Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to an automobile safety component, in particular to a rear seat for avoiding injury to a head and neck caused by rear collision.
Background
The headrest is used for relieving neck fatigue of drivers and passengers during travel, and the adjustable and detachable headrest is provided for some vehicle types.
The process of whiplash injury is that when the automobile is impacted from the back, the following typical first step of action can be rapidly and continuously carried out on passengers in the automobile, because the backrest moves forwards relative to the back of the human body, the arched spine in a normal state is pushed straight by the forward thrust from the backrest, and the bent and straight spine drives the head of the human body to vertically lift; secondly, when the seat pushes the torso of the occupant forward, the unrestrained head tends to fall down behind under inertia, which causes the neck to change shape, assume an S-shape for the first time and bend back. And thirdly, the trunk is bound by a safety belt, the head driven by the neck swings forwards after colliding with the headrest, the head and the neck move like the swinging of a whip, and the neck is severely changed to cause the damage to the neck and soft tissues thereof, namely the whiplash injury.
Neck injuries resulting from a rear-end collision accident are commonly referred to as Whiplash injuries (Whiplash) or injuries associated with Whiplash movements. Various automobile collision forms can cause whiplash injury, and the tail collision is easier to cause neck injury of passengers. According to the analysis of a German rear-end collision database, the low-speed rear-end collision with the vehicle speed change between 10km/h and 20km/h before and after the collision is most likely to cause neck whiplash injury. When the automobile is subjected to rear-end collision, the automobile body generates forward acceleration, the seat back generates acting force on the trunk of a passenger to enable the passenger to move obliquely upwards, and the head of the passenger is not in contact with the seat, so that the passenger temporarily does not receive the forward acting force applied by the restraint system and can move backwards relative to the trunk until the neck of the passenger reaches the movement limit when the head of the passenger is in contact with the headrest. The movement of the head and neck is similar to the whiplash action, and the resulting injury is called whiplash injury. Subsequently, the head bounces, moving forward relative to the torso. Many rear-end collisions are relatively slow in collision speed and relatively low in strength, do not cause the vehicle body to be damaged to a great extent, and are easily misunderstood that passengers do not have much serious injury, and actually a low-speed rear-end collision very easily causes serious passenger neck injury, wherein most of the serious passenger neck injury is whiplash injury.
The design height of the second row seat headrest of the current mainstream passenger vehicle is lower than that of the front row headrest; meanwhile, in order to not block the rear view, a driver usually places the rear headrest at the lowest position, and if a rear collision occurs, the head of a rear passenger is lack of support, so that serious injury can be caused.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a whiplash preventing mechanism which is used for preventing a back collision from injuring the head and the neck, has sensitive action and can effectively prevent a passenger from being stricken by whiplash, and solves the problems of insensitive action and poor protection effect of the existing whiplash preventing device.
