In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present application, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
It should be noted that the terminal according to the embodiment of the present invention may include, but is not limited to, a mobile phone, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a wireless handheld device, a Tablet Computer (Tablet Computer), a Personal Computer (PC), an MP3 player, an MP4 player, a wearable device (e.g., smart glasses, smart watch, smart bracelet, etc.), and the like.
In addition, the term "and/or" in the embodiment of the present application is only one kind of association relationship describing an associated object, and means that three kinds of relationships may exist, for example, a and/or B may mean: a exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, and B exists alone. In addition, the character "/" in the embodiment of the present application generally indicates that the preceding and following related objects are in an "or" relationship.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a processing method for a promotional video according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 1.
101. And acquiring the popularization video requested by the popularization video request at least twice.
102. And inserting the promotion video into the information stream of the first on-air video according to the currently played first on-air video and the content video request corresponding to the first on-air video.
103. And outputting the information stream.
In the application, the application may output the content video and the promotion video required by the user in an information flow manner, for example, 5 content videos and one promotion video may be requested simultaneously in each task request, and after the acquisition is successful, one promotion video may be output every 5 content videos.
The presentation form of the promotion video may be various, and may refer to an immersive promotion video, or may also be a promotion video in another form, which is not particularly limited in this embodiment.
It should be noted that part or all of the execution subjects 101 to 103 may be an application located in the terminal, or may also be a functional unit such as a plug-in or Software Development Kit (SDK) set in the application located in the terminal, or may also be a processing engine located in a network side server, which is not particularly limited in this embodiment.
It is to be understood that the application may be a native app (native app) installed on the terminal, or may also be a web page program (webApp) of a browser on the terminal, which is not limited in this embodiment.
Therefore, the popularization video requested by the popularization video request at least twice is obtained, the popularization video is inserted into the information stream of the first on-air video according to the first on-air video played currently and the content video request corresponding to the first on-air video, the information stream inserted with the popularization video can be output, the popularization video is successfully obtained through multiple requests, the popularization video can be inserted into the information stream in time, and the recall rate and the exposure rate of the popularization video are improved.
In some cases, the promotional video may not be successfully acquired in one request task, so that only the content video, but not the promotional video, may be available for part of the time of the output information stream. Then, a reduction in recall and exposure of the promotional video results.
In this application, in one request task, if the content video acquisition fails, that is, if none of the content videos is successfully acquired, the content video acquisition may be requested again within a threshold time, for example, an immediate request or a delayed request may be requested until any one of the content videos is successfully acquired.
The successful acquisition of the content video in the application means that the video data of the content video is acquired and can be normally played after being successfully analyzed; accordingly, the video data of the content video is not acquired, or the video data of the content video is acquired but the parsing is not successful, and the acquisition of the content video fails.
In the application, after the acquisition of the promoted video requested by the first promoted video request fails, the request is not directly abandoned, and the promoted video is requested again by further multiple requests, for example, a second promoted video request, even a third promoted video request, and the like.
In particular, a threshold number of re-requests may be set, beyond which re-requests are not made. Therefore, the success rate of acquiring the promotion video can be effectively improved by controlling the number of times of the video promotion request within the limited number of times of the video promotion request, such as 2 times.
Optionally, in a possible implementation manner of this embodiment, in 101, it may be specifically determined that the popularization video requested by the first popularization video request fails to be acquired, and then, the popularization video may be requested again by further requesting the popularization video for the second time through the second popularization video request. In general, at this time, the promotional video requested by the second promotional video request may be successfully obtained.
The successful acquisition of the promotion video in the application means that the video data of the promotion video is acquired and can be normally played after being successfully analyzed; accordingly, the video data of the popularization video is not acquired, or the video data of the popularization video is acquired but is not successfully analyzed, and therefore the acquisition of the popularization video fails.
In a specific implementation process, after it is determined that the promotional video requested by the first promotional video request fails to be obtained, the promotional video may be requested again by the second promotional video request. Therefore, the promotion video can be rapidly requested again, so that the promotion video requested by the second promotion video request can be obtained successfully in time.
In another specific implementation process, after determining that the acquisition of the promoted video requested by the first promoted video request fails, the second promoted video request may be delayed to request the promoted video again. In this way, the video promotion request can be suspended again, so that the video promotion requested by the second video promotion request can be successfully acquired in a network environment with better quality.
Optionally, in a possible implementation manner of this embodiment, in 102, a request relationship between the first on-air video and the promotional video may be specifically determined according to a content video request corresponding to the first on-air video and a promotional video request corresponding to the promotional video, and then the promotional video may be inserted into an information stream where the first on-air video is located according to the request relationship between the first on-air video and the promotional video.
In this embodiment, it may be specifically determined whether the content video request corresponding to the first on-air video and the popularization video request corresponding to the popularization video belong to the same request task according to the content video request corresponding to the first on-air video and the popularization video request corresponding to the popularization video, so that a request relationship between the first on-air video and the popularization video may be determined.
By the above judgment, if the content video request corresponding to the first on-air video and the promotion video request corresponding to the promotion video belong to the same request task, it can be determined that the request relationship between the first on-air video and the promotion video is the same request task; if the content video request corresponding to the first on-air video and the promotion video request corresponding to the promotion video do not belong to the same request task but belong to different request tasks, it may be determined that the request relationship between the first on-air video and the promotion video is that the request tasks belong to different request tasks.
In a specific implementation process, if the request relationship between the first on-air video and the promotion video is that the first on-air video and the promotion video belong to the same request task, the promotion video may be inserted into the information stream corresponding to the same request task according to the position of the first on-air video in the information stream corresponding to the same request task.
Specifically, a location threshold N may be preset according to a planned delivery location of the promotion device, for example, N is 3, and then, if the request relationship between the first on-air video and the promotion video is that the first on-air video and the promotion video belong to the same request task, it may be further determined whether the location of the first on-air video in the information stream corresponding to the same request task is smaller than the set location threshold N. Furthermore, different insertion strategies can be adopted according to the judgment result, the promotion video is inserted into the information stream corresponding to the same request task, the promotion video can be inserted into the information stream in time, and the exposure rate of the promotion video can be effectively improved.
For example, assuming that a first video in the information stream corresponding to the same request task is a first bit, if the position of the first on-air video in the information stream corresponding to the same request task is smaller than the set position threshold N, the popularization video may be inserted into an nth bit in the information stream corresponding to the same request task.
Or, for another example, assuming that a first video in the information stream corresponding to the same request task is a first video, if the position of the first on-air video in the information stream corresponding to the same request task is greater than or equal to the set position threshold N, the promotional video may be inserted into a position after the first on-air video in the information stream corresponding to the same request task (that is, an interval between the promotional video and the first on-air video is 0 videos).
In another specific implementation process, if the request relationship between the first on-air video and the promotion video is that the request tasks belong to different times, the promotion video may be inserted into an information stream corresponding to the request task to which the first on-air video belongs according to the video content of the first on-air video.
Specifically, it may be specifically determined whether the first on-air video is a promotional video, that is, a promotional video in an information stream corresponding to a request task to which the first on-air video belongs, according to the first on-air video, for example, a video type or video content of the first on-air video. Furthermore, different insertion strategies can be adopted according to the judgment result, and the promotion video is inserted into the information stream corresponding to the request task to which the first on-air video belongs, so that the promotion videos can be guaranteed not to be played together, and the exposure rate of the promotion videos can be effectively improved.
For example, if the first on-air video is a promotional video, the promotional video may be inserted into a position of the information stream corresponding to the request task to which the first on-air video belongs, where the first on-air video is separated by one video content (that is, the separation from the first on-air video is 1 video). Therefore, the popularization videos can be guaranteed not to be played together, and the exposure rate of the popularization videos can be effectively improved.
Or, for another example, if the first on-air video is not the promotional video, further determining whether the video subsequent to the first on-air video is the promotional video. If the video after the first on-air video is the promotional video, the promotional video may be inserted into a position of the information stream corresponding to the request task to which the first on-air video belongs, where two video contents are separated after the first on-air video (that is, the separation between the two video contents and the first on-air video is 2 videos). Therefore, the popularization videos can be guaranteed not to be played together, and the exposure rate of the popularization videos can be effectively improved.
If the video after the first on-air video is not the promotion video, the promotion video may be inserted into a position after the first on-air video in the information stream corresponding to the request task to which the first on-air video belongs (that is, an interval between the promotion video and the first on-air video is 0 videos). Therefore, the popularization videos can be guaranteed not to be played together, and the exposure rate of the popularization videos can be effectively improved.
In the application, under the condition that the content video is successfully acquired, if the requested popularization video can be successfully acquired through the first popularization video request, then, in order to further ensure that the content video and the popularization video can be normally played, the request for the floating information can be delayed, and therefore the click rate of the floating information can be further ensured.
The floating information is a form of popularization information, and refers to popularization of multimedia forms such as characters and pictures floating on a content video.
Optionally, in a possible implementation manner of this embodiment, the promotional video requested by the first promotional video request may be further successfully acquired, and then, the floating information may be acquired according to the currently played second on-air video. The hover information may then be output on the second on-air video or a video next to the second on-air video.
In a specific implementation process, the buffer data size of the second on-air video may be specifically obtained, and further, the floating information may be obtained according to the buffer data size of the second on-air video.
Specifically, a buffering threshold may be preset, and then, it may be determined whether the amount of buffered data of the second on-air video is greater than or equal to the preset buffering threshold. Further, the floating information may be acquired according to the above determination.
For example, if the amount of buffered data of the second on-air video is greater than or equal to a preset buffer threshold, which indicates that the second on-air video can normally start playing and buffer enough content, the floating information may be requested and obtained.
Or, for another example, if the amount of buffered data of the second on-air video is smaller than a preset buffer threshold, which indicates that the second on-air video has already started playing normally but is not buffered enough content, the operation of requesting to acquire the floating information is not performed.
Or, for another example, if there is no second video currently being played, which indicates that no video is normally played, the operation of requesting to acquire the floating information is not performed.
In another specific implementation process, after the floating information is obtained, it may be determined whether the second on-air video is the promotional video. And outputting the floating information on the second on-air video or the next video of the second on-air video by adopting different output strategies according to the judgment.
For example, if the second on-air video is the promotional video, the hover information may be output on a video next to the second on-air video.
Or, for another example, if the second on-air video is not the promotional video and the remaining playing time of the second on-air video is greater than or equal to the playing threshold, the floating information may be output on the second on-air video.
Therefore, by delaying the request for the floating information, the video can be played normally, and the click rate of the floating information is ensured.
The specific implementation of the present embodiment will be further described in detail through specific application scenarios, as shown in fig. 2.

219. And judging whether the remaining playing time of the current video in playing is larger than or equal to a playing threshold value. If the value is greater than or equal to the playing threshold value, executing 220; if less than the play threshold, execution 218 is performed.
220. On the current on-air video, the floating information is output.
At this moment, in an information flow mode, timely insertion of the promotion video and effective output of the floating information are successfully achieved.
In this embodiment, the popularization video requested by the popularization video request is acquired at least twice, and then the popularization video is inserted into the information stream of the first on-air video according to the first on-air video currently played and the content video request corresponding to the first on-air video, so that the information stream into which the popularization video is inserted can be output.
In addition, by adopting the technical scheme provided by the application, after the acquisition of the promotion video requested by the first promotion video request fails, the promotion video can be requested again by further promoting the video request for the second time, the success rate of acquiring the promotion video can be improved, and the recall rate and the exposure rate of the promotion video are further improved.
In addition, by adopting the technical scheme provided by the application, the request relationship between the first on-air video and the promotion video is determined according to the content video request corresponding to the first on-air video and the promotion video request corresponding to the promotion video, such that in accordance with the first on-air video and the requested relationship between the first on-air video and the promotional video, the promotion video is inserted into the information stream of the first on-air video, and whether the promotion video and the first on-air video belong to the same request task is considered, so that different insertion strategies can be adopted according to the request relationship between the first broadcast video and the second broadcast video to realize the insertion of the promotion video into the information stream of the first broadcast video, therefore, the flexibility of the promoted video processing is improved, and the click rate of the promoted video can be further improved.
