Technical Field
The invention relates to a fixing device having the features of the preamble of claim 1. The invention also relates to a system comprising a drawer, a front panel and at least one such fixing device, and to an item of furniture having at least one such system. And finally the invention relates to a method for fixing a front panel to a drawer.
Background
Fastening devices according to the preamble of claim 1 are known from the prior art. A disadvantage of the known fastening devices is that the fastening devices are difficult to move, since the friction forces of the individual components have to be overcome during the relative movement. This prevents, in particular, the introduction of at least one furniture fitting and reduces the service life of the fastening device.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a fastening device which is improved over the prior art and which is characterized in particular by low friction forces. Another object is to provide a system with such an improved fastening device and an item of furniture with at least one such system. And finally, another object is to provide a method for fastening a front panel to a drawer by means of the improved fastening device according to the invention.
These objects are solved by the features of the independent claims 1, 13, 14 and 15.
In this case, it is provided in connection with the fastening device that the coupling device has at least one adjusting body and at least one adjusting contour, which is or can be arranged in or on the at least one adjusting contour, wherein the at least one adjusting body is arranged on the at least one holding device and the at least one adjusting contour is arranged on the at least one locking device, or vice versa, and the at least one adjusting contour is designed such that a movement of the at least one locking device is coupled to a movement of the at least one holding device only temporarily when the at least one furniture fitting is introduced.
By virtue of the fact that the movement of the at least one locking device is coupled to the movement of the at least one gripping device only temporarily when the at least one furniture fitting is introduced, it is possible to move the at least one locking device only when it is actually also required to move the at least one locking device. In the prior art, the movement of the at least one gripping device and the movement of the at least one locking device are permanently coupled to one another, so that during this process a movement of one of the two devices can occur, which does not achieve a certain objective. Thereby causing unnecessary frictional losses. In the present invention, the two devices can be moved as desired compared to the prior art. For example, a method process can be carried out in which the at least one furniture fitting is received by the at least one catch device and is automatically pulled toward the drawer, wherein the movement of the at least one catch device and the movement of the at least one locking device are first decoupled and then coupled to one another by means of a coupling device, so that first only the at least one catch device is moved, while the at least one locking device remains substantially stationary, and then the at least one locking device is moved in order to arrange the at least one locking device on the at least one furniture fitting and thus prevent the at least one furniture fitting from being unintentionally disengaged from the fastening device.
A simple way of ensuring that the at least one gripping device automatically pulls the at least one furniture fitting towards the drawer upon introduction is according to a preferred embodiment in that the fixing device comprises at least one spring and that the at least one gripping device automatically pulls the at least one furniture fitting towards the drawer upon introduction of the at least one furniture fitting by means of the force of the at least one spring. Alternatively, other drive mechanisms may be provided.
Furthermore, it is expedient for the at least one gripping device to be movable into a ready position, in which it is ready to receive the at least one furniture fitting when introduced, and into at least one drive position, in which it automatically pulls the at least one furniture fitting towards the drawer after receiving the at least one furniture fitting, preferably with a gripping lever which can be deflected about a rotational axis.
It has proven to be particularly advantageous in relation to the at least one locking device that the at least one locking device comprises a preferably curved locking contour which can be arranged on the at least one furniture fitting in order to prevent an unintentional disengagement of the at least one furniture fitting from the fastening device, preferably that the at least one furniture fitting can be clamped by the locking contour, and/or that the at least one locking device can be moved into a disengaged position, in which the at least one furniture fitting can be freely moved relative to the at least one locking device, and a locked position, in which the at least one furniture fitting is prevented from being unintentionally disengaged from the fastening device, preferably that the at least one locking device has a locking lever which can be pivoted about an axis of rotation.
A particularly stable embodiment of the at least one adjusting body can be achieved in that the at least one adjusting body is designed as a pin, preferably with a widened head.
The at least one adjusting body is fixedly connected to the at least one catch device or to the at least one locking device, the adjusting body being arranged on the at least one catch device or the at least one locking device.
In order to couple the movement of the at least one locking device to the movement of the at least one catch device when introducing the at least one furniture fitting, it can be provided that the at least one adjustment contour has at least one coupling section.
In order to decouple the movement of the at least one locking device from the movement of the at least one catch device when the at least one furniture fitting is introduced, it can be provided that the at least one adjustment contour has at least one decoupling section separate from the coupling section, preferably that the at least one coupling section and the at least one decoupling section are angled relative to one another, or that the at least one adjustment contour has an open end adjoining the at least one coupling section. For the case in which the at least one decoupling section and the at least one coupling section are angled relative to one another, it has proven advantageous if the at least one decoupling section and the at least one coupling section form an angle of between 70 ° and 130 °, preferably approximately 90 °, with one another.
In order to predetermine the movement of the at least one adjusting body, the fastening device can have at least one mounting plate, in which at least one guide contour is formed and in which or on which the at least one adjusting body is movably mounted.
Furthermore, it has proven to be advantageous if the at least one furniture fitting has at least one fastening element for mounting the at least one furniture fitting on the front panel and/or has a transverse pin or bolt which interacts with the at least one catch and/or the at least one locking device.
It has also proven to be advantageous if the at least one furniture fitting is configured asymmetrically with respect to an imaginary center plane. This makes it possible to optimally support the front panel and at the same time to achieve a compact design of the fastening device. Furthermore, it is possible by this measure to use the at least one furniture fitting universally for different front panel heights.
In a further preferred embodiment, the fastening device has an unlocking device for the at least one locking device, which unlocking device enables the at least one furniture fitting to be deliberately disengaged from the fastening device, wherein the unlocking device lifts the at least one locking device off the at least one furniture fitting and releases the at least one furniture fitting, preferably the unlocking device has an externally accessible tool holder for a tool, by means of which the unlocking device can be actuated, and/or the fastening device has a height adjustment device and/or a lateral adjustment device for the front panel.
As described in detail above, on the one hand, a system comprising a drawer, a front panel and at least one fastening device according to the invention for detachably fastening the front panel to the drawer is also claimed, preferably the drawer comprises at least one at least partially hollow drawer side wall and the at least one fastening device is largely arranged in the at least one drawer side wall, and on the other hand, a piece of furniture having at least one such system is claimed.
According to the method according to the invention for fastening a front panel to a drawer, in particular to a drawer side wall, by means of at least one fastening device according to the invention, it is provided that in a first method step at least one furniture fitting is fitted to the front panel, in a second method step the at least one furniture fitting is received by the at least one catch device and is automatically pulled towards the drawer, wherein the movement of the at least one catch device and the movement of the at least one locking device are first decoupled and then coupled to one another by means of a coupling device, and in a third method step the at least one furniture fitting is prevented from being unintentionally decoupled from the fastening device by means of the at least one locking device.

Detailed Description
In fig. 1, a drawer side wall 7 can be seen, which comprises an at least partially U-shaped decorative profile 54 and a drawer rail 55, wherein the decorative profile 54 is placed on the drawer rail 55. The drawer rail 55 has a support lug 74, on which a drawer bottom 73 shown in dashed lines can be arranged.
The front panel 5, on which the furniture fitting 8 is fitted, is shown in chain line. The furniture fitting 8 is part of a fastening device 1 (see the following figures) for releasably fastening the front panel 5 to the drawer 6. The furniture fitting 8 has two fastening elements 47 in the form of expansion plugs.
Rear wall brackets 53 for holding the rear wall of the drawer are provided at the opposite ends of the drawer side walls 7.
Fig. 2a shows an enlarged view of the front region of the drawer side wall 7 facing the front panel 5, wherein the decorative profile 54 is omitted.
As can be seen, the majority of the fixture 1 is disposed on the drawer rail 55. As can be inferred from this figure and the two subsequent figures 2b and 2c, the fastening device 1 comprises, in addition to the furniture fitting 8 that can be preassembled on the front panel 5, a catch device 10 assigned to the drawer 6, which catch device, when introduced, receives the furniture fitting and is automatically pulled toward the drawer 6, a locking device 13 separate from the catch device 10, which prevents an unintentional disengagement of the furniture fitting 8 from the fastening device 1, and coupling devices 17, 18 for coupling the movement of the locking device 13 to the movement of the catch device 10.
The coupling devices 17, 18 have an adjusting body 17 and an adjusting contour 18, in which the adjusting body 17 is arranged, wherein the adjusting body 17 is arranged on the gripping device 10 and the adjusting contour 18 is arranged on the locking device 13. Likewise, an opposite arrangement of the adjusting body 17 on the locking device 13 and of the adjusting contour 18 on the gripping device 10 is also possible.
The adjusting body 17 is designed as a pin, wherein the pin has a widened head in the exemplary embodiment shown.
The adjustment contour 18 is designed such that the movement of the locking device 13 is coupled to the movement of the gripping device 10 only temporarily when the furniture fitting 8 is introduced. For this purpose, the adjusting contour 18 has a coupling section 34, by means of which the movement of the locking device 13 can be coupled to the movement of the gripping device 10 when the furniture fitting 8 is introduced (see the enlarged section of the locking device 13 in fig. 2 c). Furthermore, the adjusting contour 18 has a decoupling section 37, separate from the coupling section 34, for decoupling the movement of the locking device 13 from the movement of the gripping device 10 when the furniture fitting 8 is introduced. In the illustrated embodiment, the coupling section 34 and the decoupling section 37 are angled with respect to each other. They form an angle 58 of about 90.
The fixation device 1 comprises a spring 21. When the furniture fitting 8 is introduced, the gripping device 10 automatically pulls the furniture fitting 8 toward the drawer 6 by the force of the spring 21. In the embodiment shown, the spring 21 is configured as a compression spring. Furthermore, the spring 21 is arranged on the spring guide 56 and is supported on the support contour 79 of the mounting plate 40 of the fastening device 1.
A guide contour 44 is also formed in the mounting plate 40, in which the actuating body 17 is movably mounted.
In addition to the mounting plate 40, there is a cover plate 61. In most subsequent figures, the cover is omitted so that the locking device 13 arranged between the mounting plate 40 and the cover 61 can be seen.
The gripping device 10 has a gripping lever 23 which is deflectable about a rotational axis 22 (see fig. 2 a). The catch lever is in the embodiment shown directly loaded by a spring 21.
The locking device 13 has a locking lever 31 which can be pivoted about the axis of rotation 30.
Furthermore, the locking device 13 comprises a locking contour 26, which can be provided on the furniture fitting 8 in order to prevent the furniture fitting 8 from being unintentionally detached from the fastening device 1. In the present exemplary embodiment, the locking contour 26 is curved. As can be seen, for example, from fig. 6a and 6b, the furniture fitting 8 can be clamped by the locking contour 26.
As can be seen in particular from fig. 2c, the furniture fitting 8 comprises a U-shaped profile 57 in which the transverse pin 48 is arranged. The furniture fitting 8 interacts in the present exemplary embodiment with the catch device 10 and the locking device 13 via the transverse pin 48. In the following figures, only the transverse pin 48 of the furniture fitting 8 is shown in each case.
Furthermore, the transverse pin 48 interacts with a guide contour 60 formed in the mounting plate 40. The guide contour 60 has, at the end facing the front flap 5, a suspension contour 59 which facilitates the positioning of the front flap 5 or of the furniture fitting 8 arranged thereon relative to the remaining components of the fastening device 1. This is advantageous in particular in the case of very heavy front baffles 5.
Furthermore, the furniture fitting 8 is asymmetrically formed with respect to an imaginary center plane 49 (see fig. 2 c).
The fastening device 1 further comprises an unlocking device 50 for the locking device 13, wherein the unlocking device 50 enables the furniture fitting 8 to be deliberately released from the fastening device 1, and the unlocking device 50 lifts the locking device 13 off the furniture fitting 8 and releases the furniture fitting 8. In the present exemplary embodiment, the unlocking device 50 has an externally accessible tool receiver for a tool (e.g., a screwdriver), by means of which the unlocking device 50 can be operated.
Furthermore, the fastening device 1 comprises a height adjustment device 51, by means of which the height of the front panel 5 relative to the drawer side wall 7 or relative to the drawer 6 can be adjusted. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the height adjustment device 51 comprises an eccentric screw with a rounded triangular contour 75, which is supported on a support contour 76 formed on the mounting plate 40.
And finally, the fixing device 1 also comprises lateral adjustment means 52, so as to be able to adjust the lateral position of the front bezel 5 with respect to the drawer side wall 7 or with respect to the drawer 6. In the illustrated embodiment, the side adjustment device 52 includes a screw having a threaded thread that bears against an opening 77 in the mounting plate 40.
The operation of the fastening device 1 according to a first exemplary embodiment will now be described with the aid of fig. 3a to 6b, wherein the components visible in a side plan view in these figures are shown in solid lines and the components arranged on the opposite sides are shown in dashed lines, so that the interaction of all components can be better understood:
fig. 3a and 3b show the fastening device 1 according to the first exemplary embodiment directly before the introduction of the furniture fitting 8 or of the transverse pin 48. The gripping device 10 is in a ready position, in which the gripping device 10 is ready to receive the furniture fitting 8. At the same time, the locking device 13 is in a disengaged position in which the furniture fitting 8 can be moved freely relative to the locking device 13.
The catch lever 23 is located in the over-dead-center position relative to the rotational axis 22 and the bearing point 79 on the mounting plate 40. The adjusting body 17 holds the locking lever 31 in the disengaged position by means of the adjusting contour 18.
The transverse pin 48 of the furniture fitting 8 is arranged at the level of the suspension contour 59 of the guide contour 60.
Starting from fig. 3a and 3b, the user now moves the front panel 5 and thus the furniture fitting 8 or the transverse pin 48 toward the drawer 6. The gripping device 10 here accommodates the furniture fitting 8 or the transverse pin 48. The catch lever 23 is moved from the over-dead-center position beyond the dead center, whereby the force stored in the pressure spring 21 becomes free and the catch lever 23 can be automatically moved further. As a result, the furniture fitting 8 or the transverse pin 48 moves further inward along the guide contour 60. In other words, the gripping device 10 automatically pulls the furniture fitting 8 towards the drawer 6. Here, the gripping device 10 passes through a series of drive positions.
If fig. 3a and 3b are compared with fig. 4a and 4b, it can be determined that the position of the detent lever 31 has not changed. This is due to the fact that the adjusting body 17 moves along the adjusting contour 18 in the decoupling section 37. For this purpose, the decoupling portion 37 is formed substantially circularly on an imaginary circle about the axis of rotation 22. The adjustment contour 18 is therefore designed in such a way that the movement of the locking device 13 is first decoupled from the movement of the gripping device 10 when the furniture fitting 8 is introduced. Therefore, no force for moving the locking lever 31 is necessary here.
Starting from the position according to fig. 4a and 4b, the actuating body 17 is now moved into the coupling section 34 of the actuating contour 18 (see fig. 5a and 5b), i.e., the movement of the locking device 13 is now coupled to the movement of the gripping device 10.
Here, the transverse pin 48 or the furniture fitting 8 is pulled further towards the drawer 6 by the catch lever 23 of the catch device 10. At the same time, the locking lever 31 now begins to deflect downward behind the transverse pin 48 about the pivot point 30 and closes the guide contour 60.
The process is continued for a long time until the front panel 5 abuts against the drawer side wall 7, as is the case in the position of the fastening device 1 according to fig. 6a and 6 b. In this position, the locking lever 31 clamps the transverse pin 48 via the curved locking contour 26. This prevents the furniture fitting 8 from being unintentionally detached from the fastening device 1. The locking device 13 occupies a locking position.
If it is desired to release the furniture fitting 8 again from the fastening device 1, an unlocking device 50, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is designed as a tool holder for a tool on the catch lever 23, can be used for this purpose. The gripping rod 23 can be moved back into the initial ready position by inserting the tip of a correspondingly configured screwdriver. The coupling devices 17, 18 simultaneously move the locking device 13 from the locked position into the unlocked position, wherein here too only a temporary coupling of the movement of the catch device to the movement of the locking device is provided.
Fig. 7a to 9b show a second exemplary embodiment of a fastening device 2 for detachably fastening a front panel 5 to a drawer 6. This embodiment is used in particular in tall front baffles 5. For this purpose, two furniture parts 8 and 9 are provided, which are arranged one above the other in height and can be preassembled on the front panel 5.
The lower part of the fastening device 2, which interacts with the furniture fitting 8, is constructed essentially identically to the first exemplary embodiment described above. In addition, however, a further locking device 14 for the furniture fitting 9 is provided, wherein the movement of the locking device 14 is coupled to the movement of the gripping device 10 or to the movement of the locking device 13 for the lower furniture fitting 8.
For the kinematic coupling, spring guides 56 are considered. That is to say, the spring guide 56 comprises a guide rail 70 in which the hinge point 69 of the intermediate lever 46 is movably mounted. The intermediate lever 46 is mounted on the mounting plate 41 of the fastening device 2 so as to be pivotable about a pivot point 65. The locking device 14 is linearly movable relative to the mounting plate 41. The intermediate lever 64 interacts with the locking device 14 on the one hand via a pivot point 65 embodied as a bolt and on the other hand via a further bolt 67 arranged on the intermediate lever 64. The pins 65 and 67 engage in rails 68 and 66, which are formed in the locking device 14.
The locking device 14 has a locking contour 27 for the furniture fitting 9, which is configured linearly in this case.
The intermediate lever 64 is loaded by a tension spring 63 in addition to the spring 21.
It should also be noted that a cover plate 62 is provided on the fitting plate 41.
The furniture fitting 9 has only one fastening element 47 in comparison with the furniture fitting 8. Furthermore, the furniture fitting 9 interacts with the fastening device 2 not via the transverse pin 48 but via the pin 78.
As can be seen in particular from a comparison of fig. 8a and 8b with fig. 9a and 9b, upon movement of the catch lever 23 of the catch device 10, the locking device 14 is pressed upward by the spring guide 56, which serves as a transmission lever, the springs 21 and 63, the intermediate lever 64 and the pins 65 and 67 mounted in the guide rails 66 and 68. In this case, the furniture fitting 9 or the pin 78 is locked by the locking contour 27, so that the locking device 14 prevents the furniture fitting 9 from being unintentionally released from the fastening device 2.
The unlocking device 50 and the coupling means 56, 64, 66, 68, 65, 67, 63 and 21 arranged between the gripping device 10 and the locking device 14 make it possible to move the locking device 14 together with the locking device 13 back into the initial unlocking position.
Fig. 10a to 13b show a third exemplary embodiment of a fastening device 3. The mode of operation of the fastening device 3 corresponds substantially to the mode of operation of the fastening device 1 according to the first exemplary embodiment.
The main difference is that the coupling devices 17, 19 are designed to couple the movement of the locking device 15 or the locking lever 32 to the movement of the catch device 11 or the catch lever 24. More precisely, the adjusting contour 19 has in this case an open end 39 which adjoins the coupling section 35. When the adjustment body 17 is located outside the adjustment contour 19, these movements are decoupled from one another (see fig. 10a to 11 b). If the adjusting body 17 enters the coupling section 35 at the open end 39 and the adjusting body 17 moves along the coupling section 35, these movements are coupled to one another.
In this case, the locking of the transverse bolt 48 is likewise effected by means of a curved locking contour 28 formed on the locking lever 32.
In this exemplary embodiment, the adjusting body 17 also moves along a guide contour 45, which is formed in the mounting plate 42.
Fig. 14a to 19b show a fourth exemplary embodiment of a fastening device 4. The mode of operation of the fastening device 4 corresponds substantially to the mode of operation of the fastening devices 1 and 3 according to the first and third exemplary embodiments.
This embodiment is characterized in that, in addition to the guide contour 46 in the mounting plate 43 for guiding the bracket body 17, a gripping lever adjustment contour 71 for guiding a driver 72 provided on the gripping lever 25 of the gripping device 12 is provided.
In the exemplary embodiment, the movement of the locking lever 33 of the locking device 16 and the movement of the catch lever 25 of the catch device 12 are coupled not only by the actuating body 17 and the actuating contour 20, which includes the coupling section 36 and the decoupling section 38, but also by a driver 72, which, when the furniture fitting is deliberately released from the fastening device 4 by means of the unlocking device 50, bears against an outer contour 80 of the catch lever 25 when the catch lever 25 is moved from the locking position into the readiness position, as a result of which the locking lever 33 is moved together.
Fig. 20a to 22b show a fifth exemplary embodiment of a fastening device 81 according to the invention. This embodiment is very similar to the second embodiment. The difference is that the upper part is designed for fastening the furniture fitting 9. When the furniture fitting 8 is introduced, the catch lever 23 of the catch device 10 is deflected by the spring 21 from the over-dead-center position about the rotational axis 22. Here, too, the spring guide 56 is deflected about the bearing point 92. At the end of the spring guide 56, a guide rail 70 is provided, in which the pivot point 69 of the intermediate lever 87 is movably mounted. By the deflection of the spring guide 56, the intermediate lever 87 is tilted about the pivot point 88. As a result, the locking lever 85 of the locking device 82 is then pivoted about the rotational axis 84 by the pin 90 mounted in the guide track 89, so that the locking lever 85 bears with the curved locking contour 83 against the pin 78 of the furniture fitting 9. The pin 90 is provided on the lock lever 85 and the guide rail 89 is provided on the intermediate lever 87. The bolt 90 is simultaneously guided through a guide rail 91, which is formed in the mounting plate 86.
When the blocking lever 85 is moved from the release position into the blocking position, the tension spring 63 is tensioned. The force stored in the tension spring 63 supports the opposite movement of the blocking lever 85 from the blocking position into the release position when the furniture fittings 8 and 9 are deliberately released from the fastening device 81 by means of the unlocking device 50.
