With continued reference to fig. 2, a flow 200 of one embodiment of a method of processing video according to the present application is shown. The video processing method, the user client side, the method can comprise the following steps:
step 201, a video request is sent to a server, and a video list returned by the server is received, wherein the video list comprises video information of a plurality of videos, and the video information comprises the videos and video characteristics of the videos.
In this embodiment, an execution body (for example, the terminal device shown in fig. 1) on which the video processing method is executed may send a video request to the server and receive a video list returned by the server. The video list may include not only a plurality of videos but also video features of each of the plurality of videos. The client may be used to play video.
In practice, a video feature may refer to a feature determined from a video picture and/or video content, which may be directed to a feature matrix of quantitative features.
Step 202, adding at least two video information in the video list to the presentation set of the client, and adding other video information in the video list to the alternative set of the client.
In this embodiment, there may be a presentation set of video information and an alternative set of video information on the client. The executing body may add at least two video information in the video list to the presentation set, and add other video information in the video list than the at least two video information to the alternative set. The presentation sets and alternative sets herein may take various forms, such as queues or matrices. The videos in the presentation set are videos that identify to be presented to a user.
Specifically, the executing body may determine at least two video information in various manners. For example, the server may not only issue the video list, but also issue the identifier of the video information related to the interface presentation in the video list, that is, the identifier of the video information recommended to be added into the presentation set. Thus, the executing body can add the video information corresponding to the identification into the showing set. Alternatively, the executing body may determine the at least two video information by using a preset rule, for example, a preset number of video information of each category of video is obtained. The categories of video herein may be varied, such as drama, movie, game, animation.
In step 203, the identification of the videos in the display set is displayed, and in response to detecting the preset operation on the identification of any video in the display set, similar videos of any video are searched for in the alternative set based on the video characteristics.
In this embodiment, the executing body may display an identifier of a video in the display set, and search for a similar video of any video in the alternative set when detecting a preset operation of a user on any video in the display set. The similarity video may refer to that the similarity between the searched video and any video is the largest in the respective similarity between each video in the alternative set and any video, or may refer to that the similarity between the searched video and any video is greater than a preset similarity threshold. The identification of the video may include an icon (such as a cover image) and, in addition, may include a video name.
In practice, the above-described enforcement agent may find similar videos based on video features, which may refer to video features of any video and/or video features in an alternative set, in various ways. For example, the executing body may search for, in the alternative set, a video with the highest similarity between the video feature and the video feature of any video, and take the video as the similar video.
Step 204, video information of similar video is added to the presentation set and removed from the alternative set.
In this embodiment, the executing body may add the video information of the similar video to the display set, and remove the video information of the similar video from the alternative set.
The method provided by the embodiment of the application can determine the video displayed to the user by the identifier at the client side, and can improve timeliness of video recommendation while reducing the calculated amount of the server.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the method may further include: for the video in the alternative set, starting from the last time the video is added into the alternative set, timing the video to obtain the timing duration of the video; and in response to the timing duration reaching the preset recovery duration, moving the video information of the video out of the alternative set, wherein the number of the clients with the video in the alternative set is smaller than or equal to the preset number.
In these alternative implementations, the execution body may time the join time of each video joined to the alternative set, resulting in a time duration. And under the condition that the timing duration reaches the preset recovery duration, the execution body can move the video information of the video out of the alternative set. The same video platform needs to limit a certain number (i.e. a preset number) of clients to be replaced with the same video, otherwise, too many clients to be replaced with the video may cause that resources of the video cannot be supplied for a large number of users to watch simultaneously.
These implementations may allow the server to reclaim a certain alternative video in the event that the user has not selected the video, thereby freeing up the resource for viewing by users of other clients.
In some optional implementations of the present embodiment, the method further includes: in response to the time length of the video in the display set reaching the target time length, randomly selecting video information from the alternative set as video information to be added; and adding the video information to be added into the display set, and removing the video information to be added from the alternative set.
In these alternative implementations, the executing entity may randomly select video information from the candidate set and use the information as video information to be added to the display set, that is, to be added to the video information, in the case that the video in the display set is not updated for a long time. The executing body may add the video information to be added to the display set, and remove the video information to be added from the alternative set.
The implementation methods can update the video recommended to the user in a random selection mode under the condition that the display set is not updated for a long time, so that the user is prevented from repeatedly watching the same video recommendation information.
In some optional implementations of the present embodiment, the method further includes: responding to the condition that the duration of the video in the display set which is not updated reaches the target duration, and sending a video update request to a server; and receiving video information returned by the server side, and adding the returned video information into the display set, wherein the video in the returned video information comprises high-heat video.
In these alternative implementations, the executing entity may send a video update request to the server to request the server to return video information. The high-popularity video returned by the server may be the video with the highest popularity of the user (ranked in top N of the popularity placard) or the video with the popularity higher than the threshold. User hotness here may include, but is not limited to, viewing hotness, comment hotness.
The implementation method can recommend some videos with higher heat to the user, so that the user can know the information of the hot videos.
Optionally, the sending the video update request to the server may include: acquiring the preset video number of the videos in the display set, and determining the difference value between the preset video number and the current video number of the display set; and determining the video demand quantity of the display set according to the difference value, and sending a video update request comprising the video demand quantity to the server.
The executing body may acquire a preset number of videos for the display set, and determine a difference between the preset number of videos and a current number of videos in the display set. The executing body may determine the number of video requirements of the display set of the client according to the difference, and send a video update request including the number of video requirements to the server.
Specifically, the executing body may determine the video demand amount according to the difference value in various manners. For example, the executing body may directly take the difference value as the video demand number, or may perform preset processing on the difference value, for example, add a preset value (for example, add 1) or input a specified model, where the obtained preset processing result is the video demand number.
These alternative implementations can request video on demand, thereby avoiding the problem of excessive video information in the presentation set, occupying viewing resources of other clients.
With continued reference to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of an application scenario of the video processing method according to the present embodiment.
With further reference to fig. 4, a flow 400 of yet another embodiment of a method of processing video is shown. The process 400 includes the steps of:
step 401, a video request is sent to a server, and a video list returned by the server is received, wherein the video list comprises video information of a plurality of videos, and the video information comprises videos and video characteristics of the videos.
In this embodiment, an execution body (for example, the terminal device shown in fig. 1) on which the video processing method is executed may send a video request to the server and receive a video list returned by the server. The video list may include not only a plurality of videos but also video features of each of the plurality of videos. The client may be used to play video.
Step 402, adding at least two video information in the video list to the presentation set of the client, and adding other video information in the video list to the alternative set of the client.
Step 403, displaying the identifier of the video in the display set, and in response to detecting the preset operation on the identifier of any video in the display set, determining the operation video characteristic of any video according to the user operation type of the preset operation and the video content of any video.
In this embodiment, the executing body may display the identifier of the video in the display set. And under the condition that the preset operation of the user on the identification of any video in the display set is detected, the execution body can determine the operation video characteristics of the video according to the user operation type of the preset operation and the video content of any video. The operation video feature may refer to a video feature related to both a user operation type and video content.
Specifically, the preset operation herein may be various operations for selection. User operation types may include video selection, favorites, likes, and/or quick swipes, etc. The user operation type may be represented as a numerical value or an identification, for example, the user operation type corresponding to the video selection may be 1, and the user operation type corresponding to the quick slide may be-1.
In practice, the executing body may determine the operation video characteristics of any video according to the user operation type and the video content of any video in various manners. For example, the executing entity may determine a corresponding identifier for the video content of the video, such as 1.2 for an ancient movie and 1.3 for a youth movie. The executing main body can acquire the corresponding relation between the user operation type and the identification of the video content and the operation video characteristics, and find the operation video characteristics corresponding to the user operation type and the identification of the video content in the corresponding relation. The correspondence may be a preset deep neural network or a correspondence table.
Step 404, searching the video with the maximum similarity between the video characteristics and the operation video characteristics of any video in the alternative set, and taking the video as a similar video.
In this embodiment, the executing body may search for a video in the alternative set, where the similarity between the video feature of the video and the operation video feature of any video is the greatest. The found video may be used as a similar video.
Step 405, video information of similar video is added to the presentation set and removed from the alternative set.
In this embodiment, the executing body may add the video information of the similar video to the display set, and remove the video information of the similar video from the alternative set.
According to the method and the device for determining the video characteristics, the operation video characteristics of the video can be determined through the operation type of the user, so that the operation of the user can be integrated into the characteristic determining process, and the determined characteristics can be enabled to be more in line with the watching habit of the user.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, determining the operation video feature of any video in step 403 according to the user operation type of the preset operation and the video content of any video may include: inputting the user operation type of the preset operation and the video content of any video into a preset model to obtain the operation video characteristics output by the preset model, wherein the preset model is a decision tree model.
In these optional implementations, the executing body may input the user operation type of the preset operation and the video content of any video into the preset model, so as to obtain the operation video feature output by the preset model. The preset model here may be a decision tree model. Such as binary tree models, trigeminal tree models, and the like. Video content herein may refer to a content feature or content identification corresponding to video content.
These implementations can accurately determine operational video features through a decision tree model.
Optionally, the preset model and the number of dimensions of the operation video feature correspond to a user group to which a user of the client belongs, and the user operation type includes a positive operation type and/or a negative operation type.
Specifically, the preset model may correspond to a user group to which the user of the client belongs. For example, model parameters in the preset model may be determined by the user group. Specifically, the execution body may determine a model parameter corresponding to the user group. The user group herein may be of various kinds, such as elderly people, children, senior people, and the like. Each crowd has corresponding model calculation time consumption. For example, if model parameters corresponding to the elderly population are adopted in the preset model, the calculation of the preset model is time-consuming. If model parameters corresponding to the crowd with deep qualification are adopted in the preset model, the calculation of the preset model takes longer time.
In addition, the number of dimensions of the operational video feature may also correspond to the user group to which the user of the client belongs. The corresponding relation is preset, for example, the number of dimensions corresponding to the crowd with deep qualification is larger, and the number of dimensions corresponding to the crowd with children is smaller. The more complex the content set for the operating video features, the greater the number of dimensions.
The type of forward operation may indicate that the user is interested in the video, such as the user making a video selection of the video, the user favoring the video, and so forth. The type of negative operation may indicate that the user is not interested in the video, such as the user swiftly swipes through the video without selecting the video.
The optional implementation modes can set the model and the characteristics in a targeted manner through the user group to which the user belongs, and judge whether the user is interested in the video or not through the user operation type, so that the characteristics of the video can be associated with the interests of the user, and the accuracy of determining the characteristics of the operation video is improved.
