Abstract

本发明涉及一种具终端器的刺破型电连接器,包括内部设有若干端子的绝缘壳体,其中每个端子均具有伸出绝缘壳体对接面的绝缘刺破部。一盖体装设在对接面上,将挠性排线与该绝缘刺破部连接。终端器设置于盖体的上方与挠性排线的自由端进行电连接,终端器上方设置一盖体将连接后的电连接器包覆。

Description

刺破型电连接器
本发明涉及一种刺破型电连接器,尤其是具有终端器的刺破型电连接器。
一般地,低压差动3型小型计算机界面(SCSI3 LVD)线缆组合是由在线缆自由端设终端器的具68根端子的刺破型插头连接器组成,而该终端器与前述小型计算机系统界面卡上所用的连接器分开组装,并且需要在电路板上的具68根刺破型端子的通孔型连接器和一个包覆刺破型电连接器的盖体。另外,该终端器要超出刺破型电连接器大约76毫米。这不仅会增加计算机内部设备的杂乱程度,而且会增加线缆组合的长度和成本。
本发明目的是提供具终端器的刺破型电连接器,并将其有效组合。
为实现前述目的,本发明具终端器的刺破型电连接器包括内部设有若干端子的绝缘壳体,每个端子均有超出壳体对接面的绝缘刺破部和收容于通道内的结合部,该对接面上组装有一盖体以连接挠性排线与绝缘刺破部。另外,终端器电性连接于挠性排线的自由端,且与盖体相组装,绝缘壳体上设有包覆该终端器的端盖。
由于采用上述方案,可以使整体构造更加紧凑,从而减小计算机内部设备的杂乱程度,并降低连接器组合的成本。
下面结合附图和实施例对本发明作进一步说明。
图1是本发明刺破型电连接器的立体分解图。
图2是图1中刺破型电连接器组合後的剖视图。
图3是将图2中挠性排线移除后后的剖视图。
参阅图1及图2所示,本发明刺破型电连接器1包括具有对接面10a和空腔10b的绝缘壳体10,在该绝缘壳体10内具有若干通道(未标示),而若干端子12则组设于前述对应的通道内。每个端子12包括有安装于绝缘壳体10通道中的基部(未图示)、延伸出对接面10a外的绝缘刺破部12a及延伸至空腔10b内的连接部12b。另外,绝缘壳体10还设有一对位于对端面的固持狭槽13。
盖体15组装于绝缘壳体10的对接面10a上,用以将挠性排线55连接于端子12的绝缘刺破部12a,且盖体15的相对端面上形成一对扣持件,以与绝缘壳体10结合。由于前述为习知技术,此处不再赘述。另外,盖体15的顶面设有四个长型狭槽16。
终端器20电性连接于挠性排线55的自由端,它包括具有若干接触端子23的刺破型连接器21,其中接触端子23的绝缘刺破部23a刺入挠性排线55的末端,而结合部23b则焊接于印刷电路板22上。而且,该印刷电路板22具有伸出刺破型连接器21外的伸出部22a,它可以安全稳固地插入盖体15上的长型狭槽16内,通过上述构造特征不仅可将终端器20稳固安装于刺破型电连接器1的盖体15上,而且可减小挠性排线55伸出刺破型电连接器的长度,即有效消除了计算机内部设备的混乱,且长度减小後,生产成本也相应降低。
端盖30连接于绝缘壳体10,其内部设有空间30a以包覆终端器20及挠性排线55,端盖30包括自其相对末端面伸出的一对扣持件31,当端盖30与绝缘壳体10相结合时,扣持件31延伸至绝缘壳体10的固持狭槽13内并与固持狭槽13的较低边(未图示)相抵接,从而使终端器20与挠性排线55包覆于端盖30内。

Claims (5)

1.一种具终端器的刺破型电连接器,包括端盖、终端器、盖体及 内部设 有若干端子的绝缘壳体,每个端子均设有绝缘刺破部,其特征在于:盖体装设于绝缘壳体的对接面上用以连接挠性排线至上述绝缘刺破部,其中在盖体的相对端上形成一对扣持件,以与上述绝缘壳体相抵接,终端器与上述挠性排线的自由端电性连接,前述终端器与盖体之间设有用以将终端器连接至盖体的连接装置。
2.如权利要求1所述的刺破型电连接器,其特征在于:连接装置包括设在终端器的印刷电路板与设于上述盖体顶面的固持狭槽。
3.如权利要求1所述的刺破型电连接器,其特征在于:组设于上述绝缘壳体用以包覆前述终端器的端盖包括一对自相对端上延伸的扣持件。
4.如权利要求3所述的刺破型电连接器,其特征在于:绝缘壳体包括与上述端盖中的扣持件对应设置的固持狭槽。
5.如权利要求3所述刺破型电连接器,其特征在于:连接装置设于前述终端器与盖体之间,用以连接二者,而固持装置设于端盖与绝缘壳体之间,用以将端盖连接于绝缘壳体上。
