Abstract
The invention relates to a multipurpose biological safety disinfectant. The disinfectant contains acidic electrolyzed water, polyvinylpyrrolidone and modified chitosan. The hypochlorous acid in the acidic electrolyzed water has high molecular content, has the functions of sterilization and disinfection, and has high-efficiency broad-spectrum antibiosis. The polyvinylpyrrolidone is used as a stabilizer, so that the stability of the disinfectant can be improved, and the effective period of the disinfectant is prolonged to 18 months. The modified chitosan can form a water-based film on the surface of an object as an antibacterial agent, so that the antibacterial time of the disinfectant is prolonged. The biological safety disinfectant is slightly acidic and can be used for surface disinfection, and degradation products are safe and nontoxic.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of disinfectant manufacturing, and particularly relates to a multipurpose biological safety disinfectant.
Background
The inorganic chlorine disinfectant is a disinfection product widely used in public places and medical health institutions at present due to high efficiency, wide sterilization range and relative safety in killing microorganisms (particularly viruses), but has the characteristics of poor stability, short effective period, skin corrosion, great harm of residual chlorine to human bodies and the like, so that the application range of the inorganic chlorine disinfectant is limited. Therefore, the traditional disinfectant can kill environmental microorganisms and also has adverse effects on human bodies, and the safety is difficult to guarantee.
The electrolyzed water is a disinfection solution having a function of killing microorganisms by electrolyzing a low-concentration electrolyte solution, such as a sodium chloride solution, a dilute hydrochloric acid solution or a mixed solution of the two, in an electrolytic bath to change the pH, the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), the Available Chlorine Concentration (ACC), the active oxygen and the like of the solution. Generally, the electrolytic water is divided into four types, namely strongly acidic electrolytic water (pH 2.2-2.7), weakly acidic electrolytic water (pH 2.7-5.0), slightly acidic electrolytic water (pH 5.0-6.5) and alkaline electrolytic water (pH 7.0-11.5). Wherein the hypochlorous acid in the acidic electrolyzed water has high molecular content and strong oxidability, and the final product of the disinfection is water. Compared with other disinfectants, the disinfectant has the advantages of instantaneous and high-efficiency sterilization and wide sterilization application range, can be particularly used for skin sterilization, has extremely strong killing effect on bacterial propagules, viruses, fungi or yeasts and bacterial spores, and can kill more than 99 percent of microorganisms. But still has the defects of difficult storage, easy decomposition by light and heat and the like, so that the wide popularization and application of the product are difficult.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a biosafety disinfectant which has the effects of disinfecting surfaces, inhibiting bacterial proliferation and preventing and treating antimicrobial resistance. The invention uses the acidic electrolyzed water, which is based on hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and has high oxidizing power, and can be used for disinfecting the surfaces of organisms such as skin, hands and the like. However, hypochlorous acid is also an unstable compound. Which limits its existing range of use.
The invention provides a composition such as highly efficient and stable acidic electrolyzed water, polyvinylpyrrolidone and modified chitosan. The composition has an equilibrium pH in the range of about 3.7 to 6.8. The disclosed compositions provide a stable HOCl-based biosurface safe disinfection and bacteriostatic action of the modified chitosan, which has a longer life span, which is unprecedented in the art.
Aqueous sterilants are known in which hypochlorous acid is stabilized by the addition of sorbitan esters or polyacrylic acid (PAA). This method has proven to be substantially successful. However, the use of sorbitan esters and the like limits the scope of application of such stabilized hypochlorous acid, for example in the food, medical and care fields.
Based on this state of the art, it was an object of the present invention to provide an alternative stabilizer for hypochlorous acid which enables disinfectants stabilized with said stabilizer to be used in various fields, in particular in the food industry and in the medical and care fields. Such stabilizers are physiologically acceptable, well tolerated by the skin, and stabilize hypochlorous acid on the treated surface for a sufficient period of time to produce a long lasting effect.
Polyvinylpyrrolidone is a commonly used product introduced in the pharmaceutical and food industries, which is physiologically acceptable, well tolerated and more comfortable to the skin. In food products it is used as an adhesive producer and in tablets as an adhesive. Can be used as iodine carrier for wound treatment.
It has been proved that 30,000 dalton (polyvidone K30) polyvinylpyrrolidone as polymer surfactant has anti-dirt re-deposition performance, can be used for preparing transparent liquid or heavy dirt detergent, has good anti-color-turning effect by adding PVP into the detergent, can enhance the cleaning capacity, can prevent the skin from being stimulated by synthetic detergent when washing fabrics, and has the functions of bleaching and killing germ in the detergent compounded by PVP and hydrogen peroxide solid.
For the purpose of the invention, under the condition of not changing the sterilization and disinfection activity of the acidic electrolyzed water, an antibacterial and bacteriostatic agent for promoting absorption is added, so that the safety of the acidic electrolyzed water can be further enhanced.
The modified chitosan is proved to be chitosan extracted from natural marine organisms, is prepared by modification, has good water solubility, oxidation resistance, antibacterial property, adhesion resistance and other properties, has excellent biocompatibility, and can be matched with various medical materials for use.
The modified chitosan can stably exist with acidic electrolyzed water and PVP without influencing the killing effect of active substances on microorganisms. The protective film can be formed on the surface of an object by spraying, can inhibit bacteria from breeding, and has the effects of surface care and bacteriostasis. The disinfectant can be particularly applied to the skin and the parts of the epidermis mucosa, and the chance of the surface being infected by microorganisms is reduced, which is the difference between the disinfectant and other products.
These additives must be stable with respect to hypochlorous acid and also not promote decay of hypochlorous acid. The corrosion inhibitor is particularly useful if the composition is to be used for treating metal surfaces. For example, alkali metal phosphates, preferably potassium phosphates, such as dipotassium hydrogen orthophosphate, may be used as corrosion inhibitors. A stable excipient is particularly useful if the composition is to be thickened. For example, pentaerythritol, polyacrylic acid (PAA) polymers, silica, xanthan gum, and the like.
Detailed Description
Example 1
500ml of acidic electrolyzed water (200 mg/L in available chlorine content) was prepared, and 5g of PVP K30 was added to the acidic electrolyzed water after pH adjustment at room temperature. The mixture was then diluted with 3 times the amount of water to obtain the use concentration.
After the mixture was equilibrated and stabilized for one week, 10g of modified chitosan was added to the mixture, stirred and allowed to stand for 2 days.
The mixture obtained in this way is suitable for the treatment and disinfection of skin wounds. For the preparation of the gelators, customary thickeners, such as acrylates, can be added.
Example 2
A potent germicidal sterilant was produced as follows:
500ml of acidic electrolyzed water (available chlorine content 200 mg/L) was prepared, and 3g of PVP K30 was added at room temperature. The mixture was then stirred until a stable equilibrium was obtained, and then 5g of modified chitosan was added. After further stirring, 500ml of deionized water were added, followed by an additional 3g of PVP K30. Further diluted with 500ml of deionized water, and 10g of modified chitosan was added to obtain the final reagent.
