At present, the mechanical cotton picking technology in China has better popularization and application, but the mechanical cotton picking has the characteristics of high moisture regain and high impurity content. The online sampling compression type is usually arranged on a pipeline, the detection precision is influenced by the sampling amount at each time, if the sampling amount is different, the compaction state of the cotton is different, and therefore the fluctuation of the detection data is larger when the online sampling compression type detects the moisture regain of the cotton, and the accuracy is poor.
The contact pin type does not have a special sampling mechanism, cotton needs to be compacted manually or through a special mechanism, for example, moisture regain in the process of cotton purchasing is detected, cotton inspectors hold the contact pins to insert into the cotton and compact the contact pins, cotton pressure is easy to fluctuate, and therefore detection data fluctuation is large when the moisture regain of the cotton is caused, and accuracy is poor.
