In recent years, with the industrial development and the atmospheric environment deterioration, long-time and large-scale haze often appears, power transmission line pollution flashover tripping often occurs in power grids all over the country, and especially the power transmission line pollution flashover tripping of a 220kV-1000kV main power grid seriously affects the safe and stable operation of a power system.

Especially, long-distance transmission lines pass through dirty areas of different grades, insulator strings of the long-distance transmission lines are very easy to generate pollution flashover, once the pollution flashover seriously affects the safe operation of a power system, and large-area power failure is often caused. Therefore, the development of cleaning the insulator string of the power transmission line in an electrified way and preventing the insulator of the power transmission line from generating pollution flashover become a great problem which needs to be solved urgently for ensuring the safety production of the power system.
At present, the cleaning mode for the insulator is artificial, the cleaning mode is mainly cleaned by using cleaning cloth, the speed is low, particularly, for an inner umbrella skirt in a glass insulator umbrella skirt, the cleaning of the insulator is relatively difficult, at present, no good equipment is provided for rapidly and effectively cleaning the inner umbrella skirt, the cleaning of an insulator string by using the existing cleaning mechanism is relatively single, the functions of changing the cleaning angle and the cleaning position are not provided, the cleaning of the insulator and the inner umbrella skirt is not thorough, and therefore a cleaning device capable of adjusting the cleaning position is urgently needed to improve the cleaning capacity.
