The embodiment of the present invention does not limit the specific type of the "image forming apparatus".
The embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Example 1
This embodiment 1 provides an image forming method performed by an image forming apparatus. Fig. 1 is a schematic view of an image forming method of the present embodiment. As shown in fig. 1, the method comprises the steps of:
in step 101, when test printing is performed on test print data, guide information for guiding a user to perform a relevant action is printed on a medium together with the test print data.
Through the embodiment, the guide information for guiding the user to perform the relevant action and the test printing data are printed on the medium together, so that the image forming device can guide the user to perform the subsequent action after the test printing, namely, the image forming device supports the user action corresponding to the test printing, therefore, the user can perform the relevant action according to the guide information, and the user experience is improved.
In the present embodiment, the medium may be a carrier on which print data can be printed, such as a print sheet, a photographic paper for printing, or the like.
In the present embodiment, the test print data is print data for performing test printing.
In the present embodiment, the test print may be a print for solving a problem related to the quality of the print result. For example, the problem related to the quality of the print result may be some problems occurring in the print result formed by printing on the medium due to contamination of part of components in the image forming apparatus with carbon powder or other dirt, such as large-area belt-like, lump-like or linear contamination and/or small-area dot-like contamination present in the print result.
In the present embodiment, the guidance information is information for guiding at least one action subsequent to the test printing to the user.
In one embodiment, the guide information may include information guiding the user to confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved. For example, the guidance information may be the following information: please confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved. ". In this way, the user can confirm the problem in the print result based on the information when viewing the information printed on the medium.
In another embodiment, the guide information may include information guiding the user to confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved, and information guiding the user to perform a related operation if the quality of the print result is not improved. Wherein the information for guiding the user to confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved is as described above.
The information for guiding the user to perform the relevant operation if the quality of the print result is not improved may include, for example, information for guiding the user to perform the relevant operation on at least one component of the image forming apparatus if the quality of the print result is not improved, such as information for guiding the user to perform a cleaning operation on at least one component of the image forming apparatus if the quality of the print result is not improved. For example, the information may be "if the quality of the print result is not improved, the relevant parts in the printer may be contaminated, please clean the relevant parts", so that the user performs the cleaning operation based on the information.
The information for guiding the user to perform the cleaning operation on at least one component of the image forming apparatus without improving the quality of the print result may be, for example, information for guiding the user to perform the cleaning operation on at least one component of the image forming apparatus which is likely to cause contamination of the print result without improving the quality of the print result. In an image forming apparatus using toner, such as a Light Emitting Diode (LED) printer, a laser printer, and the like, components that easily cause contamination of a printing result may include, for example, a print head, a toner cartridge, a conveyor belt unit, a fuser unit, and the like. The present embodiment is not limited to this, and the component that easily causes contamination of the printing result may include other components. In addition, in other types of image forming apparatuses, such as those using ink cartridges, components that are likely to cause contamination of the print result may be similarly defined.
Further, the guidance information may further include information prompting the user about the quality of the print result, which may be, for example, "the quality of the print result is improved to mean: no band-like, lump-like or linear contaminated areas nor stains appeared in the printed results ".
The following exemplifies the guidance information. For example, the guidance information may be the following information:
please confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved. Wherein, the improvement of the quality of the printing result means that: no band-like, block-like or line-like contaminated areas nor stains appeared in the printed results.
If not improved, the associated components within the printer may become contaminated, requiring cleaning of the associated components. "
In this way, when the user observes the information printed on the medium, the related component can be cleaned according to the information, and therefore, the user experience is improved.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a print result on a medium after test print data is printed. As shown in fig. 2, a medium 200 is printed with guide information 202 and test print data 201 that guide a user to perform a relevant action. For example, the test print data 201 is constituted by color stripes of different colors. The above-described problem relating to the quality of the print result is not illustrated in the print result shown in fig. 2.
By the image forming method of the embodiment, the guide information for guiding the user to perform the relevant action and the test print data are printed on the medium together, so that the image forming apparatus can guide the user to perform the subsequent action after the test print, that is, the image forming apparatus supports the user action corresponding to the test print, and thus, the user can perform the relevant action according to the guide information, and the user experience is improved.
Example 2
Embodiment 2 provides an image forming method. In embodiment 2, the same contents as those in embodiment 1 are not described again. Only the differences between example 2 and example 1 will be described below.
Embodiment 2 is different from embodiment 1 mainly in that a screen is also displayed in embodiment 2, and the guidance information is information corresponding to the screen.
Fig. 3 is a schematic view of the image forming method of the present embodiment. As shown in fig. 3, the method includes:
step 301, when test printing is performed on the test printing data, the guide information for guiding the user to perform the relevant action is printed on the medium together with the test printing data;
wherein, the step is the same as step 101 in embodiment 1, and the test print data is also the same as in embodiment 1, which is not described herein again;
step 302, displaying a picture, wherein the guide information is information corresponding to the displayed picture;
in the above-described embodiment, the guide information for guiding the user to perform the relevant action is printed on the medium together with the test print data, so that the relevant action can be presented to the user by using the guide information, and the screen is displayed, and the guide information is information corresponding to the displayed screen, so that the relevant action can be presented to the user by using the display screen corresponding to the guide information, and thus, the image forming apparatus can provide the information of the post-action after the print test to the user in a richer manner, and the user can perform the post-action based on the guide information and the displayed screen, and the user experience is further improved.
The screen is displayed on a display panel of the image forming apparatus.
In one embodiment, the screen displayed may be an improvement confirmation screen that guides the user to confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved, that is, the information displayed on the screen is information that guides the user to confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an improvement confirmation screen 400 according to the present embodiment. Corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen 400 shown in fig. 4, the guidance information may be, for example, the following information:
please confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved.
If so, please select "Yes" for the display panel display.
If not, please select "no" for the display panel display. "
When the user observes the guidance information, the user can perform a selection operation for the improvement confirmation screen displayed on the display panel according to the guidance information and the displayed improvement confirmation screen, and the user experience is improved.
In another embodiment, the displayed screen may include the above-described improvement confirmation screen and a screen (hereinafter referred to as an "operation guidance screen") for guiding the user to perform the relevant operation, that is, the operation guidance screen displays information for guiding the user to perform the relevant operation, wherein the information for guiding the user to perform the relevant operation displayed on the operation guidance screen corresponds to information for guiding the user to perform the relevant operation if the quality of the print result is not improved, among the guidance information in example 1. For example, the information that guides the user to perform the relevant operation displayed on the operation guide screen may be information that guides the user to perform a cleaning operation on at least one component of the image forming apparatus. The following examples are given.
Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram of the operation guidance screen 500 of the present embodiment. Fig. 5 schematically shows an operation guide screen for guiding the user to perform the cleaning operation on one component a1 of the image forming apparatus, but the present embodiment is not limited to this, and the operation guide screen may include a screen for guiding the user to perform the cleaning operation on a plurality of components, for example, a plurality of screens for guiding the user to perform the cleaning operation on a plurality of components may be sequentially displayed, or one screen formed by combining such a plurality of screens.
Corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen 400 shown in fig. 4 and the operation guidance screen 500 shown in fig. 5, the guidance information may be, for example, the following information:
please confirm whether the quality of the print result is improved.
If so, please select "Yes" for the display panel display.
If not, please select "No" displayed on the display panel, and the relevant parts in the printer
Possibly contaminated, please clean the relevant parts after making the above selection and aim at the cleaning situation
Subsequent content displayed by the display panel is selected. "
When the user observes the guidance information, the related parts can be cleaned according to the guidance information, the displayed improvement confirmation screen, and the operation guidance screen (corresponding to the "follow-up content" described in the guidance information), and the user experience is improved.
Further, the guidance information may further include information prompting the user about the quality of the print result, which may be, for example, "the quality of the print result is improved to mean: no band-like, lump-like or linear contaminated areas nor stains appeared in the printed results ".
In this embodiment, after step 302, a step (not shown in fig. 3) may be further included: the method includes receiving an input from a user corresponding to the screen, and changing the guidance information based on the received input from the user.
In this way, the image forming apparatus can dynamically change the subsequent operation guided to the user in response to the input of the user to the displayed screen, thereby enhancing the interactivity between the image forming apparatus and the user and further improving the user experience.
Fig. 6 is another schematic diagram of the image forming method of the present embodiment. As shown in fig. 6, the method includes:
step 601, when test printing is carried out on the test printing data, the guide information for guiding the user to carry out the relevant action is printed on a medium together with the test printing data;
wherein, the step is the same as the step 301, which is not repeated herein;
step 602, displaying a picture, wherein the guide information corresponds to the picture;
the step is the same as step 302 and is not described herein again;
step 603, accepting user input corresponding to the screen; and
in step 604, guidance information is changed based on the input of the user received in step 603.
In this way, by changing the guidance information based on the received input of the user corresponding to the displayed screen, it is possible to dynamically change information for subsequent operations provided to the user in accordance with the input of the user with respect to the displayed screen, thereby enhancing the interactivity between the image forming apparatus and the user and further improving the user experience.
The above steps 603, 604 are optional steps.
In the present embodiment, when the screen corresponding to the guidance information displayed is the improvement confirmation screen, the user input corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen is accepted in step 603, and when the user input corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen indicates that the quality of the print result is not improved in step 604, the guidance information is changed.
In this case, whether or not the user's input corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen indicates that the quality of the print result is not improved may be determined based on the accepted user's input corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen. For example, in the case where the improvement confirmation screen is the improvement confirmation screen 400 shown in fig. 4, it is possible to determine whether or not the input indicates that the quality of the print result is not improved based on the input of the user corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen 400 received, that is, in the case where the input of the user corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen 400 received is "no", it is determined that the input of the user corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen indicates that the quality of the print result is not improved.
In this embodiment, when the screen corresponding to the guidance information to be displayed includes the improvement confirmation screen and the operation guidance screen, the user input corresponding to the screen received in step 603 includes the user input corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen and the user input corresponding to the operation guidance screen, and step 604 changes the guidance information based on both the inputs.
Although fig. 6 shows an implementation in which steps 601 to 604 are sequentially performed, the present embodiment is not limited thereto. For example, when a plurality of screens corresponding to guidance information are displayed, step 602 and step 603 may be repeatedly executed a plurality of times after step 601 and before step 604, and step 602 and step 603 may be executed once for each screen, for example, so that step 604 may change guidance information based on the input of the user received in step 603 executed each time. For another example, after step 604, execution may continue by returning to step 602.
In the case where the screen corresponding to the guidance information to be displayed includes the improvement confirmation screen and the operation guidance screen, for example, in the first execution of step 602, the improvement confirmation screen may be displayed, in the first execution of step 603, the input of the user corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen may be accepted, in the second execution of step 602, the operation guidance screen may be displayed, in the case where the quality of the input instruction print result corresponding to the improvement confirmation screen is not improved, and in the second execution of step 603, the input of the user corresponding to the operation guidance screen may be accepted.
Further, in this case, a screen (hereinafter referred to as an "operation completion confirmation screen") that guides the user to confirm whether or not the relevant operation has been completed may be further displayed on the display panel, that is, the screen displays information that guides the user to confirm whether or not the relevant operation has been completed in the case where the user performs the relevant operation, and for example, the information that guides the user to confirm whether or not the relevant operation has been completed in the case where the user performs the relevant operation may be information that guides the user to confirm whether or not cleaning of at least one component of the image forming apparatus has been completed in the case where the user performs the relevant operation. Fig. 7 is a schematic diagram of the operation completion confirmation screen of the present embodiment.
In this case, the above method may further comprise, after step 603, the step (not shown in fig. 6): displaying an operation completion confirmation screen in a case where an input corresponding to the operation guidance screen instructs a user to perform a related operation; accepting a user input corresponding to the operation completion confirmation screen; then, in step 604, when the user's input corresponding to the operation completion confirmation screen indicates that at least one component of the image forming apparatus has been cleaned, the guidance information is changed.
In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 6, the method may further include:
in step 605, the changed guide information is printed on a medium together with the test print data.
This can guide the user to perform further operations by the changed guidance information printed on the medium.
Fig. 8 is another schematic diagram of a print result on a medium after printing test print data. As shown in fig. 8, the medium 800 has the changed guide information 802 and the test print data 801 printed thereon. For example, the test print data 801 is constituted by color stripes of different colors. The problem related to the quality of the print result is not illustrated in the print result shown in fig. 8.
In the present embodiment, the guidance information after the change is also information for guiding the user to perform the relevant operation, but the guidance information after the change is information different from the guidance information before the change. For example, the guidance information after the change may be information for guiding the user to perform an operation different from the operation guided by the guidance information before the change.
Specifically, for example, an inquiry destination in the case where a problem related to the quality of a print result cannot be solved may be included. The query destination may include, for example, a contact phone, an email address, and/or a web address of a customer service center. In this way, when the user is already guided to the operation related to the quality of the print result by the guide information before the change, the user is guided to the inquiry destination in the case where the problem related to the quality of the print result cannot be solved by the guide information after the change, and even when the user has a problem in the quality of the print result after performing the operation according to the guide information before the change, the user can make an inquiry based on the information of the inquiry destination to solve the problem related to the quality of the print result. The following examples are given.
The changed guidance information may be, for example, the following information:
please confirm the result after reprinting.
If the problem is not improved, please send a mail to the customer consultation center or consult through telephone.
Email:***@oki.com
Telephone number: *** - ****".
When observing the information, the user can send the mail or make a call according to the information, and the user experience is improved.
Fig. 9 is another schematic diagram of the image forming method of the present embodiment. As shown in fig. 9, the method may include:
step 901, accepting an instruction for performing test printing on test printing data input by a user;
step 902, printing the guide information and the test printing data on a medium;
step 903, displaying an improvement confirmation picture and accepting corresponding user input;

step 905, displaying an operation guidance picture and accepting corresponding user input;
a step 906 of determining whether the user input accepted in the step 905 indicates that the user intends to perform a cleaning operation; if the user input determined to be accepted indicates that the user is to perform a cleaning operation, step 907 is executed, otherwise, the method is ended;
step 907, displaying an operation completion confirmation screen and accepting corresponding user input;
a step 908 of determining whether or not the user input accepted in the step 907 indicates that at least one component of the image forming apparatus has been cleaned; if it is determined that the accepted user input instruction has cleaned at least one component of the image forming apparatus, step 909 is executed, otherwise the method is ended;
step 909, change the guidance information;
step 910, the changed guide information and the test print data are printed on the medium together.
In the above method, step 903-910 may be omitted, or step 905-910 may be omitted.
In the present embodiment, in the case where the operation guide screen includes a plurality of screens that are sequentially displayed to guide the user to perform the cleaning operation on the plurality of components, respectively, the operation completion confirmation screen also includes a plurality of screens to guide the user to perform the cleaning operation on the plurality of components, respectively. FIG. 10 is a schematic diagram of an alternative implementation method of step 905 and 907 in FIG. 9 in this case. That is, all the steps shown in FIG. 10 can be used to replace the steps 905 and 907 in FIG. 9.
As shown in fig. 10, the implementation method may include:
