被推向膨胀空间。
插入到管连接1中并在图1中以分解图示出的管端8具有标准直径Dnorm。由于螺纹5的形状,管端8的端部张开至扩大的直径Dexp,这提供了管端8与管连接1的形状限定的连接。
图2示出了管端8和管连接1处于组装状态。标准直径Dnorm对应于螺纹的中径Dp。管端8的端部张开至扩大的直径Dexp,其与螺纹5的该位置处的最大直径Dmax几乎相等。

Claims (6)
