Description
本发明涉及液体人工洗碟洗涤剂组合物,包括烷基硫酸盐,烷基甜菜碱和烷基多聚糖苷。
液体洗涤剂一般由合成的阴离子表面活性剂和/或非离子表面活性剂与常规添加剂的水溶液组成。它们尤其被用于难以清洁的表面,例如玻璃、陶瓷材料、塑料、着色及磨光的表面。液体洗涤剂的一个重要应用在于手洗餐具和炊具,即洗盘子。洗盘子通常是用高度稀释的洗涤剂溶液在约35—45℃稍高的温度下进行。洗涤剂的清洁效力由使用者根据较长时间且更为丰富的洗涤泡沫来判别为优良。因为在人工洗碟子的过程中手和洗液之间有着长时间的接触,所以洗涤剂与皮肤间的相容性是另一个特别重要的因素。因此,在选择人工洗碟洗涤剂的成分时必须考虑皮肤的相容性问题。
已经知道,甜菜碱是泡沫辅助剂,能增强各类洗涤剂组合物的成泡特性。例如,EP453,238A教导了一种温和洗发剂组合物,包括(a)阴离子表面活性剂如十二烷基硫酸钠,(b)两性表面活性剂如十二烷基二甲基甜菜碱和(c)苷性非离子表面活性剂如C10-12烷基苷,其中a、b、c三者的重量比为0.9—2.2∶0.5—1.0∶0.9—2.0。EP341071A2教导了一种用作人工洗碗洗涤剂的水性组合物,包括C8-18烷基苷表面活性剂(具有1—3一般程度的聚合),阴离子活性,表面活性甜菜碱和/或氧化胺,以及可供选择的醇酰胺,其中阴离子的量不超过甜菜碱和/或氧化胺水平的1.5倍(摩尔量)。
已经发现含有甜菜碱的各种表面活性剂组合物是优良的手工洗碗洗涤剂,在室验室评估方面至少与市场上现有最好的商品化手工洗碟洗涤剂一样好。这些由甜菜碱和一些阴离子表面活性剂和/或非离子表面活性剂组成的组合物在保持去污力和抵抗通常见于脏盘子上的污物的消泡作用方面显示出了出人意料的特性。这类组合物之一含有烷基硫酸盐和甜菜碱。另一种这类组合物包括α—烯烃磺酸盐和甜菜碱,而还有一种组合物则含有烷基硫酸盐、α—烯烃磺酸盐和甜菜碱。另一类显示出良好硬水耐受性并对皮肤很温和的上等手工洗碟洗涤剂包括烷基硫酸盐、甜菜碱和烷基多聚糖苷或α—烯烃磺酸盐、甜菜碱及烷基多聚糖苷。在保持起泡和去污特性方面特别有效的组合物含有约16—18%(重量)十二烷基硫酸钠、2—4%(重量)可可甜菜碱和约8—10%(重量)GlucoponR600。
除非在操作实施例中或其它指明之处,本文用于表示成分或反应条件量的所有数目都将理解成在所有情况下均由术语“大约”修饰。
申请人已做出了令人意外的发现,在设计来评估人工洗碟配方的相对表现的实验室试验中显示出优良起泡及去污特性的洗涤剂配方有下列组合物(A)—(E):
(A)组合物含有相等重量份数的通式I化合物和通式III化合物:
R1—O—SO3M (I)其中R1为含C10-18的烷基基团,M为碱金属阳离子、碱土金属阳离子或铵离子;其中R3是含C10-18的烷基或链烯基基团,R4和R5分别是含C1-4的烷基基团、2—羟乙基基团或2—羟丙基基团;
(B)组合物含有相等重量份数的通式II化合物和通式III化合物: R2—SO3M (II)其中R2是含C10-18的烷基基团,M是碱金属阳离子、碱土金属阳离子或铵离子;其中R3是含C10-18的烷基或链烯基基团,R4和R5分别为含C1-4的烷基基团、2—羟乙基基团或2—羟丙基基团;
(C)组合物含有约16—18%(重量)通式I化合物、约2—4%(重量)通式III化合物和约8—10%(重量)通式IV化合物:

用于本发明组合物中的烷基硫酸盐是通式I的化合物
R1—O—SO3M (I)其中R1为含C10-18的烷基基团,M为碱金属或碱土金属阳离子。最优选的烷基硫酸盐是十二烷基硫酸钠。用于本发明组合物中的α—烯烃磺酸盐是通式II的化合物:
R2—SO3M (II)其中R2为含C10-18的烷基基团,M为碱金属或碱土金属阳离子。最优选的α—烯烃磺酸盐是有C14-16链烯基的那些化合物,如BIO—TERGE AS—40(Stepan Co.)。在本发明组合物中最有用的甜菜碱是通式III的化合物:其中R3为含C10-18的烷基或链烯基基团,R4和R5分别为含C1-4的烷基、2—羟乙基或2—羟丙基基团。最优选的甜菜碱是可可甜菜碱,它是其中R3基团的大部分为C12或十二基且R4、R5分别对甲基的通式III化合物的混合物。可可甜菜碱以VELVETEXR AB—45(Henkel Corporation,Ambler,PA.,19002)商售。用于本发明组合物中的烷基多聚糖苷是通式IV的化合物:
RO(G)n (IV)其中R为含约C1-30的单价有机基,G表示来自含C5或C6的还原糖类的部分,n为具有1至约6的均值的数目。优选的烷基多聚糖苷为APGR、GlucoponR和PlantarenR表面活性剂(Henkel Corporation,Ambler,PA.,19002)。
APGR、PlantarenR和/或GlucoponR表面活性剂的例子包括但不限于:
1.GlucoponR 225—一种含有C8-10烷基的烷基多聚糖苷。
2.APGR325—一种含C9-11烷基的烷基多聚糖苷。
3.GlucoptonR 625—一种含C12-16烷基的烷基多聚糖苷。
4.APGR300—一种基本上与上述325产品相同但平均聚合度不同的烷基多聚糖苷。
5.GlucoponR 600—一种基本上与上述625产品相同但平均聚合度不同的烷基多聚糖苷。
6.PlantarenR2000—一种C8-16烷基多聚糖苷。
7.PlantarenR1300—一种C12-16烷基多聚糖苷。
8.PlantarenR1200—一种C12-16烷基多聚糖苷。其它的例子包括由通式IV化合物的混合物组成的烷基多聚糖苷表面活性剂组合物,其中G为来自含C5或C6还原糖类的部分,n为1.0—3的数,R为含C8-20的烷基基团,该组合物的特征在于它具有增强的表面活性剂特性和约10—16的HLB及糖苷的非Flory分布,由烷基单糖苷的混合物与在渐减量中具有2和更高可变聚合度的烷基多聚糖苷的混合物组成,其中聚合度为2的多聚糖苷或其与聚合度为3的多聚糖苷的混合物的重量相对于单糖苷的量而言占优势,所说组合物的平均聚合度约为1.8—3。这类组合物可以通过在去除醇后从烷基单糖苷与烷基多聚糖苷的起始反应混合物中分离单糖苷制得。该分离过程可采用分子蒸馏法,通常能除去约70—95%(重量)的烷基单糖苷。去除烷基单糖苷之后,所得产物中单糖苷和聚糖苷各成分的相对分布改变了,聚糖苷的浓度相对于单糖苷的增加了,各个聚糖苷的浓度相对于总的也增加了,即DP2和DP3馏分的浓度相对于所有DP馏分总和的增加了。这类组合物公开于91年12月19日申请的、系列申请号为07/810,588的未决申请中,该文全文引入本文作为参考。
已经发现本发明的洗涤剂组合物在人工洗碟评估试验(下文缩写为HDET)中有出人意料的极佳表现。HDET通过测量用于从洗碟洗涤剂水溶液中消除泡沫的污物的量来检测人工洗碟洗涤剂抵抗合成污物消泡作用的能力。试验所得数目越大,用于消除泡沫的污物量越大。因此,从优等效力的洗碟洗涤液中消除泡沫比从次等洗碟洗涤剂中要用更多的污物。HDET方案在实施例1中提出。
已发现当三烷基甜菜碱与烷基硫酸盐,烷基磺酸盐和/或烷基多聚糖苷混合时存在对表面活性剂抵抗合成污物消泡作用能力的协同作用。本发明的洗涤剂组合含有可以是一种或多种阴离子和/或非离子表面活性剂的表面活性剂和甜菜碱,且表面活性剂与甜菜碱的重量比为约1/10—10/1,优选的重量比为约1/1。对于重量比为约1/1的组合物观察到了最大的协同作用。表1中的数据表明阳离子表面活性剂与可可甜菜碱的协同作用。例如,从含有十二烷基硫酸钠的洗液中消泡需要6.0g污物,从含有可可甜菜碱的洗液中消泡需要6.0g污物。不存在意外结果,本领域技术人员将会预料从含有SLS和可可甜菜碱的洗液中消泡所需的污物重量为各成分的加权平均值。在SLS与可可甜菜碱的重量相等的上述例子中,从洗液中消泡所需污物的平均量为6.0。然而,经实验观测到的值为14.25,比6.0的预值高出137%,这表明在SLS与可可甜菜碱之间存在协同作用。列于表1中的表面活性剂与可可甜菜碱的其它组合也显示出了协同作用。用SLS与可可甜菜碱观察到了最好的效果,它也显示出比主导的商售家用人工洗碟洗涤剂DawnTM(Proctor andGamble Company,Cincinnati,OH.)更好的性能。
本发明显示出良好硬水耐受性并对皮肤非常温和的组合物除了将甜菜碱与阴离子表面活性剂联合使用外还含有烷基多聚糖苷。优选的实施方案是30%活性的水性组合物,含有大约55—60%(重量)SLS(28%活性)、约25—30%(重量)GlucoponR600(50%活性)和约10—15%(重量)可可甜菜碱(35%活性)。下面的实施例意在说明而非限制本发明。
实施例1人工清洗评估试验(HDET)
本试验检测被测表面活性剂抵抗合成污物消泡作用的能力。所污物含37.5%(重量)CriscoTM Shortening、12.5%(重量)鸡蛋粉和50%(重量)150ppm硬水。CriscoTM和鸡蛋粉在称量放入混合钵中后被预先混合,然后加入水,在用低速混匀的同时将钵中内容物加热至104°F。混合过程持续进行直到混合物达到均匀的奶油般稠度。用喷水器将1.08g污物加至1′×15″适中重量的毛巾布小块布样上制得污物布样。向Tergotometer(U.S.Testing Co.)大桶中放入345ml蒸馏水和30ml 2000ppm浓缩的硬水。所得溶液的硬度计作150ppmCaCO3。Tergotometer浴加热至110°F,并用手动曲柄将搅动速度调至75rpm。大约25ml 4%(重量)待测表面活性剂溶液加至Tergotometer桶中,搅动105秒,然后关掉搅拌器。一块污物处理过的布样放入Tergotometer桶中15秒钟。每搅拌45秒钟加入一块布样直至表面泡沫消失。每个45秒钟分成10秒间隔,每个10秒间隔代表0.25块布样。结果是2批消散泡沫所需污物克数的均值。0.25g的差异被认为是显著的。实施例2
