After determining the second recommended video set, the server may further sort the second recommended videos in the second recommended video set to obtain a sorted second recommended video set, and then the server may sequentially send the second recommended videos to the client according to the order of the second recommended videos in the sorted second recommended video set. The second recommended videos are sequenced and sent to the client according to the sequenced second recommended video set, so that a basis can be provided for the sequence of issuing the second recommended videos by the server, and the second recommended videos which are most fit with the portrait of the user, most wonderful, highest in resolution, latest and the like can be preferentially sent to the client, so that the user account can watch videos meeting requirements in time.
The embodiment of the present application does not limit the type and the number of the ranking indicators, and optionally, the ranking indicators include at least one of the following: resolution, region information, time information, friend relationship and play amount. Wherein the resolution is used for indicating the definition degree of the second recommended video; the region information is used for indicating the uploading place of the second recommended video; the time information is used for indicating the uploading time of the second recommended video; the friend relationship is used for indicating the incidence relationship between the user account for uploading the second recommended video and the user account for logging in the client; the play amount is used to indicate a second recommended video history play amount. In the embodiment of the application, a corresponding weight parameter is further set for each ranking index, and optionally, the weight parameter may be configured in advance by a background technician, or may be specifically determined by the server according to the ranking index corresponding to the second recommended video. By setting the corresponding weight parameters for the sorting indexes and then sorting the second recommended videos according to the sorting indexes, the sorted second recommended videos can better fit with the watching preference of the user account, and the watching experience of the user account is improved.
In summary, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the recommended video set is determined by receiving the video acquisition request and according to the video acquisition request, and then the recommended video set is screened again according to the resolution level corresponding to the recommended video to obtain the screened recommended video set, wherein the screened recommended video set is used for issuing the recommended video to the client, so that a mode of effectively determining the recommended video to be issued to the client from a mass of videos is provided, and the video quality of the recommended video to be issued to the client is improved. In addition, in the embodiment of the application, the recommended video set is further screened according to the resolution level of the recommended video to obtain the screened recommended video set, so that the definition of the recommended video in the screened recommended video set is superior, and the video playing effect is improved.
In addition, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the recommended videos are further screened according to the resolution levels and the target levels of the recommended videos, and the target levels are determined according to the historical resolution levels of the user accounts logged in by the client, so that the target levels can be determined according to different user accounts in a distinguishing manner, and the viewing preference of the user accounts can be better fitted to the size of the target levels. In addition, when the recommended video sent to the client is determined, the resolution level of the video watched according to the history including the resolution level of the recommended video and the resolution level of the video watched by the user account is determined, so that the factors influencing the experience of the user account in watching the video are fully considered, and the video playing effect of the client is further improved.
In addition, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, after the server determines the filtered recommended video set, the recommended videos in the filtered recommended video set can be further sorted to obtain the sorted recommended video set, and then the server can sequentially send the recommended videos to the client according to the order of the recommended videos in the sorted recommended video set. By sorting the screened recommended videos and sending the recommended videos to the client according to the sorted recommended video set, a basis can be provided for the server to issue the recommended videos, and the sorting indexes include: the resolution, the regional information, the time information, the friend relationship, the playing amount and the like, the most suitable user portrait, the most wonderful push video with the highest resolution, the latest push video and the like can be preferentially sent to the client, so that the user account can watch the video meeting the requirements in time, and an optimized solution is further provided for the personalized requirements of the user account.
A description will be given below of a determination manner in which the server determines the first recommended video set from the video library.
In a possible implementation manner, the determining a first recommended video set according to the video obtaining request includes: determining a user portrait of a user account according to the video acquisition request; a first set of recommended videos is determined in a video library from the representation of the user.
The user portrait is used to indicate a preference of the user account logged in by the client for viewing videos historically, and optionally, the user portrait is also used to indicate a preference of the user account logged in by the client in other aspects, for example, the preference of the user account in historical shopping, reading, traveling, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment of the application. The video acquisition request can indicate a user account logged in by the client, and the server can determine the user account according to the video acquisition request and acquire historical watching videos and/or records of other aspects of the user account, so that the user portrait of the user account is determined. For example, after determining the user account, the server may obtain at least one of the following information of a historical viewing video of the user account: type, duration, location, etc. to determine the user account's preference for viewing video, and thus the user profile of the user account.
The video library comprises at least one candidate video and content indication information thereof, wherein the content indication information is used for indicating the wonderful degree of the candidate video. The method for storing the candidate videos in the video library is not limited, and optionally, the video library stores the candidate videos according to the types of the candidate videos, for example, the video library is divided into three video units, and the three video units respectively store popular science candidate videos, laugh candidate videos and philosophy candidate videos; optionally, the video library stores the candidate videos according to the time lengths of the candidate videos, for example, the video library is divided into two video units, and the two video units respectively store the long video class candidate videos and the short video class candidate videos. It should be understood that the video library may also store videos according to other dimensions, or store videos according to a combination of multiple dimensions, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present application. The video library can be used for conveniently and quickly determining recommended videos according to requirements by the server in a classified storage mode, and the processing speed of the server is increased. For other descriptions of the video library, the candidate videos, and the content indication information, please refer to the above embodiments, which are not repeated herein.
After the server determines the user portrait of the user account and calls the video library, according to the user portrait and the content indication information of the candidate videos, the server can select the more wonderful candidate videos corresponding to the user portrait from the video library as first recommended videos and form a first recommended video set. For example, when the server determines that the user portrait is a popular science video that is preferred to be watched, the server may select a more wonderful candidate video as the first recommended video and form the first recommended video set from a video unit in which popular science candidate videos are stored in the video library, and for example, select a more popular and shared candidate video as the first recommended video and form the first recommended video set.
In summary, according to the embodiment of the application, the first recommended video set is determined according to the user portrait and the content indication information of the candidate videos, videos played in the user interface can be recommended to different user accounts in a targeted mode, and more wonderful videos can be recommended to the user accounts, so that human-computer interaction experience is improved, and personalized requirements of different user accounts are met.
Several ways of determining the target level by the server based on the historical resolution level of the user account are described below.
In a possible implementation, the determining the target level according to the historical resolution level includes: according to a target classification strategy, dividing the historical resolution level into n types, wherein n is a positive integer greater than 1; acquiring weight parameters of n types of historical resolution levels; and calculating the target level according to the n-type historical resolution level and the weight parameter of the n-type historical resolution level.
The target classification policy includes a category of a historical resolution level set when the historical resolution level is classified, specific contents of the target classification policy are not limited in the embodiment of the present application, and optionally, the target classification policy includes historical resolution levels corresponding to different terminal types, for example, historical resolution levels corresponding to a computer terminal, a mobile phone terminal, a television terminal, and the like; alternatively, the objective classification policy includes historical resolution levels corresponding to different time periods, e.g., historical resolution levels corresponding to morning, noon, afternoon, and evening; alternatively, the target classification policy includes historical resolution levels corresponding to different locations, e.g., family, school, and work units. The server may divide the historical resolution levels into a plurality of categories according to a target classification policy. It should be understood that, in practical applications, the historical resolution levels may also be classified by integrating a plurality of target classification strategies, for example, the historical resolution levels are classified by integrating different terminal types and different time periods, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present application.
After the server divides the n types of historical resolution levels, the server can continuously acquire the weight parameters of the n types of historical resolution levels. The setting time and the setting mode of the weight parameters of the historical resolution level are not limited, and optionally, the server determines the weight parameters of the historical resolution level when determining the target classification strategy; or after the server classifies the historical resolution levels, the weighting parameters corresponding to the historical resolution levels are determined in real time according to the current state of the client, for example, when the target classification policy includes the historical resolution levels corresponding to different time periods, the historical resolution levels can be divided into four categories, namely morning, noon, afternoon and evening, at this time, if the server acquires that the usage time period corresponding to the client is the morning, the historical resolution level corresponding to the morning is set to be a higher weighting parameter, and the historical resolution levels corresponding to the noon, afternoon and evening are set to be a lower weighting parameter. By determining the weight parameters corresponding to the multiple types of historical resolution levels in real time, the historical resolution level matched with the current client state can have higher weight, so that the setting of the target level is more suitable for the current client state.
The server can perform weighted summation on the n types of historical resolution levels according to the n types of historical resolution levels and the weighting parameters thereof so as to calculate the target level. Illustratively, the calculating the target level according to the n-type historical resolution levels and the weighting parameters thereof includes: calculating the average level of the n types of historical resolution levels; and calculating the target level according to the average level of the n types of historical resolution levels and the weight parameter. The server calculates the average value of the historical resolution levels for each type of historical resolution level to obtain the average level of each type of historical resolution level, then carries out weighted summation on the average levels of the multiple types of historical resolution levels according to the weight parameters of the multiple types of historical resolution levels, and calculates to obtain the target level.
In another possible implementation, the determining the target level according to the historical resolution level includes: determining a resolution level satisfying a target condition from the historical resolution levels; and calculating the average level of the resolution levels meeting the target condition to obtain the target level.
The target condition is used to filter the historical resolution level. The embodiment of the present application does not limit the specific content of the target condition, and optionally, the target condition includes a level threshold, for example, the target condition is a 5-9 level historical resolution level; or, the target condition includes a historical resolution level corresponding to a certain terminal, for example, a resolution level corresponding to a mobile phone terminal; alternatively, the target condition includes a historical resolution level for a certain period of time, for example, a historical resolution level for the day. In the embodiment of the application, the determination time of the target condition is not limited, and optionally, the server may determine the target condition in real time according to the state of the client, for example, if the state of the client is determined to be a mobile phone end, the target condition is determined to be a historical resolution level corresponding to the mobile phone end. By determining the target condition in real time, the historical resolution level selected according to the target condition can be more suitable for the current client state.
After the server determines the target condition, the server may determine a resolution level satisfying the target condition from the historical resolution levels according to the target condition, then calculate an average level of the resolution levels satisfying the target condition, and determine the calculated average level as the target level.
It should be understood that, after understanding the technical solutions of the present application, those skilled in the art will easily conceive of other technical solutions, for example, directly calculating the average level of the acquired historical resolution levels and taking it as the target level; or, a certain number of historical resolution levels are selected from the acquired historical resolution levels randomly or according to a certain condition, and the average level of the selected historical resolution levels is taken as a target level, which all belong to the protection scope of the application.
In summary, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the present application, the historical resolution levels are divided into a plurality of categories according to the classification policy, and then the target level is calculated according to the historical resolution levels of the plurality of categories and the weighting parameters thereof.
In addition, in the embodiment of the application, the resolution level meeting a certain condition is determined from the historical resolution levels, the average level corresponding to the resolution level meeting the certain condition is used as the target level, and the viewing preference of the user account is reflected by the setting of the condition when the resolution level is selected, so that the target level calculated in the embodiment of the application is matched with the viewing preference of the user account.
The following describes a process of determining a delivery format of a recommended video by a server.
In one possible embodiment, the step 240 includes the following steps:
step 242, obtaining the network bandwidth corresponding to the client.
Network bandwidth refers to the amount of data transmitted per unit time and may be used to indicate network quality of service, typically, the greater the network bandwidth, the better the network quality of service. The acquisition time of the network bandwidth is not limited, and optionally, after the server determines the push video set, the server acquires the network bandwidth corresponding to the client; or the network bandwidth is carried in the video acquisition request, so that the server can acquire the network bandwidth when acquiring the video acquisition request, and by carrying the network bandwidth in the video acquisition request, data traffic between the server and the client can be reduced, the server is prevented from acquiring information from the client for many times, and the processing overhead of the server is reduced.
And 244, determining the sending format of the second recommended video according to the network bandwidth.
Because the second recommended video can be transcoded into multiple resolutions in the transcoding process, and the data volume of the transcoded second recommended video corresponding to each transcoding resolution is different, generally speaking, the higher the resolution of the transcoded second recommended video is, the larger the data volume of the transcoded second recommended video corresponding to the transcoded second recommended video is, the smaller the resolution of the transcoded second recommended video is, the smaller the data volume of the transcoded second recommended video corresponding to the transcoded second recommended video is. In order to avoid the situation that the client is loaded too slowly, the network is jammed and the like due to the fact that the transcoded second recommended video occupying a large data volume is sent to the client under the condition that the network service quality is poor, the embodiment of the application provides that the issuing format of the second recommended video is determined according to the network bandwidth, and the issuing format comprises the resolution ratio of the transcoded second recommended video. That is, under the condition that the network bandwidth is small, that is, the network service quality is poor, it is determined that the delivery format of the second recommended video includes a small resolution after transcoding; and under the condition of larger network bandwidth, namely better network service quality, determining that the issuing format of the second recommended video comprises larger resolution after transcoding, so that the size of data volume when the second recommended video is sent can be determined according to different network service qualities, and the loading speed of the client is ensured.
In addition, when the network bandwidth is large, the second recommended video is determined to be issued at the resolution after the transcoding is large, and when the network bandwidth is small, the second recommended video is determined to be issued at the resolution after the transcoding is small, so that the network service quality is good, the second recommended video with the high resolution can be displayed in the user interface of the client, and the video playing effect of the client is improved; when the network service quality is poor, the second recommended video with lower resolution can be displayed in the user interface of the client, and the loading speed of the client is increased.
And step 246, sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the issuing format.
After determining the delivery format of the second recommended video, the server can send the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the delivery format, that is, the server sends the second recommended video transcoded into the delivery format to the client according to the second recommended video set. For example, if the server determines that the delivered format of the second recommended video includes that the resolution after transcoding is 540P, the server sends the second recommended video transcoded into 540P to the client when sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set.
In one example, after the step 256, the method further includes: responding to the change of the network bandwidth, and updating the issuing format of the second recommended video according to the changed network bandwidth under the condition that the change is larger than a preset threshold value; and sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the updated delivery format.
According to the embodiment of the application, the delivery format of the second recommended video is updated in time according to the change of the network bandwidth, and the second recommended video is sent to the client according to the updated delivery format, so that on one hand, the loading speed of the client can be ensured, and on the other hand, the video playing effect can be ensured. And because the network bandwidth is unstable, the network bandwidth at each moment is different, and compared with the situation that once the network bandwidth changes, the delivery format of the second recommended video is updated, the server needs to frequently update the delivery format, and the processing cost is too large, in the embodiment of the application, the server is provided with the preset threshold, when the change of the network bandwidth is greater than the preset threshold, the network service quality can be considered to be obviously changed, at the moment, the server updates the delivery format according to the changed network bandwidth, and the processing cost of the server can be reduced while the delivery format is timely updated when the network service quality changes.
In summary, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the network bandwidth corresponding to the client is obtained, the delivery format of the recommended video is determined according to the network bandwidth, and the recommended video is sent to the client according to the recommended video set and the delivery format, so that for different network bandwidths, namely different network service qualities, the size of the data volume when the recommended video is sent and the resolution after transcoding used when the recommended video is delivered can be determined in a targeted manner, and the loading speed and the video playing effect of the client are ensured.
In addition, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the server responds to the change of the network bandwidth and updates the issuing format of the recommended video according to the changed network bandwidth, so that on one hand, the loading speed of the client can be ensured, and the transcoded recommended video corresponding to the resolution after the transcoding is still sent under the condition that the network bandwidth is reduced and the network service quality is deteriorated, which may cause the loading of the client to be too slow; on the other hand, the video playing effect can be ensured, and the situation that the effect of playing the recommended video by the client is influenced by sending the transcoded recommended video corresponding to the lower transcoded resolution ratio under the condition that the network bandwidth is increased and the network service quality is improved is avoided.
The following describes a process of determining the resolution level of a video.
In a possible embodiment, the method further comprises the following steps:
step 250, receiving candidate videos sent by at least one client.
The candidate video is a video sent to the server by the client in modes of terminal shooting, album import and the like, and is used for being selected by the server and sent to the corresponding client. In the embodiment of the application, the server can receive the candidate video sent by at least one client and store the candidate video in the video library.
Step 260, determining the resolution level of the candidate video according to the reference information of the candidate video.
The resolution level refers to a level of resolution division of a video, wherein the resolution refers to a number of pixels contained in a unit inch in one frame image of the video, and indicates a degree of sharpness of the video, and specifically, the higher the resolution of the video, the sharper the video.
The embodiment of the application does not limit the time for determining the resolution level of the candidate video by the server, and optionally, after receiving the candidate video, the server directly analyzes and processes the candidate video to determine the resolution level of the candidate video; or after transcoding the candidate video, the server analyzes and processes the candidate video to determine the resolution level of the candidate video; or after the server sends the candidate video to the client and receives the user watching score corresponding to the candidate video, the server analyzes and processes the candidate video to determine the resolution level of the candidate video. The specific level setting of the resolution level of the candidate video is not limited in the embodiment of the present application, for example, in order to facilitate quick identification and judgment of the server, the resolution level of the candidate video may be divided into ten levels, which are 0 to 9 levels respectively. The embodiment of the application does not limit the relationship between the resolution level and the resolution of the candidate video, and optionally, the resolution level and the resolution have a positive correlation; alternatively, the resolution level is inversely related to the resolution.
In the embodiment of the application, the server may determine the resolution level of the candidate video according to the reference information of the candidate video. Optionally, the reference information of the candidate video is multiple items, and the server may determine the resolution level of the candidate video according to the reference information of the candidate video and the weight parameter thereof, that is, the server may set the weight parameter of the reference information for each item of reference information, and then perform weighting calculation according to the reference information and the weight parameter thereof to determine the resolution level of the candidate video. Optionally, the weight parameter is preset by a background technician, or the weight parameter is randomly set by a server, which is not limited in this embodiment of the application.
Wherein the reference information comprises at least one of: and uploading compression rate, transcoding parameters, user viewing scores and background scores. The upload compression rate refers to a compression rate adopted when the candidate video is uploaded, and different upload compression rates can reflect the complexity of the candidate video, for example, a candidate video with more complexity and more content and a candidate video with less content are compressed, and the information amount of the compressed candidate video with more complexity and more content is larger than that of the compressed candidate video with less content, so that the upload compression rate of the candidate video with more complexity and more content is also larger than that of the candidate video with less content, and the upload compression rate can reflect the complexity of the candidate video; the transcoding parameters refer to relevant parameters related to the candidate video in the transcoding process, and optionally, the transcoding parameters include transcoding speed, transcoding rate and the like, wherein the transcoding speed can reflect the complexity of the candidate video, a more complex candidate video generally corresponds to a smaller transcoding speed, the transcoding rate can reflect the noise size of the candidate video, and a candidate video with larger noise generally has a larger transcoding rate; the user watching score refers to the score of a user watching the candidate video on the picture quality of the candidate video, the server can recommend the candidate video to the user for watching, and then receives the watching evaluation of the user, wherein the watching evaluation can include the user watching score; the background scoring refers to scoring of the candidate video by a background technician, and after the candidate video is uploaded to the server, the background technician can analyze the candidate video and make corresponding evaluation on the picture quality of the candidate video.
In summary, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the resolution level of the candidate video is determined by receiving the candidate video and then according to the reference information of the candidate video, so that the purpose of analyzing the resolution of the candidate video is achieved. In addition, in the embodiment of the application, the server can determine the resolution level of a candidate video according to a plurality of reference information corresponding to the candidate video, and the reference information includes transcoding parameters of the candidate video, so that the resolution of the candidate video can be analyzed from a plurality of dimensions, and the accuracy of the resolution level is improved.
Referring to fig. 3, a flowchart of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. The method may be applied in the client described above. The method may include the steps of:
step 310, a video playing request is received.
The method includes that a video playing request is used for requesting to play a video in a user interface of a client, a triggering mode of the video playing request is not limited in the embodiment of the application, optionally, a video playing control is displayed in the user interface of the client, and the client can receive the video playing request by clicking the control; or when the user clicks an icon corresponding to the client to trigger the client to display a user interface, the client can receive a video playing request; or, the user enables the client to receive the video playing request through voice, gesture and other modes. The content of the video playing request is not limited in the embodiment of the present application, and optionally, the video playing request includes, but is not limited to, an identifier of a user account logged in by the client.
Step 320, sending a video acquisition request to the server according to the video playing request.
After receiving the video playing request, the client sends a video acquisition request to the server according to the video playing request, wherein the video acquisition request is used for requesting to acquire a video played in the user interface. The specific content of the video acquisition request is not limited in the embodiment of the present application, and optionally, the content included in the video acquisition request includes but is not limited to at least one of the following content: the client terminal identification, the user account number logged in by the client terminal, the characteristics of the user account number logged in by the client terminal, the type of the video requested to be acquired, the number of the videos requested to be acquired, and the like. Optionally, the video obtaining request and the video playing request may be the same request, that is, after receiving the video playing request, the client may directly send the video playing request to the server, which is not limited in this embodiment of the application.
Step 330, receiving a second recommended video from the server.
The client can receive a second recommended video sent by the server, wherein the resolution level of the second recommended video meets the first condition. For descriptions of the first condition, the second recommended video, and the like, please refer to the above method embodiment, which is not described herein again.
Step 340, playing the second recommended video in the user interface.
After receiving the second recommended video, the client may play the second recommended video in the user interface in response to the video play request.
In summary, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the video acquisition request is sent to the server according to the video playing request, then the recommended video from the server is received, and the recommended video is displayed in the user interface, so that a mode of responding to the video playing request is provided. In addition, in the embodiment of the application, the resolution level of the recommended video meets the first condition, so that the recommended video acquired by the client meets the resolution requirement when the user account watches the video, and the video playing effect of the client is improved.
It should be noted that, in practical applications, the embodiment of fig. 2 and the embodiment of fig. 3 may be implemented in combination.
Please refer to fig. 4, which illustrates a flowchart of a method for determining a recommended video and a method for playing a video according to an embodiment of the present application.
In step 401, the client sends the candidate video to the server. The candidate video is a video sent to the server by the client in modes of terminal shooting, album import and the like, and is used for being selected by the server and sent to the corresponding client. In the embodiment of the application, the client side can send the candidate video to the server and store the candidate video in the video library.
And step 403, the server transcodes the candidate video. The server may transcode the candidate video after receiving the candidate video, alternatively, the server may transcode the candidate video in a plurality of formats, for example, transcode the candidate video in 540P and 270P.
In step 405, the server determines the resolution level of the candidate video according to the reference information of the candidate video. The resolution level refers to a level for dividing the resolution of the video, and the server may perform transcoding processing on the candidate video and then perform analysis processing on the candidate video to determine the resolution level of the candidate video. Optionally, the reference information of the candidate video is multiple items, and the server may determine the resolution level of the candidate video according to the reference information of the candidate video and the weight parameter thereof.
In step 407, the client receives a video playing request. The video playing request is used for requesting to play a video in a user interface of the client, the content of the video playing request is not limited in the embodiment of the application, and optionally, the video playing request includes an identifier of a user account logged in by the client.
And step 409, the client sends a video acquisition request to the server according to the video playing request. The video acquisition request is used for requesting to acquire a video played in the user interface. Optionally, the video obtaining request includes an identifier of a user account logged in by the client, an identifier of the client, the number of videos requested to be obtained, the type of videos requested to be obtained, and the like.
In step 411, the server determines the historical resolution levels of the first recommended video set and the user account logged in by the client according to the video acquisition request. The first recommended video set comprises at least one first recommended video. Optionally, the server determines a user portrait of a user account logged in by the client according to the video acquisition request, then acquires the video library, and determines the first recommended video set according to the video library and the user portrait. The historical resolution level refers to a resolution level of a historical viewing video of the user account, and optionally, the historical resolution level acquired by the server includes a resolution level of at least one historical viewing video of the user account.
In step 413, the server determines a target level based on the historical resolution level. The target level refers to a resolution level at which the first set of recommended videos is filtered.
In step 415, the server determines a second recommended video set from the first recommended video set according to the resolution level and the target level of the first recommended video. The server can determine a first recommended video with higher resolution in the first recommended video set as a second recommended video according to the resolution of the first recommended video, and form at least one second recommended video into a second recommended video set, wherein the second recommended video is used for playing in the user interface.
Step 417, the server sorts the second recommended video according to the sorting index and the weight parameter thereof, so as to obtain a sorted second recommended video set. After determining the second recommended video set, the server may further sort the second recommended videos in the second recommended video set to obtain a sorted pushed video set, where the type and the number of the sorting indexes are not limited in the embodiment of the present application, and optionally, the sorting indexes include at least one of the following: resolution, region information, time information, friend relationship and play amount.
Step 419, the server obtains the network bandwidth corresponding to the client. Network bandwidth refers to the amount of data transmitted per unit time and may be used to indicate network quality of service, typically, the greater the network bandwidth, the better the network quality of service. The acquisition time of the network bandwidth is not limited, and optionally, after the server determines the push video set, the server acquires the network bandwidth corresponding to the client; alternatively, the network bandwidth is carried in the video acquisition request.
In step 421, the server determines the delivery format of the push video according to the network bandwidth. The second recommended video may be transcoded into a plurality of resolutions in a transcoding process. Determining that the issuing format of the second recommended video comprises a smaller resolution after transcoding under the condition that the network bandwidth is smaller, namely the network service quality is poorer; and under the condition that the network bandwidth is large, namely the network service quality is good, determining that the issued format of the second recommended video comprises a large resolution after transcoding.
And step 423, the server sends the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the delivery format. After determining the delivery format of the second recommended video, the server can send the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the delivery format, that is, the server sends the second recommended video transcoded into the delivery format to the client according to the second recommended video set.
Step 425, the client displays the second recommended video in the user interface. After receiving the second recommended video, the client may decode the second recommended video and play the second recommended video in the user interface, so as to respond to the video play request.
The following are embodiments of the apparatus of the present application that may be used to perform embodiments of the method of the present application. For details which are not disclosed in the embodiments of the apparatus of the present application, reference is made to the embodiments of the method of the present application.
Referring to fig. 5, a block diagram of a device for determining recommended videos according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. The device has the function of realizing the example of the determination method of the recommended video, and the function can be realized by hardware or by hardware executing corresponding software. The device may be a server or may be provided in a server. The apparatus 500 may comprise: a get request receiving module 510, a first set determining module 520, a second set determining module 530, and a recommended video transmitting module 540.
A get request receiving module 510, configured to receive a video get request from a client.
A first set determining module 520, configured to determine a first recommended video set according to the video obtaining request, where the first recommended video set includes at least one first recommended video.
A second set determining module 530, configured to determine, according to the resolution level of the first recommended video, a second recommended video set from the first recommended video set, where the second recommended video set includes at least one second recommended video, and the resolution level of the second recommended video meets the first condition.
And a recommended video sending module 540, configured to send the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set.
In one example, the first condition includes a resolution level of the second recommended video not worse than a target level; the second set determining module 530 includes: a history level determination unit 532, configured to determine a history resolution level of a user account to which the client logs in; a target level determination unit 534 for determining the target level according to the historical resolution level; a second set determining unit 536, configured to determine the second recommended video set from the first recommended video set according to the target level and the resolution level of the first recommended video.
In an example, the target level determining unit 534 is configured to: according to a target classification strategy, dividing the historical resolution level into n types, wherein n is a positive integer greater than 1; acquiring a weight parameter of the n types of historical resolution levels; and calculating the target level according to the n types of historical resolution levels and the weight parameters of the n types of historical resolution levels.
In one example, said calculating said target level according to said n classes of historical resolution levels and their weighting parameters comprises: calculating an average level of the n classes of historical resolution levels; and calculating the target level according to the average level of the n types of historical resolution levels and a weight parameter.
In an example, the target level determining unit 534 is configured to: determining a resolution level satisfying a target condition from the historical resolution levels; and calculating the average level of the resolution levels meeting the target condition to obtain the target level.
In one example, the resolution level is inversely related to resolution; the second set determining module 530 is configured to: for an ith first recommended video in the first recommended video set, determining whether a resolution level of the ith first recommended video is less than the target level, wherein i is a positive integer; determining the ith first recommended video as the second recommended video if the resolution level of the ith first recommended video is less than the target level.
In one example, as shown in fig. 6, the apparatus 500 further comprises: the recommended video sorting module 550 is configured to sort the second recommended videos according to the sorting indexes and the weight parameters thereof to obtain a sorted second recommended video set, where the sorted second recommended video set is used to send to the client; wherein the ranking indicator comprises at least one of: the video recommendation system comprises resolution, region information, time information, a friend relationship and a play amount, wherein the resolution is used for indicating the definition of a second recommended video, the region information is used for indicating the uploading place of the second recommended video, the time information is used for indicating the uploading time of the second recommended video, the friend relationship is used for indicating the association relationship between a user account for uploading the second recommended video and a user account for logging in a client, and the play amount is used for indicating the historical play amount of the second recommended video.
In an example, the first set determining module 520 is configured to: determining a user portrait of the user account according to the video acquisition request, wherein the user portrait is used for indicating the preference of the user account for watching videos historically; and determining the first recommended video set in a video library according to the user portrait.
In an example, as shown in fig. 6, the recommended video sending module 540 includes: a network bandwidth obtaining unit 542, configured to obtain a network bandwidth corresponding to the client; an issue format determining unit 544, configured to determine an issue format of the second recommended video according to the network bandwidth, where the issue format includes a resolution of the second recommended video after transcoding; a recommended video sending unit 546, configured to send the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the delivery format.
In an example, as shown in fig. 6, the delivery format determining unit 544 is further configured to, in response to a change of the network bandwidth, update the delivery format of the second recommended video according to the changed network bandwidth if the change is greater than the preset threshold; the recommended video sending unit 546 is further configured to send the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the updated delivery format.
In one example, as shown in fig. 6, the apparatus 500 further comprises: a candidate video receiving module 560, configured to receive a candidate video sent by at least one client; a resolution level determining module 570, configured to determine a resolution level of the candidate video according to the reference information of the candidate video; wherein the reference information comprises at least one of: the method comprises the steps of uploading compression rate, transcoding parameters, user watching scores and background scores, wherein the uploading compression rate refers to the compression rate adopted when the candidate videos are uploaded, the transcoding parameters refer to relevant parameters related to the candidate videos in the transcoding process, the user watching scores refer to the scores of users watching the candidate videos on the picture quality of the candidate videos, and the background scores refer to the scores of background technicians on the picture quality of the candidate videos.
In summary, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the recommended video set is determined by receiving the video acquisition request and according to the video acquisition request, and then the recommended video set is screened again according to the resolution level corresponding to the recommended video to obtain the screened recommended video set, wherein the screened recommended video set is used for issuing the recommended video to the client, so that a mode of effectively determining the recommended video to be issued to the client from a mass of videos is provided, and the video quality of the recommended video to be issued to the client is improved. In addition, in the embodiment of the application, the recommended video set is further screened according to the resolution level of the recommended video to obtain the screened recommended video set, so that the definition of the recommended video in the screened recommended video set is superior, and the video playing effect is improved.
In addition, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the recommended videos are further screened according to the resolution levels and the target levels of the recommended videos, and the target levels are determined according to the historical resolution levels of the user accounts logged in by the client, so that the target levels can be determined according to different user accounts in a distinguishing manner, and the viewing preference of the user accounts can be better fitted to the size of the target levels. In addition, when the recommended video sent to the client is determined, the resolution level of the video watched according to the history including the resolution level of the recommended video and the resolution level of the video watched by the user account is determined, so that the factors influencing the experience of the user account in watching the video are fully considered, and the video playing effect of the client is further improved.
In addition, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, after the server determines the filtered recommended video set, the recommended videos in the filtered recommended video set can be further sorted to obtain the sorted recommended video set, and then the server can sequentially send the recommended videos to the client according to the order of the recommended videos in the sorted recommended video set. By sorting the screened recommended videos and sending the recommended videos to the client according to the sorted recommended video set, a basis can be provided for the server to issue the recommended videos, and the sorting indexes include: the resolution, the regional information, the time information, the friend relationship, the playing amount and the like, the most suitable user portrait, the most wonderful push video with the highest resolution, the latest push video and the like can be preferentially sent to the client, so that the user account can watch the video meeting the requirements in time, and an optimized solution is further provided for the personalized requirements of the user account.
Referring to fig. 7, a block diagram of a video playback device according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. The device has the function of realizing the video playing method example, and the function can be realized by hardware or by hardware executing corresponding software. The device can be a client and can also be arranged in the client. The apparatus 700 may include: a play request receiving module 710, an acquisition request sending module 720, a recommended video receiving module 730 and a recommended video playing module 740.
A playing request receiving module 710, configured to receive a video playing request, where the video playing request is used to request that a video be played in a user interface of a client.
An obtaining request sending module 720, configured to send a video obtaining request to a server according to the video playing request, where the video obtaining request is used to request to obtain a video played in the user interface.
A recommended video receiving module 730, configured to receive a second recommended video from the server, where a resolution level of the second recommended video meets a first condition.
And a recommended video playing module 740, configured to play the second recommended video in the user interface.
In summary, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the video acquisition request is sent to the server according to the video playing request, then the recommended video from the server is received, and the recommended video is displayed in the user interface, so that a mode of responding to the video playing request is provided. In addition, in the embodiment of the application, the resolution level of the recommended video meets the first condition, so that the recommended video acquired by the client meets the resolution requirement when the user account watches the video, and the video playing effect of the client is improved.
It should be noted that, when the apparatus provided in the foregoing embodiment implements the functions thereof, only the division of the functional modules is illustrated, and in practical applications, the functions may be distributed by different functional modules according to needs, that is, the internal structure of the apparatus may be divided into different functional modules to implement all or part of the functions described above. In addition, the apparatus and method embodiments provided by the above embodiments belong to the same concept, and specific implementation processes thereof are described in the method embodiments for details, which are not described herein again.
In an exemplary embodiment, a computer device is also provided. The computer device comprises a processor and a memory, in which a computer program is stored. In the case where the computer device is the terminal 10 in which the client 30 is installed in the implementation environment shown in fig. 1, the computer program is loaded and executed by a processor to implement the above-described video playing method; in the case where the computer device is the server 20 in the implementation environment shown in fig. 1, the computer program is loaded by a processor and executes the above-described determination method of recommended videos.
In an exemplary embodiment, there is also provided a computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon a computer program which, when executed by a processor of a computer device, implements the above-described method of determining recommended videos.
In an exemplary embodiment, there is also provided a computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon a computer program which, when executed by a processor of a computer device, implements the above-described video playback method.
In an exemplary embodiment, a computer program product is also provided, which, when run on a computer device, causes the computer device to execute the above-described method of determining recommended videos.
In an exemplary embodiment, a computer program product is also provided, which, when run on a computer device, causes the computer device to execute the above-mentioned video playback method.

Claims (16)

1. A method for determining recommended videos, the method comprising:
receiving a video acquisition request from a client;
determining a first recommended video set according to the video acquisition request, wherein the first recommended video set comprises at least one first recommended video;
determining a second recommended video set from the first recommended video set according to the resolution level of the first recommended video, wherein the second recommended video set comprises at least one second recommended video, and the resolution level of the second recommended video meets a first condition;
and sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first condition comprises a resolution level of the second recommended video not worse than a target level;
determining a second recommended video set from the first recommended video set according to the resolution level of the first recommended video, including:
determining the historical resolution level of a user account logged in by the client;
determining the target level according to the historical resolution level;
and determining the second recommended video set from the first recommended video set according to the target level and the resolution level of the first recommended video.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein determining the target level based on the historical resolution level comprises:
according to a target classification strategy, dividing the historical resolution level into n types, wherein n is a positive integer greater than 1;
acquiring a weight parameter of the n types of historical resolution levels;
and calculating the target level according to the n types of historical resolution levels and the weight parameters of the n types of historical resolution levels.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein said calculating the target level according to the n-class historical resolution levels and their weighting parameters comprises:
calculating an average level of the n classes of historical resolution levels;
and calculating the target level according to the average level of the n types of historical resolution levels and a weight parameter.
5. The method of claim 2, wherein determining the target level based on the historical resolution level comprises:
determining a resolution level satisfying a second condition from the historical resolution levels;
and calculating the average level of the resolution levels meeting the second condition to obtain the target level.
6. The method of claim 2, wherein the resolution level is inversely related to resolution;
determining a second recommended video set from the first recommended video set according to the target level and the resolution level of the first recommended video, including:
for an ith first recommended video in the first recommended video set, determining whether a resolution level of the ith first recommended video is less than the target level, wherein i is a positive integer;
determining the ith first recommended video as the second recommended video if the resolution level of the ith first recommended video is less than the target level.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein after determining a second set of recommended videos from the first set of recommended videos according to the resolution level of the first recommended video, further comprising:
sorting the second recommended videos according to the sorting indexes and the weight parameters thereof to obtain a sorted second recommended video set, wherein the sorted second recommended video set is used for sending to the client;
wherein the ranking indicator comprises at least one of: resolution, region information, time information, friend relationship and play amount.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein determining the first set of recommended videos according to the video acquisition request comprises:
determining a user portrait of the user account according to the video acquisition request, wherein the user portrait is used for indicating the preference of the user account for watching videos historically;
and determining the first recommended video set in a video library according to the user portrait.
9. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein said sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set comprises:
acquiring a network bandwidth corresponding to the client;
determining a distribution format of the second recommended video according to the network bandwidth, wherein the distribution format comprises the resolution of the second recommended video after transcoding;
and sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the delivery format.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein after sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second set of recommended videos and the delivery format, further comprising:
responding to the change of the network bandwidth, and updating the issuing format of the second recommended video according to the changed network bandwidth under the condition that the change is larger than the preset threshold;
and sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set and the updated delivery format.
11. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 8, further comprising:
receiving candidate videos sent by at least one client;
determining the resolution level of the candidate video according to the reference information of the candidate video;
wherein the reference information comprises at least one of: and uploading compression rate, transcoding parameters, user viewing scores and background scores.
12. A video playback method, the method comprising:
receiving a video playing request, wherein the video playing request is used for requesting to play a video in a user interface of a client;
sending a video acquisition request to a server according to the video playing request, wherein the video acquisition request is used for requesting to acquire a video played in the user interface;
receiving a second recommended video from the server, wherein the resolution level of the second recommended video meets a first condition;
playing the second recommended video in the user interface.
13. An apparatus for determining a recommended video, the apparatus comprising:
the acquisition request receiving module is used for receiving a video acquisition request from a client;
a first set determination module, configured to determine a first recommended video set according to the video acquisition request, where the first recommended video set includes at least one first recommended video;
a second set determining module, configured to determine a second recommended video set from the first recommended video set according to a resolution level of the first recommended video, where the second recommended video set includes at least one second recommended video, and the resolution level of the second recommended video meets a first condition;
and the recommended video sending module is used for sending the second recommended video to the client according to the second recommended video set.
14. A video playback apparatus, comprising:
the system comprises a playing request receiving module, a video playing request receiving module and a video playing module, wherein the playing request receiving module is used for receiving a video playing request which is used for requesting to play a video in a user interface of a client;
an acquisition request sending module, configured to send a video acquisition request to a server according to the video playing request, where the video acquisition request is used to request to acquire a video played in the user interface;
the recommended video receiving module is used for receiving a second recommended video from the server, and the resolution level of the second recommended video meets a first condition;
and the recommended video playing module is used for playing the second recommended video in the user interface.
15. A computer device, characterized in that it comprises a processor and a memory in which is stored a computer program that is loaded and executed by the processor to implement the method of determining recommended videos according to any one of claims 1 to 11, or to implement the method of playing videos according to claim 12.
16. A computer-readable storage medium, on which a computer program is stored, which, when being executed by a processor, implements the method for determining a recommended video according to any one of claims 1 to 11, or implements the method for playing a video according to claim 12.
