Abstract
The invention discloses a multiplexing power supply module which comprises a supporting frame, a power supply clamp, a golden finger and a power supply control board, wherein the power supply clamp is arranged at one end of the supporting frame and used for being connected with a power supply row arranged on a cabinet body to obtain power, the golden finger is arranged at the other end of the supporting frame and used for being in signal connection with a CRPS power supply connector on a mainboard to transmit power, and the power supply control board is arranged on the supporting frame, is in signal connection with the power supply clamp and the golden finger and is used for enabling the golden finger to output a control signal which is the same as that of a CRPS power supply to the mainboard. Therefore, the mainboard in each layer of sub-node servers in the whole cabinet server is kept in the same power supply mode as the single-node server through the power supply control board, and the whole cabinet server and the single-node server can share the mainboard and the mainboard management software, so that the construction cost of the whole cabinet server can be greatly reduced. The invention also discloses a whole cabinet server, which has the beneficial effects as described above.

Technical Field

Background
The demand of the internet industry for servers is increasing day by day, and more customers can consider building own complete cabinet servers. The whole cabinet server integrates a plurality of single-node servers, the switch, the heat dissipation system and the power supply system, and the use and management of the traditional plurality of single-node servers are optimized and upgraded.
Compared with a single-node server, the whole cabinet server has the following advantages: firstly, the whole cabinet server can improve the space utilization rate of the server room. Due to the power supply system of the nodes in the whole cabinet, the heat dissipation system realizes unified management and saves a large amount of machine room space. And secondly, the whole cabinet server improves the power efficiency. The centralized management module of the whole cabinet can be used for centrally adjusting the load rate of the power supply module so as to deal with different calculation scenes. And thirdly, the power consumption of the whole cabinet server can be reduced. The centralized management module of the whole cabinet can be used for centrally adjusting the power consumption of the heat dissipation system so as to deal with different working scenes. Fourthly, the whole cabinet server improves the simplicity and convenience of delivery. Because most of the whole cabinet assembly can be realized in a factory, the workload of re-assembly to the server room is greatly reduced, and the delivery of the whole cabinet becomes more concise.
At present, more internet companies have the use requirements of a single-node server and a whole cabinet server at the same time, but the power supply module of the single-node server and the power supply module of the whole cabinet server have great difference. The same server mainboard needs to support single-node power supply and whole cabinet power supply at the same time, so that two sets of different power supply modules need to be designed facing the single-node server and the whole cabinet server to meet the power supply of the same mainboard in different server cabinets.
The power supply of the single-node server generally uses a CRPS power supply, the input of a CRPS power supply module is 220V alternating current, the output of the CRPS power supply module is a golden finger, the golden finger is connected with a CRPS power supply connector on the mainboard, and a 12V DC power supply and a logic signal of CRPS are output to the mainboard. The power supply input of the whole cabinet server is a power supply copper bar which is taken from the rear end of the whole cabinet, generally is a 48V DC power supply or a 12V DC power supply, the Clip power supply Clip is inserted on the power supply copper bar to get power, and the Clip power supply Clip is connected with a power panel through a cable or riveted on a connector. However, because the power supply unit of the single-node server is different from the power supply unit of the complete cabinet server in structural model, when the complete cabinet server is built, each layer of sub-node servers of the complete cabinet server cannot share the same specification of mainboard with the single-node server, or two sets of different specifications of mainboards must be used, which inevitably leads to the increase of the building cost. Meanwhile, the output logic signals of the power supply unit of the whole cabinet server are not matched with the output logic signals of the power supply unit of the single-node server, so that the sub-node servers of all layers of the whole cabinet server cannot share the same set of mainboard management software with the single-node server.
Therefore, how to solve the problem that the single-node server and the whole cabinet server cannot share the main board and the main board management software due to different power supply unit structures is a technical problem faced by technical personnel in the field.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a multiplexing power supply module which can solve the problem that a single-node server and a whole cabinet server cannot share a mainboard and mainboard management software due to different power supply unit structures, and reduce the construction cost. The invention also aims to provide the whole cabinet server.
In order to solve the above technical problems, the present invention provides a multiplexing power supply module, which includes a supporting frame, a power supply clip disposed at one end of the supporting frame and used for connecting with a power supply bar disposed on a cabinet body to obtain power, a golden finger disposed at the other end of the supporting frame and used for signal connection with a CRPS power connector on a motherboard to transmit power, and a power control board disposed on the supporting frame and connected with the power supply clip and the golden finger in signal connection for enabling the golden finger to output a control signal to the motherboard, the control signal being the same as that of the CRPS power.
Preferably, the power supply device further comprises a power supply cable arranged in the support frame and connected between the power supply clamp and the power supply control board.
Preferably, the end of the power supply cable is detachably attached to the surface of the power control board by a plurality of fasteners.
Preferably, the support frame is a rectangular frame, and the outer dimension of the support frame is the same as that of the CRPS power supply.
Preferably, the power supply clip is detachably connected to the front end face of the support frame by a plurality of fasteners; the golden finger is detachably connected to the end face of the rear end of the supporting frame through a plurality of fasteners.

The power supply clamp 2 is arranged at one end of the supporting frame 1 and is mainly used for connecting with a power supply row arranged on the cabinet body, so that power is taken from the power supply row. The golden finger 3 is arranged at the other end of the support frame 1 and is mainly used for being connected with a reserved CRPS power connector on the mainboard in a plugging and matching mode to form signal connection, so that power transmission is carried out on the mainboard.
The power control board 4 is arranged on the supporting frame 1 and is connected with the power supply clamp 2 and the golden finger 3 through signals, and the power control board is mainly used for controlling output signals of the golden finger 3, so that control signals output by the golden finger are the same as control signals output by a CRPS power supply to the mainboard in the prior art, and therefore the mainboard in each layer of sub-node servers in the built complete cabinet server is kept in the same power supply mode as the single-node server, and the complete cabinet server can share the mainboard and the mainboard management software with the single-node server.
Compared with the prior art, the multiplexing power module provided by the embodiment does not need to additionally modify or replace a mainboard power receiving structure and mainboard management software, so that the construction cost of the whole cabinet server can be greatly reduced, and the server room can conveniently use the single-node server and the whole cabinet server at the same time.
In a preferred embodiment of the supporting frame 1, in order to facilitate the installation of the multiplexing-type power module in the cabinet, in this embodiment, the supporting frame 1 is specifically a rectangular frame, and in order to avoid extra occupied space and facilitate the common use of the server chassis on the single-node server and the complete cabinet server, the external dimensions of the supporting frame 1 are the same as those of the prior art CRPS power supply (there are multiple standard specifications). By the arrangement, when the multiplexing power supply module is installed on the whole cabinet server, the installation mode of the multiplexing power supply module is the same as that of the CRPS power supply on the single-node server. Of course, if necessary, the volume of the supporting frame 1 can be reduced or the shape thereof can be modified appropriately on the basis of ensuring that the size structure of the gold finger 3 is kept to be matched with the CRPS power supply.
Further, in order to optimize the distribution form of each component on the supporting frame 1, in this embodiment, the power supply clip 2 is specifically disposed on the front end face (or the rear end face) of the supporting frame 1, and correspondingly, the golden finger 3 is specifically disposed on the rear end face (or the front end face) of the supporting frame 1, and the two ends are respectively disposed at two ends of the supporting frame 1 in the length direction, so as to connect with the power supply row on the cabinet body by using the power supply clip 2 and connect with the CRPS connector on each layer of the sub-node server motherboard by using the golden finger 3.

A multiplexing power supply module is characterized by comprising a supporting frame (1), a power supply clamp (2) arranged at one end of the supporting frame (1) and used for being connected with a power supply row arranged on a cabinet body to obtain power, a golden finger (3) arranged at the other end of the supporting frame (1) and used for being in signal connection with a CRPS power connector on a mainboard to transmit power, and a power supply control board (4) arranged on the supporting frame (1), in signal connection with the power supply clamp (2) and the golden finger (3) and used for enabling the golden finger (3) to output a control signal which is the same as that of a CRPS power supply to the mainboard;
the power supply control board (4) is a power supply protection chip which is used for enabling the golden finger (3) to output an on-position signal and an address signal to the mainboard and enabling the mainboard to distinguish CRPS power supply and whole cabinet power supply;
the power supply control board (4) sets an address PIN different from that of the CRPS power supply through high-level pull-up and grounding pull-down to enable the main board to distinguish whether the current power supply mode is CRPS power supply or whole cabinet power supply.
2. The multiplexing-type power supply module according to claim 1, further comprising a power supply cable (5) disposed within the support frame (1) and connected between the power supply clip (2) and the power supply control board (4).
3. The multiplexing-type power supply module according to claim 2, wherein the end of the power supply cable (5) is detachably attached to the surface of the power supply control board (4) by a plurality of fasteners.
4. The multiplexing-type power supply module according to claim 1, wherein the support frame (1) is embodied as a rectangular frame and has the same outer dimensions as the CRPS power supply.

The multiplexing-type power supply module according to claim 4, wherein the power supply clip (2) is detachably attached to the front end surface of the support frame (1) by a plurality of fasteners; the golden finger (3) is detachably connected to the end face of the rear end of the supporting frame (1) through a plurality of fasteners.
